So, I watched the new season of dragon prince and I'm gonna be honest... It felt pretty lackluster to me.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like this was the weakest season of the show. It was just... off. The pacing felt weird, a lot of the jokes didn't really land for me and I was definitely expecting something more after a three year wait. There certainly were good scenes and fun moments and character interactions but as a whole it just didn't quite do it for me.

I understand that this new season is more of an introduction into a new arc of the story and they are setting new things up, but I feel like they did a much better job in season 1 than they did here.

Sure hope that season 5 will be better

i am going to take this opportunity to address the number one problem i find with fanfiction (and the source material too!! theyre not safe either) about sports animes/manga (blue lock in particular bc ive been obsessed recently).

now it’s not really a problem, but it just irks me. i just get annoyed by it. it makes me want to throw my toaster at the wall, which is bad because then i won’t have any toast to eat (i hate toast). okay, getting on with it:

WHY DO PPL ASSUME THAT SPORTS ANIME/MANGA MCS DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS IN A ROMANTIC WAY????

like if it’s like,,, hinata from hq i would understand, bc he’s like a ball of anxiety and probably didnt know that women existed until he went to school. but like,, isagi??? nahhh. you’re done. he was literally the most popular kid at his school, there’s no way he doesn’t know how to flirt or smth. when characters like this are portrayed with zero knowledge of females, it makes me go 🤨 bc on god this man has been confessed to before.

AND ANOTHER THING

if they do know how to talk to girls how come they’re always framed as playboys?? not everyone who can flirt is a playboy, stop giving us flirts a bad image please. as a competitive swimmer i love flirting with people but im not dating 6 ppl at once, so please stop this sorcery. especially if they’re in high school, since that makes it feel so creepy.

like i understand that sometimes it gets played up by the author for laughs, but most male athletes talk to girls a lot, and vice versa. nobody is going to be blushing red and having a mini heart attack bc they’re talking to another gender, especially as an athlete. WE HAVE LOW RESTING HEART RATES SO IF THAT HAPPENS ITS LITERALLY BAD??

and on the other hand, we don't always want to date random ppl who talk to us, or seduce them. most of the time we just wanna talk. is that so wrong?

for the two to get to know each other. hyutai was summoned to do a mission that is about a yokai kapa that are devouring the children of the neighboring village as hyutai is an improvement of the division. then chaga village got stuck with a kapa but it wasn't division of the forest just kick in the skull and it already killed more appeared more then he keep killing the kapa but he saw a huge explosion then hyutai ran to see what explosion that was. at the chaga he saw a somewhat amused girl who had pale pink hair and an eye with an x-shaped abopila that was cherri bomb. hyutai well am that it was a kanji using a dark art but as soon as he arrived to attack cherri bomb then threw a bomb at hyutai but he kicked like a ball. but when she saw hyutai up close she was enchanted by his beauty so cherri bomb was wanting to talk to more hyutai was just prepared to attack. so cherri bomb used a special bomb that made people melt so hyutai ended up igniting the smoke from the bomb then he faints. after what happened hyutai ends up sleeping in a bed and saw that he was in a house. so cherri bomb tansendo a food more hyutai gets up and gets ready more cherri bomb says that there is no hand to attack him in hyutai was calm. cherri bomb gave me a drink maii hyutai thought it had poison but cherri said don't worry because there was nothing in the drink. so hyutai says her name to her and cherri says her name too but hyutai can't pronounce that name so he thinks it's better to call it uzami and accepts that name. next art I will continue with the story I hope you like it and bye.
