Mamalores AU prompt. Dolores hears a shove and harsh thud followed by a familiar voice crying and someone saying "Madrigal Falsa". With a completely unreadable expression, she immediately stops whatever she is doing and makes her way towards the sound, not uttering a word. Only Mirabel is attentive enough to hear her mama coming, these bullies better start praying for their own miracle.

No but uh, she always has an ear out for Mirabel. Alwayssssss. So the fact those bullies had the audacity to do that and NOT expect any consequences is. Crazy. Absolutely crazy. Shoutout to Dolores for going to Mirabel immediately, she’s fully willing to drop everything to help and defend her.
Mirabel doesn’t even give a warning. Like they better figure it out and put the pieces together before Dolores get there. Or it’s a tragedy waiting to happen 😮💨🤕

Hey, hey hey! Mamaluisa au!
So, this time grownups actually found a vision
Abuela, worried for magic, started to discuss an idea of putting Mirabel on adoption with other adults. They didn't plan to let the kids know, but Luisa walked out of her room at the middle of the night for some reason and accidentally overheard it.
She was not having it
Seeing how her parents didn't protect Mirabel enough, she got mad and was like "You want to give Mirabel to other parents? Okay, well, she's my daughter now"
And Luisa meant what she said. She'd already act like somehow a parental figure for her sister, but now? She claims Mirabel as her own daughter and takes care of her, making sure that Mira is fed, dressed and other stuff. Of course, soon enough Mirabel starts to call her 'mama'. And Luisa squeaks like a puppy when it happens for the first time. She probably comes to the parent meetings and includes Mirabel in the family. Alma thinks that Luisa is being childish. The rest of the family has no idea of what's going on anymore

In Mamalores, how's Antonio's relationships with Abuela? Is he stared of not getting a gift?
*gasp* Another dead AU ask?
I love these!
Alma is very fond of Antonio, even more than she was in canon. This is her first great-grandchild and it wasn’t another girl. She spoils him a lot and showers him with affection, even if she is secretly a little annoyed that Dolores had a child before Isabela.
In saying that, Antonio is still a bit scared of her. He has seen what she’s like with the rest of the family, usually on accident - he just happens to pass by a room and she’s complaining or shouting. He knows she can be strict and… he has Mirabel as an example of what happens if he fails to get a gift.
Not even that, he could end up with an awful gift that everyone hates. His Abuela Pepa shoos away every cloud she makes, his mother definitely hates her gift at times, and they don’t speak about Bruno. How would everyone, especially Alma, treat him then?

