What is a Spell Circle?
Spell circles, while they arenโt necessary, are a tool that is used as a focal point for a working. They are also very helpful in aiding in headspace via the implementation of aesthetics. Spell circles are technically hypersigils, or a complex sigil that is typically constructed of multiple sigils in tandem. They are typically constructed of three parts: Incantations, foundations, and root sigils. They are used in a ritual format, typically with each practitioner having a standardized approach to using them for spell work.ย
How do they work?
A spell circle is similar to a sigil in the way that there is an incorporation of intention, energy, passion, and focus in their creation. Spell circles operate most effectively within the energetic model or something adjacent. The psychological model will be entirely ineffective; at least as I have prescribed their creation in this article. They often contain sigils as well as some other elements that serve to connect the circle to the overall working. These elements include incantations, words, phrases, symbology, geometric/organic designs, numerology, etc.ย
Incantations, words, or phrases can be said out loud as part of the working (provided that doing so doesnโt break gnosis), or written out and burned into ash and incorporated into the working through that process. Though they can also be incorporated in other ways as well. As an example, you could write a song and record it and have the tablature or staff wrapped around the perimeter of the spell circle. You could then listen to the song while casting your spell using it as a centerpoint of your gnosis.
The other elements of a spell circle are used to enhance the threshold of the root sigil or purpose. Each additional element adds a node, or correspondence, to the threshold of the spell. Doing so helps refine the accuracy and potency of the working.ย
Designing a Spell Circle
If you have experience working with sigils, then designing a spell circle can be pretty easy. I highly recommend using programs like procreate to make these, or drafting tools! Freehanding them can be quite difficult without any experience with technical drawing. I use my tablet to draw them digitally and then trace them onto a burnable substrate such as paper.
Incantation(s)
An incantation is a phrase that is said that astutely states the intent of the spell. It is important to have this memorized, if you use them. Without having them memorized, using them will pull you out of gnosis by disturbing your focus. Incantations are like the thread that binds the spell circle to the rest of the working, especially if you use other tools, sigils, etc. When I construct my spell circles, I use the pronunciation of my sigils as the incantation, which are all aspects of a conlang that I developed. This can be seen as a sigil chain. So long as the incantation is written somewhere on or near the circle, then it is capable of being connected to the burning of those sigils via the incantation. I find that having the incantation encircle the root sigil is the most aesthetically pleasing for me.ย
Root Sigil
This is a sigil that is at the core of the circle. It should represent the base goal of the spell. This sigil is connected to the rest of the circle via the Foundation(s). Like all sigils, it is important that it is drawn while channeling its meaning through your mental state, emotions, and subtle body to be most effective.To create them, I will draw the enclosing circle first before drawing a grid within it. This grid is then used to ensure that the root sigil is centered and scaled appropriately. The sigil is always the first part that I draw. Here are a few examples of sigils I have used for spell circles:
Foundation(s)
Foundations are simple designs that each have their own correspondences. Some foundations use numerology to derive their meaning, others are given their meanings based on how they interact with the root. The foundation(s) used should also align with the purpose of the spell; but more specifically, to describe the means of manifestation of the spell to some degree. They can also be used to expand the context of the root sigil, ex. Whether it is intended to be a blessing or curse. I am always sure that when I draw them in the grid, that they appear to be a part of the sigil, yet also behind it by having the lines stop and continue any shapes that are a part of the sigil, like circles, triangles, and squares. Here are a few foundations that I use:
Associative Symbology
These symbols are things I don't really implement in spell circles myself, but include things such as astrological symbols, alchemical symbols, magical alphabets, color, and imagery. These symbols are typically incorporated in equal distribution around the circle in radial fashion, but can also be used in other configurations. The number of symbols can be implemented with numerology in mind as well. Colored line-work can also be used to further the correspondences. Imagery such as pictographs can also be used, following similar implementation as other symbols.ย
Applications
Spell Circles can be used for all sorts of workings, typically in a ritualistic fashion. However, they may also be used as passive sigils, meaning that they are placed and affect a specified space gradually over time. If they are used in this fashion, they will need to be revisited and charged periodically. When using a spell circle in a ritual, place them underneath the central spell elements such as cauldrons, candles, bowls, etc. Please use discernment. Fire safety is of the utmost importance. Once the spell is in motion, use the incantation that connects the circle to the working. I highly recommend rehearsing your incantation until it is memorized so that your spellโs effectiveness isnโt hindered. I highly recommend placing a spell anchor onto your spell circle as well so that there is a direct medium holding it. This way the spell can be recharged, broken, or altered as necessary.
Ritual Closing & Disposal
As part of closing any working, it is important to close off all energy that is connected to the working other than the anchor. Part of this is disposing of the spell circle in a responsible manner. This can be through responsibly burning it and burning the ashes, burying the spell circle itself (Provided it is on a biodegradable medium), soaking it in water to dissolve the ink and then cleansing the medium, or if it is drawn on a dry-erase board you can just erase it and cleanse it. When burying the ashes of your working, try to use your discretion as to which direction it is buried relative to your sleeping place or place of casting.ย
Identifying a Spell Circle
A few popular designs for spell circles have been misidentified in the past, specifically those of John Dee, who was a prolific cryptographer. These designs have a lot of the hallmarks of spell circles; however, they are enclosed with 72 latin letters, which donโt have any magical or mystical correspondences, but are very common in encryption wheels, and then are encoded through biblical reference. The influence his work had was very substantial in the development of spell circles and their design. While his encryption circles can be used for magic, like any other design drawn through intention, passion, and gnosis, it is obvious that it was not intended as such given the historical context of his life.ย

What Is Hidden Parable Theory?
I have been getting a lot of questions about my theory. Here is a very short description of it. Check it out. It will blow your mind!
Many of you may be asking yourself โWhat exactly is Hidden Parable Theory?โ. In this article, I will try to help clarify this question. So, what is Hidden Parable Theory? Hidden Parable Theory is a form of numerology that I modified using mathematical behavior based on the golden ratio. Why the golden ratio? Well, many scholars view the golden ratio as evidence of the existence of God or more specifically a Grand Creator of all things. So, it makes sense from a logical standpoint to use it as a way to interpret the Bible. Numerology then is the pathway of connecting numerical relationships that are found with the golden ratio and the Bible. Essentially, this is what makes up Hidden Parable Theory.
Defined as straight numbers Hidden Parable Theory uses these symbolic representations of numbers found in nature to make connections with numbers in the Bible. Another way to think of it is these symbolic numbers are basically interpreted as universal numbers and are also found in other religions as well. So, locating these universal numbers in the Bible is how Hidden Parable Theory makes interpretations that are fundamentally based on elements found in nature. But it does not stop here.
The golden ratio is only one of many examples that exist in nature that support this concept of straight numbers. It is then by making connections with these other scientifically defined models in nature that a well-defined interpretation of the Bible can be made. Then it is by using these straight numbers found in the Bible and religious artifacts that codes to hidden parables are formulated.

