Digger would be like you can scratch me bite me punch me call me whatever and sure you’ll gladly indulge on it but you’ll be the one needing after care because it’s so important for you that he knows that he’s loved and cared for that he’s okay at first he’s like no need for that this was good I’m okay but you just won’t let him move out of the bed pulling him tightly into your arms and kissing the top of his head nuzzling your nose to inhale his scent, telling him how much you love him how much you care for him and relishing in the feeling of having him safe and sound in your arms

so first thing first I'm so hard on myself. I myself am someone who has big ambition and a goal oriented person. all of that resulting me giving myself a big pressure and always blaming myself if things doesn't go my way. I'm the "mom friend" and always ready to stand up for people. a blunt person, if I don't like someone, I just show it nonchalantly. I am the type of person that is sensitive about my surrounding. its easy for people to get intimidated by me.

its fairly easy for me to spot and tell what is one's feeling. but on the other side, I really don't care much about people that I am not close to. let's say I dislike a person, I openly show how irritated they made me feel and despite knowingly I pissed them off, I couldn't care less! however, when they are people that I loved and cared for? I openly show how much I care for them.

I talked about me ready to stand up for people, now when it comes to that no matter if I am close to them or not but if I know they have been wronged, I wouldn't think twice to speak up. it's funny and ironic because my friends point out that I have my type which is "a man with protector vibes"

Also I have a confession to make. I know I said I was working on blue lock drabbles. But like. The TR season 2 opening just dropped. I am not the same woman I was 1 hour ago. Episode 13 of bllk will probably kick-start my inspiration for the writing again (hopefully) but I'm hitting a block atm and all I can think abt is TR right now 💀💀. I have actually been so productive this winter break that it's insane. Cleaning, cooking, organizing, writing, etc. It's hard to believe I was the same person as last year tbh. I'm a hoarder and a sentimental sap so I never throw anything away 💀🥲. BUT I got rid of so much unnecessary stuff yesterday and I'm actually kind of proud of myself. I've been meaning to go to the gym again, but finding the motivation is hard, especially in the early morning when I'm drowsy and tired. I saw you posted about Chainsawman !! And during vacay, we were passing by a bookstore... I uh... I ended up buying vol 4 with Aki as the cover. iosjeferijgvierjgv8erjvgoerhg0rehg0rejgre I'm like 30-something hours in and only just now found out I just completed act 1- I THOUGHT ACT 1 WAS OVER AFTER I COMPLETED THE GOBLIN CAMP 😭😭 Which isn't a bad thing cause that just means the game is way longer than I thought, more to enjoy.

I just changed my class from fighter to bard cause I was getting sad always leaving Karlach and Lae'zel out since I didn't need another guy doing heavy hits up front. That plus I was sick of never getting any advantage on persuasion checks. Not sure how I feel about it just yet since I haven't had much experience; I'll def miss my cool armor ; - ;

(fyi I didn't change their classes but adjusted their builds so they'd be more efficient, for instance Asterion basically can't lose at unlocking/disarming a thing cause he has so many advantages now)

Anyways I currently have Gale, Asterion and Shadowheart (was Karlach but brought in Shadowheart since I was curious too see if there'd be any unique dialogue in the Shar temple I'm currently in)

I keep switching out Gale and Wyll, I love them both and am tryna like get an equal amount of both BUT i don't rlly need more than one mage/socerer/whatever at a time ya feel.

The flaming gay va- I mean Asterion is almost entirely just there for unlocking things and disarming traps, man's an absolute twig in a fight 😭 I also like sending him up front to scout out the area in dungeons since I believe he has better perception. Also he was reminding me of someone for so long and I finally remembered what

because i'm still a student (and still learning how things go), i can do some work with it now (which i'm SUPER happy about)!! admittedly, i don't have a ton of experience yet... but that's what this is all for d:) ideally, once i can do the just-work part, i'll be able to go right into it... but there is a decent amount of having to climb up, depending on how things end up going for you!! which is okay with me, too, as long as the work is pleasant. and unfortunately,,, i'm still not quite positive what movies i'm most interested in working on, though i'd love to do something spies, or horror movies, and i also have some hopes for a few documentaries if i can get them to let me do it!!

Windbreaker from the beginning always rubbed me the wrong way but I continued anyway just so I can say I’ve read it and I don’t have to touch it again. It was the same for Lookism except I actually didn’t catch up to the latest.. I stopped at some point bc I always read Webtoon at night and the plot made me fall asleep every time I tried to pick it up again. So specifics1

I think you already touched upon it but I’ll throw my two cents anyway. The female characters are lacking in the development department and rlly used to bump up the male characters plot line. Or to serve one role— a love interest. Even though they rlly don’t need it or it’s just some extra info to look at. “Ah, he has a girlfriend.” In the beginning of windbreaker, the comedy just.. the comedy was the fan service. And It alone just told me this was the perspective from a man. The male gaze if you will. It kind of just made me uncomfortable as I read but things got better to a degree. I also feel like.. honestly my memory of windbreaker is lacking now that I am writing this out. I just know I personally cannot reread it again 😭 Shelly could have had so much more than just being Jay’s love interest.. same for the rest of the girls. And man.. I’m so sick of love triangles. I can’t remember their names but Juno is just- THERE LOL. I’m sure he is suppose to be the supporting cast but Manz is barely there and WHAT DO WE EVEN KNOW ABT HIM

Windbreaker is a badly written romance story disguised as a sports webtoon at this point and we are not here for it!

Honestly, another problem with Windbreaker with its utter obsession with lookism. Not the other webtoon, but the concept of worshipping beauty in general. Like... if anyone is attractive, it must be pointed out and they'll inevitably be more privileged than others in some ways.

The attractive people are the good guys, the attractive people are the protagonists, the attractive people can do anything. It's always the freaking attractive people, like, don't they understand that if everyone is the same around you then no one is special? If they're all attractive then nothing about their appearance helps them pop out.

Even Vinny, whose appearance is supposed to lead to him being bullied, is perceived as attractive. The author is unwilling to commit to the idea of Vinny being portrayed as a character who's seen as conventionally unattractive. So instead he made Vinny a hot guy with weird colouring instead.

June has about as much functionality as Shelly in the story when it comes to racing, They're literally just there to fill up headcounts for the team at this point. Like, don't even get me started on how other guys got plenty of chances to shine but Shelly is always a bit less than them in everything :|

Also, adding to that, I never got satisfied with the additions of her and Dom to the team. They're just randomly added to the team without any trials and tribulations while other guys went through things with each other during RACES.

Beckett Mariner, Star Trek: Lower Decks

Okay, so this is another one that @andromidagalaxie suggested. I watched it all in a day’s time or so, but I can’t really say that I liked it. I liked some things about it and definitely will continue to feature the Black femme characters on the blog, but overall, I just wasn’t really won over.

Basically, the art and some of the jokes did entertain me and I enjoyed several of the references, but the majority of the show just wasn’t for me. And that's fine.

So, the last couple of minutes was just name dropping to let you know that they at least have seen Star Trek in the past. Good First Episode. Doesn't feel like Star Trek, but sometimes animated series do something else. Personally, I'd love a very Star Trek like cartoon with good art (unlike TAS), but, I'll sit with this and see.

And AWWWWWWWWWWWW, Mariner made the white boy feel good. That was nice of her.
