I saw someone suggesting we should reblog / repost our writings so we can get more attention, more people enjoying the worlds we've created. Well, I'll add to the mix.

The story I've been TRYING to get back to work on, "Dreams" is set in the MLP FiM Universe, centering around "Icarus the Lunar Guard"... because why wouldn't I? He's a batpony who's lost more than most could understand and trying to cope and find a way through his place. There will be some very dark themes, uncomfortable topics, graphic depictions of sex and relationships, so Viewer Discretion will be advised. (Chapters will have some warnings on them at least.)

Chapter 1, "Summons" follows. The link to read the rest will be after.

“ICARUS. I WOULD SPEAK WITH YOU.”

That first sound, that “IHK” that starts my name... Hearing that gave me a fear I have never experienced before. It was as if the iced waters of the Crystal Empire raced from the base of my skull to the tip of my dock. Guard training said I should have dropped into a defensive position for protection. That reflex wasn’t triggered, I was in such shock.

My personal dreamscape, my get-away from everything and everypony, my One True Home of Peace, my personal playground of decadence didn’t evaporate when I heard the first phoenem of my name. It didn’t crumble or even shatter. It simply… “Turned off”?

I can’t describe it better than that, except to say that it was “unnerving”.

The voice that called to me, that cut through my serenity and lanced through my being with The Royal Canterlot Voice, was that of The Supreme Lunar Guard Commander herself.

Her Majesty, Princess Luna.

Her voice was a moment of both clear sound and intent. She hadn’t made a request; She stated a fact as obvious as “rain is wet”. And just as precise, the sound of her voice simply stopped at the end. There was no lingering echo or ringing like every other sound has. It simply died in the blackness around me.

I had never experienced a “sound shadow” before. I don’t want to again.

The Princess knew me just as she knew all her guards. She’d made it a point to meet the Lunar Guardsponies when they’re commissioned into service. She’d bow her head, thank us for our hard work and success, levitated our royal scroll acknowledging our rank and posting after having passed guard training…

--and too quietly for anyone else but us to hear, She said to me, “I hope I am always worthy of your service, Lunar Guard Icarus.”

She congratulated us all the same way: personally, by name, and letting us know She understood the responsibility of her authority over us.

As individuals we aren’t special batponies to her or anypony else. There was a class of about thirty of us that season, all uniformed characters, identically dressed, which serves to make us less an individual and more a collective. But at the moment of our commissioning, for a brief few seconds, we were given to feel that we were the most important batpony in all Equestria to Her.

And now Her Majesty, Princess Luna of Equestria, the Ruling Sovereign of the Night, the Guardian of the Dreamscape, the Living Avatar of the Moon, who once challenged Princess Celestia for control of all Equestria, and nearly succeeded, had a special intent on me.

I stood where I was, beyond rock still, unsupported in the blackness; not even hearing my own breathing.

Her Majesty would know I heard her; it would be impossible not to in such a situation. She wouldn’t need to wait for any kind of acknowledgment; we guardsponies are trained to obey any order coming from the Sovereign Herself.

She had spoken to me. Protocol needed to be observed.

I straightened up and replied to the Nowhere, “At your discretion, Highness.”

Since she hadn’t said “NOW”, I allowed myself to slip into sleep. She would order for me when She wanted my attendance.

Mercifully I was permitted a full-day’s dreamless sleep to rest after my night’s delivery work.

Mercilessly it became a week’s worth before I was back at Canterlot Castle and summoned for.

Author's Note:

This series is something I've had bubbling in my head for a while now. I want to explore some dark, VERY dark parts of who Icarus has become in my mind. And truth be told, I'm not sure of where the ending point is just yet. BUT I want to start exploring, start looking around at an idea that popped into my head and made this series almost needed.

The next chapter should cover the groundwork of what caught Princess Luna's attentions and how Icarus will be permitted to proceed.

Infected Celestia

Celestia became infected after hearing a commotion outside the castle in Canterlot. She went to try to calm everyone down when she was bitten. She turned days later...

My own take on the mlp infection au. What is more terrifying than the literal bringer of the sun turning into a mutant zombie?? I like to think that she still has some magic in this form and uses it to help her hunt down prey.

She's the only student of Princess Luna, founded by her during her nightmare of being humiliated after she failed to move the stars like she promised she could. She's 16 but hasn't gotten her cutie mark yet, she knows she's meant to move the stars and make constellations, but hasn't succeeded yet. She spends lots of nights in Canterlot castle, learning from Luna and trying to succeed in making constellations. Over the years, Luna became something of a mother-figure to Starstone.

1. Discord has something of a cat (not counting his lion's paw) about him and he shows it sometimes. 2. Fluttershy likes it when someone (Discord) is scratching her ears. 3. Shortly after their wedding, Discord created a garden for Fluttershy in his dimension. They liked to spend their free time there.

4. The evening after Discord proposed to Fluttershy. After leaving Canterlot Castle, they spent some nice romantic moments alone.

