Since Arthur accompanied Elia to the sept I imagine he accompanied her back home too? What was the trip back home like for him 😂? I think you mentioned somewhere that Rhaegar only found out about the divorce after he saw Elia (throwing her new bachelorette party) packing and celebrating. I find it very amusing that even though Arthur was the first person among Rhaegar’s faction to know about the divorce he didn’t take it upon himself to deliver that memo 😂.

The trip back home was Arthur thinking "FUCK my boss is going to kill me" + this gif:

So Ashara managed to trick him into a side room of the sept and lock him in there for the duration of the trial. Thats why Elia specially requested Arthur as her guard that day. Because she realized he was the only kingsguard who they could probably manage to lull enough into a false sense of security that they could trap him and not have him go running to Rhaegar.

Anyways when Arthur finally finds Rhaegar its definitley something like this

Rhaegar: *sigh* "2 wives and now 2 sons when i needed 2 wives and 2 daughters. Oh Arthur what am I to do?"

Arthur: "Bro dw. You wont have one of those problems for much longer anymore."

Rhaegar: "......"

So one thing I’ve noticed is that people’s DnD characters may vary but there is usually an underlying thread that they all have in common. This thread is typically related to what that person struggles with the most.

For instance, my betrotheds DnD characters: a bitchy warlock we had to bust out of two different pacts, a sassy barbarian, a reformed drow cultist, and a sunshine fighter cleric.

All these characters were wildly different but at their very core struggle was them grappling with their self worth. My betrothed struggles with their worth a great deal and even with different facets showing their characters all have that too.

Mine all tend to contend with different themes of loneliness and acceptance. Surprise, surprise, the little autistic gremlin yearns to have been met with more love and lasting friendships.

So we’re at breakfast. I am meeting a new friend of my betrotheds for the first time. It’s been twenty minutes since I’ve met this man. I say my theory. He laughs. He starts to describe a few of his characters but specifies that he often has healing aspects. He gives a very broad overview of their character arcs.

I ponder for a moment then said, “Would you like to have my assessment?”

He laughed, “Sure!”

“We’ve just met. It’s gonna get real.”

“Bring it on.”

“I think your struggle is that you feel you must offer something of value or service to people to be worthy of their love.”

His jaw dropped. His fork froze midway to his mouth. A potato fell. He stared into space as this sank in. Quietly he said, “Oh.”

Bakugou is a stumbling, fumbling nerd at best. But once he realizes that you become even more flustered than him? The fucker won’t leave you alone.

He’s not a fan of PDA, mainly because he doesn’t like seeing it so he doesn’t like acting it out in turn, but he grabs your hand one day while you’re out. Paparazzi is swarming you and he doesn’t want you getting lost in the crowd, so he plucks your hand from where it’s tucked in your (his) hoodie pocket. He snatches you up against his side and pulls you in until his hand drops yours to protectively wrap around your shoulders instead, bringing you against his chest. He thinks you might be hurt after you get inside, when you’re too flustered to look him in the eye for a while.

So he tests, experiments with you. Gives you a sweet little kiss on the lips when your friends are around, when fans are looking. He watches how you always smile a little, bat at his chest and push him away because now that he’s seen you like this, he’s gonna want more from you. At private parties, he has no qualms about rubbing your ass while you stand there, mid conversation with someone. You keep stuttering over your words and trying to bat him away gently, and he wouldn’t typically do this, but you’re so cute. So cute when the person finally walks away and you punch softly at his chest in embarrassment, how you squeak when he pulls you in a hug just to grab another handful of your ass.

Omg and doing joint interviews together!!!! Usually he’s pretty private about everything, but he likes sharing little details—not to embarrass or humiliate you, but because he knows you’re getting flashbacks of tangled sheets and sweet nights whenever he mentions a little detail. Or maybe, you find yourself patting his thigh jokingly, before looking over at him, a smile stretching your face. But the evil little fucker is only smirking at you, his eyes low, posture slumped as he spreads his thighs just the tiniest bit wider. He doesn’t even say anything, just glances at how high your hand is on his thigh before looking back up at you, an eyebrow cocked. You snatch your hand away as if he’s burned you, and the interviewer can only laugh. ANNOYING!!!!! (lovingly)

This started out as a ficlet in my little series, but it got to the point where I figured I really couldn't pass it off as "a little over 500 words". So, here we are! My little addition to "Love, Rose" (season 2, episode 10)

Summary

A little exploration of Blanche's feelings in season 2's "Love, Rose", in which Blanche and Dorothy write love letters to Rose. To cheer her up, of course. (But also, they mean every word they come up with. And they're not quite ready to consider the implications.)
