Could you do a Jacob x child reader where he finds the kid one night out in the rain, both their parents are dead and they just escaped the orphanage. I was thinking their age would be 4-5? We need more fluffy cute angsty dad Jacob 😭

The loud bustling noises of London rarely stopped, and that is what excited Jacob most about the city. The countryside had its perks, and the town where he studied in the US was fun, but to Jacob, almost nothing could outshine London. The people here were unique as well, and every interaction was on some level of entertaining. It’s what kept Jacob Frye on his toes.

After a training session, Jacob was just arriving at his home, turning the corner to his house, sweaty from the walk and The London Underground, he saw a woman holding something in her arms, glancing around. He didn’t think much of it, and would have continued past her if she hadn’t stopped him.

“Excuse me sir, can you help me?”

Jacob stopped and turned towards her, “What is it?” He asked, smiling.

“Can you hold this?” She handed him a bundle, and he was caught off guard by the weight of it.

“What- hey!” Jacob adjusted his weight to hold whatever was in his hands, and watched the woman get in her car and speed away. “What the…” Looking at what he was holding, he finally realized what was in his arms.

A child.

Luckily for him, they were sleeping. What to do now, he wasn’t sure. London decided to help him figure what to do by starting to pour, and he ran down the sidewalk to his home, trying his best to not wake the sleeping kid up. As he shifted them around to pull out his keys, they made a whining noise, making him freeze momentarily. When they didn’t make any more noise, he continued to pull out his keys and enter his home, being as quiet as possible.

Making his way upstairs, Jacob pondered on what to do. This kid had just been abandoned by their mother, and he had no way of contacting the dad, or any family members. They kid had been abandoned. It didn’t help that the mother took off so quickly in her car, with little detail given about the child. He decided that since the kid was sleeping, the best he could do was put them in his bed, and hope they sleep the rest of the night.

Jacob had heard stories from Bayek about how laying a baby to sleep was like messing with a bomb. That the most sudden movement could wake them up and chaos would follow. So, as he carefully laid the child down, Bayek’s stories with Khemu echoed around his head, even if the child didn’t look to be a baby but more around the age of a toddler. Moving his hands away, he held his breath as he backed up, and breathed once he was out in the hallway.

He pulled out his phone, and quickly scanned through his contacts. He was lost on what to do in this situation, there was no way he could do this alone. He needed more food, he only had enough to last him a week. He wasn’t planning on taking care of a kid. What about clothes? How long was the kid going to be here? Should he give them to the foster system? Maybe they still have family. He took a breath in, and exhaled.

“Get a hold of yourself, Jacob. You’re overthinking this.” Glancing back at his phone, he scanned through his contacts. One caught his attention, and he went to press the call button, but hesitated. Surely he would have experience with something like this, but he didn’t want to bother him. Would it be worth it? I mean, he could call Evie or Henry, maybe even Freddy. Jacob sighed and hit call.

The phone rang for a bit, before it was answered. “Hello?”

“Hello Father. Listen, I know you are probably busy, but I need…” Jacob inhaled, “...some advice”.

Silence. Jacob was about to hang up before, “What have you done now?”

“Well, I didn’t do much actually. This woman asked for some assistance in holding something of hers, and when she handed it to me, she took off in her car.” He hesitated, before bluntly saying, “She gave me a child”

“Pardon?”

“A child. They're sleeping in my room, but I don’t know what to do now. I don’t even know the kid’s name.”

A string of curses was heard from the other end, before Ethan was heard sighed heavily on the other end. “Do you have enough food?”

“For a few days”.

“How about clothes, do they have clothes?”

“Only what they are wearing” Scribbling could be heard on the other end.

“Alright, I’ll be over tomorrow, and I’ll help you sort this out”.

Jacob stopped breathing. Tomorrow? He was grateful for the help, but did his dad really have to come out so soon? Why would he? He called for advice, he didn't expect his dad coming to visit, especially since he’s so busy. “Do you not have work?”

“I’m free for this week. I’ll be there around 8.”

“Alright, see you then”.

The call ended, and Jacob rubbed his face in his hands. He now had another guest to worry about. He figured his father would give him a checklist of what to do, but now he was coming over. Still, inside Jacob was happy his father was willing to come help him. Only a little bit though.

Luckily for Jacob, the kid slept through the night, and Jacob woke up around 7 am, to the sound of shuffling footsteps coming from his room. Getting up slowly, Jacob had nearly forgotten the previous day's occurrences, before realizing that those footsteps were those of a child. Oh god, that means they are awake.

Ripping the blankets off his body, he made his way upstairs, and saw the child shuffling around his room, looking around tiredly, and confused. When they saw Jacob at the doorway, and walked up to him, looking up with a head tilt, clearly confused to who he was. ‘What the bloody hell do I say? “Oh yes good morning child! Your mom gave you away last night so now I have you here at my home! And my father is coming to help figure out what to do with you!” no I can’t say that, it’s a child!’

