“What are you wearing?” He asked the moment he saw you, that familiar teasing grin on his face. “Shut up, okay? The stupid Entity put us in all these dumb fancy clothes for some stupid celebration.”

“Hey, I never said I didn’t like it.” He replied, putting his hands up in surrender. You frowned. “But you made that face like you always do when you’re making fun of me. It’s annoying.”

“I’m not going to make fun of you, I swear.” He moved his finger over his chest, crossing his heart. “I mean, the dress does look…nice.”

You glowered are him, smacking his chest. “What? I didn’t say anything wrong.”

“Just shut up.” You took his hand, moving one around your waist, and the other into your own. “What are you doing?”

“Dancing, duh. I can’t just wear nice clothes and not do anything in them.”

He doesn’t get it at first, accidentally stepping on your toes a few times and stumbling. You laugh at him a bit, pissing him off, but manage to help him. After a while, he’s not horrible. He watches as you away with him, thinking you’re the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. He’ll never admit it, but he’s never been more at peace, especially when you lean in and kiss him gently.

You weren’t sure why he liked you, when he so easily spread bloodshed against the others. He was quiet, always quiet, but you could tell he enjoyed your company, and you enjoyed his. All you knew was that you reminded him of someone from his past.

When he saw you in the masquerade clothing, he dropped to one knee, removing his helmet. He pressed took your hand in his, pressing a gentle kiss to yours, making you get flushed. “You look beautiful, my love. May we dance?”

“Oh- uhm sure.” He never seemed like the type to dance, but you let him take your hand, and away with you softly. “I’m surprised you would do this.”

You admitted. “The royalty of my land would always host big parties and dance like this, bathing in their greed and riches but also expressing their love.”

You gazed at his handsome scarred face, giving him a small smile. To your surprise, he smiled back.

The Executioner A.K.A Pyramid Head

He let out a noise of approval the moment he saw you. He leaned over and cupped your cheek, caressing it softly. Pretty.

“You like it? It was a gift, from The Entity.” You told him. He let out something akin to a purr in response. His hands trailed down to the glittery dress you were wearing, playing with the fabric softly.

You stepped to your tiptoes and pressed a gentle kiss to the edge of his head. “Would you like to dance with me?”

He tilted his head in confusion. “Here, let me show you.” You took the lead, moving his hands over your body, and swaying with him. He picked you up, unexpectedly, swaying you faster. “Woah, woah, gentle.”

Oh, that’s right. Gentle. He moved slower with you this time, finding the rhythm and movements. He seemed to enjoy it very much, and you did too.

1. How many works do you have on ao3? 25

2. What’s your total ao3 word count? 509,392 but some fics are co-written so they’re not ALL my words

3. What fandoms do you write for? currently only IWTV but i used to write for Hannibal

4. Top 5 fics by kudos: my top 5 are all Hannibal fics but for IWTV the ones with most kudos are Let the flesh instruct the mind, Against all odds, Sum of our worst moments, Works like love, and New horizons

5. Do you respond to comments? Yes, always. If someone’s taking the time out of their day to let me know that they enjoyed my work, then the least I can do is to take the time to respond and say thank you. Comments are SO important to me, perhaps the most important metric even. Reader feedback motivates me to keep writing (so if you’ve ever commented on anything of mine, thank you so much 🥺🩵)

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I pretty much only write happy endings so none of them are angsty. But if i had to pick the angstiest it would be Sum of our worst moments. It’s pretty hopeful but the circumstances Loustat are in are pretty grim sooooo

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? All of them, but Works like love is very fluffy and happy, Loustat’s honeymoon era

8. Do you get hate on fics? Nope, thankfully. Occasionally people express their disagreement with my choices about which character tops and which bottoms but it’s hardly hate

9. Do you write smut? Of course. All my fics are Explicit rated 😏

10. Craziest crossover: I haven’t written any tbh

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that i know of!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, and it was the biggest honour 🥺

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes, and i love it! I co-wrote a Hannibal fic series with my love @memequeen1127 and miiiiiight write something for IWTV with my other love @sightetsound. Stay tuned!!

14. All time favourite ship? Loustat at the moment but I also love Hannigram

15. What’s a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? My most popular Hannigram fic. I love the AU setting and plot but i just can’t find the motivation to continue :(

16. What are your writing strengths? I think i can do a pretty good job at conveying deep emotions with my words. I like using clever figurative language and metaphors to add colour to my writing. And i’m good at foreshadowing 👀

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I think i sometimes over-explain things to readers in my writing because i want to make sure that things come across the desired way. Maybe that can be jarring and readers want to interpret things and arrive at conclusions on their own.

