I love being part of a fandom of media that i purposefully haven't seen the ending of

I love Merlin but i haven't seen the last 6 episodes. I'm been in the spn fandom for a decade and i haven't seen the last two seasons. I'm a trekkie and i haven't seen the ending to any of them. I kin will and haven't seen the last season of Hannibal. I'v been obsessed with dimension 20 for about 5 yrs and I've only watched the ending to 2 of the campaigns.

I remember seeing loads of edits on TikTok about merthur in bbc Merlin and then watching it and realising THEY WERE NOT CANONICALLY GAY AND IN LOVE and it broke my heart. Then ARTHUR DIED even though all the tiktoks made it seem like a silly little gay show about a knight and a sorcerer who get a HAPPY ending. I now trust no one.

So you all know how done with people's shit Merlin is in s5. He's done with his nice persona and just outwardly shows his hatred towards Mordred.

I think it would be interesting if one day during s5, Merlin woke up one day and just snapped. He is done with everyone's shit. He turns BAMF as he was destined to be. Anytime something happens he just says fuck it and uses magic. An assassin? Boom, gone. A group of bandits? Not on Merlin's watch. A whole army? Hey, Arthur, look what I can do.

I just need some more BAMF Merlin who takes noone's bullshit. Especially not Gaius' or Kilgarrah's about keeping his magic hidden. He will use it whenever he wants dammit.
