This is where I really started to play around with perspective— I actually did the ones with a longer canvas dimension last, and I still have two more total to do overall as of now, but I think this grouping has most of my favorites overall :’]

The thing I love about Pearl in the Life series is that she delights in the game of it. Not in the same way others might, but you can see her having fun constantly. She knows it’s all a game, that she’s being watched, and she plays it like a champ. Pearl got the last boogey kill in Last Life, one that was ultimately pointless but it was flashy and she’d planned it for so long that she never regretted it. Pearl effectively gave the group one more enemy and she giggled about it. I mean, even in Double Life where she was very lonely and hurting, she laughed when people were scared of her antics. She played up the “harbinger of doom” thing, you can just hear a big smile on her face when anyone else runs from her in fear. Pearl was in Evo too, she knows about the Watchers, she’s probably somewhat aware they’re behind the Life games, so she makes hers a game worth watching

I've been making a chart to keep track of all the deaths, kills, and hours left for each player in Limited Life

I'll be updating it after each new episode for anyone interested :]

Under the cut are stats for each episode, and in the spreadsheet there are notes explaining each kill and death

There's also a page with timelines tracking how much time every player loses/gains over the course of each episode (with varying levels of detail and legibility)

Grian, as much as he tries, cannot help but love.

He loved Scar. The guilt of murder evolving into a genuine care that left so much blood and sand and gunpowder on his hands but he didn't care because he loved so much.

He loved Mumbo. Because he'd always loved Mumbo, they'd known each other for so long. So when he appeared in the game Grian couldn't help the love that burst out of his chest even after he thought he'd emptied his heart.

He loved BigB. Because Grian knew he needed to love someone. Because of his tratorous, tratorous heart. So he picked someone not chosen by the gods or the fates or whoever.

He loved and he loved and he loved and the blood on his hands grew thicker and thicker until they were only red and so heavy he couldn't lift his hands high enough to wipe his tears. Because Grian loves in a world where love is rewarded by pain and Grian knows that he is cursed to dye his hands red with love whether old or new or the same again and again and again.

had a convo with a friend about vampire mumbo for reasons, and i brought about a point of bigb's association with cookies and sweets, that if mumbo ever fed from him, he'd probably be something like a dessert/sugar rush for mumbo compared to others. and it'd be unexpected/unprepared for the first time it happened, and i couldnt get the image out of my head of his eyes widening/dilating like a cat because of it lol. but with sugar rushes comes sugar crashes! poor mumbo.

Effect AU (DLSMP)

(This was made with the thought of Double Life but could be used with other seasons)

At the start, everything plays as normal. While green, no effects are in play, your goal is to survive.

The minute you and your partner die and turn yellow, you gain your first effect. The positive effect is added and only you and your partner can put it on the other through touch. Sometimes it will activate, other times it won’t no matter the situation. You only gain one effect though it will stay as only that effect no matter what so hope you get a good one.

When you both turn red though, is when the fun begins. You are one granted the negative effect. They activate when in battle, and only for a few seconds or once (depending on the effect) per battle. You have no choice on when it starts however, so be aware of yourself. This effect will not activate on your partner. And while on red, you can still activate your positive effect the same way as on yellow.

For the other two seasons, since it’s no soul bounds, the positive effect will randomly activate, but has a higher chance of appearing when taking tons of damage
