here's the thing, here's the real thing, like obviously i do not condone what croccyboy did in alabasta. but i do think it is worth saying, that loneliness -- and i'm not talking about incel 'no one wants to fuck me' loneliness, i'm talking about like real, bone-deep, not sharing a meal with someone in years loneliness -- can fuck the human psyche up in incredible ways as yet unstudied by humans. i think he's a solipsist by necessity, because rain dinners was his entire world (what even existed beyond that world in his mind?) i think it can make you so crazy and it's insidious. you don't even realize how crazy it's made you until you talk to someone who's more adjusted; all he's doing is seeing the world's problems and wanting to solve them on his own : | and i have a really hard time being mad at him for that??? it's like henry winter, like.....no, these things were not good, they were not right, but knowing he got 3 hours of sleep a night???? shit made a LOT more sense .

being evaluated for adhd by having one of those full psych evals that last like two hours. scared frightened etc.... last time i took it i lied extensively bc i was 13 and thought they might tell my mommy if i said i had suicidal thoughts. and i still have a habit of lying to therapists bc i'm embarrassed......... LEMME SAY SOMETHING! i honesty kind of think the old hetalia style was better. like, was it uglier? yeah. did they get a glow up? yeah. but the thing no one is talking about is that... did they DESERVE that glow up. and honestly, no, i dont think they did

theres just something about the old style that was like, a mix of ugly and cute at the same time, and it was just aggressively 2010s. n tbh i think that kind of fits hetalia better than this new pretty shiny style. the old one is goofy as hell. i like to describe hetalia as seeming like it was made by a buncha high college students at 2 am, and that old style reflected that. it matched the goofy vibes perfectly

PLUS. it had more personality, in a way. they just.... they’re too round and pretty and shiny now. like i love em dont get me wrong but it doesnt feel the same. give us back the monkey ears

anyway idfk what im talkin about and honestly i love n appreciate both styles but i think the old one fits hetalia way better. we dont deserve nice things