Dolores guided Mirabel to her room, covering her eyes as she did. The 8 year old was confused, but still let her guide her.
“Mama? Where are we going?” Mirabel asked, gently touching Dolores’ hands.
“You’ll see,” Dolores said as she pulled her along. After some walking, she stopped and removed her hands. Mirabel looked up and saw that she was in front of Dolores’ door. She looked on confused, then looked back at Dolores in confusion, expecting an explanation. Dolores laughed. “Open it.”
Mirabel raised an eyebrow, and adjusted her glasses, turning to door. Carefully, she turned the knob, and opened the door.
“Surprise!” Mirabel’s eyes widened as she saw her Abuelo Fèlix, Abuela Pepa and Camilo in Dolores’ room. They were standing around what looked like a small party set up. She was speechless. Had they really remembered?
“…huh?” Was all Mirabel could utter before Dolores pushed her into the room, closing the door behind her. Mirabel continued to gawk in awe, Camilo slamming into her with a tight hug.
“Happy birthday!” He said, and he pulled back, beaming at her. “I got you something!” He said and turned, picking up a small box crudely wrapped in yarn. Taking the box, Mirabel opened it and blinked for a second. It was new bow. An orange one.
“Do you like it? I saved up a ton of money to buy it,” Camilo smiled. Mirabel blinked at him before she nodded quickly.
“I-I love it!” She said, laughing disbelief. Pepa and Fèlix walked up to her next and handed her a flatter, slightly bigger box.
“This one’s from us,” Pepa said, smiling as the girl carefully opened the container. She pulled out what looked like a orange version of her usual blue dress.
“We know that you’ve been using Dolores’ old dresses, so we thought that maybe you could use a new one. You know, one for yourself,” Fèlix explained.
“Now we can match!” Camilo cheered, showing off his ruana, which was the same color.
“This…is amazing! Gracias, I’ll put in on right now!” Mirabel said and was about to leave the room before she was stopped by Dolores.
“Where you going?” Dolores asked.
“To the nur—my…to the room. To change,” Mirabel said. Dolores laughed. “Mama? What’s so funny?”
“That’s not your bedroom anymore!” Dolores said as if it was obvious. Mirabel look confused and Dolores laughed again. The fourteen year old pulled Mirabel to the other side of the room, to an area she had never seen before. And she had been in her mama’s room plenty of times.
It was another space, like another section of the room. There was a bed, just a size smaller than Dolore’s own, and it was…dressed in Mirabel’s sheets, along with her stuffed animals. Looking around she could see another dresser and vanity, lined with Mirabel’s thing that had previously been in the nursery. To the side, the was a desk, much bigger than her old one, that had her sewing machine and craft supplies. A giant curtain seemed to be pinned on each end, giving her the option of privacy. There was a couple other things as well, but Mirabel didn’t seem to pay attention to them in the moment. To her, this looked like…
Another room.
“What’s…what’s all this?” Mirabel asked, and she felt her throat get dry. No way she did all this.
“Yours,” Dolores said simply, and placed one last thing into Mirabel’ arms; a new blanket that was orange in color.
“Mine?” Mirabel asked in disbelief as she looked around again.
“Yours.”
Mirabel said nothing as she stared. Tears welled up in her eyes and she began sobbing. Immediately, the warm family was all over her, seeing if she was alright. Mirabel cried for a moment more before she wiped her eyes, and gave a wet laugh.
“I’m fine I just…I love it. Thank you, all of you! I thought you would’ve forgotten,” Mirabel said. She hugged Dolores, her wonderful mama. “Gracias mami.”
“De nada, mija,’ Dolores said softly, hugging her back.

I don't want it to sound mean or anything, but... I don't understand the Mama Dolores AU... I don't mind, if anyone likes it, but how it started? Out of all X Madrigal adopts Mirabel this one is... just the one can't see it happening...
Can I just ask... where it came from? Why Dolores out of all people? I can understand Bruno, Isabela, Antonio, Pepa... heck, even Alma, but Dolores? Didn't she, like, snitched Mirabel out twice in the movie? I can see them being close, but not as mother and daughter.
I just want to know the backstory of this AU-
Hey all good! So um. The original Mamalores (there are a few version, but personally I default to the classic), from what I see, is basically Mirabel having followed Dolores around, even before her ceremony, like a duckling. Dolores was like 'oh cool I'm. Adopting her now). It's definitely OOC, don't get me wrong, but I think it's cute.

"Easy there mi vida. You're carrying precious cargo now." Felix said kissing his wife's cheek when she moved to stand and get a plate.
He slid a plate of her favorites in front of her whole she laughed a bit.
"Felix I'm literally just holding out grandchild. You're acting like I'm pregnant again." Pepa said smiling at him as she moved Mirabel to be resting comfortably in one arm so she could eat with her other hand.
"She's still precious cargo, some of the most precious cargo in the world." Felix said kissing his wife's cheek again and then kissing Mirabels tiny head.
"Mama can I have my baby back now?" Dolores asked smiling exasperated at her parents.
"Awww but I wanna cuddle and feed my nieta." Pepa pouted.