Ex: Ariana Grande has her Cancer Sun at 5 degrees. Cancer represents the home, emotions, and more. The sun represents self expression, self awareness, etc. Ariana grande has been an actress since she was a child.

The 17th degree represents long term fame. You could be famous for your influence over people, music, etc. depending on sign and its aspects.
Ex: Whether you like him or not, he is a great example of this. Chris Brown has his Taurus moon at 17 degrees. Taurus represents the throat and the moon represents the emotions. He is known for being a great singer and is very talented.
๐28 Degrees in birth chart:
This is known as a household name degree and you could still be remembered even if you fall off. In numerology, the 28th degree represents wealth also. Rihanna has this in her birth chart and she is a billionaire. Amerie the singer had a huge hit in 2005 called this โ1 Thingโ. Even though she fell off, people still remember her and play that song till this day, sheโs wealthy, and she has the 28th degree in her chart. But today, we will be talking about Mrs. Nicki Minaj.
Ex: Nicki has her Libra Pluto and Capricorn mars at 28 degrees. Pluto represents change, transformation, and more. Libra rules partnerships but it also rules the color PINK and Barbie is associated with PINK. Capricorn represents hard work and great work ethic. Mars represents action, confidence, etc.
Nicki Minaj is known for her Barbie image and she was able to successfully transform that image over the years. Also, people made fun of Nicki for how she dressed in 2011/2012 with the crazy wigs and outfits but that image made her a millionaire(28th degree). Nicki Minaj started rapping on her block in 2000 like she was doing freestyles and everything. In 2003, Nicki Minaj debuted with a rap group called the โhood starsโ and she started releasing her solo projects around 2008-2009. Nicki got rejected several times and people shut the door in her face but she kept going. It took Nicki Minaj more than 5 years just to make it in the music industry and I respect that she kept going no matter what.

This represents long term fame but it is KARMIC. This type of fame is fame that teaches you a lesson and helps you to elevate. Donโt get the 29th degree is a karmic degree. In numerology(2+9=11), it represents influence over others because the number 11 is an influential number.
Ex: Naomi Campbell has her Gemini Venus and Neptune Scorpio at 29 degrees. Naomiโs Venus at 29 degrees gives her long term fame for her beauty. Scorpio represents sex appeal, being temperament, etc. Neptune represents glamour and hypnotic beauty. Naomi Campbell is known for being one of the most beautiful women in the world and one of the top models in the world. Naomi has also been known to be mean and temperamental to others like her assistant and more.

This degree represents being influential and itโs a common degree found in a lot of social media influences birth chart. This degree in your birth chart can help you gain a following.
Ex: Madison Beer is a great example of this. Madison has her mars Scorpio at 11 degrees in her 6H. Besides her music, I donโt know too much about her but she is a very pretty girl. Scorpio can represent sex appeal, being magnetic, and seductive. Mars can represent desirability, lust, and confidence. Due to her Scorpio mars at 11 degrees being in her 6H, I will assume that she posts like everyday or used to post everyday. She could show case her everyday life a lot and she could be seen as someone who is as beautiful as a sirene on social media. It seems like her seduction can lure people in and cause people to be obsessed with her. Oh yea I just remembered! Every girl at one point was obsessed with her pretty she was and they wanted to be her. I would say her beauty and allure plays a huge part in her career and social media following. I could also conclude it is what causes people to be attached/obsessed with her.

These were really fun to come up with. Also, letโs say that for this AU, Hogwarts is located in Japan and there are inter-house quidditch teams. I imagine the GoM were all on the same quidditch teams years 1-4 (team Teiko; they were so gifted, they were allowed to play in their first years), but then in their 5th years, split up to join their own teams because they got bored of always dominating
I based their best subjects/magical skills off of their canon best school subjects (and what we know about their skills and characteristics from the series itself).
Normally in quidditch in the series, I think a character picks a position and sticks with it, but it made more sense to me that players should be able to be swapped around. They only play one position at a time, but have the choice to try out any position theyโre qualified for, even allowed to swap positions during a single match.
Kuroko
House: Hufflepuff
Best Subject(s): Ancient Runes, Divination
Quidditch Position: Chaser, Beater, Seeker (can play multiple)
Bloodline: half-blood (from a long line of pure-blood wizards on motherโs side)

Some reflections updates! Firstly, I got a housemate to take a look at my reflection; he says he can see the eyes, but only sees a ring of six, not eight. (Maybe coincidence, but 6 is his lucky number. 8 is not mine, though; it's 11.) Second, while the reflection still doesn't act on its own, I've noticed that when I open my mouth, my reflection's chin doesn't move at all. Third, my reflection is only like this in purpose-built mirrors. Still water and my shiny skillet reflect me normally.
I'm afraid to shave, in case getting the razor blades or shaving cream in the eyes hurts it
Next full moon is on the 30th, so I have to wait for the salt test. Will it being a blue moon affect anything?
Interesting. I'm internally tagging Numerology.
My first guess is something coming through rather than on our side. That cranks up the importance of the salt test, so the blue moon treatment can wait.
Seems like it's trying to acclimate itself. Could be dealing with a form of Outsider, or....hmm. I'll run some models. Maybe don't shave, yeah - I don't think the literalism is there to actually hurt it, but these things tend to operate on figurative logic.

Alright, time to do an analysis of the coat of arms for the Office of Incident Assessment and Response. I am sure other people have done this, but I don't care.
First, the overall emblem is based off of the royal arms of the UK, the lion rampamt sinister, and the unicorn rampant, supporting the crest, as shown below.
This is likely just to signify that it is a british official department, but just in case ...
The lion rampant signifies courage, strength, and royalty. It being sinister just means it is facing right and traditionally doesn't have any specific meanings. In the UK coat of arms, it represents England.
The Unicorn represents purity, innocence, and power, and more specifically, in this case, Scotland. It is interesting that the Unicorn isn't chained in the OIAR symbol, as that symbolizes the fact that England conquered Scotland, and joined them to the UK.
The next element in is the Laurel Wreath. In general, it signifies victory. Though, in this case, a more accurate interpretation would likely be authority or knowledge.
The Latin, non vacilabumis translates more or less to we will not falter. Non is simply a negative. Vacilabimus can be broken down into its base word vacillare, which means to sway, waver, hesitate, stagger, etc, and its ending -ibmus, which is the first person plural ending, or "we".
On to the emblem itself, the center is an inverted philosopher's stone. This was the representation of the culmination of Alchemy. It was said to have both transmutive properties and be an elixir of life. Off the wiki, it " was the central symbol of the mystical terminology of alchemy, symbolizing perfection at its finest, divine illumination, and heavenly bliss." As for what it being inverted means, I am not sure (genuinely it may simply be that by inverting the symbol, it looks more fitting as a government seal).
Around the outside, the symbol for sulfur appears at the four corners. It is the first of the three primes, or what mateerials were thought to be composed of under the alchemical model. It represents the soul, or consciousness, in all matter.
The center two symbols are the symbols for Mercury and Salt. These are the other two of the three primes. Mercury, or quicksilver, was seen as the spirit, something that linked the body and the soul. Historically, it was seen as a possible way to trancend the cycle of life and death. Today, it is seen more as the art of transmutation. Salt was seen as tepresentative of the body and of physical matter, of all that exists.
The fact that all three primes appear in this definitely means something, though what exactly I am not sure yet.
The circle around these symbols could represent acid, vitriol (sulfates), or maybe oxygen. Or it could simply be the use of standard heraldic separation.
The arrows likely mean something, but all I can think of here is the symbol for a corporal in the army.
As for the pips, my best guess is that it could be a way to implement numbers and their meanings. So, just in case, I will put their meanings from numerology here as well. 1 is the number of creation and leadership, or a number of the self. 2 in turn is the number of the other, and represents cooperation and observation. 4 is order and structure. Which all of those make quite a bit of sense...
I wonder if seeing the symbols present through a "magical" lense may begin to yield more results.