I don’t tend to describe the physical appearance of my characters (or things and places) unless it’s directly relevant to the story. A visually oriented reader may prefer more descriptions in order to be able to visualise things.

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language? I always love seeing some French in IWTV fics. Im learning French currently so it’s a nice way to practice. But i think that sometimes too much foreign dialogue can distract from the story if the reader isn’t familiar with the language and has to go find translations.

19. First fandom you wrote in? First ever was Harry Potter but first on ao3 was Hannibal

20. Favourite fic you’ve written? This is a very hard question! Currently the college fic (Against all odds) is my baby, i think about it every day.

hiiii mel!!! hope you’re doing well ☺️💗 oh it’s so hard for me to pick favourite skz songs simply because i love all of them and listen to their discography on shuffle literally every day 😭 i did answer my fav skz songs over here tho! but i can elaborate on some of them:

hellevator. this song is just such a perfect introduction to stray kids! the desperation, the lyrics, the explosive chorus!!!!! it’s such a raw look into the predebut life of an idol and to see the desire to reach the top.

mirror. “for once i wish i could see myself.” !!!! this track has such a beautiful choreography but also thematises an important topic: the alienation of the self and the desire to see yourself once again.

my pace. JUST STAY IN MY LANE!!! i really think that this one was pivotal to the message of skz’s discography - that is to say, go your own pace, in your own lane, and don’t look at others.

hero’s soup. this track is so meaningful 😖 the way they talk abt the alcoholism that is prevalent in korean working culture from a son’s eyes … truly so touching.

maze of memories. OKAY ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC SONGS EVER! all eight of them rapping, the tonal shift, the switch up of the flows, the lyricism, the wordplay … MASTERPIECE.

side effects. while being one of the most hated songs in their discography, it genuinely is one of the most thought through and meaningful tracks that they’ve ever produced. side effects manages to express anxiety sooooo so perfectly.

levanter. YOU ARE SO LOVED MY QUEEN … seriously one of the best songs ever like 😭 the message of being free and becoming yourself with the wind motifs is truly unparalleled 😖

god’s menu. need i say anything? no. she is iconic and she KNOWS it. cooking like a chef i’m a five star michelin like that’s that on THAT.

the tortoise and the hare. maze of memories’ little brother! i love the way they play with rhythm and flow here, it’s so unique!

silent cry. THIS SONG IS SO ADDICTIVE … there’s so much that’s just simply perfect about it. the chorus is soooo smooth, and the lyrics are so touching 😭

charmer. YAAAAS COME THROUGH SNAKE CHARMER. the whistle … the flutes … the biribarabiribaaaaam … they get me. also there’s so much clever wordplay in this!!

of course i have sooo many more fave songs that i would love to elaborate on!! these are just a few 🥰

Still recovering from the enormous Groove I got yesterday from @asiansoul_jyp concert Groove Back in Yokohama JAPAN… what a wonderful concert! Starting the show with performances by my fav @niziu_info_official was first surprise, then saw stage of J.Y.Park… it was really sensational. His live performances weee wayyyyy cooler than I saw on the internet! So incredible vocal n dance… even he performed a lot with only short break every time, then still he sang n danced energetically n passionately without losing the dynamic energy. Even he showed various performances internationally. Besides K-Pop, he sang English songs n even J-Pop songs I’m familiar with… especially I was totally mind blown when he sang cover of my lifetime fav Ellie My Love since I was also a huge fan of original artist Keisuke Kuwata n Southern All Stars. I cried all the time from beginning to the end since I heard the iconic intro of the song. It was really one of the most beautiful cover performance I have ever listened n watched. Hope I can watch the performance or streaming online or watch it at the future concert again☺️ It was also great progress for us that we were allowed to express cheers as well as hand clapping, so I could sing out the chorus part together with audience, enjoyed vocal interaction with JYPark n NiziU…that was really happy moment when I could sing out n say their name☺️ Watching NiziU’s performance was also pleasure to me, they showed their happy cheerful performance and hearty presence which made me happy🌈✨ Even they collaborated with JYPark for their debut songs, sang n danced together, they looked so joyous n wonderful! I felt bad for NINA because she couldn’t make it to the guest stages due to her illness… I cried when I heard her voice part in their performances, but her voice also made me thankful for her beautiful vocal presence. And at the live session, her part was covered by other members. I was thankful for them for helping each other to do their best as a group. Happily married with two amazing daughters, ages 18 and 13

