Weird girl and her himbo husband
Lutta's eyes are green-tinted because there's a passage in To Be a King where Hoole sees her next to the ember and notes that they seem to be made from the same stuff.
There was something strange about this owl. Her intensity almost unnerved him, yet she was fascinating. She stirred in him something vaguely familiar. A confusion of feelings. It suddenly dawned on Hoole. She’s not unlike the ember.

i have been entirely gahoolebrained for years and years and recently it's been all i can think about (again) so i figured i'd make a sideblog for ga'hoole and occasionally other animal xenofiction.

Something's been bugging me.
So you know how To be a King had Lutta? Someone that everyone only "knew" about during her adult years?
How did the writer know about her childhood? It can't have it been Lutta herself. And it can't have been Hoole since he didn't know who she was truly
Did Keeth keep notes in her lab about her? If so, why did she include her parents reactions? How did she know how she was feeling to that point of accuracy?
