i was wondering if i could ask a street musician reader and a passerby scara fic. ik it doesn't have much explanation but i hope i can leave it to you😞
Thank you! I'm a bit late with this request, but I hope you enjoy it. I completely fell in love with the idea of Scaramouche and street musician reader 🥰
Part of my ✨ 100 followers milestone event ✨ that ran from September 2nd to September 9th.

Scaramouche strolls along the bustling stalls of Port Ormos, immersing himself in the symphony of sounds. The air buzzes with the echoes of lively merchants and customers trying to haggle over prices. Kids dart around, gleeful shouts adding to the cacophony. The rhythmic clatter of artisans’ tools echo from the nearby workshops.
The fragrant aroma of spices mingles with the smell of freshly baked goods. Nearby, a vendor proudly displays an array of ripe fruits — from plump and succulent Zaytun peaches, to imported Lavender melons and spicy Jueyun chilies.
Scaramouche pauses, and his gaze meets the warm smile of the vendor. He stays silent, feeling the weight of the curious gaze upon him. With a soft humph, he lowers his wide-brimmed hat, casting a shadow over his face. He continues on his way, his steps purposeful and gaze fixed straight ahead — he tells himself he must stay fixated on the mission, that he must not get sidetracked by the vibrant distractions, nor draw any attention to himself.
He remains composed, a ghost in the crowd, blending seamlessly.
Yet when Scaramouche turns the corner, his hearing is enveloped by a soft voice. A familiar melody resounds in the air, and his heart skips a beat as he recognizes it instantly. He cannot help but be drawn towards the source of the enchanting voice.
There, in the midst of the bustling street, you stand, a lone street performer.
His steps falter as he approaches you. He stands between the other onlookers, his presence like a moth drawn to a flame.
You’re unaware of Scaramouche’s inner turmoil, and continue to raise your voice, your own rendition of the Inazuman song filled with burning passion and purity.
“Kare wa yasei no iro ni michita sekai o samayoi masu,
Jishin no seigen wa naku, kokoro wa fukaku.
Kabukimono, kabukimono…”
Time stands still. The lyrics evoke a lost meaning known only to him, memories he had long locked away. His chest constricts as he feels the weight of the past press upon him.
The last notes of the tune float into the air, and the crowd erupts in response. A few individuals drop mora into your hat, expressing their gratitude for the performance. You nod in sincere appreciation, a humble smile making its way to your lips.
Scaramouche waits patiently for the last of the onlookers to disperse. You crouch on the ground, gathering the coins and placing them into a leather pouch. The Inazuman steps closer to you, his hat casting a shadow over your figure. The weight of his presence draws your attention, and you raise your head, eyes wide with curiosity.
There’s an air of mystery cloaking him.
You straighten up and pat down your pants. “You’re Inazuman, right?” you enquire. His eyes widen for a split second, confirming your suspicions.
“The song,” he starts, struggling to find the right words.
“The Ballad of a Kabukimono,” you reply, a knowing smile on the corner of your lips. “A forgotten tale of a wandering Inazuman eccentric. No one really knows its origins.”
“The melody is different,” Scaramouche states.
You let out a sheepish chuckle, scratching the back of your neck. “Yes,” you admit. “The original felt too somber for my taste. I want to make people feel joy, rather than melancholy.”
Scaramouche huffs, muttering something under his breath. A hint of indignation stirs within you — if he has so displeased with the performance, why did he stay until the very end? He had the opportunity to walk away at any moment, yet he didn’t.
A rebuttal stirs within you, but before you can react, the Inazuman reaches into his belongings and takes out a hefty pouch, throwing it at your feet. The coins jiggle, and you watch speechless as he turns his back to you and leaves without uttering another word.
You stand amidst the scattered coins, confusion deepening. Stooping low, you gather the shiny mora, cursing at yourself for being so caught up in the moment, you had not even thought to ask his name.
The same night, Scaramouche strolls through the now-empty streets. Once bustling, the market now stands quiet and deserted, with only a handful of passersby leisurely walking past the closed stalls. Silence permeates the air.
His puppet body carries a deep ache.
His mission was a success — he had effortlessly infiltrated the nearby treasure hoarder camp, quickly retrieving the stolen Ruin Guard cores, along with a plethora of Fontanian and Snezhnayan machinery. The thieves were caught off guard; and he didn’t even need to rely on his Anemo Vision.
But despite the ease of the task and the triumph alongside it, he feels weariness settle upon his mind. A sense of monotony weighs upon him.
