Coming Full Circle
There is a LOT of giving up going on around here! 🤨
"There are only two episodes to go."
"There's not enough time to get Tech back."
"We aren't going to find out who CX-2 is this late in the show."
Whoa! Just whoa.
Put on the brakes, peeps! There's so much of the full-circle storytelling technique going on in this series that there is NO reason to be giving up yet. There are a few parallels happening that are giving me hope that I want to share with you. I hope they help with your anxiety over what's coming in the next couple of weeks the way they have helped me with mine:
"The Cavalry Has Arrived" is the title of the final episode and also the very first words uttered by a Batcher in The Clone Wars. They came to the rescue then, and they are doing it now.
In that Clone Wars story arc, the Batch teamed up with Rex and other clones on a mission to infiltrate an enemy installation. They're doing that again. We know the Batch is on their way to Tantiss and we know from trailers that Rex will be there too.
They went into their Clone Wars mission with a specific task to accomplish, and in the course of that mission discovered that someone presumed dead was alive and being made to aid the enemy. It was Echo in The Clone Wars, and it could easily be Tech now.
The Clone Wars arc was four episodes long. Reports are saying that the final episode will be roughly triple the length of a single episode like "Aftermath" was to begin the series. That means that we have as much content still ahead of us to end the series as the entire Anaxes/Skako Minor/Echo rescue arc in The Clone Wars. They made a LOT happen in that story arc, and it looks like that's how much time we have coming up. A lot can still happen.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. I've had a lot of fun on this roller coaster ride through the galaxy with you all and our favorite defective clones. May the Force be with us as it wraps up! 🧡

It's pretty understandable to not like Astarion. He's an asshole. He's selfish, he's hypocritical. He threatens to kill you when you first meet. He's a sadistic little shit. He complains A LOT. Approves of killing animals and children etc. You get it. He's a pretty shitty guy.
And if you don't enjoy his character for those reasons that's perfectly valid. I'm sure it gets annoying seeing him being put on a pedestal and talked about over and over in this fandom. It is very much okay to not like this asshole and not be able to get into his character like other people do.
I understand what it's like to feel like you're being spammed by content that you really don't like. And it's perfectly okay to feel annoyed by it.
But what's NOT okay is harassing people just because they enjoy something you do not!
My point: Keep scrolling and don't be a dick.

Welcome To The Harringrove Café! ☕️
What the hell is this?
I’m so glad you asked! Steve and Billy have opened up their own café with themed treats that you can anonymously send to friends on Tumblr, and they will deliver them every Saturday!
It’s a positivity project to make people smile and let them know you’re thinking of them. Sometimes an ask isn’t enough (or you just don’t have the right words to say) and going the extra mile for someone can truly make their day!
Against Billy's wishes, Steve has declared that all menu items are FREE! (Thanks, Steve~)
How do I send a treat?
Easy!
1. Check out the menu and decide what you want to send to a friend.
2. Fill out the order form
3. Your treat will be delivered by the café on the upcoming Saturday.
If you’d like to send a special delivery (for a birthday, congratulations, etc) use the special delivery form, or send an ask and it will be delivered on the day you request.
Please keep an eye on our pinned post for other events and exciting things.
You can also send asks with café/coffee shop headcanons and customer service related questions for Steve or Billy (or mod), because that’s fun. If anything that happens in the café inspires you, you can draw artwork or send fics.

Disclaimers:
There is currently 1 mod. I am not looking for a 2nd mod. However, my DMs are always open if you'd like to collaborate and create a menu for the month. It does not have to be Harringrove themed since I do feature other characters here.
This café is inclusive to everyone who likes/respects Billy, Harringrove and the fandom. You do not have to be an active member of the fandom to send or receive treats. You can even order treats for yourself.
Asks will not usually be answered once deliveries begin on Saturdays. They will either be answered before, or afterward, or if mod takes a short break between deliveries.
All hate mail (yes, even the café receives hate mail) will be discarded and disregarded, so you don't have to worry about seeing any negativity here ever.
The menu will change based on the season or special event/holiday, so all treats are here for a limited time, between 2 weeks to a month.
Treats will only be delivered on Saturdays, with the exception of special delivery treats.
If someone blocks the café, I will be unable to deliver their treats (sorry, but sometimes it happens!)
If someone does any harm to the café, the mod, or any of the creators I collaborate with, they will be blocked. (this is a very rare occurrence, but it also happens as I ensure that this is a safe space for everyone involved.)

Just a Reminder for the BG3 fandom
Well any fandom really.
1. I've seen people say the faults in the game are wearing on them now that they see them. No piece of media is inherently perfect. And expecting perfection out of something is going to lead you to losing your joy in things. This isn't to say we shouldn't give our feedback to Larian where the game lacks. But at the same time, you don't have to stop enjoying the game, especially as there are many things it does very well.
2. I've also seen people talking about the discourse getting to them. Please remember - you're under no obligation to engage in discourse. I do my best to keep my blog free of this. If I see a blog engaging in discourse often, I won't follow them. If I have opinions, they are my own, and no one needs to share them. This isn't to say we can't have thoughtful discussion.
Example: Discussing Wyll's lack of content in game compared to other companions Vs. Claiming that anyone that doesn't make Wyll fanart is racist.
Discourse takes a hateful tone. It isn't there to add to the community. It's there to be negative.
3. Take a break! Sometimes you need to get off social media, play a different game etc. You can love something without drowning yourself in it 24/7.
4.Engage with the creators / blogs that you love. Leave comments, reach out through DM's, reblog with your thoughts.
Curate your experience sounds like a cliché at times, I know. But it's the same for fandom space and real world space, what you surround yourself with will have a huge influence on your mood and perception.

I would love to do a positivity post and call out specific users but I don't have the brain power to do such a thing, so I will say this:
The Billy Hargrove fandom (all of us, regardless of ships or whatnot) has been one of the most accepting, helpful and open minded community in fandom I have ever been a part of.
I've had lovely friends in other fandoms, but never have I felt safe in a majority of a fandoms presence with little instances of bad situations within it.
We've all encountered people that we didn't mesh with or ended up not being able to be around within fandom sure, but that's not the picture for everyone or even a common thing that happens here and that has never been the normal for me or for many people in the wider world of online communities.
Most of you are so caring and will go out of your ways to make other people feel better or to help get people help with whatever is needed. So many of you are willing to take time out of your own days to spread things like charities and good will to those who need it.
You all are loving. You all are patient and mature within how you talk to others, how you treat each other, and how you approach issues you might or might not have the knowledge to handle.
And when bad faith actors end up worming their way into our spaces, it doesn't usually take very long for the entirety of you to sus out the bad and hurtful and call it out, rightfully.
Don't change Billy Fandom. Keep on keepin on, and if anyone ever comes to you and tells you that you are a bad person for the simple act of having empathy for someone in a harder place than ourselves, then just remember, you have that compassion.
