Singer Rain and Rain's former agency, JYP Entertainment, won a lawsuit claiming compensation for damages related to a performance in North America.
On the 9th, the Seoul High Court judged, "Wellmade StarM is the one responsible for the cancellation of the concert in North America," and "JYP Entertainment and Rain do not have to return the 10 billion won paid in advance."

And because of many other things JYP Ent had been having a rough time.
For reference, their sales (at the time were:

At that time, Loen invested in JYP, and got JYP’s shares in return.
With the 25.4% of the company’s stock, it immediately became the 2nd largest shareholder.
Back then (around 2013), Loen was owned by SK, but when the laws got revised, Loen was sold to a Hong Kong-based private equity fund.
(Loen was a music distribution company that monopolised the online music distribution market and paid very little to entertainment companies for it, so entertainment companies united and moved their online music rights distribution to KMP Holdings.
Although Loen was the 2nd biggest shareholder in JYP Ent, JYP Ent. also participated into the movement. It was okay when Loen was under SK, because Park Jinyoung is acquainted with the SK Group family, but when it was sold to the Hong Kong-based private equity fund, the confrontation intensified.)

Either way, at the time Loen, which wanted to grow as an entertainment company, opposed JYP Ent’s listing on the stock market and proposed a take over.

And with that he bought the JYP Ent stocks (currently, Park Jinyoung is the largest shareholder).

Is My House: the legendary male-idol case of climbing back the charts.
Originally back then, they were supposed to have promos for a month. After a relatively long promo, they were planning to go back to Japan, but an MV director called Han Samin flaked on them with the intention to film a Big Bang MV.
Naive Production went “oh poor you” and shot the MV in a hurry.
Eventually, My House had just one week of promos, but it climbed back the charts way later, so there’s a happy ending in that.
That was when the JYP Ent ❤ Naive relationship started.
Right now the fandom attitude [to Naive] is not good, and they’ve also had quite a few mishaps over time, so they don’t have such an all encompassing reach as before but they’re still filming MVs on the Japanese side (mostly for NiziU).
Now I’m really done talking about the times when the world was chewing on JYP Ent.

Unfortunately, I couldn't complete my goal to reach chapter 300 today. I've read for a total of 4 hours and I literally have 5 more chapters to reach my goal, but yet again, it seems my eyes want to close and embrace the loving arms of dreamland, so I shall acquiesce.
So, what happened today? Uhhh where were we... Xio found clues to Mr Lanevus, which led Miss Audrey to informing Mr Fool. Which led to Klein, disguised as a Clown, to fulfill part 1 of his revenge and kill that son of a bitch. Klein fully digested his potion, all that's left is to gather the ingredients for Sequence 7. And he already has that covered, thanks to Mr Sun and Mr Hanged Man. Hmmm what else...
Uh, Miss Fors Wall is experiencing problems at full moon. Is that related to the werewolf thing previously mentioned? Most likely. I will refrain from rashly making unfounded theories.
The True Creator, or the Fallen Creator, seems to want to take center stage lately, with his increasing attempts at descending on land. And keeps accidentally involving Klein, which Rude much?? Albeit Klein also involves himself to some degree, can't that naked bastard Chill for a second?? Anyway.
Speaking of the True Creator and Lanevus (I always gotta double check I spell his name right lmao. Starting in 2007, Mi-rae would study at the Bolshoi Academy for a year and a half. During the times when she wasn’t in class or competing, however, she was in front of a camera. In 2008, she was featured in a children’s campaign for her mother’s brand. It was her third modeling job; her first was when she accompanied her mother down the Chanel runway in 1997, and her second was when she was featured in her mother’s “No. 5” campaign in 2001. Once those photos dropped, however, it was a whole new world for Mi-rae. One of Minyoung’s close friends contacted her and asked why Mi-rae wasn’t a model. A few days later, she was sitting in front of another camera for a portfolio shoot, and that summer, she had a contract with Wilhelmina.
In between becoming the youngest soloist at the Korea National Ballet at only 16, Mi-rae would also become a top model, with her career reaching its peak by 2011. By then, she had made her film debut in one of Korea’s top blockbusters, and multimillion dollar contracts with L’Oréal and Kate Spade came with it. She starred in campaigns for top brands such as Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Giambattista Valli, Vivienne Westwood, Anna Sui, Moschino, Miu Miu, Jill Stuart, and Saks Fifth Avenue. She walked runways in Paris and Milan despite her short height, and became renowned for her unique, “doll-like” looks. Unsurprising considering that both her mother and her sister became supermodels, but her most surprising venture would come in 2018.
After rising to the position of principal dancer and becoming a guest principal at both the Bolshoi Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre in 2015, three years later, Mi-rae was inspired by her brother and she made the decision to pursue an idol career in Korea, signing with LOEN Entertainment. The announcement shocked the public, as most thought she would do nothing but ballet even after her cover of IU’s “Boo” went viral in 2016. Mi-rae’s debut was intended to come just months after she signed, but once she got busy with ballet and acting, it was unfortunately but inevitably delayed.
In between 2018 and 2021, Mi-rae made strides as an actress and television host, in addition to her established ballet career. She was nominated for her first major award in 2018, starred in a career defining drama a year later, and was offered her very own talk show by KBS in 2021. However, despite all of that success, there was still no talk of Mi-rae’s debut. In early 2019, rumors spread on online forums that her debut was set for sometime that year. However, said rumors were quickly dispelled by LOEN and Mi-rae herself. That led netizens to ask the question: just when was her debut?
In January 2021, it was announced that Mi-rae had terminated her contract with LOEN (now Kakao). This had fans worried, as that could’ve spelled the end of her idol career before it even started. A month later, however, SM announced that Mi-rae had signed with them instead.
⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚ 🦢 … THREE. THE DEBUT
Even though fans were expecting an immediate debut, they unfortunately wouldn’t get that. Mi-rae would take to social media explaining that she wanted to train her voice and get used to the industry before debuting, and that such a process would take a while. In the meantime, Mi-rae would of course continue ballet and touch on other aspects of her career, starring in two television shows and a film and also trying her hand at fashion design, designing a capsule collection for her mother’s brand in 2022. As the years dragged on, though, fans grew worried again.
However, in the spring of 2023, something happened. SM announced that Mi-rae was preparing for her debut, and that it would happen sometime in the summer. A day later, she posted footage of herself in one of SM’s studios, and netizens immediately began talking.
In May, Mi-rae was featured on aespa’s “‘Til We Meet Again,” and anticipation for her debut continued to grow. And then, after a month of teasers, Mi-rae’s debut EP—Jewel—was finally released.