And the lingering melody of the song from his past stubbornly clings to his thoughts. It infuriates him, intensifying the restlessness he feels. He finds himself revisiting the memory of your voice — how it soared, building to a powerful crescendo, how you carefully enunciated each syllable of the language long forgotten.
He passes by the spot where he had witnessed your performance — it’s empty. He mentally chides himself for foolishly believing you would remain there throughout the entire day. The generous sum he had given you, along with the contributions from the other onlookers, would undoubtedly provide you a temporary respite from busking.
He feels a slight twinge of disappointment.
His weary gaze catches the flickering lights of a nearby tavern, the warm glow beckoning him. He heads towards the establishment, hoping to find some form of solace in the warmth and anonymity of the tavern; hoping to dull the ache within his soul with a drink or two.
Scaramouche steps inside the tavern, welcomed by the warm glow of the low-hanging lights. The wooden walls are adorned with paintings of the lush green foliage of Dharma Forest, while grainy photographs of Sumeru’s bustling cities add depth to the surroundings. Lively conversations fill the air — cheery and tipsy voices rise and fall; the noise mingles with the clinking of glasses.
His gaze sweeps across the crowded tavern, searching for a secluded place to settle. His eyes lock onto a hidden nook, and there, nestled in that corner, he spots your familiar figure. You’re sitting there, oblivious to the world, engrossed in your own daydreams, with a glass of a milky, effervescent beverage.
As if guided by an invisible force, he takes a few long strides towards the table and takes a seat beside you.
You look up, startled, but your gaze narrows in a split second. “Well, well, well,” you say, a hint of amusement flickering in your eyes. “We meet again, mysterious wanderer.”
“Mind if I join?”
“Of course, please, have a seat.” As he settles, you take a sip from your palm wine, the milky and powerfully sweet flavors dancing on your tongue. “It seems our encounters are becoming more frequent, no?”
Scaramouche scoffs, and you take another leisurely sip from the drink.
The silence around you carries a hint of lingering tension.
“Say,” you break the stillness. “Would a drink or two make you a better conversation partner?” you lightheartedly joke. “I am willing to offer the first round.”
The male smirks, mischief dancing in his indigo eyes. He leans back in his chair. “Since you’re probably using the mora I gave you for the drinks, I’d say the first round is actually on me.”
“I assure you, the drinks I buy are funded by my own pocket money.” You lean in closer, locking eyes with him.
“Regardless, I accept your offer.”
“Two palm wines coming right up,” you exclaim, already on your way to order from the gruff-looking bartender.
Navigating through the crowd back to the table, you carefully balance the newly obtained drinks. You place them before Scaramouche and sit down. A moment later, you lift your glass in a toast. “Kanpai!” you exclaim in old Inazuman.
Scaramouche’s eyes fixate on yours for a brief moment, before he slowly raises his own glass. “You speak old Inazuman,” he comments.
“A few phrases here and there,” you admit, a flustered look spreading across your face. “I lived in Tatarasuna as a child, and I had the opportunity to learn a bit from the locals.”
The mention of Tatarasuna brings forth a wave of melancholic nostalgia; of fleeting memories of joyous faces, caked in soothe, of cooking lessons and exhilarating sword dances. He closes his eyes and sees the noxious black gas, with its haunting tendrils seeping across the surface of the once idyllic island.
Scaramouche raises his glass to his lips, taking a long, deliberate swig. He struggles to push back the rising tide of memories; struggles to push back the bile rising in his throat.
You notice the somber expression that crosses his face. “I’m sorry,” you say softly.
He meets your gaze, and you observe a subtle shift in his indigo eyes, how they darken. His demeanor is guarded, but in that split second, you see a glimmer of vulnerability. “Tell me more,” he inquires. “About the song, about your life in Tatarasuna.”
You nod, and take a moment to collect your thoughts. Leaning back against the chair, you recount the days of your childhood. You tell him about your parents — true adventurers at heart, with an insatiable thirst for exploration.
“They took me on countless journeys across Teyvat,” you start. “From the rolling plains of Mondtstadt, to the stone forests in Liyue. But those places, so easy to reach, were never enough for them.”
You recount the events that led the three of you to wash ashore upon the rocky outcrops of Kannazuka Island in Inazuma — a botched smuggling operation, led by an inexperienced sailor. You were stuck between two warring states — the Inazuma Shogunate and the Watatsumi Army. Amidst the chaos, a few brave locals defied the Electro Archon’s will, and extended a helping hand.
