It's wraping nicely

Maybe except the fact that since ep7 it feels like somebody cut Li Ming and Heart scenes. Like how come he is at MC farewell dinner. I kinda need a scene when Li Ming tells Heart that Jim saw them, or at least some interaction outside the funeral.

despite my great love for P'X, I still think that he invited OhmNanon to the roles of TunTess for nothing. even though P'X said he wanted to work with OhmNanon, let's admit that he did a disservice, which caused Jimmy and Sea to get a barrage of dirt. after all, many were waiting for the appearance of OhmNanon and did not want to look at JimmySea. to be honest, neither Ohm nor Nanon demonstrated dramatic talent in their 10 minutes of screen time, in which they appeared in this series. P'X could take any actors for these roles, perhaps even unpopular ones, so that everyone could focus on the story of Puen and Talay and not wait for OhmNanon to appear in the frame.

not to mention why it was impossible to make the same neat and unobtrusive advertising in vvs as in our sky … (despite the fact that I like nomnom choco pie and the mirroring game in ep8)

IM AFRAID YOU'RE OPENING A VERY BIG CAN OF WORMS HERE ANON

i do personally agree that having ohmnanon in vice versa ended up doing more harm than good, both to jimmysea and the show itself, but im aware im not the most unbiased and objective person to talk about this, and i do believe that sometimes it's just a matter of things resonating with people in different ways (i lost count of how many popular BLs i feel indifferent about)

i also don't mean to defend p'x but i do feel like a lot of times people give directors way more decision making power than they actually have, at least on certain things. sure, the director is the one in charge of casting the actors, but we shouldn't forget that the final word always belongs to the producers and/or the company funding the project. it's like when i went on MDL to read some comments (NEVER DO THAT FRIENDS) about moonlight chicken and saw so many people bashing p'aof because earth doesn't look like he's in his 40s and he should have casted an age appropriate actor for it, meanwhile i was sitting there like do you guys really think that even if p'aof wanted to cast an actual 40 years old actor to play jim's role GMMTV would have allowed that. when their most popular pair of actors is currently made up of two eighteen years old boys. in a society that likes to tell us that if you're 26 you're already too old. DO YOU

......but i digress. the point is, im not saying p'x didn't have any part in choosing ohm and nanon, maybe he really just wanted to work with them and that's it, but i also think it's possible that GMMTV tried to push ohmnanon on vice versa because from their point of view jimmysea was a big gamble as a pair and they didn't trust them to pull enough numbers by themselves

ANYWAY. im starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist so this is probably my cue to shut up sfjksgfj but i do agree with you anon, and while i do prefer to focus on positive things i can see that vice versa and jimmysea haven't always been treated in the best way

#not to talk out of my ass or sound petty as hell but i do think vice versa was a product of p'x's love with barely any help from gmmtv #i remember when people used to say gmmtv meant vice versa and jimmysea to be the new bad buddy and ohmnanon and i've always been like #THAT'S LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE #people complained about the amount of product placements in vice versa and then really said #'mmh yeah that sounds like something gmmtv would do to a show they fully believe in'#ANYWAY #sorry anon i just realized this may sound a little bit too harsh but i hope you know that in no way shape or form im mad at you!!!!!#i actually agree with you way more than i could probably express without getting murdered ;;;;;;#and im not gonna tag this because im a coward sfjksgfj ;;;;;;#m: ask

A truly wonderful slice of life show

i believe this is truly the best series gmmtv has put out (idk about any straight media bc i so not consume straight content as it is my belief that straight people should not be allowed)

Can you believe earthmix were in their divorce era while filming? Because i truly cannot.

I'm no Moonlight Chicken expert but we all know he would kill uncle Jim, until Jim came Alan still thought he had a chance to make things work with Wen and Jim just crushed that for sure, so let's get that out of the way

So about Wen Wen Gaipa, in ep8 Alan has moved on from Wen and has started the healing and he just met Gaipa, from what I understand from what ep 5 while they were broken up Wen did at one point pity fuck Alan, knowing all of this I'd say Alan would marry Gaipa because there is just too much history with Wen, Gaipa is new and unknown territory, and he has not been hurt there yet, he would fuck Wen because of this as well, because they know each other but that chapter of their lives ended and at the end of ep 8 none of them want to reopen it enough to go to marriage level again cuz it does look like Wen and Alan had rings at some point in their 5 years relationship

So yeah Jim is dead, Wen is probably a good fuck seeing how Alan did not want to let go for so long, and Gaipa is getting married because well Gaipa is Alan's future

Hello Randy!! So sorry for the late reply, I've been very busy during the last days but OMFG, YES!

Now you understand what I meant lmao and yeah, the plot and dialogue is ... difficult often. And it's so sad bc EarthMix are doing a good job, but you can only do so much if that's what you're working with x.x

It's kinda funny though bc they made Win into this horrible lead who is always angry and bratty and stubborn and mean and gluttonous and too loud and too everything. But I actually ended up hating Korn more because he was like a blank piece of paper with only "Win" written on it. He was supposed to be flawless and a walking green flag and all they did was make him boring and exhausting. He should have been angry at Win and petty and maybe dismissive. He should have had dreams on his own and goals as well. A life that wasn't only directed at Win (you haven't seen the finale but he actually says that he was only waiting for Win to calm down and not be angry at him anymore which is the worst characteristic and strategy ever!). Apparently, the book is giving more reasons on why they behaved like they did (like Win being completely overwhelmed bc he didn't even want the farm, thinking Korn is into Lin AND feeling as if Korn was only nice to get the inheritance) but they fucked that up ...

Welp, sorry for the rant, I would have even more to say but yes, it's all a mess and badly done and I wouldn't have watched it all if I didn't have a friend to rant to ^^° and now fics to write :P

At least we have Moonlight Chicken coming soon, so Fingers crossed!