Periodic reminder that Galileo was wrong about virtually everything in that whole debate, except thatโas he had no scientific justification for believingโthe Earth does happen to go around the Sun. He no more deserves credit for accidentally getting that right than Jonathan Swift deserves credit for discovering Mars has two moons. Copernican mechanics werenโt even preferable for ease of use, the math was more complex than Ptolemaic cosmology: it had more epicycles, not fewer.
All the empirical evidence available at the time was undecidable but slightly favored geocentrism: you do not have more skill as an astronomer than Tycho Brahe did, and he was a geocentrist. Stellar parallax was not demonstrated till 1831. Galileo was a heliocentrist solely because the center is the lowest place, and being out of the center put the Earth in โthe heavensโ, specifically those of the Sun. That might be a legitimate reason to prefer heliocentrism but it sure as fuck ainโt a scientific one.
Kepler made a much better case for heliocentrism than Galileo did, and his model did away with epicycles entirely by positing elliptical orbits instead of circular. For which Galileo viciously attacked him, because Galileoโs numerologyโmystical woowooโrequired perfect circles.

okok. so ive been compiling this since the first video came out promoting ttpd. i noticed the lights on the ceiling, and knowing taylor loves numerology, decided to look into it. walk with me.
so, first: there are 3 ceiling lights off, and 19 total. 3 19. march 19 was the opening day of the eras tour.
there are 7 lights on, 3 off, then 9 on. 7 9. july 9. which is mentioned in last kiss. which mentions the time 1:58, nearly 2am. taylor used 2 imagery a lot to promote this album, then released the second half of the album at 2 am.
the lights at the far end of the hall ceiling have 5 on the left, 4 right. 5/4. tolerate it & closure have 5/4 beat which is often broken into sub groups of 3+2 or 2+3. these beats are said to be 'unique' and stand out. this numerology also calls back to the exile ends countdown of 3, 2 from the bejeweled video.
left row of lights has 10, right row has 9. 10/9. release date of 'the 1' single
7 lights on, 3 off, 9 on. 739. i searched 739 taylor swift & i got a few things:
1. a link to a website called taylorpictures & it directs to pics from the VS 2014 fashion show
2. a cosmopolitan article that mentions the '739 celebrity cameos' (which includes a certain blonde model)
3. life size cardboard cutouts of taylor wearing specific outfits:
the dress on the left was the one she wore to a billboards award ceremony during lover era and sang 'ME!'

Be overworked real magic into dungeons and dragons or coding? And how can I do this also
To tell you the truth I've never really had a good opportunity to participate in dungeons and dragons. I played a few times with my cousins as a tiny falsetto child, but maybe twice. I usually ended up dying horribly and then reading the manuals they had instead, far, far more stimulated by the illustrations of tight shit, which Ironically enough, I did end up manufacturing ersatz for use in my own workings purely out of convenience many years ago. Though, It would be a lot of fun, to steal away with a DMs favorite dice and conjure them to behave Erratically In My Favor (Or My Enemies Disfavor) Or learn to read dice and use numerological breakdown equations to attempt to read the dms next moves and plan your strategies accordingly.
The most pop-culture magic thing I've done was in my early twenties when I used some jupiter magic to petition a specific hour of jupiter for hunting shiney pokemon. It did seem like I found quite a few more, but in the end I ended up feeling kinda bad about it because depending how you view planetary magic you're basically asking a planetary intelligence older than humanity to perform a function you could provide for yourself just as easily with a romhack. (I was emulating). I may still end up making my besty a shiney charm for pokemon go, as it gives her joy, and I like to show my affection with gifts, but that I would work with blood, so arguably only my ancestors might give a shit and they ought to know by now I ain't got good sense so.... we'll see.
As far as programming a spell itself, that's a biiiiit of a long stretch by my magical model that I adhere to. I'm primarily an animist, so for me, the thing is, say I call or conjure a spirit to do a thing. Sometimes a whole mess of them.
If you're of a chaos magic bent you could *try* sigilizing something, as plaintext, and writing a very simple proglet to echo that text to the console endlessly, or based on a planetary hour, or select a versicle related to the purpose and echo that, or all of the above, or even a script to open and close a planetary seal in a window at certain hours, or an ASCII snip of a planetary glyph, but to my personal models, I could just as easily accomplish most of those things without electricity with rocks and sticks and bones and ink and materia, and efficiency of resource use, both physical and computational, is my guiding star.
*maybe* it could be useful, If you had a job interview, or impending incarceration, or a court date and wanted to know *something* was happening conceptually related to another pre-existing spell to feed it, but by my model of practice, this would still require off-code magic to make the spitting of characters to a console even remotely related to a spell intended to Do A Thing, and, Depending on how you view magic and transmission of intent you could hide stuff in the comments as a certain astrology app developer was said to do, but to my reasoning and practice, this is a waste of effort and a misunderstanding of a key element of what makes witchcraft distinct from other forms of magic - if a cute decor to your source code - as compilers don't include comments by default in any finished binary. Using an interpretive language would keep the comments intact with the instructions but they would still be stripped prior to VM code and thus excluded from execution.
You could, in theory, store a spoken spell as a string variable hardcoded in the binary and then call that variable to instantiate the spell in memory, perform some transformation against it so the compiler won't optimize away the "unused" string variable, and then do something with the transformation, say, walk the string a character at a time, summing their ordinal values, and printing the result every X milliseconds and immediately clearing the screen so the entire process is invisible outside a debugger, but this is an experiment I have not performed. Yes I accidentally just invented ascii sigils just now oh my god the disc horse I can hear the hoofbeast what have I done what have I done whyyy?!?!?!? WHY GODS?!?!

