me and Shane living peacefully in our apartment together. I haven't fixated on Arthur in a long time, so it's just been me and Shane. he's delighted and happy and he doesn't have to compete with anyone and he's more relaxed. he has his partner, his love, his baby all to himself.

but suddenly I start having this new guy over. his name is Danse. he's tall, dark, and handsome. extremely handsome. maybe more than Arthur? Shane starts to feel that jealousy bubble up again in his chest, but it's okay, his partner only has the guy over occasionally, he's never over for more than a few hours. Shane still has me all to himself for the most part. uh, wait. the guy is spending the night now? okay that's. that's fine just...oh. hes. he keeps spending the night. I'm suddenly doting on this new guy more and more and more and kissing him and curling up on the couch with him. I'm listening to this guy ramble and I giggle at him, I'm letting him lay his head in my lap. he's being allowed to sleep in mine and Shane's bed. Shane keeps catching me and Danse making out, and he just shuts the door angrily, not being able to bear the sight. he wants to cut off those large, rough hands that keep feeling up HIS wife.

HE WONT LEAVE. HES BEEN HERE FOR MONTHS NOW. SHANE IS FURIOUS. WHY DOES HE KEEP HAVING TO COMPETE WITH GUYS TALLER AND MORE HANDSOME AND MORE INTERESTING THAN HIM? I still dote on Shane and tell him I love him more than anything and I still give him attention but it's not enough. he wants to be the only thing on my mind, the only guy I ever look at. but it's okay. it's fine, really! it's fine because it's what his partner wants. so it's okay. hes just Shane, after all, so it's okay. he should be grateful I still keep him around anyways. he grits his teeth and says "yeah babe, I'm fine. go have fun with Danse." and he spirals and shakes and sees red every time he watches me kiss this other guy and make heart eyes at him and devote all my love to him.

This and Ryan showing up in a marvel movie really tells you how serious they are about making the company grow and truly be relevant.

My favorite route in Dream Daddy has always been Robert’s, not because I find him attractive (he just makes me think “lmao this is just literally what every man in my family is like, myself included”) but because it is rare that a relationship simulator game fulfills my fantasies of “You get into a lot of shenanigans with someone, learn about them and their life, and the good ending is that you decide to become supportive best friends.”

since Elfie grew up living in the forest that's so close to Shane's own house, I do think he's seen her a few times before she moves into the farm. he tries to tell people "I saw a beautiful green woman in the forest. no I wasn't drunk again you have to believe me" but no one does until she's suddenly in that old house and walking around town haha
