I am @behindthebrickphoto and am a big fan of LEGO. Therefore, since 2021, I have started in the world of LEGO photography.

Ever since I was young, LEGO was my biggest hobby. After buying several LEGO modular sets I started researching what else was possible with the LEGO I collected over the years. This is how I came across LEGO photography on the internet. I created an instagram account and started photographing LEGO.

I'm Ray, aka @leftoverbricks here on Tumblr, and leftoverlego original account on insta, and Rubik on Discord, lol maybe a bit of an identity crisis. I'm an #afol, have been for years, partial to minifigures and enjoy taking my sigfig for a stroll, and making a sigfig for the whole family, oh and "borrowing" the kids sets when the creative sparks come.

I used to exclusively do mobile photography because I always had it with me, but a few months ago I purchased my first mirrorless camera, I'm ready to learn. I really love the @brickcentral community for the tutorials, challenges, and all around community, it's really be inspiring and encouraging me to play with light, exposures, etc. trying to do more in camera than over edit.

WE GOT MARRIED 💍

We recreated some of our wedding photos in LEGO

FLOATION An entry to #bc_classicthemes on @brickcentral. This image 'floated' in my head for a while. I just lacked the time to create it in the right way. I had fun building several 'panels' with tubes, keyboards and small pieces. Placing everything in the frame, moving all the panels in the right place and positioning the potion bottle and the fig was a lot of trial and error. But in the end I like the overall look. I hope you'll agree :-) I love the isolation of this classic space minifig. Is he stranded in space? What's up with the potion? Is it his way to cope with his solitude? What's sure is that he lost his grab on the potion flask and now he and the bottle are floating around in zero gravity.