It really all depends on how you use and view magic and your creative limits in regards to brainstorming how you might incorporate technology.
For my own uses, about the best purpose I could find for my programming bent in relation to magic was in the production of my digital grimoire I wrote to prepare print-pretty HTML output of spells I input as a write them for inclusion into my solid, meatspace grimoire, and offline use on any device with a web browser:
the output + indexing feature of which is complete, and is a very handy means of auto-calligraphing a spell onto paper via Thee Most Sacrede Inkjete Printinge Daimon Of Artaeaea, and it's lacking only the finishing of the plaintext console version that can run with no browser. It runs fine under LINKS2 on dos but that browser runs for shit on the newest handheld I own (I suspect a bug in the dos emulations network layer spamming the error console as the device has no network hardware, but have not poked around enough to determine if that's why yet)
The current revision even supports theming, formula storage, windows and linux, and supports a different theme for each section, with support for CSS themes, for which a proof of concept of layering and animation support is functional, for basically no good reason than I was high on eweed and was like 'hehe what if nyancat":
I'm also currently working on retroprogramming an enumerator program to derive, accurately to occult theory, based on the qualities of arbitrary objects, correct planetary rulerships based on the doctrine of signatures and associated texts, but so far only the plant function is feature complete. The program itself isn't complete yet, and will support at least color theming:
The photo is a very early prototype, and while I got stoned one week and wrote 90% of the functions when our internet shat out and I finally had 0 distractions from the task, I haven't fucked with it further yet. The current prototype runs under DOS emulation so I can run it on anything modern, including phones and handheld gaming devices. I may end up rolling all the pieces and parts into one program that can do the whole witchy business, possibly with a very simple natural language core shell I might call AGATHA in honor of ELIZA, the ancient ai experiment intended to simulate a conversation with a therapist. All of these are essentially iterations of the first whole program I ever wrote intended to store occult information. I called it arcana and it was lisa frank colors. I'll post a photo sometime.
i'm playing with the idea of learning enough lua to produce a more adorable version for Pico-8 or a FOSS work-alike for the planetary enumerator, but have not began this yet.
There are a few other features it needs to be generally considered a digital witchcraft assistant system, but ONE DAY.
I intend to release it all eventually, maybe on itch.io or something. Freebie wise, I'm also working on a set of scripts for AI to give them the same capabilities, but so far only bard can run it. My own model and method of Doing Pointy Hat Things relegates computers to reference tools, more or less, and not active participants, but, I mean whos to say you couldn't build a servitor as a text object on a flash drive or something? Experiment, chase results, lean into what seems like it works a little, until you have something that works flawlessly. Stepwise Refinement and all.

As Above, So Below is a Kas!Eddie AU based on Van Helsing (2004) that mainly takes place in a post Season 5 world and contains many Easter eggs and references to Religion, Catholicism, Mythology, Dungeons and Dragons, Literature, and other Media. The story can be enjoyed with or without previous knowledge of all, and most overt references will be explained within the chapters themselves.
If there are things you see that make you pause, please look for explanations. Some may have linked sources. (References are organized in chapter order and will be updated upon the release of a new chapter.)

Please note before you continue, this story is one that has and will continue to criticize religion heavily. But oftentimes, in order to criticize something, it must also be used as a tool. AASB is not meant to proselytize in any way shape or form. It's only for fucking vampires.
Story-wide References and Headcanons
The Knight - Original Female Character, written in the 2nd Person POV (you/your). The knight has few, if any, physical descriptors and is unnamed. Although the transition to an OC was done for inclusivity, this has evolved into a stylistic choice. The Knight is all but unknown to everyone except Eddie. She even struggles to know herself. She has a loss of identity, has been used as a tool, and has been stripped of autonomy for most of her life and she is looking to finally take control. This is her story.
Knights of the Holy Order - A fictional group modeled after an organization of the same name from Van Helsing (2004). A collection of individuals with abilities (akin to Eleven/Kali/Henry etc.) who strive to rid the world of Darkness and protect the Light. Though the group is not tied to any one religious affiliation, the belief is that these individuals were given their abilities by a "God" and therefore receive missions and tasks through leadership figures from predominantly Western religions. Although they share an understanding that all beliefs are valid and have weight in the "mortal realm."
Hyacinth - A blue-purple spring-blooming flower that symbolizes the desire for forgiveness.
Gabriel the Archangel - An angel with the power to announce God's will to humans. Though revered as a Saint in Christianity/Catholicism, angels and Gabriel specifically have been mentioned and used as messengers in Judaism and Islam as well.
Saint - A figure in Catholicism and Orthodox Christian religions that is holy or virtuous and acknowledged as being in Heaven after death. Saints typically have a "patronage," meaning there is something tied to their life that they "oversee." (eg. Saint Anthony of Padua was a Franciscan monk in the 13th Century who was given sainthood and holds patronage over Lost Items and Lost People.)
Mickey Caldwell & Jack Shephard - Minor OCs and classmates of Eddie's that make up "Corroded Coffin V1" prior to Eddie's failing senior year the first time. Both boys move away from Hawkins for college in the Summer of 1984. Mickey is the original drummer, and Jack is the original Bass player.
"Reefer" Rick Lipton - Rick Lipton, though a canon character from Season 4 of Stranger Things, is written as a minor OC. He is a Vietnam veteran, he used to date Eddie's mom before she passed, and Eddie views him as a pseudo step-dad.
Feast Day - A day on the Catholic calendar devoted to the celebration or veneration of something or someone important to the faith.
Numerology - The belief that there is a divine relevance between numbers and coinciding events.
Prequels: Heaven, Hell, & Purgatory
Paladin - Playable character class in DnD; the character is a knight who has devoted themselves to goodness and light and fights in service of a deity. The Paladin has a code of conduct and are expected to embody goodness. In older editions of DnD, if the Paladin conducted dark or evil acts, they would lose their holy abilities.
Book of Revelation - The final book in the Christian Bible, often refuted, that supposedly predicts the apocalypse.
Purgatory - A place or state of suffering in which sinners atone before going to Heaven.
September 8 - Feast Day of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary
September 15 - Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows
September 21 - Feast Day of Saint Matthew, a sinner turned saint.

Annunciation - The event signifying Gabriel the Archangel's visit to the Virgin Mary to inform her of her Holy Fate.
Doctor Anton Phibes - A character from the 1971 Cult Classic, The Abominable Doctor Phibes starring Vincent Price. In the film, Phibes uses the Ten Plagues of Egypt in a ritual to resurrect his dead wife.
Jinette - A character from Van Helsing (2004). Jinette is an Archbishop, then Cardinal, in the Catholic Church for the diocese of Los Angeles. While members of the Holy Order are in Los Angeles, he is their contact and delivers missions and tasks for them.
March 27, 1986 - Canonically, the day of Eddie Munson's Death.
March 30, 1986 - Easter Sunday, and in-universe, the day Eddie Munson rises in the Upside Down as Kas.
Beelzebub - A winged demon that is considered the "Lord of the Flyers."
Asmodeus - A "Prince of demons" representative of temptation and lust. Asmodeus has been referred to as a "puppet."
Chapter 1: Illumination
Illumination - Historically, Illuminated Manuscripts are documents that have been decorated and gilded and then used as a frontispiece in books such as a Bible. They contain prayers, illustrations, dedications, proclamations, and often times, summarizations of a story or introductions to their characters.
Mission San Gabriel Arcรกngel - A Californian mission in San Gabriel Valley that was damaged during the Whittier Narrows Earthquake.
San Gabriel Playhouse/Civic Center - A structure across from the Mission San Gabriel Arcangel that sustained damage to the bell towers on October 5, 1987 due to aftershocks from the earthquake.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel - A name given to the Virgin Mary during her Patronage of the Carmelite Order. Scapulars (sacramental garments) of Our Lady of Mount Carmel protect wearers from "suffering in eternal fire."
Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel - A Catholic Church located in Melrose Park, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. The chapel was built in 1894.
Bungalow - A style of residential architecture in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, built primarily between 1910 and 1940.
Cornicello - A Southern Italian symbol for good luck and protection against evil.
Order of Minims - A Roman Catholic Order of friars founded by Saint Francis of Paola, known for their vow of humility, poverty, charity and devoted faith. Their habit consists of a black wool tunic belted with a tasseled cord tied 4 times to signify each vow.
Agnosticism - The belief of a God or the divine, but understanding that it is unknown or unknowable. The Knights of the Holy Order both have personal religious affiliations and beliefs, but also operate under blanket agnosticism.
Italian Diaspora - A surge of poor immigrants from Southern Italy to America in the late 19th century and early 20th century.
Beatification - A declaration by the Pope that someone is in Heaven and in a state of Bliss, usually as a step to Sainthood and public veneration.
Ancestral Sin - Occasionally used to refer to the Original Sin of Adam, however the belief that the sins of the father will then translate to the children. Present in most spiritual systems and religions. Psychologists and philosophers believe that failure of morality is simply a flaw of human nature.