In love with my hubby Josh and about to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary, but also in a very serious imaginary relationship with Levi Ackerman ❤️☺️❤️

My attraction to Levi is for multiple reasons….we are close in age, he is ridiculously good looking, his body has been sculpted by the Gods themselves, his fighting style and speed take my breath away, and he cares ferociously for not only all human life, but those he is close to (although we all know he has difficulty expressing his emotions.) Levi is my ultimate dream man ❤️🤤❤️. If he weren’t a fictional 2D character, he would be #1 (and probably the only one lol) on my celebrity “list.” (Reference from my fav TV show, Friends….where a married person has the permission from their spouse to sleep with anyone on their list of dream celebrities if the situation ever presented itself.)

Surprisingly, Levi and my husband share many characteristics. My husband is shorter than me, as I am 5’8” and he is 5’6”, my husband has dark hair he wears longer on top and shaved in the back (similar to Levi’s but a little different), he is extremely strong for his size, swears frequently (lol) and has a great body 😏

Working on my first multi-chapter Rivamika fanfic, and should have Chapter 1 posted by this evening. It will be a unique take on how Levi and Mikasa very quickly develop feelings for each other after the Rumbling.

Also plan on sharing oneshots, headcanons, and drabbles by me, and artwork by my talented youngest daughter

Lastly, I’m currently compiling a Masterlist of my favorite Rivamika fanfictions by other authors. I have read TONS of amazing fanfics and want to compile this list to make it easier for other Rivamika fans to locate some of the best Levi and Mikasa stories!

I am open and supportive of all ships and lifestyles, so even though Rivamika is my fav I will sometimes share other things I like from other ships.

so I maybe found IDBTWY (i hope i put the letters in the right order my brain is so slow HAHAHAHA) on ao3 and binged all of it (+ the prequels) last night and WOW😩🥵🤩🥰!! It was beyond amazing! You are an incredible writer and the whole story was so engaging and well balanced (the angst:fluff ratio 😤👌🥵) and I COULD NOT STOP READING PLEASE IT WAS SO GOOD??? This should not be allowed I am not okay and how dare you release something THIS GOOD😩🥰!!!! You are SO TALENTED I love this story sm please I can’t believe you’re letting us read this for free TYSM☺️💛. Something about Elriel AUs just hits different and this one >>>>?? NEXT LEVEL! I loved it so much please I just wanna reread immediately but I will wait until I have enough time to reread here and give you the praise and appreciation and hype that you deserve because this story is INCREDIBLE. Truly. I AM OFFICIALLY A (n even bigger) TSWANEY17 STAN😌😌💛💛!! Because I remember you def also wrote Across the Hallway which is ✨burned into my head✨ because I’ve read it so many times I’m not even sorry😌😌😌. Definitely my comfort story too, everything about it is so warm🥰🥰 (except for that very smutty chapter😈)!!! As you can tell I’m definitely not the writer here🤣. I have no words for how incredibly wonderful it felt to read this. I'm totally not going to be able to express myself well enough for you to understand how much my heart swelled to get this.

LITERAL TEARS IN MY EYES!!! 😭😭

I feel like I say this all the time, but I never expected to get the kind of reaction I have over this fic. Here I was, just a random newbie to the writing world (at least for public consumption), and to get the amount of amazing and responsive feedback I've gotten has just been astronomical to me. You are the reason I push myself to continue and improve my writing. I seriously cannot say thank you enough, but truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Across the Hallway was my first baby. It was this random idea that I just needed to get out and when I look back on it (knowing that it needs A TON of edits), I can't help but smile at how far I've come. IDBTWY has been an absolute joy to write (yes, even when everyone yells at me to just make them kiss and to stop hurting them 😈).

I can't say I blame you for letting IDBTWY dethrone ATH, because, in my heart, it has too. I don't usually give myself kudos or talk about things I've done that make me proud, but this fic is one of the proudest things I've ever accomplished (-ish, since it's not done yet).

As for a schedule, I tend to post every other week - but I'm not always successful. Life gets busy, ya-know? For notifications, you can always subscribe to my fic blog (I only reblog snippets and actual fics, nothing else so it's not obnoxious), @tswaney17fics. Or you can subscribe to my ao3 account as well. Those will probably be the best options for keeping up with my posts.

I am a HUGE TSwift fan! I had the idea of Elain and Cash singing Exile together for months before that part came out. It just hit me as Elriel, especially in this fic. But more ironically, my last name also begins with "Sw", so we're almost the same person… 😬 (A girl can dream right??)
