Lance leaned down and gently picked the Mimiqueue up off the ground.

He paused for a moment looking to where Keith was laughing surrounded by people and proudly holding his Pikachu.
“You know what, I don’t think we’re just pale imitations or second best, I think we’re exactly who we need to be and that we’re pretty awesome”
Lance starts to shave ever so slightly as his friends walk away not even noticing he wasn’t with them.
“Sure is lonely to be us huh... maybe if I dressed like Keith I could be loved too.”

Isn't sure what to think when his s/o tells him they're a professor but supports them either way
Always brings back pokémon for his s/o so they can do their research
Often battles with them to help them with different type matchups
Also double battles with them at the battle tree
Always tells the grunts to catch pokémon for your research
Always watches you when you’re working
If you’re afraid of bug types (which is extremely inconvenient when comes to your job being a professor and all) then he will help you work with them and calms you down when you get too anxious
Will sometimes steal your lab coat whenever it gets dirty to wash it
Loves it when ramble on and on about your work and often will get as excited as you