Within the safety of their village, they shared their crafts with you — under their guidance, you were introduced to the art of pottery, their steady hands guiding yours, allowing you to shape pots that held both practicality and an aesthetic appeal; you learned to weave silk, creating vibrant brocades that told stories of your past. They taught your parents the secrets of tending a garden, how to nurture each plant; they taught them the arts of stealth, of resourcefulness — they’d guide them through the thick forests, teaching them how to identify edible berries and how to track elusive prey without drawing the attention of wandering samurais or the warring armies.
“The villagers shared their stories, their own experiences. They told me about the legendary Mikage Furnace, about its role in shaping the community. But they also passed down folk songs… tales of mythical gods and primordial creatures.”
You take a sip of your drink. “The song I played today, it’s the one that I found the most fascinating. Even as a child, something about its haunting composition and the meaning behind the lyrics called out to me. The villagers themselves had no records of the origin of the melody, but they spoke of this restless longing they would feel each time it was performed.”
Scaramouche stays silent, as you take a moment to savor the last of your drink. You set the empty glass down. “I’ve always found myself wondering about the shadowy figure and his history…”
“Sing the original,” he demands, leaning in closer. “And I will tell you the truth behind the kabukimono.” His lilac eyes lock into yours, holding such intensity that it sends shivers down your spine. You almost squirm under the weight of his scrutiny, but you quickly compose yourself when you notice the raw melancholy swimming in his eyes.
You nod, accepting. “Alright then, I’ll sing the original for you,” you reply, taking a deep breath and letting your voice escape your lips.
The melody merges with the clamor of the tavern, but hidden in your little corner, the noise becomes irrelevant. Several patrons steal a few curious glances at you, their expressions a mixture of confusion and indifference, but they quickly divert their attention elsewhere, finding more interesting distractions.
But Scaramouche listens intently, penetrating gaze fixed on your lips, tracing every movement as the foreign syllables flow.
The final note fades upon your lips, and, completely entranced in the heartbreaking story of the eccentric, you don’t notice the lone tear that escapes your eye, leaving a damp trail down your cheek in the melody’s wake.
Silence stretches between you. Surprise flits across your features at the sight of the watery eyes behind Scaramouche’s stoic mask — he, who had at first displayed such aloofness and indifference, now seems stricken by genuine grief.
“Your song… stirs long buried memories,” he begins with a soft voice, answering your quiet, wordless inquiry. “In a past life, I too knew about the ache of aimless wandering, untethered and alone.”
His words linger in the air, a whispered revelation, one that hints at the depths of his own past.
Scaramouche exhales a heavy sigh, his stoic façade returning. “But a promise is a promise,” he says.
You shift uncomfortably. “Look,” you start, voice filled with concern. “If this brings you pain, there’s no need to continue. We can leave it be.”
He shakes his head, a flicker of determination crossing his features. “The kabukimono from the song… he was a puppet sculpted by the hand of the Electro Archon, intended to house the divine Gnosis. Yet, upon his creation, he shed genuine tears, and in his imperfection, he was carelessly cast aside.”
His words hang in the air, painting a tragic picture of a being cast aside by the very same hands that brought him to life.
“His divine powers were sealed, and he was locked away in a deep slumber,” he continues, voice laced with a mix of sorrow and resignation. “Until a samurai found him and took him in, despite his origins. The puppet formed a bond with the samurai and his companions.”
Scaramouche’s gaze turns distant, as if lost in memories. A sigh escapes him. “But then, tragedy struck. The puppet thought himself betrayed for the second time, and so he left, abandoning the only bonds he’d ever truly known.”
“His life was one of great suffering,” you quietly muse. Still, a doubt nags at the edges of your mind. “But how can you be certain this is the true origin of the song? Akademiya records tell a completely different tale of the Tatarasune Incident…” you trail off.
“The Akademiya is not infallible,” Scaramouche states bluntly, crossing his arms.
“But… the Akasha… the scholars have been able to preserve knowledge for generations,” you counter weakly.
“Not every truth stored is truly truthful,” he retorts. “Perhaps the kabukimono wished for his own story to remain unknown.”
You contemplate his words. “How can you be so certain?” you ask.
A subtle smirk ghosts his lips, and in an instant, clarity washes over you.
“You’re… you’re the kabukimono,” you breathe a sigh of disbelief and awe. The implications settle in your mind like the final pieces of an intricate puzzle. It all fits — the haunting melancholy in his eyes, his intricate knowledge of the past, and his willingness to share the painful truth, no matter how dark it may be.