A grumbling noise was heard, and Jacob assumed that the kid was hungry when they looked down and placed a hand on their belly. Holding his hand out, Jacob waited for them to look up, and after a moment, grabbed his hand as he led them through the house downstairs to the kitchen.

Jacob decided it was best to keep an eye on them as much as possible, considering that they were very small, and that he didn’t want them hurting themselves around the house. Picking them up, he made sure nothing in the vicinity could hurt them, before placing them on the counter. “What do you want for breakfast?”

They titled their head, blinking a bit, before looking around. Upon seeing the fridge, their eyes lit up, and they pointed at the appliance. Jacob walked over and opened the door.

“Alright, I have ham, bacon, and eggs-”

“Eggs!” They were cheering, clapping their hands and bouncing up and down.

Jacob smiled, “Eggs it is”. Taking out what he needed, he began to cook for the two of them, as the child continued to repeat what they said, excited for the eggs. Once the eggs were done, he picked them up and placed them in a chair in the dining room. Jacob ended up grabbing pillows from his couch and placed them on the chair as a booster, before grabbing the eggs, and placing one plate in front of them, and digging into his own. He was worried they wouldn’t know how to eat by themselves, however it seems they at least knew how to eat with their hands.

Once they were done eating, Jacob cleaned up, and made sure to clean them up as well, before moving to the living room, waiting for Ethan to arrive.

Jacob was looking out the window when he felt movement next to him, and looked down to see the kid staring at him, curious.

“Mama?”

That hurt Jacob. This child was confused. Last they had seen their mom, they had fallen asleep in her arms, only to wake up in a strange house. What that mother did made his blood boil, but he would deal with his anger later. Right now he had to clarify who he was to this kid. “Jacob”, he said as he pointed at himself, smiling.

“Eheeeheeuwbeekehh awskwskswskwesawdeh”

Jacob blinked. He didn’t speak gibberish. Still, he grinned, ruffling their hair. Hopefully they had some relatives they could get in contact with. Jacob looked out the window, and saw Ethan walking up to the door, hauling two suitcases, with grocery bags hanging off of him. Standing up, he went to the door and opened it. “I see you have had a busy morning”.

“I have”. Ethan huffed before looking down, noticing the toddler behind Jacob, curious eyes looking at him, confused and intrigued. “When you said a child I thought you meant around 8 years old, not a toddler”.

“They are the same thing, aren’t they?”

“Absolutely not.”

Jacob looked his dad up and down. “Would you like some assistance?”

“I raised you and Evie I can handle this”. Ethan made his way to move through the door after Jacob stepped aside with the child in tow, and attempted to squeeze through the door frame.

“Are you sure?” Jacob grinned.

“Yes”. Ethan tried several more times, before silently handing Jacob the grocery bags, who took them chuckling at his father’s antics.

Once Ethan was settled, and the food was stored, they gathered in the living room, around one of the suitcases. The toddler sat beside Jacob, looking at him.

Jacob looked back, and glanced at his dad, unsure of what to do or rather how to respond to them, especially when they pointed at him. Ethan only shrugged, before being confused as well when they moved their finger towards Ethan, head tilting. Ethan decided to try something out, and pointed at himself.

“Ethan”. He pointed at his son. “Jacob”

The toddler pointed at Jacob, “Jacob” they pointed back at Ethan. “Ethab”. They looked around, finger wagging about as they twisted around. “Mama?”

Jacob pointed at his dad, “Ethan,” he pointed back at himself, “Jacob”.

“Jacob, check if they smell”.

“What?”

“Do they stink?”

Jacob went to go grab them, but they walked away from him, going to the plant that Henry had gifted him, looking around. Jacob shared a glance with his dad, as the kid pulled down their pants and pull-ups together, causing the Fryes to panic and get the kid away from the plant at minimum.

They ended up making a mess on the floor, to which Jacob decided to clean, and Ethan decided to give them a bath. So, Ethan whisked them away to the bathroom, and Jacob made quick work of the accident that nearly killed Henry’s plant.

“Jacob!” Ethan called from upstairs.

“Yes?”

“You need to help with the bath. They keep saying your name”.

Confused, Jacob walked upstairs and into the bathroom, and upon seeing him, they clapped their hands, squealing with delight. “Jacob! Jacob!”

Jacob laughed, and got on his knees besides the tub, watching his father thoroughly clean them of any filth they had on them. The whole time, they babble incoherently at Jacob, trying to talk but it only comes out in gibberish. Ethan reached for a towel he had found, and helped the child out of the tub, wrapping them in the cloth.

“I’ll be back with clothes, you dry them off”. Ethan left, and when he returned, Jacob and the toddler were pointing at each other, making goofy faces.

“I found out their name it’s- are those my clothes?” Jacob stared at the clothes that His dad had brought. Sure enough, those were clothes he wore as a kid. “Why did you bring my clothes?”

