Kind of tired of the "you need to take care of yourself by YOURSELF" notion a lot of mental health influencers keep preaching about. Kind of miss when neighbors would cook you food when they knew you were going through a rough time. Kind of reminiscent of when an uncle or aunt from the neighborhood would take you out of a tense environment to help you sort out your emotions. Kind of wish for the chaos that was gatherings of people coming in and out of your home, helping with chores, filling the empty space with laughter.
I hate this thought that we have to overcome loneliness with loneliness. That we have to overcome overthinking with overthinking.

Blamed and bullied Kdin, who was abused by her place of employment for years, for said abuse while making excuses for your faves who made years of her life hell.
Ignored the many, MANY, animators and employees at RT, who were abused, laid off, and in some cases, DISABLED, by the awful working conditions there just for your dumbass show to continue at their expense.
Made comparisons between RWDE posters and NAZ*S. Who fucking does that?? There's a fucking screenshot of someone on Reddit literally claiming that if H*tler was a RWBY hater, WE would hang Swatzik*s to support him. FUCK YOU.
And right back to now, comparing real casualties of war to a fucking show as a gotcha to people you do not agree with.
I hope that you assholes find a conscience soon for your own sake. Because if this is part of your legacy, may you fucking rot in hell.

Everything's good.
Those soft brown hues looked over his new home. A small town just close enough to the city in case he needed a change of pace. As always, Lord Quas is by his side, happy to have been apart of Chris's journey. What was once an unsure young man had grown into the confident man you see today.
Scars from various adventures decorated his arms but he wore them as a badge of honor. Proof of his journey to becoming a full witch like his family. Despite saving many towns and even a few dimensions, Chris remained humble and would easily tell you 'Eh, I just played a small part'. For all his statements of not being too important in history books, many citizens could tell you many tales about Chris Luna.
The kind witch who'd always have a sweet treat for you.
Finally, Chris smiles as he reaches the bakery. Looking over his family and the new employees that helped their regulars. He takes a minute to appreciate every small moment like this, remembering all the steps it took to get here.

Brain ended up trying to draft some first looks for teen Marion & Luna in the magic retold
Both of them second years at alfea at this point
Luna is a bit more carefree and chill about unlocking her fairy forms and chill about her homeland in general
Marion is strict with not only herself but also with her roommate and is absolutely shitting herself in silence over fairy forms and royal studies
These two are both blunt but it helps as they don’t really have to hide anything from each other!

Lunafreya Eclipsum - Fairy of Moonbeams (Future Guardian of the Seleneites and Future Queen of Solaria)
She’s around 17 here her hair is much shorter and messier since she hasn’t unlocked her full potential and magic prowess yet
It’s also more of a light brown slowly turning into blonde as she grows
Loves wearing things that are loose but still show she has style (Stella got that from both Luna and Radius)
Also wears a lot of accessories for fun!
Luna is blunt, doesn’t care a lot about consequences of her words. But she will make it up to you if she hurts you
She’ll help others with their relationship problems or just be there if they want to talk.
She’s straight faced but really kind!

Now for Marion!
Mariona Ylise Cadenza - Fairy of the burning flame/dragons flame (Crown Princess of Domino and future guardian of said kingdom)
She’s stoic, doesn’t speak unless spoken to most of the time.
Marion tries to keep a low profile at Alfea since she’s crown Princess of one of the most rapidly increasing kingdoms of the magic realm.
So she wears casual clothes, making sure it’s in deep blues or greens to keep her unknown but still blending in with others.
Her hair is still it’s bright flipping ginger, but it’s more straight and less curly since she hasn’t unlocked her full potential yet
Same with her confidence and pride! It’s a work in progress!

it’s 1:30am, and i’m feeling weirdly nostalgic for dine-in pizza huts and their tacky glass lights and salad bars and “please wait to be seated” signs.

Still haven’t seen Episode 3, but I did get to rewatch episodes 1 and 2 with my father-in-law. And y’all. He was smiling and happy the entire time. He was so proud that Diego Luna, a Mexican actor, is the lead and the show is actually good. Seeing him so happy and proud of Diego Luna made my heart swell.