Scaramouche remains silent, his enigmatic smirk still plastered across his face. It speaks volumes, confirming your thoughts.
Still reeling from his revelation, you meet his inscrutable gaze, a question look in your eyes. “Why reveal this to me?” you inquire, voice filled with caution. “How can you be sure that I won’t go and share this with the Akademiya scholars?”
His grin widens, mischief dancing in his eyes. “Ah, my dear street performer, it’s because I saw a kindred spirit within you. And besides, the Akademiya scholars… their pursuit of knowledge often blinds them to the depth of human experience.”
Scaramouche rises from his seat, the scraping sound of his chair against the chair breaking your thoughts. “It’s time for me to go,” he declares. “But if you’re willing, I can divulge more about the history of the kabukimono.”
You feel a flutter of anticipation at his words. “And what do you ask in return?” you inquire cautiously.
“I wish to hear more of your voice,” he admits sincerely, a surprising vulnerability seeping into his words. “If you are willing, meet me at Pharos Lighthouse, a week from now, before the break of dawn.”
And with that hopeful promise, Scaramouche departs, melting into the inky shadows of the tavern.
You remain rooted to your seat long after he takes his leave, mind reeling from the encounter. Your heart still drums erratically, head spinning, his revelations bringing up more questions than answers.
Ordering another glass of palm wine, you sip, hoping its sweet tones may calm your fraying nerves. You turn the conversation over and over, looking for a different, perhaps a deeper, meaning behind his words.
By the time your glass is empty, a weariness has settled into your bones. You offer a quiet nod of gratitude to the tavern keeper, and exit into the night.
Cool air washes over you as you step into the lamplit street, the ethereal glow of the moon overhead. And as you walk the familiar path that leads to your home, finding solace in the rhythm of the journey, the events of the night replay in your mind.
You make your way home, eager for what the future holds and the mysteries waiting to be unraveled.

The Komi Report - Communication 455
This week in Komi Can't Communicate:
Tumblr media
A little crime...
Tumblr media
...and a little date.
Read It: Mangareader Mangakakalot Viz Media (Now open to the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia!) Mangadex
Lily Sukida was here only a moment ago, how could she miss the yuri date?
We're already on the last day of the culture festival... U_U it's not over yet so there may be more to come, but it seems to be a very short and quiet one for Year 3. Even the traditional Tadano force-fem had to be slipped in quickly without much fanfare... still, if the Sukida emoi surprise attack is the climax of the fun, then that's a damn good high to hit.
This chapter is cute! Some Najimi mischief is always welcome. And the TadaKomi date is sweet. It's more of the same from them, but I don't mind that. I like more of the same, if it's something I like. I've already talked a bunch of times about how much Komi has grown, so I'll skim over that even though I love to see it. I'll also skim over the date since all I have to say is "cute!!!". I'm also ignoring the appearance of a certain individual. I am the ignorer.
Tumblr media
In my mind palace, Tadano goes girlmode permanently. I think it would improve the manga (the bias opinion of a himejoshi). I daydream of a fanfic about Tadano coming out as a trans girl - he helped Komi break out of her shell and become the person she wanted to be, so it would be narratively beautiful for her to turn around and help Tadano do the same. That would be the major arc of the third year if I was writing this
Tumblr media
Komi is with me on this. She'd love it
Tumblr media
Dastardly creature...
Tumblr media
Isagi hype!!! And I forget the name of Isagi's student council subordinate but I'm glad to see her too. Actually, Isagi's term as President ended, right? I guess she moved on to organising paramilitaries. Good for her.
Tumblr media
Tadano always cops it when Najimi causes trouble asjkldbnaljsdnalsdjasdnalskd
Tumblr media
Anytime Komi talks with a different font than her usual soft cursive I go crazy for it.
Tumblr media
Komi should kill. I want her to kill. The girls are out for blood (I'm girls)
Tumblr media
Michita hype!!!!!! You and me both, Michita.
---------------------------------------
Some good news!! You may have noticed up above in the links section, but Viz Media has made their manga available to a handful of countries outside North America. No longer will I have to connect my VPN to servers in Miami to read new Komi as quickly as possible. Weh heh heh (satisfied laugh)
Tumblr media
They also uploaded a few chapters to Mangadex. I don't know what's going on there or if it will continue.