“Cheaper than buying new ones.” Ethan laid the clothes out. “I also brought pull-ups, so all we need to get is a toilet for them to go to the bathroom, that way they don’t make big messes again.”

Jacob nodded, and started to help the kid get dressed. “Their name is (Y/n)”.

Ethan nodded, “Might be best to check if a toddler has been reported missing.”

Jacob found the missing children website, and got to searching. As much as he searched and called, he couldn’t find a single lead into where (y/n) came from. Sighing, he rubbed his temples, and lazily glanced up towards his dad who stood at the entryway of the living room.

“No luck I suppose?”

“Nope.”

Ethan sighed, before taking a seat on the couch besides Jacob. “We can try again tomorrow”.

Jacob nodded. (Y/n) was upstairs taking a nap, which gave them a moment of peace. For the most part, Ethan had been watching over them as Jacob tried to get information. Seeing his dad handle a kid so easily made him wonder what it must have been like for Ethan when he was younger. “Father,” Ethan looked at him, “what was it like raising Evie and I? Did it feel similar to this in a way?”

Ethan looked forward, taking a deep breath, holding it for a bit before sighing. “In a way, yes. I had two babies to raise and look after, and your mom had just…” he trailed off, rubbing his palms together. “It was hard. It was all sudden, and even after all those months of preparation, I felt extremely unprepared. In most other situations, sudden events are thrilling. This wasn’t as thrilling, considering everything that had happened, but I gave it my best.

“You both were rascals, intelligent, energetic and absolutely a nightmare when you played together.” Jacob chuckled, remembering the times him and Evie would scare his dad. “I love every second of it.”

“Love?”

“I’m still your bloody father, aren't I?” Ethan grabbed Jacob in a neck hold, giving him a noogie, “Someone has to teach you sense.”

Jacob laughed, slapping away at his father’s arms. They laughed, and settled back down. “What happens if I can’t find their family?”

“Perhaps they will be put into foster care.”

“I don’t know about that.”

“It’s not your kid Jacob.”

“I know but,” he hesitated, before continuing. “It doesn’t feel right to give them to the system.”

Ethan crossed his arms, “What will you do then?”

Jacob thought about it for a moment. He wasn’t planning on being a father anytime soon, but the more he thought about it, the idea wasn’t too bad. Undoubtedly the paparazzi might begin to follow him around more, but there are ways to avoid them. He turned to his dad, grinning. “I’ll take care of them”.

Before Ethan could respond, the doorbell rang. Standing up, Jacob walked over to the door and opened it. “I was beginning to think I couldn’t have any more guests!”

“Who else could possibly be- father?” Evie peered into the home, confused as to why Ethan was sitting on the couch. “What are you doing in London?”

“Helping Jacob”.

Evie walked inside, and so did Henry Green. “What has Jacob done now?” Before Jacob or Ethan could answer, a wailing began from upstairs.

Ethan and Jacob shared a glance, as Henry and Evie looked at both of them for answers. Jacob made his way upstairs, hastily opening the door to his room, to find (Y/n) sitting on the bed, crying. “Mama! Mama!” They continued to call out for their mom, hugging themselves, shaking.

Jacob walked over to the bed, gently shushing them, and reached out a hand to try and console them. (Y/n) stood up on the bed, still crying, and began to pound their fists against Jacob. He looked down at the child, shushing them softly in an attempt to calm them down. When that didn’t work, he picked them up. Eventually, they calmed down, wrapping their arms around Jacob and sniffling into his neck. He turned to the door slightly, to see the others there, watching.

Evie glanced between him and (Y/n), looking pitiful. “What kind of situation did you get yourself into?”

a rambly all-over-the-place personal note! Incase you just want to hear from me and talk to me!! I know i’ve been gone for a while so if any followers old/new wants to hear what I actually say when Im not answering posts, here it is! 💓❤️💓

the main point so you don’t have to see any of the mess: any asks that talks to me like im google will be deleted!

note: the main part of this isn’t even about the above so if u’re looking for drama or me angsting you may not find it here!! i think i sound more like im fatigued and on my last brain cells.. talking about everything and being v sappy and mellow.. so!!! 💓❤️💓 no drama. not here! not today!

ok now, consider:

what do u guys think about me just taking it easy... i dont know if you’ve been here for a while or for long.. but I usually do pretty detailed research posts?? about topics like moon phase in astrology, basics on essential dignitaries, etc.

Astrology ‘topics’... stuff like ‘what is x chart what does it mean’ or ‘what is x concept how does it work’ -- not about placements usually!!! 💓❤️💓Asks about placements I just answer for fun from my inbox.. but posts I actually make.. those are the type of things!!! 💓❤️💓

And well.. I just came back.. not in the mindset right now.. so i was thinking.. would u be ok/interested if i take a break from those posts and maybe post more idol astrology stuff?? nothing serious, I just want to have fun and talk about placements and gush over people who may have similar placements to us and how good they are + how we can learn from them...