Dewy and Cozy

Spoilers for the last two seasons of MLP gen 4

Now it seems that Cozy getting redeemed is debated on, but whether you think she deserves it or not, or you think she wouldn't bother, I am just having fun and I love me a good redemption arc. Also, this is going on the headcanon that she actually is just a filly.

So Dewy, despite having moved out of the Castle with Luna and eventually marrying her, can't help but think back to Cozy. Despite having been imprisoned by her, Tirek and Chrysalis and doing battle with Cozy specifically, Dewy can't help but feel sympathy. I'm thinking that during their battle, Dewy brings up something about parents and it strikes a nerve with Cozy leading Dewy to suspect that maybe Cozy has got some parent baggage, and Dewy also having parent baggage (she was left at an orphanage when very young with no information about her family and no one came looking for her), the encounter is always at the back of her mind. She begins to wonder that perhaps if she didn't get a positive influence in her life from that local librarian she would have gone down a similar path, and she loved the Nightmare Moon story it seemed all the more possible.

A year or two later, Once everything calms down in her life after moving, settling in a new place and being away from her friends, the wedding, the honeymoon then settling into married life, Cozy and the potential parallels to Dewy's own life becomes more of a constant thought. She can't bear to tell Luna but perhaps going to visit the statue and talking to her friends, maybe even Twilight will help. So she tells Luna she's going to Canterlot for a girls' weekend.

Bramble admits that she also has started feeling bad whenever she passes by the statue, but still, what Cozy did was terrible. Dewy can't help but bring up all their current allies who threatened the world, how Starlight tried to reach out to Chrysalis, Cozy didn't seem to get that. Bramble not sure what to say suggests they just leave it. It's not their place. But Dewy won't take that and arranges to meet with Twilight to hear exactly how everything went down.

She questions Twilight about Cozy's punishment, both the first time and the time now. How she sent her right to Tirek. Did she even attempt to extend a hoof, fight for Cozy to be better like she did for Starlight? Twi says she let Cozy explain herself. Dewy shoots back that's not the same. How Twilight was patient, showing her the mistakes she was making despite how stubborn and cruel she continued to be, getting to the bottom of her motivation that way she could help show her a better way. Twilight argues Cozy was a student, if she was going to change she would have. Dewy says Cozy was different, the mindset Cozy was in, she needed different lessons. Deconstruct that idea that friendship would give her power through manipulation. Twilight falls silent and Dewy can't tell if she just made her angry or if she is actually considering what she said. Dewy, frustrated excuses herself.

She ends up bringing her concerns to Celestia and Luna who also share concerns. Even Luna who got her own redemption. They get into an argument and Dewy decides that maybe she needs some space to calm down. Originally she was going to go back to Canterlot to spend more time with her friends, but then she thinks back to argument with Twilight and thinks maybe Starlight could give her some advice, she'd understand this better than anyone.

Starlight is also hesitant, trusting Twilight and also personally victimized by Cozy, but Dewy pleads with her, reminding her of what Twilight did for her, and what Starlight herself did for the Pony of Shadows. Doesn't Cozy deserve to have some pony do the same? Especially since she's so young. Starlight agrees but bring up the concern of Cozy's manipulation. Dewy assures her that she plans on finding a truth spell or something of the like. Starlight agrees to help search.

Bramble comes around to Dewy's plan and starts helping her research that truth spell. Blaze, though still hesitant can see how much this means to Dewy and agrees to help looking into said truth spell. Starlight ropes in Trixie, tries to rope in Discord but still feeling guilty for his mess up pretending to be Grogar plus he doesn't really have anything to gain anyway.

With everything coming together, Dewy approaches Luna once more. Much calmer now, she admits that she's doing this not just out of the goodness of her heart. Part of it comes from seeing herself in Cozy and a lingering fear that she herself could have turned out like Cozy. Luna can sympathize also having wanted to help many ponies she saw herself in. She listens to Dewy's plan and seeing all the bases covered, agrees to bring it up with Celestia and Twilight.

Eventually they convince Twilight and some of the still hesitant members of the mane six and Cozy is freed. Cozy though scared tries to put on her innocent act, but Dewy and Luna shut that down. "I'm being merciful but not stupid," Dewy says. She explains she wants Cozy to do better, but also knows she's very clever and manipulative. So for the time being, she'll be under a truth spell as they determine if Dewy is right that Cozy can be better. Cozy is not happy about it, but at least she's out.

So Dewy tries her best to get through to her, trying to get her to help around the castle/city, but Cozy is not at all interested and is trying to worm her way out of it all. If anything she tries to cause trouble only to be shut down by Dewy and her friends. Dewy starts to doubt that bringing Cozy back was a good idea. Perhaps Twilight was right that she couldn't be redeemed, at least not now. Cozy ends up overhearing this and she's surprised to find it kind of hurts. As much as she wanted to return to her own plan, it was nice having someone vouch for the real her. But now...