Tumblr media
--------------------------------------------------
A nice chapter (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
It looks like next week is a rest week for Oda, so I'll see you in a fortnight! Until then, stay safe 💞

My predictions for Komi's final 18 friends before 100. I feel we probably have already met all of them so far, so here who I think they'll be.
I don't think I have any wild predictions, but I'm posting this so I can see how wrong I was when the series eventually reaches it's conclusion.
Also, I started writing this before ch. 441 dropped, but the newest chapter has only made me more certain about my first guesses, which brings us to...
83: Maruko Tadano
Tumblr media
Considering the current arc, this one seems pretty likely. We still don't know if she's related to Tadano (though I assume she is), maybe we'll learn next chapter when they inevitably become friends. That is, if the next chapter is about them at the family restaurant along with the next four...
84: Setsuko Hatohori (Egypt); 85: Sakura Sankoichi; 86: Tsubaki Sankoichi; 87: Ajisai Sankoichi
Tumblr media
My theory is that Komi will befriend all the applicants from ch. 437 and we will continue to see them throughout the application process. I'm now even more sure of this after the recent ch. 441 and hopefully we see them again next chapter.
88: Nokoko Inaka
Tumblr media
It's bound to happen at some point, I feel it will happen soon after the current arc but that's just a guess. I believe she's one of the most likely on this list to become Komi's friend, though maybe she'll sign her name a little later on.
Inaka has been around since being in Komi's first-year class, similar to my next entry...
89: Toshio Seikimatsu; 90: Hana Soboku
Tumblr media
Seikimatsu has been around since the start of the manga and was the catalyst for Tadano starting conversation with Komi, that alone should be enough for him to be Komi's eventual friend. I hope he gets to take his girlfriend on a double date with Komi and Tadano like he wants, solidifying both as Komi's friends. They also both were with Komi, Tadano, and Kawai's group in ch. 403 & 402, and Soboku and Komi greeted each other in ch. 430.
91: Lily Sukida
Tumblr media
Another character who has been around for a while. Sukida has popped up a lot so I assume Oda is planning on doing something with her character. Given that she currently doesn't approve of Komi's relationship with Tadano, I assume that will have to be resolved before they become friends.
I wonder if Sukida would have reacted differently in ch. 423 if Komi had questioned her with Rumiko instead of Tadano (she was okay with Tadano pretend dating Rumiko in ch. 433, why not herself?) but I digress, seeing Miss Tadano / Tadano in the girls' uniform again was nice too and perhaps will be part of how they'll later become friends.
92: Goro Suteno; 93: Hajime Gokudo; 94: Yae Hamaki; 95: Makina Kusari
Tumblr media
These four have been in the story since the start of second year and have had an ongoing plotline focused on Katai.
My prediction is that upon realising Katai isn't Komi they'll assume Komi is some sort of delinquent mastermind controlling Katai from the shadows, or something silly like that, and choose to "work for her" (sign her book).
They're not the most talked about when considering possible friends, but I think they have a reasonable chance considering their current thing is, while being a misunderstanding, focused around "Komi." Speaking of characters I don't see often being brought up in these discussions...
96: Miwa Omojiri
Tumblr media
A little outside Komi's normal friendship age range, but she recently befriended Michita so we know Komi doesn't exclude older friends. She's been around awhile, I think she could make a good friend if she had another chapter or two.
She's also the only character (besides Shiina) yet to become a friend who has their name in ch. 416.
Also in ch. 416, in the background, you can see Inaka as well as the next entry...
97: Komorebi Hiki; 98: Susumi Shujo; 99: Aoi Netsuno
Tumblr media
Hiki and Susumi will undoubtably be a friend after ch. 436's last page. I presume Aoi will join them later and also become Komi's friend.
Considering how Oda likes to number the friends I think the order of these three will go "Hiki, Susumi, Aoi;" this is part of the reason why I don't think Hiki will be friend 100. Which leads us to...
100: Muzuka Shiina
Tumblr media
Who didn't see this one coming? I know other people also suspect Shiina will be friend 100, and I agree. I wonder what's holding Shiina back from considering Komi a friend, hopefully we'll see when she inevitably becomes one.
This is all the friends up to 100. If this is where the manga chooses to finish this is how I think the list will go. However, I have another theory...