Its just fun stuff?? very light-hearted (dont talk to me about crying through them sometimes, bc theyre so good even when i see harsh aspects/them going through manifestation of that throughout their careers) -- idk!! I just want to maybe talk about girls for a while and like, ask people to love girls and support/appreciate girl groups and asian soloists and artists...

idk!! just a thought.. like.. i’ll still answer astro stuff and maybe i’ll slip astro posts in there as well.. 90% of my blog is still main astro stuff.. just that 10% maybe i’ll do more idol readings.. it lifts my spirits and i like talking about them!! i know its a niche in tumblr, esp the kpop gg astro stuff.. but like... girls...!!! and seventeen members (im nearly done oh my god theres 3 more left!!!)

I know i put a lot of effort into the bangtan readings bc theyre like-- the semi between my usual intense stuff and the light-hearted ones so im-- probably not gonna touch them yet (for now) -- I always have high expectations for them because they have to be a certain Standard. There’s alot of great bangtan astro posts out there -- part of that is also v pressuring. But another part is that I want to contribute to something in the community as well! That is like, new and welcomed and good and Not Bad... so... I’m holding off bc I have to have like, a week to actually write, edit, re-edit, check myself before I (usually) publish them.. so... this is ur warning my bts inner readings wont be coming out soon!!

im just talking about gg stuff -- or other idols, thinking about twice and gfriend and oh my god.... girl groups...

I rmb I used to do it to promote solo artists that might not have gotten alot of attention as well.. I still have drafts about Bolb4.. now consider: younha... also consider: xiao zhan, wang yibo... oh my god... but what if-- idk!!! idk!!!!!!

Anyways I just want to let u know whats been on my mind!!! I honestly dont really know? I posted the bangtan answer today (with a warning beforehand) and AS SOON AS I PUBLISHED 4 people left -- to be honest its pretty funny,,, its kinda funny right?? i think its funny,,, like kpop repellent,, but also i Get it!!! its not for u its ok dont take this social media thing so seriously... its fine i do it all the time too, dont feel guilty over blocking or unfollowing someone - do it as soon as you feel uncomfy tbh its a safe place for u make it ur safe spot!!

But!! Yeah!! 💓❤️💓 Idol things, thoughts? 💓❤️💓

And this is not related but I was looking at old questions/asks in my inbox (some that ive alrdy answered but its still there -- like 6 asks? so thats... 6 out of the current 122 asks oof) and people are So Nice and So Polite to me!!!! amazing!!! fortunate!!!! One lucky bitch!!!!! Thats me!!!! Im the lucky bitch, who?? people are just so courteous towards when they request or asks for something?? wow---

Its only like, half way in the middle of my old asks that I realize once its more mainstream astro ppl start sending asks in like im google search... rip anyone who does that i deleted the ask bc i have a faq.. my only rule is that be nice.. not playing by the rules!!!!!

Its also a little introspective to think about it now.. how back then when I didn’t realize it was happening I carried through and answered them anyways bc like... atleast people were asking?? they’re curious?? right?? keep the public fed! there’s people out there who does enjoy my actual answer than the ask itself...but like... now that i’m back and Refreshen: any asks that talks to me like im google will be deleted. basically what im saying about all this is: don’t let people treat you that way, or anyway you don’t feel absolutely positively happy about. I’m still keeping some asks that I do want to answer/I think can be turned into great points. But marie-kondo yourself, you don’t deserve to be treated like someone’s encyclopedia, dictionary or google!!!!!

they don’t really care, and it doesn’t really matter if you answer or not -- bc they can just type in the same thing to other astrologer out there and mayb someone will hit it and answer for them. So!!!! dont compromise, delete anything that doesn’t treat u like human. Bc u’re not a bot!!!! Do better!!! This is from future nita to past nita!!! Do better!!! This is why u burnt out and went awol for like a month!!!!!!!! Dont let this happen again or get into the habit, cry to ur friends!!! Ask ur beta for help!!!!!!! Add some people in as ur admin so they can clearly tell u what is right and whats wrong!!!!! dummie you’re too soft and kind!!!!! stop making excuses for others!!!!!!! do better in 2020!!!!!

So this is my rambling over!!! Answered 42 asks in my queue, know that around 30 of them have already been posted. That’s 72 done today!! Not to mention the 30 yesterday -- I was v dumb and didn’t close the ask box, thus I had +10 asks in my inbox today but its ok!!!!!!! Let the people Speak!!!! The archive for the Creator Babble chat that occurred from July 4th, 2020 to July 10th, 2020. The chat focused on the following question:

What was an unexpected aspect of making webcomics you didn’t realize before making one yourself?