Cozy ends up running away. Even with the truth spell still on her, she knows she's clever and she'll figure something out to regain power. But distracted by what has transpired she ends up running into trouble (still not sure what this trouble it. A monster of some kind probably, but I can't think of one where Cozy wouldn't easily out smart it but anyway...). Dewy comes to her rescue, putting her life on the line to save her. The two end up working together to get out of it.

From then one, Cozy is still a bit of a trouble maker with an ego, but she settles into this more calm life. She slowly opens up to Dewy about her difficult childhood. I read the idea once that Cozy was born to powerful unicorn parents and being a pegasus, they look down on her. I think this really makes sense with the line she says about power types relying on their magic instead of their brain which always gave me a sense of that as much as she craved power, she had a bitterness towards magic. Perhaps that was instilled in her by her parents disappointment in her despite being so clever. Dewy sympathizes with her over her own poor childhood providing further basis for a bond.

Anyway, Cozy makes a real friend for the first time, she ends up healing, gets a found family with Dewy and Cozy. And that's all I got so far other than Cozy ends up becoming a strategist for the royal guard when she is older, but I don't have much details on how she gets there.

The Animagus Virus

(A MLP Infection AU)

After their latest concert in Canterlot, Vinyl and Octavia have to head back home to Ponyville. However, the Friendship Express wouldn’t take them home. The conductor told them that Ponyville was shut down. Not willing to be deterred, both of the musicians simply decide to walk back home.

Luckily, they know their way back since Canterlot isn’t too far from Ponyville, so it only took a few hours. When they got back however, everything was deserted. No life echoed in the town, sending chills down their spines. Trembling, both Octavia and Vinyl went up to Twilight’s castle to seek answers.

Octavia knocked on the door, calling for the princess of friendship. Somepony did respond and creaked the door open, but it wasn’t the pony they were looking for. Starlight peered out from the other side. Darkness made it hard to get a good look at her. Both of the musicians sigh, but their comfort didn’t last long.

Starlight flung the door open and as the light shines on her, Vinyl and Octavia realized that something was wrong. The unicorn has a long, black grin on her face and her eyes are sunken in. Her hooves were cracked and broken which made them look like long, sharp claws. Strangely, she walked on her back legs, not on all fours.

She immediately rushed towards them, swinging her long limbs. The musicians ran away from the twisted pony. Eventually, Starlight exhausted herself and headed back to her territory. Octavia and Vinyl found themselves in a state of panic and confusion. Luckily, they found a letter meant for Fluttershy right outside of her cottage.

In that letter, Pinkie wrote to her girlfriend and tells her that she hopes that she can hang in there until Twilight can finish making a cure. It tells them that there has been an infection going around and Ponyville is in quarantine. The virus is known as the Animagus virus.

The Crystal Empire was the safest place to go, so they knew what they had to do. Octavia and Vinyl carefully gathered supplies and embarked on a long and dangerous journey. Shortly into their journey, Vinyl heard the whimpering of a filly in agony. Cautiously, She shuffled through the bushes to find the pained pony.

There she found Scootaloo, whimpering and crying in pain. She was clearly infected, but she strangely wasn’t aggressive. Vinyl and Octavia debated on taking her alone with them. Octavia was scared that she might infect one of them, while Vinyl knew that she wouldn’t attack and wanted to take her to help her.

They decided to take her with. Bandages covered the filly’s body as she rested on Vinyl’s back. Scootaloo clutched onto them, hoping that they can get her to safety. What dangers will they encounter next? What even is this virus and how does it work? Most importantly, can they get to the Crystal Empire before Scootaloo’s body gives up fighting?

My personal MLP lore:

I have a lot of ships and lore that I personally have. I have been working on making my fics fit for publishing on fanfic sites, but for now:

Rainbow X AppleJack. They live together on the farm but are both very independent in the relationship as RD runs the Wonderbolts and AJ manages the harvest with occasional assistance from Apple Bloom & Co

Big Mac /Orchard Blossom = She / Her Trans Fem

Starlight X Trixie X Sunburst: Starlight and Trixie are romantically in love and they platonically love Sunburst as their QPP. It's a Queer platonic Polycule.

Sunburst = He/Him Trans Masc

Fluttershy X Discord: After realizing their own love decide to play match maker with all of their friends. Who are clearly in love but too nervous to make a move. Discord naturally plans very chaotic meet-cute scenarios while Flutters reels him back into a more subtle approach.

Chrysalis becomes somewhat reformed after she is displaced as ruler of the Changelings she is forced to figure out who she is on her own.

