Today I tried to this recipe. It one was easy to make.
It was mild flavoured and soo crispy.
I couldn't decide to this recipe is a salt or a sweet biscuit. It was more salty as a sweet biscuit but more sweet as a salt biscuit. I used 1 cup of sugar instead of ½ cup.
Next time I will try with less salt.
Overall I really liked it.

I've been binging Batman Beyond recently (Terry ily so much) and thought about how- bc of the JLU twist which I think isn't even canon to the comics BB verse but shhh bare with me- he'd technically be Damian's half brother??? Which is just so ridiculously soap opera to me. I need them to interact in a silly time travel adventure so bad you don't even understand (ID in alt)

Flat fuck Friday birthday cake
Dinner was at a Hungarian restaurant so of course I got the chicken paprika, while mother got a chicken roulade stuffed with cream cheese and herbs, while dad got a pancake stuffed with minced beef that's completely smothered with a creamy paprika sauce and sour cream.
(there was appetizers of pita bread, hummus, roasted eggplant, tzatziki, crudites, sweet potato fries, salad but uuuuhhh we descended upon it like.locists because it took us 40 minutes to get into downtown instead of 25)

last night in the pub after the anti terf protests I was talking to this guy whose PhD was in I think linguistic constructions around gender? the phenomenology of gender? idk I was quite drunk and it was very loud. anyway we were talking about defining gender identity and he was increasingly enthusiastically going STOP. SHUT UP. I HEARD PEOPLE SAYING THE EXACT SAME STUFF AT A GENDER CONFERENCE LAST WEEK. YOU'RE ON THE CUTTING EDGE OF CONTEMPORARY FEMINIST THOUGHT WHY ARE YOU NOT DOING A PHD????
and I was like first of all ayyyyy ✌️😘 second of all pal you expect me to like. Justify my thoughts academically? I've met doctoral candidates you bitches are all miserable. and third literally all I was actually saying was stuff like 'there are different definitions of womanhood that are useful in different contexts' and 'there are different meanings to gender in a social and in an individual context' and 'in a lot of liberationist contexts "person who experiences misogyny" is the most useful definition, but aside from finetuning what that actually means and how it relates to people who are subject to misogyny but don't consider themselves women etc, where does that leave us in imagining a post-oppressive womanhood if we don't fill in subscribe to a gender abolitionist standpoint, which I don't, because I like being a woman and find joy in it' and like. all of those are not Deeply Considered Academic Theories as much as they're Having Thought About My Experiences In The World
so I mean fair play bc I do think it's a good sign if your academic theory is something that a layman can come to on their own terms. imo the job of academics is not to invent theory but to codify it and make it explicit and specific. so like if your theory is reflected in where people outside academic philosophy end up that's probably a positive. same as Marx right, like Marx didn't invent the idea of capitalist alienation or collective action but he did codify it and make it easier to build off.
Like I appreciate this. I appreciate when we can recognise that a theory that people NEVER come to outside academia is probably. not a very useful theory.

@littleblackqrow sent: ❛ pride is not the opposite of shame, but rather its source. true humility is the only antidote to shame. ❜

James just stared not amused for a longer moment, not entirely sure if Qrow was trying to joke or not.
"Well, I suppose it checks out with you having neither, am I right?"

Spices From the West. character guide: TOMOYA.
LIKES, GIVE: 1.- it’s similar to their specialty. loves the soft texture, tomoya is a big fan of lightly sweet things as this. 2 and 3.- simple, fresh, and easy to cook. The flavour is just right, not exceeding nor lacking.
❝ Mm, a field of FLOWERS has bloomed in my tongue with a single bite. It feels like SPRING all over again !! ❞ ❝ MEOW ~ ❞ ❝ W - wait, Tama !! Don’t eat all of it in one go, leave some for me too ! ❞
NEUTRAL, GIVE: salad, fried / grilled food, steak, soup, etc.
❝ It’s evident you are good at this. We shouldn’t waste any of it. I know ! Let me take some of the leftovers for my travels. ❞
DISLIKES, GIVE: 1.- hates mint in general, mainly when it’s the main ingredient. 2 and 3.- their palate is not used to extremely flavoured dishes.
❝ There’s a STORM of FLAVOURS in my mouth that I can’t exactly describe. . . ❞ GULP. ❝ I really hope it doesn’t last for long . . . ❞

what is wrong with this week. this is like the 3rd night when I can’t sleep bc every time I think I’m about to fall asleep I get a shot of adrenaline leaving me wide awake, heart pounding, and filled with anxiety. and that’s not counting the absolute crisis I went through that time I somehow stressed my way into imagining something happened to my sister.

What kind of drinks do you guys think Darla would like?
Sometimes I see her as the sugary, fruity cocktail kinda gal. But I also could see her being the Manhattan type. Maybe it depends on the quality of the alcohol and the vibe of the night.
As far as wines go, I think she'd like both white and reds - as long as they're decent quality. Black fruit flavours in reds, maybe stone fruit for whites (?). Idk, she's a hard girl to pin down but for some reason I do think she'd prefer more fruit forward wines.

hehe yeah it’s actually kinda funny how sensitive colombians are to spicy food. my coworker was sweating and fanning herself from the blue takis. incredible.
Youre right, spicy is very prominent in Peruvian food and Mexican food afaik (if youre Latino and your country too add on cus im talking off the top of my memory) but not in Colombian food. I mean we have a spicy sauce and dip that people add to lots of things (potatoes, soup, empanadas) but its just not comparable to the stuff in Mexico/Peru.
I have a Colombian friend who lives in Mexico rn and its been very entertaining to talk to her about the process of becoming immune to the food LOL I have never tried takis actually they dont sell them in Colombia and hubby said he hated em so I have no opinion on that but I have fanned myself like that before so i get it fully I'm a pussy when it comes to spicy food
Tho there is the odd badass. My grandfather ate chillis off a plant my grandma grew in a pot in my childhood home... Straight up picked em and ate them raw dipping them in salt. Idk how he did that

Spare blood, queen? 🥺👉👈
@laceratiio asked permission at least!
"Spare blood? Oh I don't know, I'm using it all right now, I'm afraid."
Deadpan response is light teasing sarcasm of course, for she's already rolling up a sleeve moments later. Bracelet is slid down to join it, baring a now-unadorned wrist which is then extended in Astarion's direction. "But then, perhaps I'm willing to make sacrifices for a friend in need! You'll carry my backpack after, right?"
