Back in Dragon Age Hell so I redesigned Amira’s Winter Palace dress so instead of completely ignoring the advice of her advisors and insisting on a Fereldan style cut she looks a little more appropriate for Orlais (even if she still hates Orlais.)
This is set in @world-of-thedas and I’s multiple Warden AU, where through a series of butterfly effects Warden Commander Amira Surana ends up at the conclave and receives the anchor.

Sometimes I think about how Corypheus's plans would've been scuppered if the Inquisition had just sent people to deal with both the mages and Templars and it. kind of annoys me. And it would've made sense to do so, too; even though they only need one side to seal the Breach, a) having a backup plan in case the mages/Templars can't do it or can't do it alone is a smart idea and b) if they want to restore order they're going to have to bring both sides under control at some point anyway. Sure, both sides want to speak to the Herald specifically, but there would be ways around that; if nothing else Felix and Dorian would absolutely be willing to sneak some people into Redcliffe to deal with Alexius. And that would at least allow for a situation where both Fiona and Barris survive. But it would be interesting to write a fic where there are two parties, with one going to the Templars and one going to the mages in order to sort out both sides. The trouble is that the rest of the story then becomes a bit of a mess, what with Corypheus not having an army...
Also: what happens to Calpernia/Samson if you side with the group that they would've been in charge of? As far as I'm aware that... never actually gets explained. Does Corypheus just kill them or something?

Owl House x Star Wars AU
In a galaxy far far away, a rebel cell began to form on the planet Boilosa. The Empire sent a special legion, the Empire Coven as they called themselves, to the planet to cease the “civil unrest.” But all it did was strengthen the resolve of the planet’s residents. So, just like Lothol… a rebellion had begun.

Main/Important Characters:
Luz Noceda: Daughter of a Order 66 survivor and a retired medical officer, Luz Noceda was born with a unique connection with the force, allowing her to sense things via the nature around her. After an Inquisitor killed her father, Luz began to learn more about the ways of the Jedi, but she wanted to learn her own way and follow her own path. This is what brought her in seeking out a mentor to teach her the ways of the Force and the ways of the Blade and Blaster. Little did Luz know, but this would bring out a whole new rebel cell’s birth.
Amity Blight: Daughter of a human (Alador) and a Nightsister (Odelia), Amity Blight was almost raised to be loyal to the Empire, but her father had other ideas on how to raise their children, so he took them to Boilosa. There, Amity learned more about her heritage and abilities with Dathomir magic. Slowly but surely she became quite skilled with it, especially in the area of summoning Dathomir spirits to her aid. It was actually her summoning spirits that caused her to bump into Luz on one of Luz’s adventures on the planet.
Eda Clawthorne: A Mandalorian that takes care of a young native to the planet (King), Eda Clawthorne, or the Owl Lady, is a very skilled and powerful bounty hunter, taking on even rouge Jedi and high ranking Imperial officials. Thanks to this, she has become quite the target. And Boilosa is the perfect place to hide out. Eda was content on causing the occasional mischief on the planet… that was until Luz the human arrived, claiming she was the daughter of a fallen Jedi and wanted to be trained how to fight. Needless to say, Eda never backs down from a challenge.
King: A young native to Boilosa, King is a very boisterous youngster, but he has a little bit of right to do so. His father was THE Titan, a legendary Jedi that left the order due to conflicting views. Titan believed that some people, even Dark Side users, deserved to get a second chance and a way to redeem themselves, among other beliefs. It was said beliefs that lead Titan to leave the order and start a family, King being his only offspring. Well, King now learns under Eda, and has quite the knowledge of Mandalorian culture.
The Titan/Titan: The legendary jedi who left the order, Titan has become something of a myth on the planet. But he is indeed real and alive, hiding deep in the pits of the planet, meditating in a form of hibernation. And thanks to this, he has become so attuned with the planet, he can manipulate it at will.
Willow: A Nautolan researching the local botany on the planet, Willow is a strong willed scientist and fighter. Bullied during her childhood, Willow strived to prove herself to her dads, her classmates, and above all else.. Herself. And thanks to learning so much about botany and biology, Willow has become a force to reckon with, being able to whip up a bunch of deadly and powerful “potions” with ease.
Gus: A Kel Dor on Boilosa to learn more about holograms and stealth technology, Augustus (Or Gus, as he prefers to be called by) was always treated differently due to his intelligence and skills with hologram technology. But after learning more and more and proving he was doing very well for himself, Gus left his home to Boilosa to experiment and learn. And now he can use the technology to create multiple holograms so perfect to himself and others he can trick any foe with ease.
Hunter: Hunter never knew his parents… probably because he was an unaltered clone of Belos’s deceased rebel brother Caleb. Belos created Hunter to become the ultimate Imperial soldier. Hunter has used every weapon in the Imperial military and flown every TIE Fighter model that made it to high production. But Hunter was a unique clone. He wanted to explore, to learn, to EXPERIENCE normal everyday life. So when Luz revealed to him the treachery of the Empire… and his true origin… he was given that chance to fight for that normal life.
Odelia Blight: Odelia Blight is a money driven marketer. She knows how to use her words to get what she wants, and she usually gets it. So when she joined the Empire, well… she rose through the ranks quickly.
Alador Blight: The husband of Odelia, Alador has forgotten why he married Odelia to begin with. And since leaving with the kids, he’s been keeping busy, repairing and rebuilding battle droids from the Clone Wars to keep his family safe and make some extra cash to get food on the table.
Belos: An Imperial Grand Admiral with deadly ambitions, Belos Whitebane is a pure force of hatred. If he had been connected to the Force, he may have been one of the most powerful Sith Lords… and it was this realization that made Belos connect with Moff Gideon to discuss cloning. Belos would make hundreds of clones of his deceased brother, each slightly altered to convince others of them being just related or it being of coincidence. And when he was ordered to Boilosa, he was ecstatic to begin his true reign of terror with his Empire Coven.
Lilith: Lilith truly believed the Empire was doing something good. As a Mandalorian, she joined the Imperial Navy to bring honor to her family. And she rose quickly through the ranks, commanding entire platoons of Stormtroopers. But when the Empire Coven were ordered to Boilosa, Lilith’s entire world would slowly crumble to reveal the awful tyranny she had spent her life defending.