Twilight X Rarity: I can't explain it better than autistic girls love shiny things and they are both shiny things. They live together in the castle and Rarity travels with Twilight to canterlot and back for royal duties as well as check on her boutiques.

mlp episode where during a harsh winter a waifish orphan twilight becomes celestia's student, only for food and shelter at first, but soon learns more and more powerful magic from her, taking to it quickly and greatly enjoying her abilities, but growing suspicious of the untimely deaths of two of her friends on consecutive neigh year's eves until she discovers the terrible truth that a pony sacrifice must be made to the farrier each year in exchange for their powers. determined to free herself and the others, she trains in secret to challenge her master to a battle to the death, but is found out sneaking into the princess' chambers to read the bleeding tome and learn the most gruesome spells by celestia's enchanted eyeball that lays on the table. however, celestia surprises her with the revelation that she has known about her endeavours all along and was very pleased to watch her student's developing prowess in the dark arts, declaring her to be the very best of her hoofpicked herd, even offering to step down and let her take over her place in the contract and become the new princess, with all the enticing power this entails. twilight seems to waver for a moment, lured by the prospect of a life without cold or hunger, before refocusing on the price that would have to be paid each year. with the help of an unnamed filly from a nearby town, who passes a crooked test set up by the princess, they defeat her and break the seal, walking away into a once more free, but nonetheless uncertain future, as canterlot castle burns behind them.

now im curious. what are your favorite and least favorite g4 episodes, and in a similar vein, your favorite and least favorite g4 characters

i won’t elaborate on all of them because it’s just like. way too much lol there’s so many episodes in characters but LET’S GO

favorite characters: TWILIEEE, I like all of the mane 6 but she’s my girlie, the royal sisters, trixie, maud, sunset, starlight as a villain (she should’ve stayed a bad guy she’s so FUN! a villain who’s power is her words)

least favorite: neighsay, star swirl (the pillars are all just boring as hell honestly), the wonderbolts (seriously? why do they all suck?), “reformed” starlight, maud’s Sheldon cooper boring boyfriend, daring do (i don’t care for the implications of her character), discord (sort of? in canon, because i adore him conceptually and also occasionally. he’s so fun when he’s not awful

not a strong attachment but yona is also really cute, i just think her design is ridiculously adorable and also love her va’s delivery. very funny

For episodes, there’s quite a few but I’ll try and limit myself per season! There’s are ones that I just find the most comfort and enjoyment out of, I like other episodes but these are what really stand out.

Favorite episodes:

season one: ticket master, look before you sleep, winter wrap up, suited for success (a fantastic episode that really made mlp stand out!), and best night ever

season two: return of harmony & canterlot wedding, lesson zero, hearth’s warming eve, hurricane fluttershy,

season three: sleepless in ponyville, wonderbolt academy, magical mystery cure

season four: pinkie pride, it ain’t easy being breezies (ty for a fluttershy episode that breaks away from the usual plot), maud pie, twilight’s kingdom

season five: the cutie map (yay villain starlight!), castle sweet castle, make new friends but keep discord, canterlot boutique, crusaders of the lost mark

season six: a hearth’s warming tale (minus the shaky introduction, the songs are soooo so good), the times they are a changeling, to where and back again (I know I complain about the treatment of Chryssie and those ugly Changeling designs but it’s a solid shakeup from the status quo and sells me more on Starlight as a character)

season seven: parental glideance, discordant harmony, perfect pear, it isn’t the mane thing about you

season eight: horse play, sounds of silence (i just like the kirin’s designs lol)

season nine: she’s all yak, between dark and dawn, the last problem

Least favorite episodes vary between i don’t like this for personal reasons and I don’t like this for obvious reasons:

season one: bridle gossip, over a barrel,

season two: a friend in deed, putting your hood down, dragon quest,

season three: none i really hate? more neutral or positive feeling tbh

season four: three’s a crowd, trade ya

season five: slice of life (it’s just a bit too much, even for a guilty pleasure episode), party pooped, amending fences, brotherhood social, what about discord,

season six: newbie dash (this one is just plain mean), spice up your life (so bad it’s good. rarity is wildly out of character, the main antagonist is a straw man, and so on. kind of in a disbelief at how much this episode doesn’t work lol), stranger than fanfic and honestly every daring do episode, every little thing she does (not selling me on that redemption pony show!)

season seven: flurry of emotions, hard to say anything and really any fucking sugar belle/Big Mac episode, a royal problem (IT SHOULDVE BEEN TWIIILLGFIITHTHR FOAMING AT THE MOUTH THEY TOOK HER FUCKJNG EOISODE), fame and misfortune (“we’re REAL ponies” says the purple horse written by grown adults), once upon a zeppelin (far too mean of an episode for me), shadow play (for the crime of being boring)

season eight: school daze and school raze, fake it til you make it, the break up break down (hate these types of plots), a matter of principals, a rockhoof and a hard place,

season nine: a trivial pursuit, dragon dropped, a horse shoe-in, the ending of the end

“The Unicorn Conundrum” - By Freddo

SFX: Sound of magic being used while Twilight Sparkle hums a song (maybe the DW who or MLP theme), suddenly a knock on the door!

Twilight: Just a second! (Sound of hoofsteps hurrying to the door and opening it)

The Doctor: Hello! Sorry I uhhh.

Twilight: Oh hello…Clockwork right?

The Doctor: Uuuh…yes, yes…Clockwork that’s me?

Twilight: (lets out a light chuckle) Yes! I remember you from a week back, hearts and hooves day, sleepy Clockwork!

