Pokemon...I've hatched 6,724 Hisuian Zorua eggs. Please give me my shiny already. I've done everything right, I should have several by now. I'm only asking for one...
The shiny hunting method called the Masuda method gained its name through fans. It’s named after Junichi Masuda, a co-founder of GameFreak, after he reported the method on his blog.
The Masuda method is when you breed 2 compatible pokemon from different regions, raising your odds of an egg hatching a shiny.
Spoiler Warning for names of some pokemon that were not revealed prior to the release of Pokémon scarlet and violet so if you have not finished the main story of the game and are trying to avoid spoilers please do not read this post.
Ok now that the warning us out if the way. I found out that there are some trade link codes set up for getting various desirable pokemon in Scarlet and Violet that are tryingto spread around the community. Those being the starters, version exclusives, and ditto (primarily to try and get a ditto from a language that is not your native language for Masuda method shiny hunting.)
I really hope this ends up getting spread around so that way people will keep using these codes and people that end up getting the game in the coming months will have these codes to get pokemon they otherwise wouldn't have access too.
These graphics were all made by Austin John Plays. The link for the video i got these will be below the graphics. Please watch it as it helps with the etiquette on how to use these codes.
I started Pokémon X three? four? years ago? and once I had beaten the game, I had very spontaneously decided to shiny hunt Joltik via Masuda-method. No particular reason other than Joltik was one of my first foreign 'mons. I think.
As of yesterday morning, Kasim the shiny Flygon has a baby sister~
Hey y’all!!! I just hatched a shiny froakie! It only took me 57 eggs!!! This is also my first shiny that I hatched in gen 9 and the first shiny that I hatched outside of gen 2!! Sorry for the bluriness! I was too excited to wait for my phone camera to stop being blurry.
