I’m finally diving head in on putting together a character scrapbook out of my campaign notes for Dúo Rong.

Even though it’s a project that I’d started way back in late 2020 when I first got my cricut, I haven’t been seriously keeping up with the project in the way I had intended.

But! I’ve officially broken down the campaign into arcs to make the task more manageable, while also giving myself time to go back & draw little moments that I never got around to. And while I have to resize certain images to fit the 5 x 8 format, I find myself having to add on to a few of them. Which is…interesting 😅 mixing my old & new art styles.

I think I’ll only repost the ones that have large changes to them, but first I’m working my way through the essentials (a fullbody ref & all her character sheet/world info).

But! I can’t wait to share more about this campaign because it is so near & dear to me, & while it’s been really funny sharing them with next to no context, I really can’t shut up about all the subtle nuances these idiots have going for them & their relationships with each other 🤣

Anyways! My prints for Season 1 : Arc 1 arrive in the next few days & I can’t wait to see this come together!

do you have a specific place for references? i love all of the life in your “full body standing” poses and was wondering if you draw them from memory/your brain or use the reference?

sorry if its a little difficult to understand, english isn’t my first language 😅

oh broski dont worry english aint my first language either! handshake i usually go on pinterest and do a deep dive into fullbody photos/poses to figure out how sth would look if i cant come up with something of my own! :] and if all of the above fails - i take pictures of myself!

It’s almost been an exact year since I actually started drawing on my iPad (I think the few people who watched me earlier remember I used to gripe about doing fanart hahaha and how I only drew Lavenza cause I didn’t want to butcher anyone). I can’t remember if I posted this before but this was the sketch a day I did for 23? Days before my cat passed away last year… I was meant to go 30 days but I lost motivation. Originally I was going to color all of them but now they’re real old so maybe I will redraw them when I finish my endless WIP list (hahahah).

Looking at this hurts my eyes because I’ve no idea why I drew in pink pencil…over a white background. The profile view of her is actually the very first time I ever drew profile pfft.

And cringe because this is the first time I think I drew Archer actually lol.

2022 has been the year I think I’ve drawn the most out of any year (originally I quit art after community college… it’s been almost a decade now) cause I had no joy in it, despite the encouragement from my professors about my art (I had a ton of self-loathing and no joy in anything so it never mattered how much anyone said anything).

To be honest, I only really started getting back into art because I grew an obsession with Fate 😅. That’s why there’re so many Lavenza art that I did.

Back when I said she was a caster class servant—this was the first fullbody I did of her. I’ll actually redraw this one for sure. The quote above is meant to be her ‘summoning dialogue’ which I’ve kept since then.

Uhm hi! I am just wondering if I could ask you for some tips about how can I start or open a commission? Some of my friends are telling me to start opening a commission but I don't know how to start and what to do,I learned how to draw when I'm at 8th grade and I'm in 11th now and still doing drawings,I draw traditionally (in paper) and digitally

Well there are some aspects about it.

Iam not saying like Iam famous artist, Iam not,... But let me tell some things I found out about commissions 👁️

One of them is that ( in my eyes) if you feel for it to make commissions.

I think it's quite important thing, cuz if you don't feel to make something for someone you shouldn't take it. It depends if you want to work on your own projects or are you totally free...

Also another main thing is that if you think your art is in that level for being paied. When I open for the first time commissions, the quality was... Meh let's say.

So if you think your art is good for it just go ahead!

Also other things like how much u should pay, what you should pay, depends on your time and skills you already have. Try to look at others commission sheets from other artists, you can use it as a reference what would you like to draw ( bust, halfbody, fullbody) and how much they take for that.

I don't say someone want my commissions ( for now noone asked lol) but give it to try ^^

And also have on mind, that when you will open your commissions, you will have not the customers in two hours... This need a time and patience💙✨

It only depends if you feel for commissions, and you can always take them down.