The Doctor: (confusion in his voice) Sleepy…?

Twilight: (Slight confusion in her tone) Yes, you said you were Narcoleptic?

The Doctor: Ooooh….riiiiight…Anyway! I remembered I still had those Lewis Carrot books you gave me, I only just remembered I still had them!

Twilight: Aww (Laughs) it’s ok, like I said it’s always nice to see a couple rea-

The Doctor: (cuts her off with a slight embarrassed tone) Woah! C-c-couple wh-hat are you talking about??

Twilight: (again with confusion in her voice) Uhh, Ditzy you’re special somepo-

The Doctor: (cuts her off again with a even more embarrassed tone) OH! No, no, m-me and Miss H-hooves are friends! Strictly friends, nothing more, nothing less!

SFX: A awkward silence fills the air for atleast 5 seconds, sounds of the old library creaking in the background.

Twilight: (Clears her throat) So uuuhh…the books?

The Doctor: Books……..Ah yes, books, right silly me!

SFX: Sound of the books being handed over.

The Doctor: Well since I’m here, I hope you don’t mind if I take a look at a few more books? Still have a feeling there are things I can learn about equestrian and all it’s wonderful wonderous….things.

Twilight: Well of course, but if you take any make sure to let me know first! (the sound of her trotting away.) Right then time to get the paperwork for these done.. (sounds of her magic powering up then the sound of quill on paper.)

The Doctor: (Sound of him trotting through the bookcases, picking out books and skim reading them) No, that didn’t happen. Oh yes, I remember that. It didn’t happen like that…oh… (SFX stop)

The Doctor: (Sound of him picking out a heavy sounding book).

Twilight: Oh that one, The Unicorn Conundrum, big biological study of Unicorns, still holds up to this day it’s still taught in schools, it was a big part of my education! They said the author was ahead of their time!

The Doctor: Really? (SFX of the book being opened) Who was the author then? I don’t see their name.

Twilight: That’s because we don’t know, they never released a name it was just…found the Canterlot castle’s grand library about three hundred and eighteen years ago, sitting on a random desk.

The Doctor: (Joy in his voice) Ah yes! A mystery, I love a good mystery, maybe it’s hidden in the book, like an anagram?

Twilight: Maybe? But I doubt it, many ponies have combed through that book, although I don’t think any were looking for the authors name as some sort puzzle?....Clockwork why are you pulling a face?

The Doctor: (slight edge but also confusion to his tone) Because…I don’t think the ponies who went through this book knew what they were looking for, the signs are all there, it’s a code. I know who wrote this book.

Twilight: Well then, please do enlighten me.

(SFX of the Doctor trotting away and ruffling through paper, Twilights paperwork from earlier)

Twilight: (slight annoyance building up in her tone) Hey, I had those sorted perfectly and they are private, you can just snoop through all of that, it could have personal information!

The Doctor: (Low) I was wondering when some of that uptight snootle was going to start showing itself.

Twilight: (offended) I’m sorry??

The Doctor: (starts speaking like a giddy child) Oooh, that’s good. That’s really good oh time travel, I could kill you because even I don’t understand you but I also LOVE it when you do this!!

Twilight: Could you please explain yourself Clockwork, are you ok? Have you been on saltlicks?

The Doctor: Ok listen, I don’t have time to explain this to you. I need you to write this book.

Twilight: (Confusion in her voice) You…want me to write…a book?

The Doctor: Not just any book! The unicorn conundrum, look! The hand writing, it’s VERY, VERY similar!

Twilight: (sound of her trotting over and picked up a piece of paper) Ok…I don’t know how I never noticed that, and I see what you mean but it isn’t definitive proof Clockwork!

The Doctor: Well this, is where the interesting bit comes in (sound of him turning pages of the book) There are only fifteen letters…FIFTEEN LETTERS in this over five hundred page book! And I think we both know what they spell out.

Twilight: (Sound of her snatching the book out of the Doctors hooves and quickly skimming through the pages before silence falls for a few seconds) Twilight Sparkle…. By Celestia, this…this must be some sort of joke, right? You have my original hidden somewhere and replaced it with this!

The Doctor: Nope! Time travel, oooh such a funny thing. This is what we call a bootstrap paradox. Funny thing it is.

Twilight: (lets out a long sigh) Time….travel….bootstrap paradox? I-I….this must be a dream.

The Doctor: Oh come on now, I have heard about all the stuff you have seen and done, and you find this unbelievable… (he tuts)

Twilight: Now hold on, i-

The Doctor: (Cuts her off) Yeah, yeah whatever you were about to say..no. You have a book to write!

Twilight: (beyond confused at this point) But, i-I b-b-b-but ha-

The Doctor: (cuts her off again) Come on Miss Sparkle! Time is of the essence!

Twilight: I-I (she stops and takes in a biiiig breath) Ok….ok, fine. (Sound of her trotting away.)

The Doctor: Well that was easy, I thought that would take more convincing.