101: Yo Fuki; 102: Teruyoshi Jimochi; 103: Maheto Haheto; 104: Luna Neguse; 105: Fukuyoka Muchi; 106: Kanchi Gai; 107: Yakugaku Komata; 108: Hamaru Tsubo; 109: Shota Kori; 110: Takaomo Fuechi; 111: Kaoru Fukitsu; 112: Marin Saotome
Yep, I think all the other class 3-1 students will be Komi's friend as well. My theory is that upon almost reaching her goal, Komi will become closer with her classmates and want to become friends with all of them, but can't because of her arbitrary goal. Perhaps Shiina will make her realise that making 100 be the limit is silly and prompt her to become friends with the rest similar to ch. 323.
There are some other characters that could be candidates if Komi made more than 100 friends, but this post is getting long already.
Anyway, that's my silly little theory on who the last Komi friends will be. Hope you enjoyed reading :).
Most of these are pretty safe bets. I wonder what differences other peoples lists have to mine.

SPY × FAMILY analysis Ep.2 pt. 2.1
Mission: 2 - Secure a Wife
~Comparing to Manga~ Chapter 2
The difference between Manga and Anime~ \_(ッ)_\
Now first, we all know that episode 2 has had a opening theme, but since this episode is long, so there's no ending theme in episode 2, but we finally have ending in episode 3, which is a good thing :))
So first, let's talk about the opening song: Source: Internet(some of them, I mostly do by my own.
Mixed Nuts (ミックスナッツ, Mikkusu Nattsu) is the opening song for the first cour of the SPY x FAMILY anime. It is performed by Official Hige Dandism.
Did you know: According to the Wikipedia of SPY × FAMILY: Mixed nuts are a mixture of various nuts such as peanuts, almonds, cashew nuts, and walnuts. However, peanuts are considered a legume and not a nut.
The first teaser of SPY × FAMILY: (Watch this on Youtube)

This is the full song in Romanji:

+The genre of the song is J-pop with some jazz and rock as well as pop. Spy x Family shows off a stylish opening sequence and reveals more of its voice cast, which includes actors from Attack on Titan and FMA.😲
Prelude music~
Starting off with a puddle reflects the cresent moon, which resembles of Agent Twilight (the meaning of Twilight was explained in FACTS post 5), and the explosion in the tunnel. Then we saw Twilight driving the car floating in mid-air to dodge the bullets from the enemies.
Did you know: this Cold War-inspired comedy's opening features an art style reminscent of 1950s and '60s pop art(pretty classic to me :)). The opening is set to the song "Mixed Nuts" by the Japanese pop group Hige Dandism, and shows off the dual lives of the Loid and Yor Forger, and how they are perceived by their new daughter, Anya.
First lyrics: "In this world like nuts packed in a bag, Everyone is snuggling up to someone they meet. We are mixed in there and smiling, By pretending we are all nuts like peanuts." -> "Nuts packed in a bag": numerous types of nuts in a bag, where you are surrounded by various people but in a limited place, but you seem to think it vast. ->"snuggle": to move yourself into a warm and comfortable position, especially one in which your body is against another person or covered by something, to surround with love and care, where you can feel the warmth and coziness with someone you truly care, in Anya's case, it will be Yor and Loid. ->"mixed in there smiling, nuts like peanuts": (now this is very special indeed) it's like a metaphor, a deep meaning in this phrase is the lyrics explained that we looks like smiling nuts, more specifically, peanuts. Peanuts represent happiness and connection, as when you open the shell of the peanut, it always come with a pair or three of nuts but never one, even the Anya design is from peanuts, that's why she loves peanuts, or nuts in general.
+We see the three Yor, Anya, and Loid but in funny drawing, which kinda describes a lot about Anya's childish drawing skill :)) From the lyrics to the art resembles the joyful beat of the music and the art of a "6-year-old" if you take a good look at the first half of the song, before the third lyrics. While Anya is running, Loid and Yor are covering the rain with an umbrella for her. It's like a parenting thing, protecting their children from any risks and problems so that they don't have to worry anything about life, other than high scores, respect and hopes to please them (classic Asian parents :0).

+There's a sequence in orange of a little girl looking alike Anya and Chimora plushie that Anya always carries at 0:15. Next, Anya in her uniform goes exploring the world through different places, and she met at a library. We see in the background is Becky, Damian, and Mr. Henderson respectively. And then that sequence again, but in pink.