Important Story/AU Notes:

Mrs. Noceda is alive and well, no worries there.
Boilosa is a large planet, looking almost exactly like the Boiling Isles, but without giant skeletons.
The planet is home to various creatures, including ones indigenous to other planets.
Boilosa was once a place connected deeply to the Force, and temples dedicated to both the Sith and the Jedi are scattered all over the planet, in addition to the High Republic army bases hidden and the old Clone Wars bases and warehouses scattered as well.
Any conflict on Boilosa was minimal, the best being a firefight in the sky.
The citizens of Boilosa are from various species from across the galaxy.
Amity’s Dathomirian magic is slightly altered due to being partially human, so her magic is purple in color.
Edric and Emira Blight are both more human than Nightsister in appearance.
Story wise, this follows a similar plot of the Owl House (Luz learning magic, exploring the isles, and making friends all the while fighting Belos) but with more exploration, more making allies, and more learning her abilities. The big fights are scattered and altered.
Luz’s lightsaber is basically Stringbean. Purple and that tan-ish blue as the hilt, and yellow being the color of the blade.
Stringbean themself is an Astromech droid with the same spunk as R2-D2 but with a bit more innocence.

:: STORY INFORMATION ::
Daemonhunting Inquisitor : As an agent of the Ordo Malleus, Alethea is primarily skilled in hunting down and destroying daemons. She is not prone to trusting agents of Chaos, or most Xenos. It’s not, however, impossible to change her opinion on beliefs that she’d otherwise be willing to defend with her life - you just need to be smart and subtle about it. Her Lord Inquisitor, meanwhile, has a reputation for being an angry, sadistic man.
Incognito : Being awkward as she is, Alethea doesn’t enjoy most people knowing she’s an Inquisitor, and she’s not prone to using the rank to get her way. If it’s possible, she’ll hide among her Tempestus Scions, wearing her own set of identical armor, and the group as a whole will be acting on orders of Inquisitor Crescere as relayed through their squadmate, Thea.
Watched Over : Alethea and Serge are siblings, in a sense, and becoming a daemon hasn’t hindered his desire to try to protect her. He secretly entrusted her with a fragment of his soul, and now she’s his only hope of potentially returning to being human. He may show up out of the blue to chat and make sure no one is going to disrupt his plans. She doesn’t know he’s ‘alive’.
Hunted by Shadows : There’s dark truths hidden in her past, Alethea just doesn’t know it. Her personal records are largely redacted and would require a higher level of clearance than she presently has to read them uncensored. Certain actors have less than pleasant intentions for her if she happens to earn their ire, intentionally or otherwise.
Forever Fighting : Being fairly young, Alethea is still unaware of her nature as a perpetual. If she dies, the memories of the death tend to fade before her body repairs itself and she wakes up. However, the more she dies, the faster she revives, and eventually those memories will be kept. It’s only a matter of time before someone witnesses her apparently immortal nature…

Multiple PCs!! I love when people write "all origins" fics, or double Hawke AUs, or have all the possible Inquisitors show up during DAI. Or when people bring potential PCs from previous games (that weren't actually the HoF or Hawke) and have them show up in later instances! I was just rereading a fic earlier where Cadash is a lyrium smuggler, Trevelyan is a Templar with the Inquisition, etc, an dI love that sort of thing.