Misapplying Quotes from the Bible - Gabriel, in the story, will often misquote things from the Bible or utilize them in the way that best serves the plot of the story/the string of fate. This speaks to humanity's inability to understand the Divine and the misuse of Biblical quotes to achieve personal means, as well as the belief that holy scriptures were not written by anything or anyone divine, but by mortal men.

Chapter 3: Crucible
The Crucible - A play by Arthur Miller about the Salem Witch Trials in 1692 and an allegory for McCarthyism.
Crucible - A situation of severe trial, or in which different elements interact, leading to the creation of something new.
Crucible - A ceramic or metal container in which metals or other substances may beย meltedย or subjected to very high pressure and temperatures.
Stigmata - The bodily marks, sores, or sensations of pain in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds on the hands, feet, and heart. (I am purposely ignoring Jesus in this story except for certain instances.)

Anthropophagous - A monster featured in the Monstrumologist series by Rick Yancey that is shaped like a headless man, with a mouth in its stomach. Is this series problematic? Tad Bit. Is this monster terrifying? Yes.
Brides of Dracula - Three "sisters" from Bram Stoker's Dracula that live in Dracula's castle and are used as tools of temptation. They have the ability to entrance and seduce and are considered secondary antagonists. They have been depicted in plenty of vampire media, including Van Helsing (2004). Although the visual interpretation of the three brides are Chrissy, Heather, and Barb, the literal three brides of AASB are Chrissy, Fred, and Patrick.
Chapter 4: Malum Malus
Napoleonic Wars - A series of conflicts fought by Napoleon and the French empire after the French Revolution. Napoleon invaded the Papal States in 1809 and imprisoned Pope Pius VII for signing the Concordat of 1801 which guaranteed Catholics would have religious freedom in the new French Empire (as religion was seen as anti-empirical). After his exile Pius reformed much of the Catholic Church (and also did a lot of bad things in the name of God. Popes really suck, man.)
Antichrist - A prophesied figure who will oppose Jesus Christ in an impending apocalypse.
Vomiting Dirt - Symbolic of releasing negative feelings and emotions. From a religious perspective, it shows signs of losing sight of your faith and your values. In dream interpretation, if one vomits dirt in a dream, they must take time to reflect on their past and reconnect with people they've wronged to apologize or mend the relationship.
SOS - Save our Souls or Save our Ship, SOS is a well-known distress signal. It isย three short taps followed by three long taps, and then three short taps again.
Chapter 5: Via Domus
Via Domus - Latin for "The Way Home." The chapter is named after the video game Lost: Via Domus, which is connected to the 2004 TV Series Lost. Lost has many biblical and philosophical themes, and while the characters always strive to find a way to return home, home seemed to be right where they were the whole time.
"God is Dead" - A philosophical statement made by Nietzsche, signifying that the belief of God has become so paramount and such a norm in society that people weigh all of their moral bearings on, that god is dead. Also spoken by John Proctor in The Crucible; John, a God-fearing man, becomes disillusioned during the persecution of his neighbors and himself that he believes the idea of a God, who upholds justice for the innocent, must be dead.
"Lord I am not worthy to receive you..." - This is taken from Matthew 8:8. During a Catholic mass it is said before communion; the belief is that the blessing of taking God/Jesus into your body through communion is such a blessing that no matter how holy you are, you are not worthy of it. In AASB, the Knight is quite literally believed to be a cursed and unholy being that is still gifted with holy light; in this moment, where just minutes prior she denounced God--and has slowly been coming to this conclusion for her entire life--she is looking for her faith to save her. It is, quite literally, the last line of defense against "Kas."
Chapter 6: Revelation
Revelation - A surprising or previously unknown fact, especially one that is revealed in a shocking or dramatic way. In philosophical/religious context, the act of a divine or supernatural disclosure of something to humans. There are several revelations in Chapter 6, both subtle and obvious. (Additionally, see previous reference to Book of Revelation from the Prequels.)
3 - The number 3 in numerology and in religious context represents wholeness and divine completeness. 3 sides of a triangle and the triangle is the most stable and strong shape. Father-Son-and-Holy-Spirit, 3 Kings, 3 Prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane before Jesus was arrested. 3 is also the number that is referred to most frequently in the book of Revelation.
Cerberus - In Greek Mythology, the multi-headed hound of Hades who guards the doors of the Underworld.
"What is it you want, Mary..." - Quote from the movie It's a Wonderful Life, which plays on themes of love, friendship, faith, and happiness/dissatisfaction.
"I Am Hollow..." - Speech said by Dracula to his Brides in Van Helsing.
Sweetest Day - Sweetest Day 1987 was actually celebrated on October 17th.
John Winthrop - Founder of the Massachusetts Bay colony and a prominent figure in Puritanism. Notably quoted for describing the colony as a "city on a hill" with shining moral example for the rest of the world. (*cough* bullshit *cough*)
Sacrament - In Christianity, a ceremony or ritual that is used to impart divine grace upon someone to varying degrees. Baptism, Communion, confession/penance, anointing, etc.
First Communion - First Holy Communion is one of the three sacraments a Catholic (and other varied christian denominations) and rite of passage when a child is old enough to understand the Mystery of Faith and take on responsibility/acceptance of their sins and process of forgiveness for themselves. In AASB, the Knight never went through any of the sacraments because she has always needed to take on her own sins/forgiveness and that of her ancestors. Communion wouldn't be necessary. (Or would it? The church seems to enjoy keeping this curse hanging over her head/family's head.)
Monk's Chant From Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Literal translation "merciful Lord, grant them rest." Would probably be one of the truly religious-adjacent references Eddie would recognize. The movie itself carries this meaning of "if you don't give up you'll never lose" while also MOCKING that idea.
"This is my blood..." - The knight quotes/bastardizes the line from Matthew 26:28, said by Jesus during the last supper, and recited ahead of the Rite of Communion in the Catholic Church. She is setting up a covenant of forgiveness between herself and Eddie.
Covenant - A promise, an agreement, bound by a seal. Biblically, there are many covenants made between religious figures and God.

