Behold!

My second ever litography print. I post the final poster along with the sketches in my sketchbook. The final piece is a format B1 so it's pretty huge. And I'm so happy with it!!

Ahh.... We can take litography classes at my uni and I'm thinking about taking them again next year. There's just something so magical about this technique, the whole process... And I didn't even have the time to explore all the fun stuff I could do with it!

DAY 8 of the Mystical Lands Project painting is "The Faraway Tree". As soon as I finished painting this I thought of the Enid Blyton series of Faraway Tree books. I loved Enid Blyton books and always hoped one day I'd find the magic Faraway Tree and get to climb up into it and visit the little houses. 😊 📚If you haven't heard of the books here's a little introduction: "The stories take place in an enchanted wood in which a gigantic magical tree grows – the eponymous 'Faraway Tree'. The tree is so tall that its topmost branches reach into the clouds and it is wide enough to contain small houses carved into its trunk. The wood and the tree are discovered by three children named Joe, Bessie and Fanny who move into a house nearby. They then go on adventures to the top of the tree."📚 Size of this painting is 7 x 5″, acrylic on paper and presented in a 10 x 8″ white fade resistant mount so you can pop it directly into a standard ready made frame. WhatWeb Next generation web scanner WhatWeb identifies websites. Its goal is to answer the question, "What is that Website?". WhatWeb recognises web technologies including content management systems (CMS), blogging platforms, statistic/analytics packages, JavaScript libraries, web servers, and embedded devices. WhatWeb has over 1800 plugins, each to recognise something different. WhatWeb also identifies version numbers, email addresses, account IDs, web framework modules, SQL errors, and more. WhatWeb can be stealthy and fast, or thorough but slow. WhatWeb supports an aggression level to control the trade off between speed and reliability. When you visit a website in your browser, the transaction includes many hints of what web technologies are powering that website. Sometimes a single webpage visit contains enough information to identify a website but when it does not, WhatWeb can interrogate the website further. The default level of aggression, called 'stealthy', is the fastest and requires only one HTTP request of a website. This is suitable for scanning public websites. More aggressive modes were developed for use in penetration tests. Most WhatWeb plugins are thorough and recognise a range of cues from subtle to obvious. For example, most WordPress websites can be identified by the meta HTML tag, e.g. '', but a minority of WordPress websites remove this identifying tag but this does not thwart WhatWeb. The WordPress WhatWeb plugin has over 15 tests, which include checking the favicon, default installation files, login pages, and checking for "/wp-content/" within relative links. I was told that 3/24/20, which would make my due date 12/24/20~~this of course was when doctors weren’t seeing anyone because of the pandemic; I even wrote a letter to jakk’s work telling him I was pregnant. This is how I ended up gaining 20 lbs, because they kept telling me I needed to eat for the baby. So yeah. I did finally get to the doctor when I was supposedly 4 months pregnant. That was a hard day. That’s when I finally stopped taking the pre-natal vitamins.)
