Fruit for thought 🍎

Emotional Depth

I want to take a moment to discuss my favorite character in MHA. I think Tokoyami is a character that I would say is very dear to me. I think about what he represents and what kind of person did he have to become in order to control Dark Shadow. I think for me, Tokoyami represents what we all go through nowadays. I would say from my experience, I’ve seen people struggle with emotions and emotional intelligence. I myself do struggle with this as well, and I didn’t know how to cope. I would throw emotional outburst on things that frustrate me or I struggle to think rationally. If you let it control you, you end up hurting yourself and others. I really believe Tokoyami would be a great character to explore in mha. He represents a struggle most people avoid to talk about. I think even Tokoyami himself is a bit afraid to delve deeper in to a discussion about emotional strength. Despite his personal struggles he still strives to find the courage to move forward for the better. 🥀

yeah poor tokoyami's knees buckled at his words and unfortunately for him too, jiro next door also heard him and bursted through her door.

"tokoyami has a crush on y/n!"

her voice startled him and you, also alerting your class members.

yep, tokoyami basically couldn't bare any eye contact with you for a whole month, when aizawa noticed this he paired you and tokoyami in a mission. together, on purpose.

"i like you too tokoyami, uh wanna grab something for lunch?"