The case of an allegedly haunted 1980s computer that started communicating with a teacher in archaic English has baffled paranormal investigators for over 35 years. Known as the Dodleston messages, they were a series of communications a teacher received on a BBC microcomputer in 1985. Ken Webster wrote about his alleged first hand experiences in a book called The Vertical Plane.

It was the beginning of the Sixteenth Century and, although Britain was gradually emerging from the Dark Ages, superstition was still rife, a time when โwitchcraftโ was greatly feared. So it was little wonder that the villagers of medieval Dodleston decided to burn down a cottage when they thought that the occupant, Lukas Wainman, had been involved in devilish activities, there. But, why did they think that? Because Lukas was using a devilish "device" to communicate with what, he believed, were humans from the distant future. So, what was this "device"? Lukas had been dragged to court by the arresting sheriff, Thomas Fowlhurst. We can imagine Fowlhurst struggling to explain what the "device" was to the judge: "Itโs a yellow box with lots of black buttons, each marked with a letter of the alphabet. And, near the front of the box, there are three glowing lightsโฆ which is why Lukas calls it his โleems boysteโ [lights box]. Sometimes, words radiate from the box, messages from these future devils. And, even scarier, when youโre near Lukasโ Box of Lights, you only have to think of a reply, and your words mysteriously appear in the air, too, and those devils in the future can actually read them! Itโs witchcraft!" He added, "And thereโs another entity, also from the future, called 2109." He said that he was running an experiment with time using something called tachyons, an experiment that wasnโt fully under his control and, as a result, evil spirits, poltergeists, have been let loose in Dodleston. The 1984 "devils" were Ken Webster and Debbie Oakes who lived at Meadow Cottage in Dodleston, the site of Lukasโ original, 16th Century farmhouse. Ken had borrowed a BBC Micro Model B computer from the local school, and messages began to appear on the monitor from Lukas; then, later, from his clergyman friend and that sheriff. Fortunately, their friend, Peter Trinder - an English scholar - was able to translate the messages for them. But who - or what - was this 2109? An AI-enhanced humanoid from the future, or something paranormal or, indeed, extra-terrestrial? And why did 2109 want Ken and Lukas to write up their experiences of these "Communications through Time"? Ken published his account "The Vertical Plane". But Lukas was too scared to make his book public and hid it, hoping it would be found in "safer times". What was going on? Determined to get to the bottom of it, Louis Sinclair - with the help of expert linguists, scientists and paranormal researchers - has uncovered clues, hidden deep in the messages, that throw light upon this dark and puzzling story and, through cracking a cipher, hidden in plain sight, Louis reveals the true meaning of "The Dodleston Mysteries" a cipher referring to Biblical numerology, along with Mayan and Native American prophesies.

Episode 1: The Past?
We find out more about the medieval characters, Lukas Wainman; his very worried clergyman friend; and the vindictive, deceitful sheriff. Ken and his friends realised that there was something wrong with Lukasโ messages. They contained very obvious factual errors. Was Lukas testing them, seeing if they spotted the mistakes? But why? As if these messages werenโt weird enough, Meadow Cottage had started to be plagued by sudden drops in temperature, inexplicable gusts of wind, and items being moved. So, Peter - after reading Colin Wilsonโs, โPoltergeist!โ - suggested that they contact the highly respected โSociety for Psychical Researchโ and ask them to investigate. As they were waiting for the SPR researchers to arrive, Lukas appeared to Kenโs girlfriend, Debbie Oakes, so, not only communications through time, but - seemingly - time-travel, as well!

Episode 2: The Future?
We meet 2109, a Collective, possibly from the future, who appeared to be running a dangerous and unstable experiment with time. What were its powers? Was it the conductor, as it were, of an orchestrated deception for its own enigmatic purposes? The Collective demanded that Ken and his friends were not to try and find out Lukas Wainmanโs real name. But they already had! 2109 was furious with them. It said that, by doing so, theyโd risked disrupting the experiment, unleashing โforcesโ that could potentially destabilise reality, warning them that, with their meddling, they could even breach the "grandfather paradox" of time with catastrophic results. Curiously, as the communications continued, Ken and Debbie started writing to Lukas in Middle English. How was that? Were they being mind-controlled, possibly by 2109? And why did Lukas worry about governments getting hold of computers? Had 2109 mentioned Artificial Intelligence, eugenics, and mass surveillance to him? Something very relevant to us, today!

Episode 3: The Time Experiment?
We learn more about the 2109โs experiment. 2109 explained how it could control time using tachyonic technology. It also said that passengers of UFOs can teleport and take over the bodies of humans. Indeed, it thought that one of the investigators from the Society for Psychical Research might be one of these, trying to disrupt its experiment. And not just that investigator, but possibly another entity known as ONE who was a time-traveller and, seemingly, was 2109โs arch enemy.

Episode 4: The Messages?
We start our โdetective workโ, figuring out whatโs really going on. We note that, despite the BBC Microโs modern keyboard lacking letters used in the Middle Ages - like โthornโ and โyoghโ - the medieval folk managed the keyboard just fine. Impossible! And, it appears that the language of the medieval messages was a mix of rubbish and sophistication. Strange! An uneducated hoaxer, perhaps, or was it deliberate? And, if so, why? The answer is as revealing as it is surprising!

Episode 5: The Hoaxers?
Is this just a hoax, brilliantly concocted by Ken, Debbie and Peter? Or are they being hoaxed by an intruder, a hacker, possibly, years before the Internet was available to the general public? Or are the 1980โs folk being hoaxed by paranormal phenomena, having malicious fun at their expense? To answer these questions, we look closely at Ken, Debbie and Peter; the possible participation of their neighbours; the โall-powerfulโ Collective, 2109; and the authenticity of the medieval characters, particularly, Lukas who seems to have been dabbling, illegally, in the occult. Something definitely happened in Dodleston, but what was really going on, there?

Episode 6: The Meaning
We answer the question, โWhat was really going on in Dodleston?โ And to answer that, we become, not just detectives, but cryptographers, code-crackers, as well. You see, Ken knew that โ2109โ wasnโt the entityโs name or the time in which it was โaliveโ, and wondered if the number, โ2109โ was actually a cipher, a secret code. It is! And, through cracking it, we find out why the Collective, 2109, had set up its time-experiment and discover its disturbing and profound relevance to us, today.