Mamalores: Mirabel exposing everyone except for her Mamá, Bruno, Agustín, Julieta, Félix and Antonio since they didn't make her mad.
"You know my prima Isabela doesn't like you like that Mariano so throw that flower away."
"Wha- What you mean, I- wait." Mariano stutter in disbelief, feeling a little hurt.
Little Mirabel sigh before turning to face him. "she doesn't want five kids, she hates your poetry because she said it sucks, she thinks your singing is bad, that's not her favorite flower, you both don't know each other well and lastly she said she doesn't want to marry you." With that she left him feeling hurt and dumbstruck.
Mirabel found her next target, Luisa crush, Marco Hernandez the town Baker.
"Good Evening Marco." She said to him as she sat on the stool inside the bakery, there weren't many people since the sun going down.
"Ah the little princess of mama bear came to visit my humble bakery, what would you like little princess, the same one or a different one." Marco said taking his notebook out, waiting for her to order.
Mirabel shook her head making him putting his note book back. "I know I'm not supposed to tell you this but I overheard Luisa telling Isabela that she has a major crush on you, Luisa thinks your are handsome and wish to marry you one day."
Marco blush, he to has a crush on Luisa. "Really that's nice, what else you know."
"I know she daydreams about you, she also draws you in her notebooks and writes about you. Luisa is madly in love with you but she's afraid that you'll reject her love for you."
"Well then little princess I got a secret to tell you, promise to keep a secret." Mirabel nodded her head making him smile.
Marco pretend to think for a moment. "I was planning asking her out tomorrow and I want ask you if it's ok that I can date your cousin Luisa."
Mirabel doing the same thing what Marco had done. "That's perfect because tomorrow is her birthday, don't worry I'll write down everything she likes and dislikes."
Mirabel again went to find her next target after writing down the things her cousin likes and dislikes for Marco After looking around she found a perfect target, Ana Muñoz and Maria Lopez, both of them are Camilo girlfriends, sadly one being cheated on.
She ran up to the best friends that were talking, they both stop talking and look at Mirabel.
"I have to be quick but I want you to know what my uncle Camilo had done behind your back Ana."
"What you mean little one?" Ana said, Maria feeling concerned.
Mirabel twisted her little feet then took Ana hands into hers. "My Uncle Camilo cheated on you with Maria, that's why he came up with different excuses and that's why he send me to give you a bouquet of flowers to you Ana, that goes same to you Maria."
"What!" Both girls exclaims.
"I thought it was about you going out of town for three weeks with Cami but turns out that was Maria going out of town, I wanted to say something but I didn't think it was a big deal."
"Omg that nasty boy, he cheated on me with my own best friend."
"I can't believe him, I'm sorry I didn't know he was dating you, he told me I was single."
"I'm not mad at you because you didn't know but I'm mad him and I wanted to slap him but maybe tomorrow since it's getting late."
Both girls thank Mirabel and gave her some candy. The little child later found her another target Sofia Rodriguez, the town gossip and a friend of her hers, too bad it's gonna be her ex- bestfriend.
"Oh hi sweet child, what brings you here to my vase shop, did your Abuela Pepa likes the free gift I gave her." Sofia ask Mirabel when she saw her enter the shop.
"No, my Abuela Pepa didn't like it. Mirabel abruptly answer the lady question.
"What you mean she didn't like it." Sofia whisper, feeling pain of betrayal.
Mirabel gave the lady a hug after seeing her tears falling. "All the free vases you gave her had broken, she never like it because she said it's ugly and you gave her only the ones she didn't like."
"I wish that she gave it back and could told me that she don't like it or want none." Sofia said, trying to hold her tears in.
Mirabel shook her head and patted her head as a mother would do.
"She also said the reason why you got less customers because your vases are unattractive colores, ... don't worry about my Abuela Pepa, she loves expensive things so she's a gold digger, she just got a bad taste but I think it's beautiful, I don't see anything ugly."
Sofia hug the little girl thanking her for saying something, Mirabel returned home with bags of sweets and fresh breads from Marco, lots of candy from Ana and Maria, and lastly a small pretty expensive vase with red and gold colors. By the time she reached home, she was greeted by Dolores.
"Te Amo Mamá, I had fun."
Dolores took the items from her daughter's arms and send her off to bathroom, she wait for her to close the bathroom room before going to the kitchen.
"That's my little girl." Dolores whispers to herself, smiling as she cutting up onions.
Rule you must remember, never make Mirabel mad because she can be like Dolores.