SFX: (Sound of Twilight writing for half a minute, muttering random things, showing the passage of time as she rewrites the ENTIRE book)

The Doctor: (Flicking through more books) Huh, I guess that’s why they don’t eat bacon..

Twilight: Ummm…Clockwork?

The Doctor: (sound of him closing the door and putting it back) Ah hello Miss Sparkle! Did you finish the book?

Twilight: Uhuh..? (Sound FX of her giving the book to the Doctor.)

The Doctor: (SFX of the book opening and pages scrolling quickly) Absolutely spot on! Well done Miss Sparkle, now time to get it delivered.

Twilight: Yeah…that’s why I even did this, I want to know how you plan going back three hundred and eighteen years?

The Doctor: (Lets out a chuckle) Well, c’mon! I’ll show you, Avante!

(SFX scene transition)

Twilight: A box…?

The Doctor: Yep! My TARDIS, I’ll explain it all later, we better go before my friends come, they are out card hunting. (SFX of the doors opening)

Twilight: Card huntin-oh by….i-i.

The Doctor: (SFX of him pressing buttons) Yes, I know. Go on say it!

Twilight: It’s dimensions on the outside are significantly smaller!

The Doctor: (alittle deflated) Oh…well yeah, that’s a way you can put it….i guess…

Twilight: This is so fasinat-

(She is cut off as the TARDIS takes off and starts to shake)

The Doctor: Oh yeah, I should of told you, hold on!

Twilight: I’m tryiiiing!!!

SFX: (The TARDIS lands and settles)

The Doctor: (presses a few buttons) Come on.. (SFX of him hitting the monitor, the monitor bleeps and loads from static) Ah, perfect, right on time. Three hundred and eighteen years in your past, the night the book is found!

Twilight: (Trots over to the door and opens it) w-we moved, it’s night time…it was only three thirty in the afternoon when we left!

The Doctor: Yeeep. Now, go and stick the book in the place they found it.

Twilight: (starts taking a few trots but stops, in a more hushed tone) Wait, why couldn’t you do this?

The Doctor: (in a hushed tone) Because I don’t know exactly where I found it, also I’m not connected persay to this whole mess like you are, now go on!

Twilight: (lets out a sigh and trots away, sfx of her speeding up as distance voices and trots of guards approach, she quickly places the book down and gallops back into the TARDIS.)

The Doctor: (closes the doors) Alright, well done back home! (SFX of him trotting over to the console and pressing buttons, pulling levers, TARDIS comes to life once more, taking off.)

Twilight: That was…woah…that was just….wow, just wow. Wait, hold on, if I wrote that book…then, when did I get the inspiration in the first place to write it for the exact first time??

The Doctor: (Bursts out laughing) Oh trust me, don’t go thinking about that. It will hurt your brain, time travel, it’s a funny thing it just does things like this, I’m not sure why, but it just does….oh speaking of thinking…and remembering.

(SFX of him trotting over to twilight)

Twilight: Uhhh, why are you trying to place your hooves on my forehead?

The Doctor: O-o-oh I uhh….well you see, since you know abour me, and the TARDIS now, I should give you the rest of the information it’s a uhhh…magic thing, yes!

Twilight: (lets out a little sigh) Alright then, just get it over with.

The Doctor: (SFX of him placing his hooves on her forehead.) Sorry about this, but I don’t think it’s the best idea you remember this little outing..

Twilight: Ughhh… (sfx of her passing out and slumping onto the ground)

The Doctor: I am sorry, don’t worry, you’ll be as right as rain when we get you home… (SFX of the TARDIS drones out.)

Twilight: (Groans) Oh my head…what happened? (SFX of her magic and the clicking of a approaching clock) Forty minutes past three? Wow I must of fell asleep.. (she yawns).

SFX: Twilight getting up from the desk she was sleeping on and trotting until she stops)

Twilight: Oh, I must have left the Unicorn Conundrum up (SFX of her horn powering up and picking up the “original”) Funny…I really feel like I forgot something… (SFX of her putting the book back) Oh well, I’m sure I’ll remember at somepoint….

MLP Rewrite Sweet and Elite (Wait, did you do this one already?)

Fuck if I know we did a bunch back in the day

I think the two main things would be

1.) Rarity doesn't directly lie so much as says something and lets others assume.

and 2.) The Mane 6 are actually recognized for being the ponies that saved Equestria. Like, the fancy ponies realized Rarity was important due to staying in the castle, but didn't immediately connect why.

But they do recognize Twilight on sight, since she is from Canterlot and is Celestia's student so they've seen her. And then because they know Twilight was one of the group they connect the dots on Rarity and the others.