Mi-rae’s debut album and its corresponding single instantly became chart-topping hits. She quickly rose to becoming one of Korea’s most beloved soloists, with netizens comparing her to the likes of IU, Bae Suzy, and Im Yoon-ah.
Her surprising vocal talent further endeared her to the public, garnering her nicknames such as Korea’s Doll, SM’s Angel, and Nation’s Little Sister. Even though her career isn’t even a year old yet, many agree that it clearly looks promising. Mi-rae is—in every sense of the word—a star, and her well-rounded skill set, charming personality, and princess-like image is setting her up to be one of the industry’s most iconic idols.

During the Apple Independence War, Loen was part of a group of soldiers seeking respite from the barrage of attacks. He suggested moving locations - another soldier, Leiden, said it was better to stay put and not risk death.
The Pigeon army found them anyway. Loen managed to save all the soldiers and help them escape.
Years later, Leiden is now an admiral and working at Apple’s Ministry of Defense. They’ve captured a dangerous criminal named Scorpionfish, whose Styling Power is so strong he can make others hurt themselves. Leiden has been trying to interrogate him, but to no avail. He decides to execute the prisoner tomorrow.
At that moment, an advisory board from Cloud enters the building. Leiden swears one of them is familiar, with his locks of golden blond hair. Leiden has suspicions, but he doesn’t want to entertain them, so he leaves.
That was a bad call, as the blond man bursts through the fire escape and starts battling dozens of armed soldiers, determined to get to the top floor - where Scorpionfish is being kept.
Leiden waits for the blond man in the room. He barges through a passage to the roof. Leiden tries to kill him - the man dodges and knocks the gun out of Leiden’s hand. Scorpionfish sees Loen and immediately thinks he’s going to be saved and that Loen will kill everyone.
Loen refuses.
No one else knows why Loen needed Scorpionfish, but Leiden has come to understand and respect Loen more for his actions, so he lets Loen escape with Scorpionfish. Admiral Leiden then watches the sun rise.
Connections
-Scorpionfish, the prisoner in this Reflection, appears again in Mercury’s Reflection for Nightmist Aria. He tried to intercept some of Mercury’s men to steal the page for Leonid’s Manuscript.