+After that, Anya in her other casual outfit, passing Franky's tobacco workshop and humming. Then there's a comic book featuring Anya wearing a mask like the Agent in Spy Wars, and the number 007 is Anya's number when she was at the lab, thinking Dad Liar (loid lies a lot huh); the second comic book featuring a song name I guess, and big word Bang, some Japanese name, and (K)NOW_NAME; and the third comic featuring a lady spy holding a gun and the comic book name is SPYWARS. *Actually, now that I notice, the lady is kinda like Nightfall, are these spoilers for the part 2 season 1 \@0@/! And is that man Yuri!?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
+Then of course we see the Fullmetal Lady, Handler observing and the pink word WISE shows up. After the rain pours, Anya takes out her umbrella, and walking under a beautiful rainbow.
Second lyrics: "On the template of happiness, behind the surface which is literally picturesque, We can't be as we are, even when we put our hands together sitting around a table." -> What we see at the outside of someone or something, it is beautiful like a piece of art, but we will never what the inside looks like. This is true about the Forgers family, Yor, Loid and Anya have to hide their real identity for the sake of eachother. ->We have to hide our true identity, and with a "fake" apprearance, it's nothing else other than a lie as we can't be who we are, even when we are a "family".
+ Then there are sequences of the family visiting many places: the elephant zoo (mostly Green), the aquarium (Blue, Indigo, some Purple), the rodeo? (Red, Orange, some Yellow), the party (Light Yellow, Light Orange, some Light Blue, White), the train station (Dark Rose, Red, Redish Pink), and iceskate (all types of Blue, some Light Pink).

+Then the three are some sort of running out of the TV, like getting back to reality, and Anya looking left and right somewhere...
+Continue the sequence: the chilling afternoon view (slight Orange, Pink, chilly Yellow, some Purple), on the train (I call this romantic Purple, Violet, Pink), view the airplance on the sky (Light Blue, some White), the cloudy beach (Yellow, Blue, White), the flower park (Yellowish Orange, Red, Orange, some Green).

+The family member's favorite relaxing place/leisure activity: Anya: a peaceful pink room with three windows, and a tree bloom some red flowers in the back, Yor: reading a book in the bath, Loid: lying on the sofa drinking some alcohol. Notice that both Yor and Anya ahve some spots pattern, while Loid doesn't. Why? Hmmm
+Below that: swimming with the family (Purple, some Pink), gather around Christmas (joyful Red, White, Light Yellow, shiny lights), the city at night (Indigo, with White & Yellow stars, and dark buildings).
+Then the three at home enjoy their family party, and that's when Loid turns off the lights, the art style changed into more anime drawing style than childish ones.
-> I also realize the meaning of him turning off the lights. The first half of the song in childish drawings represent their daily life on day time, after turning off the lights represent their life at night time, kinda like their dark secrets.

+Third lyrics: "Home with full of secrets and patches, you know? Even though I chew up the real emotions, they still don't disappear, they are still stuck in my teeth. My life is so insecure and drifting, and I know. Every day is so mediocre, but I'm here and so are you. Just by this truth, my stomach feels heavy." ->"Home with full of secrets and patches": Home is always thought to be a safe place where you can hide your secrets from anyone, even the ones you love is it? It's true for the Forgers family as Yor is an assassin, while Loid is a spy, and Anya, who gains mind-reading ability, was subject 007 in the labratory, and the only one who knows the family's secrets. ->Even when "we" try to let alone our real emotions, and false it with the fake expression, they can't be disappeared. ->Because of that, their lives are drifting in insecurance, everyday is always "normal" and boring, but they will always be together. Lieing too much can make your stomach feels a bit heavy, right?
+Here comes the grand and mysterious agent who comes out of the dark, Twilight! And the skillful and beautiful, (sexy) assassin who has a cold face during battles, Thorn Princess!
+Twilight and Yor's action moves are so cool(click link)😩💖 Those 2 have to lie about their secret idenity for their "daughter" by a fake smile, but deep inside is true emotions. Both of their information about their personal background are secret, top secret, ultra top secret, eyes only, and then Handler appears. I wonder what's the meaning of her having one eye reflects a TV?
-> Now I notice: Spoilers already appears in the opening if you take a closer look.
+One thing is certain, they put Anya in a frame with pearls and sparkles, which means they value Anya very much, because she is the key to success in Operation Strix. If Loid had had another child, Operation Strix would be a bit challenging for him, because the kid wouldn't have known about it, and since he/she is still a kid, they would be stubborn and disobey their parents. The worst case, there might also be a divorce!

+ I love Yor's outfits, so stylish and colorful: Watch from this moment
+Then Loid appears looking at the window remembering his past as a spy through harsh training, though I can't see clear the images in his flashbacks.

