Really bothered about all the msinformation going around about charlie and the chocholate factory

People are claiming that its wrong that willie wonka took the oompa loompas from their native home in the forest when that simply is not the case

The oompa loompas are willie wonkas children. He lays his clutch in the chocolate river, and when the eggs hatch they depend on the cocoa butter in the river for sustinence. When they are large enough they begin the next stage of their life, crawling ashore and being annointed as an oompa loompa.

Willie wonka created the factory in order to save his dying species, and in charlie and the chocolate factory, wonka realises that he is nearing the end of his life, and none of the oompa loomas are yet mature enough to run the factory. So wonka tries to convince a human to take care of his children when he is gone.

Hello!! :D I feel like you might be a great person to ask - do you have any Alex/Olivia fic recs? I’m dying for some content but don’t even know where to begin!

YES absolutely! I will begin by listing some of my favourite authors and stories of theirs that are fantastic, and then some other stories I really enjoy.

Authors:

LeahCK - Honestly? Everything she has written is amazing. A lot of her fics alternate between Alex and Liv’s POV, which I really enjoy and which she does super well. “Out Tonight” is one of my favourite, feel-good A/O fics.

Clomle44 - Incredibly talented writer, all of her stories are 10/10. She has an unfinished story that is literally everything I have ever wanted in an A/O and hasn’t been updated since 2010. Her characterisation of Alex is perfectttttt.

Rae D Magdon - Very big A/O writer who has been around for a long time (and now writes like, legit novels?) Do love “It Happened One Night”, “The Question” and “Sick Day”.

AOlurker - Mostly a lot of really well written fluff and smut. Uh, “Alex Cabot was Drunk”, “Endorse”, “Tease” and “Yes, Alex” are ones that come to mind.

somebody’s secret - I have not read all of her fics by a long shot but I really like "Toothbrush", “An Easy Fix”, “Compromised”, “Intoxicated”, “Silk Ties” and “I owe you”.

November Rain 19 - I adore her writing style. “Anything” is really sweet and funny and “Missed” gives me emotional distress.

Stories:

“Descent” by milk3002 - Definitely take note of the content warning as it deals with some really upsetting material, but this is probably the best A/O fic I have ever read. The author conveys complex emotions beautifully and some parts honestly took my breath away.

“Spark” by chilly_flame - I read this story when I was a very small, gay child and it is INSANELY good and has two sequels that I haven’t even read entirely yet (but I’m sure are equally excellent).

“Thin Frames” by DAxilla

“Knight in Shining T-shirt” by Luxor Nautalis
