Mercury's going retrograde this September 9 to October 1, 2022. Expect delays, miscommunication, forgotten items, and haywire mental activity. Because mercury rules the mind, communication, travel, and contracts, be especially mindful when engaging in anything related to these themes.

Choose your words carefully. Think twice before you speak, ensure that your words are amicable or at the very least, respectful. Be careful of mouthing off words you don't even mean, as this mercury is in Libra, the sign of partnerships and relationships, so your words can have double the effect on others. You don't want to unintentionally burn down bridges and friendships.

Double, triple, quadruple check everything. Before you leave, do you have your keys, wallet, phone, alcohol, other essentials? Yeah? Check it again. Meeting with a client? Prepare your materials a week in advance, double check 5 days before, triple check 3 days before and as a last measure, check it again the night before you meet your client. Things can go awry and we tend to overlook things so easily.

Slow down and be mindful. Don't rush. Provide ample time for each step you need to take and really pay attention to what's in front of you.

Last night, before my coworker left to meet someone, she brought with her all her items including her water bottle, meds, and whatnot. Also prepared the electrical breaker the client needed. Guess what? Turns out her water bottle was with her, but it wasn't filled with any water at all. She brought meds for the wrong time of the day, and the breaker she brought was the wrong volts. She could have caused a big electrical explosion had they not caught the difference in voltage!