"Guess what mama?" Dolores asked her mother with a smirk.
"What is it mija?" Pepa asked smiling as she looked up from her book immediately to give her baby girl her full attention.
"You're an Abuela now!" Dolores said pushing little Mirabel in her tiny red dress to the red head.

Pepa looked at her daughter, than towards her sobrina...nieta? Then back to Dolores.
Her hija...has a daughter...who is also her prima?
"Dolores, mija, what do you mean?" Pepa closed her book, trying her best to keep her cloud at bay.
"Mirabel, she's mi hija!" Dolores smiled happily.
"Can you...explain?" Pepa pushed.
Dolores nodded and turned Mirabel so she faced her. Mirabel simply smiled cluelessly, having no understanding what her mamá just said.
"Mirabel, who am I?" Dolores asked.
"Mamá Lola!" Mirabel beamed as she hugged Dolores legs.
"See?" Dolores said as she hugged Mirabel back. Pepa simply stared for a moment, fully processing the situation. Her daughter, just obtained her prima as her child, and now she's an Abuela.
Pepa sighed and smiled, slight concern present on her face.
She did want to be an Abuela at one point.

maybe you can draw mamabuela, mamabel, papatonio, pamamilo, mamalulu, mamalores, and mama Isa conversating about babies, extended unrelated family, how tired they are, you know parent conversations and then a baby cries and their all like
"I got it"
And it's just a whole 5 minutes of-
"no you don't have to do it"
"no, you should relax"
"I'll handle it"
They don't even know who's baby it is they just want the baby to feel better. I have this headcanon that the parentified grandkids and mamabuela have a house to go to for just hanging out or guidance. The baby eventually gets cared for by mamabuela.

How would mamabel, Papatonio, Mamalores, Papamilo, mama luisa(wait that's someone else's AU...? Do you have your own version? I forget.), and mama Isa react if they all met, with their kids in tow? Also, well we ever see more from the lilo and stitch AU? And what if Isabela had had an easier time growing dangerous plants from the start, but had difficulty growing safe things? Like, she could try, but it'd have thorns or toxins within a few days.
Before we get started, I helped write Papamilo and Mama Lulu, but the ogs are:

Mamabel and all 31 of her kids? They are shocked, but its not a complete surpise. Mirabel always loved entertaining kids, and it was expected she'd pick up some, they just didn't expect...so many. But, the more the merrier!
As for Papamilo, he was expected. Even with I many kids; he was basically the town babysitter, so the fact that had all sort of grown attached to him and see him as a parent, it was no surprise at all.
Mamalores, they sort of thought she'd take in Antonio, but not Mirabel. The others are low key disappointed in the adults, but they're glad someone like Dolores stepped up to the task.
Mama Lulu, was probably the most surprising, even more than Isabela. Luisa had always been so busy, and she valued the praise she got from Abuela for working so hard. So the fact that she dropped all that just for Mirabel? It was definitely not expected, but they all find it endearing.
Papatonio, they are FLOORED. The fact that his universes treatment of Mirabel got so bad to the point that Mirabel had disappeared (presumably dying) and coming back to ten year old Antonio, was not the best look for them...but Anti KO always loved and cared about Mirabel as a child, so the fact that he gets to raise her, it was nice.
Mama Isa, they were happy for her. The fact that she got to escape the Encanto and leave with her children, and raise them to be happy, they love it. None of them had the guts to do that, no so far anyway. The low key look up to her.
Bonus:
If they meet Papa Mariano, they didn't expect him at all. He's not even a Madrigal, so the fact that he managed to claim to of them as his children? They're a bit skeptical but over all respect him for stepping up to raising them. If its werewolf Papa Mariano, they have idea what to say. That's another can of worms.

Isabela would probably be pressured by Alma to kept the toxins to a minimum, because God forbid she has something un perfect.
