Probably shouldn't have taken a month buuuut (motivation issues lol)

i got it done in a night! fixed some things like Mimi, Spy and Saxton AGAIN, and finally drew the blubbery boi/gorl/fren to cap it all off! Maybe i overdid it with the lashes on the Seal but i really like how silly Spy looks here so LMK what you would like changed!

Ill probably do pursue some other projects before i get to colouring/shading/rendering this behemoth but yayyyy yippeee lineart done kill me so happy!

Huge TY to LycanTrin for their super helpful References, if you are a TF2 fanartist and havent used these refs yet i highly recommend them!

Do you have any tips for drawing the freaks? Despite being a tf2 fan for years I had no idea how to draw any character and at this point I'm too afraid to try

Exaggerated expressions and body language. If you're struggling to draw the tf2 characters themselves then Lycantrin on Twitter has references like this that are pretty useful. I learned to draw them from just redrawing SFM video screenshots.

It can be hard to combine the sfm style with your own, but with freak fortress you don't have to worry about it. It's supposed to be silly and stupid so just go wild and have fun with with it. Make stuff up if you need to.
