I'm gonna tell you what saddens me about Miwa calling herself "useless" and admits to being scared.
One, she's a child who chose to be a jujutsu sorcerer so she can help with her brothers. Two, despite her fear, she still doesn't punk out. Keep in mind, Satoru stated in the beginning how other jujutsu sorcerers would drop out because they can't stomach their fear and disgust.
But here is Kasumi Miwa who will keep her fear in check just she can still fight curses.
Keep in mind, Miwa was the first person in the story to actually get in close to Kenjaku to attack and risk not swinging a sword again. Kenjaku, who I'm sure she just seen dodge a bunch of arrows, stop a bullet and beforehand threw a bunch of curses at Yuji.
BUT MIWA TOOK A RISK!! She isn't useless. Being useless would have been just standing there.
Oh, it doesn't stop there because in 258, Miwa (it looks to be her) protects Maki from Sukuna's attack!!
We didn't even see her until this moment. She jumped in to protect Maki. "Useless", my ass.

Her speed caught Maki off guard, the latter’s sword just barely rising to block in time. Clashing for just a moment, she broke free from their standoff and continued her assault, forcing them to stay on the defense.
It was a fight now, and she could see both of them lighting up as they kept going. As they exchanged blows, Rinko limited swapping whenever things got dicey. A laugh bubbled in her chest when she saw that Maki and Megumi were having fun. She could tell from the looks in their eyes.
Releasing a grunt when Megumi finally managed to knock her backward, she barely twisted under Maki’s swing at the last second. Working together, they forced her to keep retreating, and she just missed their subtle nod to each other.
Two swords were at her throat when she swapped, smirks on both their faces as she realized what they’d done.
“Stance is better,” she noted, nodding to Maki as the girl rolled her eyes.

I had to reread 251 because for a second, I thought Yuta's DE got let down or something because I wondered how did Maki get there?
But then I realized there was a giant hole formed at the top that had to be created by someone.
I knew Yuji punching through Mahito's DE would come back! Maki crashed through Yuta's DE!
And she would be the third person to invade one. First, Yuji. Then, Toji. And now, Maki!
EDIT: And before anyone else goes "she already did that".
Ah! It doesn't mean her crashing through another DE any less cool. I find anything Maki is capable of doing awesome and I don't care how many times she does it.
One, sometimes pointing out details someone may or may not know can deter the praise someone wants to give a character. Sometimes, let someone enjoy what their favorite is doing.
Two, sometimes others can forget something from a manga, anime, or anything else they're engaged in. It's why we do rereads. Or they're just not caught up. That doesn't mean if you're going to remind them of something, you must treat them like they're stupid. Don't do that.
Also, last time Maki was able to overcome a DE (against Naoya) she wasn't shown actually going into the DE. She could have possibly crashed into it, but again that wasn't shown. So she could have been already inside the DE.
My post, this one here, was talking about how her, Yuji and Toji was able to invade one... go into one.

omg yes okay listen be patient you'll start loving them too they're very badass and the gojo arc you're looking for is his past which will be covered in s2 first 5-6 episodes available now and remember after that watch the jjk 0 movie and then continue the s2 and it'll make SENSE (ask me if you have any doubts) also these trio are modern day trio equivalent of gojo's past, ivy trust me every character and their story the more you'll get to know them the more you'll like them

Anyway gege is a real one for drawing everyone ugly to mid looking
#like you can tell a few characters (gojo utahime mai&maki that angel girl etc) are meant to be pretty#but they are the EXCEPTION and not the rule. and also they are drawn making ugly facial expressions and generally in gege’s ‘ugly’ spiky#art style (which i like a lot by ugly i mean that it doesn’t make anyone look pretty lol#but then most characters even & especially the main ones (nobara megumi Yuuji yuta#geto as previously mentioned yuki shoko etc are all a 7 at best facial feature wise#i mean like yuki is an 11 but thats just bc she’s powerful and stompy and badass. but like face wise. shes very normal looking i feel#and idk its very refreshing compared to how everyone in manga is always megapretty for no reason#personal#jjk
