jade west - task 10
describe your muse’s aesthetic in five words or less.
gothic, layered, dark colors, many accessories.
does your muse spend a lot of time on their outfit and appearance? how long do they spend getting ready in the morning?
i’d say she takes quite a bit getting ready.. i can see her looking in the mirror many times picking apart a fit until she truly loves it.
does your muse consider the way they dress to be trendy? would other people agree
nah.. if she did, we all know she wouldn’t dress this way.
how often do they buy new clothes? are they the type to keep a outfit for years or replace it after one wear?
i wanna say jade goes thriftshopping or lbr hottopic.. i gotta do em to them
is your muse the type to accessorize? how much?
YES. a lot! she loves earrings, chokers, necklaces, rings, her eyebrow piercing, her nose piercing!! ALL OF EM
how much time do they spend on skin care/makeup/grooming?
id say an hour! i wanna say she does heavier makeup than she did in victorious.. probably heavy on the black eyeshadow; eyeliner.. just truly embracing that edgier style.
if money and societal expectations were not a concern would your muse dress differently than they currently do? if so, how?
n o.. jade’s style is what makes jade, jade..
would your muse wear the same outfit two days in a row if they knew they wouldn’t run into any of the same people?
i think so?? but she rly cares about her appearance so she’d have to be SURE.
have they started dressing differently since arriving in washington? was the transition difficult? do they prefer the clothes here or back home? if your character is unaware feel free to answer as if they are aware.
i wanna say no?? but also since i wanna say in victorious her outfits slayed!! they werent to their full potential for the goth/alt baddie jade was.. so i’d say it’s heavier

in which yang and weiss make sure blake eats
"You realize I can get out of this hold, right?"
Blake's voice comes after another forced--not really-- mouthful of food, cocking his head back to rest on Yang's chest and look up at her. While they all know this is true, they also know Yang also has his tail held firmly in her other hand. Something that she could do because harming Blake with malice in mind was never on the table, but as a punishment for not eating? Absolutely.
"I don't see it happening, Blake."
Weiss snorts as she raises the fork again, thinking the whole situation is actually incredibly funny. It is. Really, it is. Two of team RWBY ganging up on the third to force him to eat? Hilarious.
Especially when this is only happening because Yang had enough of Blake pulling the same thing on her. So she's got her tail pinning his legs together in a tight wrap and one arm around his midsection to keep his arm pinned and him from trying to escape.
"Just eat, you dork."

There is a new farmer in town. For a sleepy place like Mineral Valley, this is definitely exciting news.
The caption of Iori's Instagram story reads, “Welcoming the new farmer to the Valley today!” accompanied by the emojis of a female farmer and the sun. Mayor Hida has his back facing the camera, hands clasped behind him as he looks out for what Takeru assumes is the morning bus from The City.
“Huh,” Takeru hums to himself. “A new farmer, hey?”
(Or: Takeru is an NPC in a cozy farming game. He observes and interacts with the new villager and main character, Farmer Yagami Hikari.)

There is something so inherently special about a story where a robot is programmed to appear nice by default (never questioning it, just how they were meant to be), and for the first time in it's 'life' it meets someone that *makes them* want to be nice regardless of that coding.
How baffling it would feel, to realize through someone's kindness, through an affection that should've been impossible, to suddenly understand that you never had a choice in a matter of how you presented yourself, but if you had, you've found the reason why you'd stay the same way, and do the same things, and say the same niceties. Because it'd be worth it for them.