How much our comic and it's story we're going to change during the years of creation was the biggest and most jarring aspect for sure. There's scripts and thumbs that were all made before we ventured out to make GJS with paths completely different from what we initially thought we would take that have completely changed how we approach not only writing but reading webcomics too. Webcomics as a medium have the biggest connection to time, whether it be production or the consumption, they have this opportunity to exist and transform in the long hours it takes to enjoy and read them. It's honestly one of the biggest advantages imho. To see a story slowly unfold, listening to ur audience reactions, peer critiques, or new inspiration can make such a drastic and intense impact on a long form work- its both jaw dropping and humbling to be apart of!(edited)

For me it was the community aspect of comics. I knew a community existed on the reader side of things (comments!), but I didn't expect the creator side to be how it is! I don't know why, but for some reason I kind of always thought that all of us were sort of throwing our comics out from the void... I guess that was me looking at comics from a reader's point of view! But as soon as I started making comics, I started meeting people who made them too... and it's been incredible!

Yeah, I had been in (and quickly decided to not be in 0_0) gaming communities, but nothing really as wonderful as what I've found through comics. Closest I had gotten other than that was comments on social media

Community definitely one of the big things, much like Deo pointed. I was kinda expecting to have get connections through readers, but it's much more with other creators, which is super satisfying in it's own way. Also gonna second Krispy's comment about how time affects how you see your story's past and future. A lot of things changed in the past four years that made my comic change as well and having so much time to think each individual scene allows them to be much more complex and interesting than they would when I first thought them through. Having the time really helps. This also kinda touches the topic of personal change too, which affects how I write and what feels most important to focus on and that's interesting to think about as well

How long things will take, the longer the story goes on! I started out being able to complete a page in 2h but then I found more I wanted to try on each page (colours, layout, composition etc) and even wanted to extend certain scenes. With 500 pages planned, I definitely thought I’d be farther along by now, heading into AWT’s first year anniversary in a month. That being said, I’m also enjoying the ride and it’s all thanks to the great community here and making connections with other comics folks/readers. I never expected to get comments and so each one has been a treasure to read.

An unexpected aspect of making webcomics is how much people respond to them. I figured I'd be creating into a void but I met so many people as a result of publishing my dinosaur comic

Ditto on the webcomic community. I didn't realize how far reaching it was to have a community that supports each other. And I've enjoyed meeting so many wonderful and creative people who raised each other up. Another thing I didn't expect, however, was how invested I got into my comic.(edited)

At first I was doing it mostly for fun. But the more I delved into it, the easier it was to get sucked into my story and want to draw it out. And as a result taking it a lot more seriously.

I hadn't realized how much I put myself into my comic! My friends who read it have all said that it's incredibly in my voice and reflects my opinions and worldviews Before I shared it with people I hadn't thought of it in that way at all

As an artist, I didn't expect how my comic production and mindset will change. Once I started comics, it brought out my ideas from thoughts to a physical form. I start to invest more time into it. Each project evolved through each chapter. How to balance script writing to a polished piece. I put alot of time and research in my works. It makes me glad to hear other creators do the same. I'm not the crazy artist who's wasting her time. One of the positive change was meeting other creators, how we give advice and receive praise.(edited)

I completely underestimated the amount of effort that would have to go into formatting, website design and maintenance, etc. If I got to do it again, a little more research beforehand probably would’ve saved me a lot of time and hassle.

I really overestimated the "if you build it they will come" aspect of webcomics lol. Like, you actually have to work to advertise your comic in order for people to read it. Nobody ever got hundreds of readers just from posting their comic onto some hosting site without doing major marketing work.(edited)

Self promo got MUCH less intimidating for me when I started thinking of it like: "okay, so my comic is made for readers like me, people who share my tastes. That means I only need to answer one question: what can I say to get me to check out this comic? I don't need to impress anyone else. I just need to appeal to me." (since "me" is my target audience)

I'm kind of somewhere in between. I advertise my comic mostly because it is all I wanna talk about, like Deo. But I also don't think it's gotten me many readers. Most of my readers came as far as I can tell because I was making something that appealed to them. (The whole "if you build it, they will come" thing.) Although, I really don't have a big audience, I do have an audience, and I am certain most of them came from me just posting.

I think it's determined a lot by luck, and also, how big your niche's audience is to begin with (and some skill tbh).

I've been featured on both. It certainly got people to check it out and even sub, but retaining those people (even if they've subbed!!!) is a different story. I think my story is just not the right type for the platforms, but eh, even if 99% of the platform users aren't into the kinda thing I'm making, 1% increase is still an increase.