Ok let's be clear here, there are two types of contracts... Idol Trainnee Contracts and Idol Contracts. A trainnee contract can be up to 5 years and Idol one up to 7. BTS's first started on 13th June 2013 and ended on 12th June 2020 (7 years). We know this because they stated this during the BangBangCon Live concert.
So, 2018 was not their contract end, it was when BigHit initiated contract renegotiations.
Also, technically 2017 was when they started to take off (DNA and Billboard Awards noms anyone?).
There is no basis in fact, just assumption here...
Again no basis in facts...
Firstly, the fact that BTS didn't have any money was probably because not 2-3 years earlier BH was on for verge of not continuing with the BTS project until I The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1 was released and they started to make some money. Also remember, for most of 2016/2017 they were on tour or promoting. So when were they gonna spend there money?
Also, after Wings Tour there was bit of down time for them during the renegotiations, which by the BIgHit insisted they involve the Parents and outside legal counsel if the wished to do so.
I think the initial contract stipulated that all should live together in a dorm provide by BH. I have theorised that post contract re-sign they were all allowed to purchase their own property and live there. We know Jin was living somewhere else in 2018, as was Tae & Yoongi in 2019, and by the 2020 nearly all were living away from the dorm.
Also, J Hope's purchase was for his parents. How do this? Well Leetuk has mentioned on several occasions bumping in them at his home in Trimage.

Anyway, we know that a solo era has always been in the works and was meant to happen from 2021, but covid and all that jazz.
Additionally, this solo era would have been negotiated as part of their new contract (which according to some was set to end in 2024) AND that BH would be manging said solo era. We know this because the boys mention this and so have HYBE themselves.
In order for any member to sign deals they would have to notify their management company... why? Because THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT with NH, and said management company would likely need to be INVOLVED IN THOSE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, with other brands, because they manage artist schedules, security and styling, so it doesn't conflict with HYBE/BH plans/policy and BTS concept; as well as it not conflicting with anything in their contract with BTS. People who don't get this are idiots and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near social media.
Agencies are designed to represent their Artists, some fans may not like that but that is an actual fact and BigHit is continuing to represent BTS in their solo era, including with brand deals, features and variety show work.
We don't know the ins and outs of what was agreed regarding Tae and JK's solo work, But JK's FIFA song, got tweeted about and behind the scenes work by BH. Tae's work with Jinny's kitchen has had some promos, and but the Sim Invest deal might and lack of announcement might have something to do with BTS's contract with Tokopedia, and e-commerce company in the same country.
We don't know, so stop suggesting something based on vagueness.

Why fucking waits another year, when supposedly they ain't getting any work, which could damage their brand?
I swear some people have not fucking clue how the real-world works. BTS and their members currently are the single most important asset for BH and HYBE and have built that company from the ground up. Do you seriously think so fucking little of Tae and JK that they would allow themselves to be used in such manner? Well obviously, yes in this case, otherwise we'd be seeing potential legal proceedings against BH by them.
I bet by 2024/2025 rolls around the we'll get an announcement of them formerly re-signing with HYBE for another 7 years.

Purfles were a three member girl group under Crescendo Music that debuted in late 2014. Their name was derived from the English word "purfle" which means 'to decorate (something) with an ornamental border' - meaning Purfles would become singers who would decorate the music industry. There was never an official disbandment announcement, but the company website was shut down late 2016, so it is assumed they disbanded around the same time.

An Album a Day Begins Apink's Discography
Blending together the letter A for its grade of perfection and the word “pink” for its femininity and innocence, Apink was initially a seven-member girl group under A Cube Entertainment, which eventually became IST Entertainment. At the time of this episode, the group is now composed of five members, with two departing in 2013 and 2022, respectively.
A Cube Entertainment was an independent label of Cube Entertainment from 2011 until 2015, in which LOEN Entertainment would buy 70% of the shares, thus changing it into Plan A Entertainment until 2019. Eventually, Kakao M, now known as Kakao Entertainment, would own the company and merge it with Fave Entertainment and become Play M Entertainment until 2021. All of these name changes by way of mergers eventually ended at IST Entertainment. That was a mouthful, but necessary in revealing how the group was established.
When you have a lot of companies involved in the success of an act, there’s likely a lot of interest before they hit the big stage. In Apink’s case, their founding in 2011 was chronicled in a reality show called Apink News. The cable show chronicled their launch process for three seasons with second generation K-pop idols as the hosts, such as members of BEAST, MBLAQ, and 4MINUTE.
Then, on April 19 of that year, members Son Na-eun, Park Cho-rong, Oh Ha-young, Jeong Eun-ji, Hong Yoo-kyung, Yoon Bi-mi, and Kim Nam-joo made their debut with their first extended play, Seven Springs of Apink.