Oh man oh man oh man, I always struggle to identify "tropes" that I like to write 😂 I suppose canon divergence, is that a trope? I also like enemies/idiots to lovers and Not Actually Unrequited Love

Platonic ships!! Genfic my beloved 😭��😭 romance is all well and good, but friendships and non-romantic relationships (my Sibling Bias™️, augh) are just so so so precious to me. Especially in games like DA where the world is constantly ending, what else do you have during the apocalypse besides the people around you? 🥺
24. how has fandom positively impacted your life?
In entirely immeasurable ways😭💖💖 Most of the people I count among my closest friends, I've met via the DA fandom in the past two years. They've supported me and hyped me and helped me face insecurities and self-directed negativity that I never thought I would get through. With them I've found acceptance and community and love that makes me want to crush the distance between us.
Speaking of community, that's the other positive impact I've found in fandom! The DA community is alive and well and full of bright and brilliant people. I love the mutual hype, the crazy fan theories, the feeding frenzy that starts every time we get even a scrap of DA4 news. And writing exchanges! What a fun thing to participate in.
At the time that I picked up DAI, we were mid-pandemic and I had just moved back home from college and socializing was either nonexistent for safety or hard to find. I'm a true introvert and often at peace with just my own company, but even for me it was a lonely and isolating time. The Tumblr and especially Discord communities I've found here have connected me to Other People more than I've felt since living in college dorms years ago.
A lot of that is due to a friend I made by commenting on her fic on ao3 - without her as my guide, I probably would have been too scared to step into the communities that I love so dearly now, or even into the roles I play within those communities. I might not even be posting writing, which is insane! And our first conversation was about, like, the proper way to use hyphens when writing dialogue lol.
Anyway the POINT of that is: find your guide! Comment on fics, reblog things with nice tags, reply to posts when you smile and think "wow that's cool" and say that! Accept the awkward first messages of friendship and you'll find a bridge to wonderful places within fandom. Community is what you make of it - if you never talk to anyone, they won't talk to you. But if you reach out and talk to people, in one form or another, there are so many positive, uplifting communities out there to join and enjoy <3

I do not accept unsolicited fanfic prompts (I will ask for them if I want them), but I will discuss my fics, ships, etc.
Do not ask about whether a fic is still being worked on/is abandoned, that is literally answered in the stuff below this.
I'm in my 30s, non-binary, and disabled. I move back and forth between fandoms often, I very clearly write fics with incest and dark themes, I don't generally post NSFW but may reblog some (but always tagged so it can be filtered). If any of this makes you uncomfortable, it's your responsibility not to follow me.
This is a multi-fandom personal blog that therefore sometimes has non-fandom topics (medical related posts, anti-bigotry posts, anti-capitalism posts, etc).

Sorry, I've been depressed as fuck these last few months and so slid into a much less dramatic hyperfixation for a bit and wasn't writing much/at all.
Reminder that fics not posted on here are not abandoned, they just aren't at the forefront of my mind right now. If a fic is truly and fully abandoned, I will actually mark it as such. I have updated multiple fics after years of not doing so before and will surely keep doing that.
New fics I'm working on right now and planning on posting something for in the next month or so (all Dragon Age fics for now):
Untitled DA2/DAI AU (working title "Mercy")
Cullen joins the Seekers after they remove Meredith from power, but finds out a horrible truth that has him running to the one place they can't reach: Tevinter, where the Imperial Divine, no stranger to Seekers, quickly "recruits" him. He thinks he'll be a novelty that quickly wears off, but is, of course, so very wrong. Will be Fenris/Cullen as main ship with some platonic Urian & Cullen and Dorian & Felix & Cullen.
Untitled DAI Time Travel AU
At the end of the world, the Inquisitor and his remaining allies made a desperate deal with Razikale who sent them back in time to try again. But the Old God of Mystery doesn't do anything in a straightforward way and the group find more about themselves changed than they thought possible. Most likely Inquisitor/Merrill and Solas/Cullen with some Hawke/Cullen for main ships.
Untitled DA2/No-DAI AU
Having never been warned about a possible Exalted March, Hawke comfortably (or, as comfortably as he could) took the position of Viscount of Kirkwall and set about rebuilding the city-state with his friends and allies as the world around them collapsed into war, ironically creating a symbol of stability. Main ships probably Hawke/Varric, Fenris/Cullen, and Bethany/Merrill. Past Hawke/Anders and Sebastian/Cullen.

