I'm Four Bricks Tall and I'm a photographer living in Spain currently.
I've been shooting LEGO minifigs and models since 2013. I started right here on Tumblr as Ogle My Lego but then changed to Four Bricks Tall because I couldn't have "Lego" in my domain name.
So being here again feels like home. This place and Twitter feel like the good old days before Instagram, and everyone chasing likes and followers there.
I like trivia and LEGO so that's kind of the reason why I chose my username: the height of a minifig is four bricks tall.
My favorite themes in general are medieval fantasy and castle, steampunk, and apocalypse.
I have professional experience as a photographer and I teach some of the stuff I know to toy photographers. I really love watching people develop their skills. It's great to see someone grow their skills month after month.
I'm a LEGO Community Ambassador of @brickcentral too. That's just a fancy title to say I am the representative of BrickCentral to The LEGO Group. It's a lot of paperwork 🤣

Exploring a new World
Hey 👋 everyone and welcome on my tumblr!
I’m Joschka a hobby photographer from Germany and i’m in the world of LEGO photography since 2021.
As child LEGO was my toy of choice and i never forgot it completely, but my final comeback was Christmas 2020 when my wife gave me the LEGO Treehouse set. This was the beginning of my journey deep inside the world of LEGO again.
Just a few days later i discovered people who shoots awesome pictures of the Treehouse set (and of course many other sets too) and i was hooked. I reactivated my Instagram account and joined the world of LEGO photography.
Over the last year and a half i have learned many new things and met a lot of great people.

Worked some more on sanding my EG Lah Gundam! I’m putting this project on hold for the time being as I’d like to seal up those seam lines on the legs with some modeling cement (which I don’t have and need to get). So for now he’s on the back burner and I’m moving on to another one!

Hello, I’m glowingbrickette!
I'm a toy photographer and artist living in the Seattle area. I started toy photography in 2019 on Instagram. My favorite LEGO characters are the cartoon-based ones, like Winnie the Pooh and Mickey, but I also like superheroes and Star Wars.
Combining art with my photography allows me to create in multiple ways. Lately, I've been creating sculptures and painting them for my nature environments. I really enjoy making little worlds for my tiny plastic friends to live in. Reading and cooking are also my hobbies.

The task is to present our work and take portraits of ourselves and our sigfigs. 📸
Here's a little bit about myself:
My name is Zoran and I'm social media and community manager, working at the university.
I started doing photography in 2014, mostly taking pictures of nature and the urban environment.
I became interested in toy photography at the beginning of 2021.
I guess it's obvious that LEGO is my favorite toy line. 😄

My name is Metarix and I am an AFOL (adult fan of LEGO) from Chicago! I’ve been an avid LEGO builder since the age of 4 and have been a Lego photographer for around 7 years now!
Some of my favorite LEGO themes that I enjoy to build and photography are, Lego Superheroes 🦸♂️ and Lego Castle 🏰. I also enjoy creating original stories of my own. I currently have a medieval fantasy adventure story, Age of Wonders going on my Instagram, which will surely be posted here too!

Hello! I'm The Brickdwarf. I chose that name and this SigFig because at first when I started photographing Lego I would mostly shoot Dwarfs. Dwarfs are my favorite fantasy race, whether I read a book, play a game or watch a movie or a series. Why? I might get into that some other time.
I live in Finland, close to the forest and the sea. I take most of my pictures outdoors.
I started taking photos of Lego around 2017, pretty casually at first but around 2019 I was taking pictures almost every day.
I also enjoy building with Lego, usually quite small builds but by now I have enough Lego bricks to start building on my big dream project. A dwarven underground city.

Hi! I'm Alicia, also known as taskera online. I'm a Spanish AFOL living in Germany.
I love to shoot outdoor scenes indoors, although I'm starting to try my hand at making MOCs as well. During the lock-down I started to create my own landscapes on a table, dreaming of nature. I enjoy very much creating the dioramas and preparing a story to shoot, from accessories to special effects and lightning, almost as much as actually taking and processing the image.
I'm always learning and trying something new, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, but I'm happy to say I'll be the eternal student!

Hello everyone!
My turn to introduce myself for those who don't know me yet.
My name is Sarah, a 36-year-old mother and I live in Clermont-Ferrand in France.
As a kid, I loved taking pictures. I took my grandmother's old camera to photograph objects, landscapes but also my family. I never really stopped throughout my life.
It was in 2014 that I started Lego photography after attending an exhibition near my home. It was my first and I immediately fell back into childhood. From there, the passion returned and I started collecting some coins and some figurines with my husband because he too had caught the virus.
This was the subject of my very first photo. A photo of my husband and I that I took for fun. He liked it a lot and so I continued.
What I like about Lego photography is telling a story. Make them interact with our daily life. It's as if our world was a big dollhouse and the Legos lived in it.
But I also like to leave with a bag on my back to go and photograph them outside.

Hi to all ^_^
I'm Lady Brick and I'm AFOL and Toy Photographer from Spain.
I started taking photos of Wall·E, it reminds me of Johnny 5 and it's a lovely toy. The plastic toys don't complain about the time that I spend to take the perfect photo and help me to relax my mind.
I did some 52 Week projects with different non lego toys and finally in 2016 started With LEGO. Since this moment, I've got a bit addicted to their minifigs, accessories, themes,... I like to recreate comic situations that make people smile.
My Favorite themes in general are Star Wars, Zombies and Apocalypse, but I enjoy with all minifigs in general and I like to play with another themes like pirates, medieval,...

I'm Alice, 36, from Bonn in Germany. 🙋♀️
I love to take pictures of tiny LEGO minifigures and scenes. 📸 For me this is really relaxing. I can totally focus on what photo I want to achieve and forget about the world around me. ☺️
I started taking pictures almost two years ago and share them on instagram. First only with my phone and meanwhile I bought my first mirrorless camera. I still want to learn a lot about photography to achieve better results and most of all I want to have fun. 🤩
Also I really love to be part of an amazing afol and LEGO photographer community. Such an inspiring and supportive bunch of people! ❤️
Besides taking photos I live with my partner and my 17-year- old grandpa dog Tadé in Bonn. 👩🏼🤝👨🏻🐶 I'm a self-employed digital consultant and help companies with their digital strategy, business development and online marketing. 👩🏼💻