I would certainly say this is a group to watch out for good music in the future if it can give off the image of famous Kpop groups already with a newly formed group. The music as well reminds me very much of the typical boy band sound, and a sound reminiscent to Big Bang. I probably make those ties due to the fact that both have tutting in them. These five, in their song "Left Out", have a wonderful dance that I think is very snazzy, much like the dance for "Lucifer" by SHINee. Their group is made up of Listen (리슨), who is their main vocalist, Roi (로이) from China, Ryu Jae Hyuk (유제혁), Lito (리토), the rapper, and Lee Changsun (이창선). They debuted their first album, The Legend on July 8, 2014, with the song "Left Out". Legend (전설) is a five man group that is under JK Space's management. Some of the new upcoming groups that have formed that are boy groups are Legend, K-Much, GOT7, JJCC, and LU:KUS. Of course, the year is not over yet, but certainly there has been an introduction to many new groups and many new songs, by both male and female Kpop groups. I would definitely like to see more music, which is already in the works. Listening to the lyrics, I definitely get the feeling of a certain romance behind it all, which is rather interesting, since the song also focuses on how you can say no in relationships. Here, the dancing is sensual, and the music certainly reflects the feeling of sensuality as well. Bobbed hair doesn’t just signify a hairstyle but it represents ‘woman’s transformation and change.’ Expressing its unique color through various transformations and change is Bob Girls’ identity." This being said, there is a certainly different experience when watching Bob Girls, shown in "No Way". In fact, one representative from Chrome Entertainment made this statement about the group and their hair, "When a girl cuts her hair short, she doesn’t only go through a change in looks but people normally think of it as a change of her heart. What is so interesting with this group is, unlike most other girl groups, the singers all have short hair, going back to the name of their group, "Bob Girls", like the haircut called the bob. This group is made up of Dahye (다혜), Yujeong (유정), Jina (지나), and Danbi (단비). They debuted their first album, No Way, on Jwith the song "No Way". While I'm personally not used to ballad like songs, I believe that 1PS will use their talent with not only singing but with dance, to make their mark.īob Girls (단발머리) is also made up of four members, although they are the second girl's group managed by Chrome Entertainment. It's a peaceful piece of music, where the voices are balanced and bring about a warm feeling in you. Their song "Because I'm Your Girl" reflects this ability, with one of the members constantly being shown to be doing ballet throughout the quiet, ballad like song. Made up of the members Yena (예나) the leader, Yoon Seo (윤서), Ji Eun (지은), and Sae Ha (새하), these girls in 1PS are all trained dancers mostly in ballet. They debuted their first album, The First Score, on March 3, 2014, with the song "Because I'm Your Girl". Even though the year is not over, I can definitely say that these groups have a good chance of becoming rather large and popular in the future 1PS, Bob Girls, Red Velvet, Four Ladies, and Lip Service.ġPS (원피스, pronounced as One Piece Score) is made up of four members and is managed by 1theK, formerly known as LOEN Entertainment. This year has been an amazing year for many female Kpop groups that just started off for the first time in 2014. You can check out some more stills below.

We will have a full review when the game is released. So far the game looks to nail the feel of the show and the gameplay is truly action pack. Everything from the mannerism, attacks and location look beautiful on the XBOX One. The environment, sound, and look of the show you love is all entact. Finding different combinations and styles kept me fully immerse in the game.įans will also be happy to know that the graphics look amazing on next gen consoles. For example I hit an opponent with fire and quickly switch to air which build up my combo hit more. One of my favorite parts of the gameplay was switching air bending elements while still fighting. Will work on certain enemies and some will not. Depending on enemies it will best to use certain elements. Players will be able to use all the four air bending elements with a press of the button. Those familiar with the style of action beat em ups such as Bayonetta will be familiar with the flow of the game. I played the XBOX One version and I must say fans of Korra can rest easy the game is awesome. While there I got my first hands on look for the new Legend of Korra game coming to all consoles. I had the great pleasure of attending this year's Nickelodeon Holiday presentation which you will read about later.