3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year
ooh! this is a tough one, especially since i forgot that i actually finished a herald's faith in 2023, and thought that was much longer ago! i don't have a specific line, but i did write a three person (inquisitor/iron bull/dorian) ballroom dancing scene that was a lot of fun and i was very proud of.
i used this video as a reference, if you're interested!
15: something you learned this year
i have the chops for longform fic with multiple story threads, but i prefer to write shorter works! a herald's faith came in at 174k words, and i am exceedingly proud of the work i did in that fic, but the 3-5k mark is the sweetspot for me. i'm glad i have and probably will again write longer works (i have an idea for an elidibus/wol long fic inspired by pandaemonium i hope to do this year), but i prefer shorter ones and one-shots (including loosely connected ones in a series or collection!) to read and write.
25. a fic you read this year you would recommend everyone read
ooh this is a tough one. i'm very selective about fic that i read, and an exceptionally biased reader, very much giving my friends preferential treatment with my attention. also, it's hard to say 'everyone' because of the variety of fandoms i delve into. but, if you're a good omens fan, then i absolutely recommend @yamisnuffles' au series, too much of a good thing. in it, crowley didn't fall, and he and aziraphale live through their 6000 years of history together. i haven't even finished it yet, because i am a very slow reader, but it's beautiful, hitting that sweet spot for me in every area, from her use of canon to support her divergence from it, to depth of description in prose, including chapter/installment lengths.

Have you ever thought about a what if faction swap au where Merkara is the JC and Relu is the SI?
I have multiple AUs with faction swaps, but not a single one in which Merkara and Relu take each other’s roles in class stories. Now I have to imagine this
Merkara as Jedi Consular: Merkara’s parents escape the Empire while her mother is still pregnant and successfully reach Republic space. They’re outsiders with their strong imperial accent, but they live a quiet life and they’re free. Merkara listens to tragic family stories instead of fairy tales because her mother wants to make sure that she will never take freedom for granted. Barely suppressed rage is her knee-jerk reaction to any injustice because of the weight of generational trauma. When her Force sensitivity becomes too obvious to ignore, her parents willingly send her to the Jedi Order – it’s a safe place for people like her, a chance to finally belong. Merkara cares more about the mysteries of the Force than the fate of the galaxy because the world is horrible and she feels powerless to change it. But then she gets dragged into the class story events and the Noetikons lure her further with the promise of knowledge. Merkara loves knowledge, but she soon learns that she loves positions of power as well. Maybe she can’t change the horrible world, but as the Barsen’thor she can try to bring some justice with her own hands.
Relu as Sith Inquisitor: His parents fail to bring him to the Jedi Order – they get ambushed and killed. Relu becomes a slave at the age of four, and many years later he is sent to compete for his survival on Korriban. He’s definitely not in his right mind and gets progressively more unhinged because having hypersensitivity and spending most of his life surrounded by suffering is an incredibly damaging combination. He’s a feral little man who lashes out because he’s constantly in pain and no one ever taught him how to deal with it. He has no connection to the Kallig bloodline, but that’s not a problem. Lord Kallig’s ghost awakens when he senses Merkara across the galaxy. When Relu finds him in the Dark Temple, Lord Kallig notices that this stranger is exceptionally strong in the Force and decides to offer him a deal: “I will help you gain power, but in exchange you must find my descendant for me.” So Relu will eventually seek Merkara out to fulfill his end of the deal. In the meantime, he’s well on his way to becoming Darth Nox.

Sometimes I think about the Multiple PC aus for dragon age and some are super plausible in a this will change next to nothing way (The Hawkes just being two sets of twins, Garrett and Marian, Bethany and Carver) others are a little harder by number but lore wise would be cool to adapt (Multiple/All Origin Wardens) and then theres Inquisition... did they all get an anchor? did one get it but they all survive? whos the Inquisitor?

I am bad at thinking up questions but I *am* deeply curious now about the multiple Brider timelines 👁
Brider being my original Jedi OC, she exists in all of my star wars AUs, including ones set in the PT, where she's an Archivist under Jocasta Nu.
If Order 66 happens, she either dies immediately, ends up turning into a spooky person-eating forest on Iridonia, or becomes the Sixth Sister, an Inquisitor who sounds so reasonable and logical that you almost start to believe what she explains to you...
If Order 66 doesn't happen, she ends up becoming the Archives Mistress.
There are also time-travelling Briders, because this is Star Wars fanfiction. The best time-travelling Brider is the one who is a ghost working with the Resistance and pretending to be Leia's aide.
And there is, of course, Brider Surriss, Third Barsen'thor.
