i don't want to admit it but taynew are kind of growing on me in cherry magic..

i'm only 5 minutes in episode 9, so there's still plenty that can go wrong, but they're growing on me..

jan and sing can do no wrong, i love them so much i love them with all i have. do they have a series together? gmmtv give them a series

i've watched 9 episodes of last twilight

and it's just so meaningful. it's so beautiful and important.

but having seen spoilers for episode 12, my heart hurts, knowing what it could have been, what it could have given us.. and what we got instead.

#last twilight #rant in tags #i'm speechless #i know people had many issues #such as #the breakup #but i would even take a break up #or a non end game for day and mhok #and i get that having a disability is also wanting to not have it #and realistically because day wasn't born visually impaired but got it later in life #he would especially want to do anything to cure it #just because you accept something doesn't mean you wouldn't change it if given the chance #and that's the mindset that i'm going towards the last episode with #i also find it kind of hypocritical of us that we all hoped that the first surgery would work out #or at least we said it would be cruel to give him hope and have it not work #which it didn't #but when it worked the second time around we were all upset #i have so many complicated feelings #because i truly understand that accepting your current situation and making the best of it doesn't mean not taking a chance to fix it #but it also would have been so meaningful to have him stay blind and live proudly #but i also get him seeking cure and it working out #it's complicated

for someone who's entire personality for 12 weeks was not watching last twilight until it airs, i sure still haven't started watching it..

i can't make myself, because i made a post before it even aired that i hoped day doesn't get his vision back and of course good looked at me and said - is this what you want? because you're never going to get it. and gave day his vision back.

i can't make myself watch it.

#last twilight #i fully understand that living with disability is also wanting your disability to be cured #almost everyone would seek a cure if they could #because while you accept living with a disability #it doesn't mean that you would not try anything to have it be cured #i understand #but i feel like #it could have been so profound if day stayed blind #it could have been so much #but in the end it's another trope #i'm just disappointed #but i will watch it right after i finish watching cupid's last wish

i trusted mydramalist reviews and didn't watch naughty babe until about two weeks ago

and i don't know what came over me but i have since re-watched it 4 times

is it profound? no

is it peak cinema? no

but it was very sweet and cute and i absolutely fell in love with the series. so much so that i bought the novel because i can't get enough

#naughty babe #naughty babe the series #yidiao #my issue with y'all hating on this series is that all of you want peak cinema #masterful story telling from everything #but sometimes it's about a man who rather fake amnesia than talk about his feelings #a small cutie who has a lot of love to give but will also fight if needed #and a dog in outfits #and of course friendship #not every queer story needs to be an angst fest full of twists and turns #because us homos also experience domesticity and mundane love #given that the details were out of pocket but y'all wanted a thriller #i just have a lot of feeling about this #i could rant for days about the portrayal of queer relationships in media and how most people expect it to be tragic #and we really need to stop doing that #because queer love is beautiful #we love beautifully #just like straight people do #and yes #there is sometimes a lot of sadness and heartbreak #just as in any other non queer relationship #but queer relationships are exactly the same as straight relationships #when it comes to love #to loving and being loved #rant in tags

episode 11 can't hurt me, because i refuse to be hurt by episode 11 and i'm waiting for the entire series to air

while all of you are in shambles, i'm doing just fine

it just comes natural to me to be better than everyone

i'm so excited for last twilight, i've been waiting for 12 years BUT

i hope so much, that last twilight won't pull a /jesus healing a blind man/ approach.

please let day (dey (do we know the right spelling?)) stay partially blind or have the illness progress and render him completely blind (that's where it was heading).

i really hope they didn't pull the healing card

i wrote 80% of my bachelor's thesis the night before i had to hand it in for the plagiarism check and subsequent peer review..

this is the human experience

Charlie writing and turning in his essay THE DAY OF is so real. I’m notorious for leaving my essays for the day of. The latest I’ve ever put something together was 2 hours before. Did I know weeks in advance of this assignment? Yes. Did I forget about this assignment? No. I just…willingly procrastinated it.

I got an A tho.