The end the opening~
Franky Franklin the "ugly" wife :))) (sorry Franks)
"Yeah, i know what you think, the make-up is so cursed lol", even Anya doesn't want "this mama". There was actually a small inner dialogue of Loid in the manga: Though I've met woman who look worse (Is it Karen from ep 1? Also, I hate Karen)
Franky was also angry at Loid of why not giving him the disguise like a face mask or something else, but instead giving him some make-up. In the anime, Franky spoke whispering and he was holding a mirror, while in the manga, he angrily yelled at him. I was like, what if Anya noticed, but well, she already knew that so that didn't bother or surprise her much, but I guess Loid would be a bit panic.
One little different detail is that in the anime, Loid said: Although Anya has passed the written exam in order for me to sneak into the pretigious Eden Academy... I never thought the presence of both parents would be required for the interview... , but in the manga: We managed to pass the entrance exam needed to work our way into Ostania's elite Eden Academy... but we failed to anticipate that both parents would be required to attend the mandatory follow-up interview. That kinda feels different in the manga, as Loid has never mentioned anything to Anya about Operation Strix, so she would never know about it (except reading his mind would do the trick), and in the anime, he mentioned that thanks for Anya's having passed the written exam, he managed to sneak in the Academy. Well, the differences are the manga didn't mention Anya's help, but only written "we", and I don't know if the meaning of "written exam" is similiar to that of "entrance exam".
Personally, entrance exam has various ways to test students to see if they really has a good standards to enter; it could also be a mutiple choice exam, written exam, speaking test or team-building test to see if all of them manage to pass,... or something like that
There weren't much changes of the anime comparing to the manga, so yeah, that's all I could find.
Yor and her colleagues
I know how sassy these little bitches I mean, ladies are, but I just feel so bad for Yor for how naive and single-minded she is. How worrying (no wonder Yuri cares so much about her).
A little difference: Camilla said that her department was robbed, while in the manga, it said that her office was robbed. I dunno if they are the same meaning...
And I guess a booger = snot :/
I feel like Camilla and Millie are mocking Yor, well, Millie's dialogue is a bit different from the manga. She said: She's so out of this world, no guys would ever approach her!, while in the manga: Come back to Earth now and then, Yor, and maybe you could actually meet a man.
In the manga, they wrote: Bachelorette, so for people don't know what that is, it means a young woman who has never married. And the case of that 30-year-old lady being single got arrested is so weird and there's no justice and no proof at all.
When Camilla invited Yor to her party, she reminded: And make sure to bring someone, but in the anime, it was more specific: With your partner, of course.
In the mocking Yor dialogue, they said in the manga: Maybe she could bring the pervert who broke into our office, the anime didn't mention that, but say in general instead: Maybe the buglar would be lured in her. I think they don't want to specific about the "pervert" to make the anime seems less "offensive"?
Yor and her brother's calling conversation
Though this is not the important part, I think the anime removed the phone dialling pic since it was not very necessary.
The order of the dialogue in the anime changed a bit compared to the manga: Yuri called Yor first, then she realized it was her brother, but the manga is the opposite.
The manga actually specifics Yor's job at the cityhall, but the anime didn't.
One more detail about the frame: in the manga, it was only taken the portrait, which is only the top half of Yor and Yuri, Yor still kept her normal hair, and Yuri's face seemed a bit... old? and he wore informal clothes; yet in the anime, it was taken full body, Yor wore an ivory suit, and Yuri wore a black suit. I suppose, this photo was taken when Yuri got the job or he got a good promotion, and Yor was with him at the ceremony.
When Yuri was worrying about his sis, in the anime, the background was still in her room and the window showed the building outside as well as Yor herself, while in the manga, it showed the dark sky with stars.
In the manga, while Yor was struggling about Yuri introduced his sis about a guy, Yor was still sweating a bit, but the anime removed that.
When Yuri said about Mr. Dominic, he said in the manga: Then I'll get Dominic to give me a full report on this boyfriend of yours, in the anime: I'll just ask Mr. Dominic later about what kind of guy he is, then. I think that's like Yuri order him to do so in the manga, like a demand :/
I feel like Yuri was "commanding" Yor, so she was pretty intense and pressured to find a good boyfriend for Yuri's approval. I guess it's true for someone like her, not only hiding her secret identity but also finding a good guy as long as he is approved.
Yor's dark secret: Assassin (coming up)
~Sorry guys for for the delay. I was too busy with school works, and this post was longer than I expected
