I’m 1000% here for retired!Morgan scrolling through his Instagram feed after his family is asleep and seeing a cute picture of wine drunk!Reid from Garcia’s page and having so many sudden emotions about the friend that he hasn’t called in months that he pounds a fifth of whiskey, grabs a big flannel, goes in the backyard, and pretends not to cry as he chops down a tree instead of texting him because the last time he did, he almost told him how he really felt.

I don't know if you watch Criminal Minds, but one of the big ships in the fandom is MorganxReid. On the show, Morgan called Reid Pretty Boy. He did it about 3x in 14 seasons and each time is really special, But in more than a few fics, Morgan calls Reid Pretty Boy about 3x per chapter. It's overkill and takes away from the specialness of Morgan called Reid Pretty Boy.

Oh, I can see why fans would take that and run with it! But yeah, it could be too much of a good thing spoiling the specialness!

I remember my early days of reading slash. There were so many fics labeled slash if you squint, I hated that. I used to read a lot of Criminal Minds fics b/c I shipped MorganxReid and so many of their fics can with an author's not where they were like they could be friends or something more. Whatever you like. Nope, I want definitive proof that they are are couple.

That’s still relatively new, I remember reading Baking My Way and it was like 19 chapters of fluff and two or so chapters of smut and I remember thinking it was SOOOO Scandalous! Or the end of DILF, same thing, they like bone and I remember being like “oh my word!” Now after 5 chapters I’m all DICKS OUT OH WHAT?!?!

i know you don't watch cm anymore, but what are your best memories of shipping morgan/reid?

AMPLIFICATION being the pinnacle of the ship, the ultimate shipping episode, like that ep would have made 100% narrative sense (even if there was no previous fodder) to end in a kiss

when breen frazier used to pander to us shippers hardcore, luv u man

the fact “beside you” by marianas trench became a de-facto moreid anthem because there were like 6 different moreid fanvids set to it and we all put it on our playlists (close second, was “pieces” by red)

that time reid has a nightmare and calls out for morgan repeatedly, gay

the discourse about the “they’re about to hose me down” scene in amplification and how adamant i was (am) that it is 100% better than morgan didn’t stay to watch

that time matthew gray gubler and shemar moore went to japan and it looked like a fucking honeymoon

everything @ladykatiekay ever made for the ship, god bless her

how ever many times i made morgan/reid sims

the bajillion aus i made for them for practically anything i watched, not limited to: princess diaries, titanic, star trek, na’vi (avatar), serial killer

angst bingo where i forgot i signed up and wrote 25 500+ word fics in 2 weeks to get a blackout haha haaa

The fact that Breen Frazier is writing the ep where Morgan comes back actually makes me happy cause he likes Morganxreid ship, he also said this if they ever wanted a character to be homosexual: "we haven't found a way to integrate it naturally into the storyline. If it presents itself, we totally wil"