First of all, English is not my language. Forgive me if there are any mistakes in my text.
I read the content and information on your page and I feel a deep and enjoyable connection with them. I mean, your attitude and accuracy and your way of writing and thinking are attractive to me and excite me. I have some questions that I feel you can give a logical answer to.
I have always had a special interest in books and the lives of successful and great people. Those who had great things for humanity. People who were different from ordinary people. People who are legendary and successful in our opinion. These people have discovered and invented things that have not occurred to other people. Humans whose souls and insides are different from other people. They receive signs from the world and the Almighty that others cannot see and understand. People like Tesla, Einstein, Darwin, Nietzsche and many other great people.
I think there is something inside these people that I cannot understand. A big thing that I can't see. I mean, they've done great things. They discovered great secrets of the world. But what is there in these people that makes them achieve these goals and signs and follow them? Are they chosen by the Almighty? I don't think the answer is easily found in social media. But after seeing your page, something inside me was enlightened. I feel you can have a logical attitude and answer about this issue.
In my opinion, those who achieve great things in life have a deep and transcendent connection with the universe and their higher self. Like the story about Tesla and the numbers 3, 6, and 9, which I find strange. Of course, I also consider the factor of intelligence, but I know that this is not the only factor (like Edison who was expelled from school). I feel that there is something bigger and beyond that I, as a normal person, cannot understand and see, but I would like to understand it. What do you think about this?

Hello Anon thank you for this very intriguing ask. Your English by the way is excellent, better than some native speakers I dare say! Tesla was indeed a very interesting, amazing man. I believe if we followed his model of electricity/energy from the get go the world would've been far cleaner and better. When it comes to the "great" people like Tesla, Einstein, etc. that you speak of, do take care of giving them credit that isn't due as I'll explain below. Mark Twain once said: โThere is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. We keep on turning and making new combinations indefinitely; but they are the same old pieces of colored glass that have been in use through all the ages.โ I believe this applies to most if not all inventions and inventors, including AC power, the light bulb, etc. Before I delve into why some of these souls were "chosen" as you are inquiring about if this is the case, I want to clarify some historical facts regarding Tesla, whose story I am going to focus on with regards to your questions. As far as if these people like Tesla were chosen by the Almighty or not, I believe it's a little different from what you're thinking. It is actually who some of these people were incarnations of that in makes them more "great" or perhaps not as "typical" or "average" as other people, along with what was put into their divine blueprints.
Edison vs. Westinghouse "War of the Currents"
Edison came up with the Direct Current (DC) system of power while Tesla came up with a better refined form of Alternating Current (AC) power. However, it was actually Michael Faraday who came up with the idea of AC power and Hippolyte Pixii who made it basically come to life. AC operated medical devices were already being used before Tesla was born. However, Tesla did help to refine AC power and also make it so that it was more practical. Tesla it seems was just known for submitting a patent for an AC generator (maybe why people credit Tesla with inventing AC power to start with). Later on, a man named George Westinghouse bought the patent Tesla obtained for his AC generator.
I learned while researching for our ask that Edison used AC power, which is originally Tesla's model of electricity, to electrocute animals including stray dogs, horses and cattle in order to "prove" how dangerous Tesla's model of electricity is. In further attempts to discredit his rival Westinghouse (and in that Tesla), Edison also secretly provided funding to Harold Brown in order to ensure that the first electric chair was made using alternating currents to further prove just how "deadly" AC power is. Tesla did not invent AC power but he did help to refine it. Same with Edison being credited for inventing the lightbulb. He didn't invent it he just helped make it more practical. As this Forbes article on the War of the Currents puts it (similar to the Mark Twain quote I mentioned earlier): "Edison didn't invent the light bulb, he improved upon the ideas of 22 other men who pioneered the light bulb before him. Edison simply figured out how toย sellย the light bulb".
Who was Nikola Tesla an incarnation of?
In Nikola Tesla's case, I learned over a year ago he was in fact an incarnation of the Egyptian deity Anubis. Upfront this might not make much sense to people because Anubis in Egyptian mythology and paganism is the black canine/jackal-headed god of mummification and embalming, and a god of the dead. Anubis was said to be the Egyptian deity who weighed the hearts of those who died against the feather of Maโat (Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, balance, and order) to determine their worthiness of entering the paradise-like afterlife with Osiris. If the heart was heavier than Ma'at's feather, one was not permitted to enter the paradise afterlife and instead enter the underworld. In this, he determined someone's fate after physical death on Earth.
Tesla seemed to be more the type of man who was interested in bettering the quality of physical life. Perhaps he was "listening" to his higher self's instructions to pursue providing the world with a better form of electricity/light so when he dies his heart is lighter than Ma'at's feather? It's interesting to go back and point out that Edison utilized AC powered devices to kill many animals including dogs and cows. It's also interesting knowing Edison secretly funded the first AC powered chair despite publicly being against the death penalty. I would say the War of the Currents is a very interesting connection there between Tesla's higher self Anubis, Tesla, Westinghouse and Edison, wouldn't you?
Black cats and Tesla, Bastet and Anubis
On another interesting note, Tesla's favorite childhood pet was in fact a black cat named Macak (which is apparently Serbo-Croatian for "male cat") who is credited with bringing to life Tesla's interest in electricity. In some Egyptian mythology versions, the cow goddess Hesat goddess ofย nourishment, milk, and motherhood was depicted as Anubis' mother. In other versions of Egyptian mythology, Anubis was said to be the son of Bastet, the Egyptian black cat-headed goddess of protection, pleasure, and the bringer of good health. In a few older versions of Egyptian mythology, Bastet and Anubis were said to be lovers (imagine that, a cat headed goddess and a jackal headed god being lovers...). In some of the Old Kingdom versions of things, Bastet and Anubis were siblings (Ra and Hastet for Anubis, Ra and Isis for Bastet). Despite there being some question as to how each of the Egyptian deities are really connected in Egyptian mythology, it does seem that for Tesla it was his childhood pet a black cat named Macak that served as the fire that ignited or "gave birth" to Tesla's passion for pursuing better forms of electricity.
Tesla Coils, Egyptian Ankh and Sistrums
Some people online have compared Tesla coils to the Egyptian ankh. Doing my research however, another somewhat comparable Egyptian tool that happens to be a symbol of Bastet is the sacred musical instrument sistrum, which is seen below (red background). I came across this information on Bastet/Bast (benevolent aspect of Sekhmet) and sistrums while reading the 2004 book "Egyptian Paganism for Beginners" by Jocelyn Almond & Keith Seddon on page 134. The ankh is a popular yet very important sacred symbol in Egyptian mythology and paganism as was the Sistrum.
As extracted from the National Park Service website on the Ankh's symbolism: "The ankh symbolโsometimes referred to as the key of life or the key of the nileโis representative of eternal life in Ancient Egypt. Created by Africans long ago, the ankh is said to be the first--or original--cross. The ankh is often shown in the hands of important Egyptian figures, such as pharaohs and kings, preserving their immortality. Moreover, the ankh is commonly depicted in temples and in the grasp of major Egyptian gods such as Osiris, Isis, and Ra. It could also have a more physical connotation: the ankh may represent water, air, and the sun, which were meant to provide and preserve life in Ancient Egyptian culture. Additionally, ankhs were traditionally placed in sarcophagi to ensure life after death. While the ankh is a widely known hieroglyph, its origins are somewhat unclear. Because the ankh shows similarities to the Knot of Isis, some speculate that the ankh and the Knot of Isis represent the same thing: an intricate bow. Other theories claim that the ankh could signify the cohesion of heaven and earth, interlinking male and female symbols, or ceremonial girdles."
Since the Sistrum was shaped similarly to the ankh, the sistrum came to represent life and was said to help calm down angered deities and also drive away evil according to the Brooklyn Museum. Interestingly enough, Tesla once said this in an 1899 interview: "About Pythagoras and mathematics a scientist may not and must not infringe of these two. Numbers and equations are signs that mark the music of the spheres. If Einstein had heard these sounds, he would not create theories of relativity. These sounds are the messages to the mind that life has meaning, that the Universe exists in perfect harmony, and its beauty is the cause and effect of Creation. Newton learned that the secret is in geometric arrangement and motion of celestial bodies. He recognized that the supreme law of harmony exists in the Universe. The curved space is chaos, chaos is not music. Einstein is the messenger of the time of sound and fury."
If you ask me, it sounds like Bastet and Anubis were speaking to Tesla in his divine hearing talking about "the sounds from the vibrations of moving celestial bodies that will one day be able to be "heard" after converting electromagnetic activity into sound using technology [computers], which will ironically be powered by his rival's [Edison] system of light [DC power]". I included a few YouTube videos of sounds coming from our planets after doing so, pretty cool if you ask me!

