Thinking after watching MI7 again that they could really be paralleling MI1 by slowly killing off the crew and leaving Ethan alone. First Ilsa, then maybe Benji because he was the focus of Kitteridge's speech and finally Luther because he's been there the longest and is on his own. Also extra plus if it's all a plan by Ilsa, Benji and Luther to help Ethan defeat the Entity by making it think they're dead so they can help him without it knowing.
how I feel rn knowing Dead Reckoning pt. 2 has officially been delayed which means I have to wait until 2025 to not only see the movie, but to write future Lil’ Hunt fics with a new character I’ve created and fallen in love with
I’m actually so sad like how tf am I meant to keep calm and carry on during all this??
Okay, okay, okay... I just came home from the Dead Reckoning pt.1 screening and hooooly sh*t... That was intense. I'm gonna need some time to process this. Especially that one scene 😶

Hello and Good Evening! Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 is the top contender with $80M. I’m not surprised…I knew instantly that this film was going to win the top spot. We wanna see Tom Cruise performs his latest stunts, right?
Meanwhile a new entry, Sound of Freedom, a drama/thriller dealing with child trafficking, is at the second spot with $85M. Let’s take a look at the…

okay! dead reckoning pt. 1 thoughts under the jump! obvi has spoilers.
well. okay. i didn't love this movie, as it felt a bit joyless, and it didn't have nearly enough benji and luther. that aside!
benji's answer to the riddle being the thing he cares about most is his friends?! fucking kill me. yes i will extrapolate that out to mean ethan is the most important thing to him.
the plot was basically age of ultron so idk man kinda meh.
if ilsa is REALLY dead, i'm going to revolt.
i am terrified for benji's life given that ending kitridge voice over saying something along the lines of "the closer you get to ethan, the more likely you are to die" while the camera lingered on benji looking out for ethan after jumping off the train.

as far as shipping goes, this movie didn't give us all that much, which is a shame. but really my biggest issue was how stressful it was, how miserable everyone seemed. i know the circumstances were dire, and the loss of ilsa was kind of a crushing blow to everyone, but idk. i'm a m:i girlie that loves the levity with moments of grief, not the other way around.
of course excited to see where it all ends when pt. 2 comes out, but yeah. these were my thoughts so far.