1. princess cadance - sidenote i prided myself as a child about being able to spell her name right? merchandise would spell it wrong and i thought i was sooo cool. okay anyway i think she's so lovely, her episodes are the best and i think a canterlot wedding is one of the best 2 parters Ever. they outdid themselves there, plus i believe the first mlp thing i ever saw was when it was airing (this and winter wrap up i definitely saw when they aired, but then i went and started from the beginning on netflix i think. fuzzy memory) she's lovecore and sooo sweet and she has the prettiest voice and i love her design..her purple gradient wings are Everything. sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake <333

2. applejack - i love big sibling characters this is very obvious anyway OUGH i love her element, i think it was characterized really well and she's so caring. apple family episodes make me nostalgic and i REALLY love her rivalry with rainbow dash. i dont think they tokenized her honesty i think it was natural and fun and also shes so pretty Love her design. thank you ashleigh ball for your genius

3. the CMC - putting them all because i genuinely cant pick one on her own if that makes sense. i love sweetie belle and think she's really relatable, for whom the sweetie belle toils is one of the Best mlp episodes ever and i stand by it. her learning that not knowing the full story can lead to dangerous assumptions and impulsive behavior is uh. yeah. <3 also her singing is soooo beautiful michelle creber i looove you. theyre all relatable actually, scootaloo oughfh i know exactly what it's like not being able to do something because of being disabled and god. flight to the finish is a heartbreaking episode because she's just pushing herself nonstop to try and achieve something she'll never be able to. and her relationship with rainbow dash also means everything to me, DUDE. "i'm so proud of you little buddy" in we'll make our mark is one of the lines that makes me Cry. the cmc getting their cutie marks DID make me cry and continues to. I LOVE APPLE BLOOM i used to voice her in my little voice acting friend group when i was 13! she's still fun to do a voice for, once again i adore michelle creber! her leadership skills are so cool i always got the sense that she wanted to be like AJ while also very much valuing her individuality. she's intuitive and she vents out her frustrations and i think she's really well written. the duos in the cmc is also really interesting to me.. apple bloom and scootaloo wanting to cause trouble while sweetie belle is their one voice of reason is one of my favorite dynamica. it's a mess, theyre a mess. but theyre also kids and should be allowed to be a mess, theyre wonderful characters. also they have the best songs truly

4. twilight - i dont think i realized how much i liked and related to twilight until like, 2020. i think she's a really good protagonist and i personally had no issue with her getting wings. if u hate it that's cool but im built different. her special interest in reading/learning is soooo good and her hyperlexia coming in handy when they needed to gain information fast was always cool to see. the crystal empire episodes are amazing oh my god i remember watching the pilot to season 3 and losing my MIND king sombra felt Very high stakes and i get heavy nostalgia from any mlp episode with snow in it. i think twilight sacrificing herself is a very important trait in her, because she'd do it a thousand times if it meant saving and protecting others. she's a really good teacher and i really liked the episode where she helps the cmc with their hobbies!! also her getting RD into books is everything. i love twilight i love her conversations with spike, i love that she kinda goes insane sometimes. i love owlicious and her tree library (i dont really like her castle. it's pretty but doesnt feel very . home to me..make this castle a home felt like the writers knew my thoughts HDJSHDJ)

5. rainbow dash - aha okay so RD was my favorite my entire childhood and i think i was justified on that. she's so cool and adhd of all time, but i think at some point i just found more joy in when characters are really thoughtful. not to say she isnt thoughtful, but she's a bit airheaded. ive Loved the wonderbolts costume for as long as i can remember i think it's very gender. also RD's friendship with everyone is important to me. i love that she's able to pull fluttershy out of her shell, i love that her and pinkie have the most energy out of everyone in the show (pinkie pride is a really good episode and also breaks my heart. pinkie pie RSD episode of ever) fall weather friends is one of my favorite episodes, i could watch it over and over!! i love her and AJ's dynamic theyre so fun theyre so cool once again love ashleigh ball. her support for scootaloo makes me weep, the way she cares for tank also puts me in tears. i love her design I LOVE THE WHOLE LORE WITH THE SONIC RAINBOOM. the fact the mane 6 are connected by this One event is bonkers and so rad. i think her loyalty could've been written better, but that's like my only real problem. sometimes the elements are just..not very real feeling cough cough rarity cough

sidenote i love like everyone in the show, mostly. i think discord is so entertaining and a disaster. his friendship with fluttershy is special. also luna ohhh luna is so lovely. her story makes me feel many emotions!! and i love sunset shimmer

Turning carefully, Princess Luna beheld a pegasus in the uniform of a brigadier general frozen in a fading green web of Kin's deep magic. He was in the act of making a grab at Princess Luna's right wing! In his left hand was a paper.

Luna's magic separated the paper from the general's still frozen hand. Unfolding it, she snorted in disbelief! At that moment, the general unfroze, as if he had not been stopped a few seconds ago!

Attempting to complete his aborted grab, he flailed somewhat before demanding, “Princess Luna! By the Order of the Ducal Council you are required by this Warrant to appear before them to answer to and carry out the requirements of the Council!”

Wrinkling his snout and curling his lip in disdain, he added, “This trivial publicity stunt is over! Let any remaining patients be dealt with by the Ponyville Medical Society. I have taken it upon myself to halt the next train at Circle Lake to return these foul catbirds to the Empire!”