Which is another thing I learned over the course of running this comic, specifically (since the internet has changed so much after my first two attempts). Just because the majority of your subs don't actually read the comic, doesn't mean your work sucks. Today's internet caters to casual users, and there's a bajillion factors affecting who's actually reading your stuff.

i've never been featured by webtoons but i've seen series grow from 100 followers to 10k overnight

I put my new comic on webtoon in november 2019, and in 1 month I crawled up to.... maybe 50 subs?(granted I only put up one episode and then paused for a bit)

Then in December I started updating it weekly and got placed in the new and hot section of the app

And bam, 6k subs

It last 2 weeks and then the section updated and all growth stopped, and subs went down by 10 or so over the next week

One unexpected thing for me was how many people I would meet because of my comic. It surprised me greatly that I found so many cool people through the comic community and made the friends I have made now. Love you all

The unexpected thing for me was just how much you have to just...predict...what the market will want to read. Like even if you research a whole lot, and you draw really well, and have been doing art professionally, you can still strike out. It's a humbling experience, but being able to just let go of poorly received pages and move on and try things differently is a lot of the battle for doing a webcomic. It teaches you how to fail gracefully because...it's all a process of learning your readers better. Even if they're few at first.

My major unexpected thing was how much my initial ideas change as I work through a page. Everything from the expressions, dialogue, and layout can change as I look at it and 'solve' it more closely than I did in thumbnails. There are pages I look back on and realize they are ENTIRELY different than what I had first sketched. And they're better for it. Allowing myself the freedom to edit during the artwork... it's created some majorly awesome opportunities.

Same hat, haha. I often make changes at every stage-- even the thumbnails will often depart from the script. If anything, I wish I made even more changes-- I feel like my page layouts tend to be pretty standard, I do a lot of pages with the 3 rows of 2 panels each, and I want to break out of that more. But... well, that's a work in progress.

There is going to be a lot of triggering things up ahead, dealing with rape, suicide, abusive relationships, and the like. So if you can't handle hearing about that stuff it's okay. Take care of yourself.

I just need to tell my story right now, because it's the last time I might be able to tell it. I've kept it inside for so long but I need to let it out.

I don't remember a time where I wasn't full of anxiety. Ever. My parents weren't in the healthiest relationship and fought all the time. My mom was okay, if a bit immature and wild at times. But I loved her, and she used to love me. My dad was a different story. I can't ever remember feeling safe around him. Not once. He was, is, bipolar and would scream at me and hit me and lock me in my room over the smallest infractions, like, missing a spot when I cleaned the dishes, or not wanting to play outside. He also touched me sexually (': every night he'd come into my room to say 'good night' and spoon me and touch my body and just kiss my neck and squeeze my chest and touch between my legs. Every night I dreaded bed time. Every night I just layed there and let him do what he wanted and said nothing. I don't think I knew what it meant, I just knew how scared and uncomfortable it made me. My mom never knew, she still doesn't. No one does. This happened for as long as I can remember, from when I was like 5 (that's as far back as my memories go) to when I was 13. I developed a nervous tick from the stress of worrying when I was next going to be hit or touched, and got made fun of in school for that, because my hands would shake.

My mom and dad got a divorce then and my mom moved to Florida and I begged her to take me with her. I couldn't be the only female in that house with my dad. I couldn't. She did and I was happy for a bit (': my grandparents and the rest of my family live in Florida and it was nice. I lived with my mom for awhile, 3 years, from 13 to 15/16. And at the beginning it was okay, like I said before, I loved my mom. She was cool and fun and I just wanted to impress her all the time. I just wanted her to notice me. I just wanted to be fun and free like she was. She started making friends that weren't good people, drug addicts and convicts and homeless people. There would be up to 10 random people in our house at a time and at first, even though it was weird and made me uncomfortable, I tried to be cool with it. Then stuff started getting bad. The men (bc it was all guys) started noticing me more and more and started making comments on how pretty I was, how much I looked like my mom. One in particular, being my mom's boyfriend, noticed me the most. Whenever my mom wasn't in the same room he'd be at my side, wanting to know how I was doing and letting me know how 'sexy' I was. I started locking my door at night (a habit I still have now, I need to lock doors) and had trouble sleeping due to the sounds of people getting wasted and partying all night long. I started falling behind in school. One day someone in my class started a rumor that I was into witchcraft bc I wore all black all the time and didn't speak. (': no one talked to me or tried to. I went home that day and cried, and got mad at my mom and told her she needed to get her shit together bc how she was living wasn't healthy. She called me a loser and said I was just jealous of the attention she got and that I had no life and her boyfriend (Kyle) was there the whole time just watching me, so I went to my room and cried my eyes out. I forgot to lock the door that night and it was the worst mistake of my life.