The Great Pyramids of Egypt, Tesla Towers
Another interesting thing to point out regarding Tesla being an incarnation of Anubis is that Tesla had a bit of an obsession with the Great Pyramids of Egypt (which of course have 3 triangular sides and a square bottom connecting the 3 sides). It's been said that he believed they were more than just the tombs of pharaohs but that they were energy generators that are capable of producing free, limitless energy. This seems to go back to the story of him building a a miniature pyramid out of paper and wire and placed it under a beam of charged particles. Apparently the pyramid began to glow, even though it wasnโt connected to any electrical source leading him to believe the pyramid was drawing energy from the Earthโs magnetic field. It's said that Tesla theorized that if a pyramid was made out of conducive materials (ex. copper) and placed in the right spot this could be a reality. Naturally, none of these things and beliefs Tesla held about the power of pyramids have been replicated by other scientists. Thus, this lead to the birth of the (failed experiment) Wardenclyffe Tower that he built with the intent to harvest energy and provide it wirelessly worldwide.
You mentioned Tesla's fascination with the numbers 3, 6, and 9. To summarize this theory briefly, the Abstract titled "Humanโs Plexus Systems and โNikola Teslaโs 369 Theoryโ for Forming Universe and God" written by Mahesh Man Shrestha from the European Journal of Theology and Philosophy states: "... According to the Theory of Nikola Teslaโs 369, there are all together 1 to 9 digital root numbers exist. All other higher or lower numbers are the combination of those digital root numbers. This statement seems quite true when we compare it with Theory of Absolutivity. If 3, 6, 9 numbers are arranged together it makes a letter Om (AUM)..." The author here is referring to the chakras system or "energy centers" in all living beings. Another interesting connection between is that there's an electrical unit for resistance called Ohm (named after German Physicist and Mathematician Georg Simon Ohm), which is a measure of the opposition to current flow in an electrical circuit. When looking at how many of our bodily functions get started physically (heart, liver, kidneys, brain, etc.), they happen as a result of electrical impulses occurring to get things started. Hmmm, there just might be something more to Tesla's Theory of 369 than we realized...
A bit of a fun fact about myself, back in high school my very first online screenname I came up with for multiple websites and including AOL instant messaging was Punkdiva369 not Sapphyreopal5 which I picked out after I got out of high school. I came up with this screenname because I liked the show Punkd and the numbers 369 were easy to type on the keypad. Nothing to do with Tesla's Theory of 369 but an interesting connection I thought about when you mentioned this tidbit.
Using Tarot, Numerology, Divination, etc. for Success?
I see you were asking me about if we can use these things to communicate with our higher self (or higher selves in some cases) into becoming more successful. This really ultimately depends on your idea of success versus what your higher self considers to be success. Is it financial? Is it being spiritually intuned and able to flawlessly communicate with our higher self or selves (if you have any that is)? Is it simply being holistically happy with our lives? Is it being well received by the world? Is it changing the world by bringing in new ideas, concepts and inventions to change how we do things or think? This is the part where I tell you that you probably won't like what I have to say on this matter for multiple reasons.
I would not call myself a definition of success in most terms. I'm okay financially I suppose but I will say that I have things I would like to improve in my life. I am working towards being more of where I want to be in life. I also personally am more on a mission to ascend off of Earth and return to the Faye realm ASAP. After learning what I know now about the fate of this planet, history, the current state of things, etc., I felt a big sigh of relief realizing that I don't need to come up with a cure for cancer or some other great invention to change the world. It's not why I am here and if you're not here for that reason either, then you aren't and that's okay. Don't overwhelm yourself with ambitions for finishing such a big task. I would say overall the best answer to your overall question is that tools like numerology, tarot, pendulums, astrology, etc. are meant to be used to unlock your potential and your purpose, not to seek out things that are not meant for you. I believe that Tesla and others like him you mentioned tried to seek out the secrets of things like numerology, astrology, etc. to try gaining a collective understanding of things and therefore using this knowledge to change the world. What they were really trying to tap into were divine blueprints and plans; frankly, there's a reason most everyone has limited if any access to divine blueprints and plans. Heck, most people don't even decide many things about their lives prior to incarnating. Many ultimately did not live to see these grand goals come to fruition or see how their ideas and creations impact the world. Why? Because they were only meant to "achieve" or do so much before departing from this world.
I mentioned that Mark Twain quote earlier where original ideas don't exist. While there are obviously some original ideas, the message Twain was trying to convey here is that just about every idea piggybacks on other ideas, every invention piggybacks on someone else's invention. I may come across as a cynic here but a big reason why Tesla "failed" financially in life is because his execution was poor. He was considered to be unreliable due to having nervous breakdowns and is a big reason why his expensive Tesla Tower project was scrapped, along with the impracticality of his design. Tesla tried to obtain more funding for this project and failed to do so. Tesla's idea of wireless power ended up serving as a basis of design for wireless internet and other forms of communication. When it comes to being a successful innovator in this world, you have to know how to present your ideas to investors. Let's just face it, many of the greatest inventors and innovators don't exactly have the most wonderful people skills nor are they the best salespeople. Money makes the world go round. If your ideas and inventions don't have the potential to rake in money (or potentially destroy money flow by eliminating jobs), it will most likely get scrapped or your patent bought out so it never sees light of day.
With this being said, if you want to utilize tools like pendulums, tarot cards, numerology, etc. to start communicating with your higher self or selves better (assuming you have any) with more ease, I would suggest delving into universal symbol meanings. I used to do a lot of dream interpretation answering on Yahoo! Answers before it became defunct years ago. I realized that learning the meaning of different symbols like what different colors mean, animals, landscapes, etc. in terms of psychology, cultural significance, numbers, etc. in fact ended up helping me understand tarot cards and such much better.