Princess Luna spoke so mildly that the import of what she said took a moment to penetrate. “My good Guardsponies, I see that you are among the contingent that I left in Canterlot. Have you a prisoner transport net?”

The four armored pegassi replied, “We do, your Highness. We brought that and irons at the order of General Downs.”

“Good. Use them now to bind the wings of General Downs and put him in irons. Transport him back to Canterlot Castle and remand him to my Sister, Princess Celestia. Take with you the false Warrant that She may investigate the Ducal Council, who appear to have far overstepped their bounds.”

The General tried to struggle, but far too late! Luna's gentle looking midnight magic, shot through with stars, had him in a grip far stronger than mere iron! He was efficiently wing strapped and placed into manacles.

A Sargent of the Guards diffidently reported, “Your pardon, your Highness, but when he took us, he told us and signed us out for a training mission to Fort Everfree. Instead of going there, he led us here.”

“Very clear, Sargent Thorn. I have calls to make to undo what this ex general has done. Give me a moment, I will give you a specification of charges to give to my Sister Ruler.”

The Princess was writing with her magic on a sheet of imaging paper while her hands were tapping codes into her Magic Net mirror. Holding the mirror she spoke, without bothering with a privacy spell, “Circle Lake Royal Railroad terminus? This is Princess Luna, High Commissioner of the Royal Roads and Railroads. Recently you received orders from Brigadier General Downs. Those orders are canceled. The Special Train from the Gryphon Empire is to be given Express Engine number 207 and clear the mainlines between your terminus and Ponyville! Those earthquake victims need treatment as soon as possible. Thank you, Circle Lake.”

A different set of codes got, “Hi, Celestia! We have a situation. I am sending you a specification of charges against Brigadier General Downs, along with the General, in irons. There is also a Warrant that you will want to investigate. The Ducal Council has tried to Summon ME to appear before them and requiring Me to carry out Council Orders.

“I suspect the grimy horn of Duke Edgecliff in this. He has tried to annex the Barony of Sweetlawn before. He is after the “mineral rights” which we have already granted to the Diamond Dog Enclave of Blue Stone.

“I recommend letting Supreme Matriarch Amber of the Diamond Dog Council of Enclaves know, if that is the case. To handle it so that no other high mucka muck gets any ideas, give her explicit permission in writing to strike at Edgecliff Manor the diamond dog way! It should be fun to watch that happen!”

Smiling serenely, except for the minor nightmare touch of saber tooth fangs, she told the guards, “There, it is all set up. I have also authorized you four a twenty four hour rest leave with free access to Snack Kitchen Four when you return.”

Those Guards were gone so fast!

They were just finishing up the patient when Fluttershy interrupted, “I, um, we seem to have a gryphon here in respiratory distress.”

She was carrying the gasping gryphon in her arms. She added, “His chart shows that besides some major injuries, he complained of a sore throat. He might have a ruptured blood vessel leaking into his lungs.”

Luna just pointed to the table, “This is what a trauma hospital is all about! Let's get to it, team!”

As they were arraigning the patient on the table, Kin was explaining, “Lungs are very spongy, which makes them difficult to clear of matter like this. The best way that I know of is to move it out of the lung into the cavity by the shortest route. Once it is in the cavity around the lungs, we can remove it by our usual means for clearing bruises.”

Fluttershy, with no squeamishness at all, was placing catch basins and cloths to mop up blood as it came out through the skin and feathers.

Back in the Carousel, Rarity was now humming quietly to herself as she stored away dry goods in nice boxes of light, straw colored wood and put them onto shelves and into cupboards in her lovely new kitchen.

The magic of her horn was neatly feeding straw from a pile on the counter into the next growing box, where the straw was forming a light but strong woodlike substance. As soon as the snugly fitted lid was made, the straw fed into the box, becoming several kilos of finely powdered sugar.

As she was fitting the lid on and using her hands to put the confectioner's sugar on the shelf, a wide eyed Pinkie asked, “How can you do that? I mean, I know that Kin could and that Luna seems to have learned it from her, but you?”

Rarity smiled, eyes gone misty, as she gathered Pinkie into a hug. Pinkie returned the hug, luxuriating in the feel of Rarity's hands playing at the back of her neck and stroking down her spine. Rarity answered her, “I am still deeply upset, Pinkie. That does not mean unobservant. Kin and I are, as you know, quite close. Today was the first time that I got to see her doing that sort of thing, up close. Like the Princess, I learned. It is really quite soothing to do.”

Nuzzling Rarity's breast, Pinkie agreed, “So is this! Glad that you are feeling better some, Rare. How soon can we get started on costumes again?”

“As soon as the carpenter and plumber have the new tub installed. They are raising quite a bit of dust in their work.”

They were interrupted by the necessity to inspect and sign for the new glass door pane. Rarity stared at it in wonder, “That is amazing! A pair of phoenix rising from flames? What wonderful details in the scroll work of the clouds! This is worth every bit! Thank you!”