TW GRAPHIC DETAIL OF RAPE: he came in that night and I was under the covers still silently crying and he just slid under them next to me, just like my dad used to, and I just. Froze. I just froze because that's what I do when I panic, and he pulled me to him and touched me all over and moaned so loud, and kept telling me how fucking hot I was and how I'd teased him for so long by wearing shorts and baggy shirts around the house. He fingered me and I'll never forget how sweaty his hands were and how dry I was and how much it hurt. I'll never forget feeling his hot body and the alcohol and weed on his breathe when he pressed me down and raped me. It's awful how the whole time I wasn't even panicking anymore. Because in that moment it clicked for me. I didn't matter. Im a waste of space. I'm nothing. I just stared at my dresser the whole time and thought about nothing. I've never felt more blank and empty then in that moment. He finished, not inside, but on my sheets, and left just as quietly as he had come. And I just. Stopped. I stopped feeling. I stopped everything. I was 15. I stopped waking up early in the morning to go to school. My mom didn't even notice I'd stayed home most days. I'd just lay in bed and sleep all day. I cut myself in the shower. I didn't eat. I got touched and felt up a few more times after that, 2 by Kyle and 1 by someone else. I didn't care, I just detached myself. I probably would have died soon, but my school noticed I hadn't been attending classes for months and contacted my grandparents bc my mom wouldn't answer. I got taken out of my mom's home and moved in with my grandparents for that reason. My mom didn't care. Kyle said he'd miss me.

I don't know when but I got my emotions back slowly. My grandparents bought me a phone and a computer and that's when I discovered online. It helped so much. It really did. I met nice people. I met my best friend. I met my first ex. (': he was my first love and at this time, I still didn't know what being treated with respect was like. He took advantage of that. He abused me mentally daily, and told me I was worthless and that there were much better options around and that I was weak for letting myself be raped and doing nothing. I don't know why I loved him. We accept the love we think we deserve so. He ended up cheating on me and telling me it was my fault. The worst part is I still kept in contact with him and every now and then we'd talk (when he was single and needed some side ass) and he'd be mock sweet and tell me I was important only to get nudes from me and then ditch me again the second his main goal came back. Inadequacy hello 😎 this happened from when I was about 17/18.

I then went through what I thought was a positive time in my life. I met my other ex and he seemed so good. He seemed to love me, he seemed to want me. And for a year I was happy. And then he too, cheated on me 😎 in the word possible way, by force. And now that I look back on it there were a lot of ways he wasn't good. He ignored me a lot and invalidated me whenever there was an argument.

So at this point I've decided I'm worth about shit, right? A dad who cares about me a little to much, a mom who doesn't at all anymore e except when she needs money. Two boyfriends who found better options and who lied and cheated and abused me.

Wrong. Because I started my tumblr and made alot of online friends. Friends who I adore and love and have feelings for. Friends who seem to love me back. And I thought that was enough but 😎

There is now a family friend who has taken to noticing me too much, to touching me when he has the chance. He's been getting close and closer for the past year. My dad sent me a letter on my birthday telling me he can't wait to see me when he gets out, how much he thinks I've probably grown so much prettier then he remembers, how much he can't wait to hold me again. I got felt up at the grocery store the other day. My mom and her boyfriend visited and Kyle picked me up and copped a feel and he still smelled like alcohol and weed just like always.

That family friend touched me again today. Worse then that he called me pretty and when we were alone he sat next to me on the couch and put his hand on my leg and let it travel up, and up. And I did nothing. I did nothing.

I am nothing. Everyone needs who reads this now knows why. I don't have worth. I don't have value. It's all been taken. I don't have anything left to give anyone. I want to fall in love, I have already, with someone, I think. They've shown me so much kindness and I've opened up to them and they've seen sides of me no one has and they deserve so much but I'm nothing and I can't give anything. I'm not worth them, I'm not and I'll never be. I'm not worth anyone. I am dirt, I am scum, I am a husk of a person. I'm not sexy or beautiful or special or fragile or lovely. I am tainted and bruised and so, so ugly. I'll never be worth love and happiness. Never.

By the time you finish this post I will have downed as many pills as I possibly can. I'm to much of a coward to cut anymore. I dont even know if ill die or not. I just need to sleep and not think about how worthless I am for awhile. I'm sorry. I've already been letting myself waste away by not eating.

I am not worth being loved or treasured. I'm not worth having love. I'm not worth having a boyfriend or girlfriend that love me. I'm not.

- @zeta-jane is an absolute godsend of a friend. They are sassy, funny, talkative, energetic and so full of amazing ideas!!! Zeta is always there for me when I need someone to lean on. They’re such a kind friend and they will not hesitate, baitch to fight people who hurt me- probably because they know I’d do the same for them! They’re such good company both online and IRL, and I am blessed to have met them! I am even more blessed to be writing City of Dust and Shadows with them, which has become the longest fic either of us has ever written! We may or may not surpass it with our future collabs, however ;) They are just the coolest person ever and they deserve all the love in the world. I adore them so much!!! TUT

so you have been friends with yuta since like forever

his friends are your friends and vice versa with him

so it wasn’t much a surprise when yuta suddenly introduced you to hansol one day

but something about him was just different but you couldn’t seem to find out what it was

back to hansol ,

when he first greeted you he said it in a monotone without much expression

“nice to meet you , yuta’s friend . i’m Hansol ”

“ haha nice to meet you , Y/N here ”

