Some of you may know I have a book on groundcovers coming out in February (more about that exciting news soon) and one of my fave uses of them is in miniature gardens like this one at @meadowlarkbotanicalgardens #gardendc #groundcovers #miniaturegarden #fairygarden #faeriegarden #picoftheday #nofilter #dmv (at Meadowlark Gardens Regional Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjvKe5QuEu4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
I wanted to create a cozy little corner for the fairies to come by (hopefully!) and have a little rest... and also I love succulents!
I wish I were small enough to sit on one of the little chairs and enjoy some supper on the little table... and -if it could ever be so- joined by a fairy friend.
We would perhaps exchange and share new affirmations... as we count the stars
🌚 I reclaim my power and embrace new beginnings
🌚 I invite all forms of abundance into my life
🌚 I allow love to fill me
🌚 I see my goals clearly and I feel the joy as if it has already manifested
🌚 I am open to all that serves my soul purpose
🌚 I forgive myself for the past
🌚 I have the power to shape my reality
Blessed be and wishing you a most delightful time during the new moon!
The world of comics started the obsession with little creatures, Walt Disney, and the use of Pixie characters for cartoons, everyone will still remember the Cinderella story. Perhaps you prefer Tinker Bell in the Peter Pan tales. The miniature has always fascinated everyone, particularly women and children. This has also transformed into the fine art of miniature gardening.
The lack of space or abundance of the same doesn’t impede miniature gardening; imagine having all of your gardens in a single flower vase, yes, small gardening makes that possible. Inexpensive and untouchable by the elements of weather, miniature gardens can be started in any form of cheap container.
No space, no problems, you can always have your garden lush when you want it. Start small and get to the height you intend to. Here are the favorite miniature garden inspirations that can help you reach yours started:
The fairy garden is my fave spot at @meadowlarkbotanicalgardens - aside from the adorable miniatures, I live all the creative uses of groundcovers there. #gardendc #groundcovers #fairygarden #fairiegarden #miniaturegarden #publicgarden #picoftheday #nofilter (at Meadowlark Gardens Regional Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiNSTG9OMUO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
