What's miras relationship with euphrasie like in your au?

@tealgoat Ooh this one’s a fun one! Overall I’d say on both Mira and Euphrasie deeply care about one another! Euphrasie is proud of how much Mira has grown over mentoring her and just like in canon would do anything to make sure she’s safe ( even if at potential risk to herself, like say being frozen in time to give Mira the blessing to be immune to time freezing) Conversely Mirabelle adores Euphrasie, and holds her in very high regard. (Longer ramble + Spoilers for end game/ post game designs under the cut)

It gets more complicated as the loops go on though- seeing your loved one perpetually stuck saying the exact same lines unable to change hurts. Mirabelle already feels guilty for Euphrasie blessing her at the expense of herself getting frozen, so being unable to help her now with this probably added unto the stress of the situation. Mira in canon game doesn’t feel like she can compare to Euphrasie and holds her on a pedestal, so I feel like those feelings would increase tenfold here in this scenario. In act 5 Mira’s mdp esque counterpart briefly shifts their form to look like Euphrasie and says what Mirabelle personally believes to be true about herself ( That Mira wasn’t chosen, a fraud, and that she shouldn’t have been blessed by Euphrasie in the first place). ROUGH STUFF.

Euphrasie just like in canon game is aware that something is wrong with the timeloops and that things are resetting! She’s aware that something is compelling things to make her repeat the same actions over and over, but is unable to fully do anything to help Mira which deeply upsets her! She wants to be able to protect her protégé.

Post game they both get time to catch up and work things out!! Actually get to talk about what they both experienced- how the journey went, how they changed ( for better or for worse) and how they both agree to take it slow! Healing isn’t linear though so there was a portion of time where Mira felt awkward/ tense when approaching Euphrasie because she’s still used to the idea of the loops could reset auto pilot mode. In spite of that they are both on good terms.

To the people reimagining Siffrin, Loop and MDP as a DID system:

You're onto something there, I really like that interpretation and y'all have fun with that :3

Your sif system (sifstem?) Stuff is really fun, cant help but think about how if you dont have memory of self equipped your loop count will jump by large amounts, and like, what if someone else started fronting in the middle of the loops (assuming sif, loop, and mdp arent the only alters)

Honestly? Even though the Skipped Loops thing is what first inspired this, I mostly have been thinking about the Sifstem (love that name btw) in the post game family adventures (because reasons).

THAT BEING SAID!! I have had thoughts about Siffrin, after getting out of the loop, trying to fill out a diary with all the loops they (plural) remember, and having a lot of loops they just. Can't.

ME. I AM INTERESTED IN MDP HEADCANONS. SITS DOWN IN YOUR ASKBOX

they have a star hovering in front of their chest because they're like halfway btwn loop and siffrin, but the star glitches/pulsates in a way that is very much not like either of them.

the plant on their hat is stuck in a state of wilting and being reborn. forever. looping in time alongside them all.

every word mdp says is underlined by thick static. you have to strain your ears to hear each and every syllable that escapes their mouth, which makes their words hurt that much more.

when mimicking the voices of the party, mdp's mouth unsews itself like a doll. have you ever seen coraline? that's how i imagine it to be. mdp is SO coraline coded

i just like the idea of their pupil being a star. i could probably think of an explanation later but i honestly just think its neat. it also shines like a f150 headlight you can see that from MILES away

stardust follows them everywhere. it is on their clothes and in the air around them. you can't escape the smell of burnt sugar.

their cloak has so many tears and rips.

i don't know if mdp can loop, but i do think they could slow time down significantly. not freeze but. you get where i'm going right

i think mdp would get gender envy from old computers and error/static noises i can't defend this one but i'm right