/gives a small smile and says nothing else/

then he acts as if nothing happened and goes back to listening to the conversation

and throughout the whole time he doesnt even glance at you

he hardly smiled too

you highkey thought he actually disliked you and you also scolded yuta for forcing him to join since he didn’t look too happy

little did you know he was just shy and wanted to seem like a tough man infront of you

and he’s an awkward little bean so he didn’t know what else to say

and he was the one who begged yuta to introduced you to him

“ yuta-ah , hyung needs help ”

“ what is it ? ”

“ your best friend … she’s really pretty ”

“ are you interested in her ? ”

“ …. ”

“ what do you want me to do ? ”

“ introduce her maybe .. ? ”

and just like that , for the sake of getting to know you hansol burnt a hole in his wallet because yuta just had to pick a 5 star high class restaurant which caused 50$ a dish

soon enough he began hanging out with the both of you more ,

and you’d slowly notice him looking at you from time to time ,

and how he’d blush a little when you got too near

one day you fell ill and yuta was busy so he couldn’t rush over to attend to you just in time

and once hansol heard about it he rushed over to your house within like 0.2983293secs

he wrapped you up in thick blankets

and offered to cook for you

and he attended to all your needs despite being tired

soon after he fell asleep beside your bed with his head in his arms

and you couldn’t help but take in every detail of his features

you were utterly touched and stunned by his caring side

which he hardly ever showed to others

after this incident the both of you grew closer

and yuta being himself , he teases the both of you a lot

“ wow Y/N , 8 years of friendship gone just like that because of hyung , bye i’m off ”

“ why are you saying this yuta ”

“ because someone’s been stealing my bestfriend /eyes hansol/ ”

“ i did not steal her ”

“ and i’m not even yours wth yuta ew ”

then the both of you stare awkwardly at each other

blushing like mad

then two weeks later he showed up at your house ,

and he passed you a small notebook

and when you read the contents of it you almost cried

because it was hansol’s daily journal/daily entry of his feelings for you

and you hugged him so tightly he almost choked

and when you tell him you like him too

he smiles like crazy and immediately pecks your forehead

so cute aw -and when the two of you cuddled in bed together that night ,

he thought you were still asleep so he called yuta to fanboy over the news

when in fact you were lying in his arms trying hard not to laugh

honestly the type of boyfriend which helps you in everything ,

he tries to cook for you ,

and he likes to compliment you , but very lowkey though

and he doesnt show much affection , but on days when he’s in a good mood ,

he hugs you really tightly , and loves burying his face in your hair

pecks on the cheeks too !!

even though he seems manly and tough he’s actually a really big softie

he’s too shy to even initiate kisses on the lips so you’re always the one doing so

and when you do he blushes like crazy

for like one whole hour

he’s so tol you look so tiny beside him

so he loves having his arms around your shoulder ,

and resting his head on yours

lots of backhugs too aw

it started when he was busy with work one day ,

so you crept up behind him and gave him a backhug

he froze at first but he turned around and hugged you back without saying any words

from that day on he loves surprising you with backhugs , and catching you offguard makes him giggle like a small kid all the time

when he gets jealous though , he gets really confident and starts speaking more ,

when normally he’s just quiet and not saying much

and that was the first time he ever said those three words first to you ,

and on yours , it’s a picture of him sleeping on your lap

and he blushes everytime he sees that picture because your hand was on his head , your fingers touching his hair

when couple fight happens he’s always the first one to apologise

and he’s always on the verge of crying because he cant bear to leave you

yuta also plays an important in helping y'all to patch up ,

he’d lecture you with his wise words on the choices and decisions you should be making

and he reminds you of all the times hansol has been there for you at your lowest points when he couldn’t be

and when you broke down after you heard his words ,

yuta called hansol right away

and like always , he appeared within seconds and he comforted you

okay ngl but lots of binge-watching of animes & probably cartoon shows together

when he first told you he liked watching them you were shocked at first before y'all dated ,

“ you’re turning 23 soon hansol ”

“ but it’s really nice , i can guarantee ”

“ okay … but what if it isn’t ? ”

and he said it with so much confidence you couldn’t help but watch it with him

now both of you are hardcore anime enthusiasts taeyong had to stop y'all from influencing winwin any further

but it’s too late , yuta already did

he lowkey bought y'all matching pokemon soft toy keychains

but you didn’t know until you noticed he had the same one hanging from his bunch of keys

he often posts one word description pictures of you online ,

yuta unfollowed him once because he was posting like 8 pictures of you in a day with those captions

he’s a great listener so you often rant to him when you have problems ,

and even though he doesn’t give great advice ,his hugs and company never fails to make you feel better

but since he isn’t that good with words either , he has problems trying to speak/say out his feelings and thoughts

so he asks for nothing more than your hugs when he’s sad

he stares at you in awe like 24/7

and everytime you ask him ,

Why cant we have insurance on Auto Repairs. Where we pay a co-pay (like health insurance) or deductible and the auto shops are regulated by the insurance companies. We would pay more for cars that need more repair. Wouldnt it make automakers more interested in making a better car?
