Just musing out loud-
One of the gifts that time brought for me, ish, was a reduced interest in labels for myself. Reduced-not-gone, because humans love a good sorting hat, but definitely not what it once was.
It's most obvious in media, like with those YA books that routinely have explicit caste systems or divide people up by thematic groups, or with video games that let you pick a faction. But it sneaks in to real life too. Like, take the famed Tumblr* neogenders/neosexualities and proliferation of flags. It is, of course, unironically fun to watch the ever-increasing fractal complexity as people chase the questing beast of a coherent taxonomy of sexual nonconformity, and I think the people that do so often find it very rewarding. But I watch mostly as an outsider, because the whole thing is answering questions to which I already have satisfying answers in my own dialect- at least insofar as it comes to how I think about myself. And what's true in the narrow case of Tumblr's culture has some far-reaching impacts on politics as a whole, as you might guess.
It's not that I find the castes/factions/neogenders themselves uninteresting- almost the opposite really. I like exploring and thinking about them all, but in a way that doesn't trigger any questions about me as an observer; the 'me' in my sense of these things is a fairly high-inertia construct, one which doesn't really deform much in the presence of exciting new taxonomies. They tend to show me much more about their authors than they do about myself, though as always there are exceptions. It's like seeing a new map of a place you know well, where you're not so much discovering the territory as appreciating a new view of things through the eyes of someone else, a pleasure that follows from an appreciation of the cartographer's choice of framing and the cleverness by which they drew the lines.
The reason I say 'gift' is, most of the benefits of that sorting-hat instinct are front-loaded; a map, any map, is worth it's weight in gold when you're new to someplace. It helps you find a community where you can thrive, it helps you communicate with others and build shared expectations. But especially once you get a little bit more used to things and learn how to get around without a reference sheet, labels are a double-edged sword. There's no perfect label that can really capture a human person, leading to all manner of suffering as we try to conform to the labels we find ourselves carrying, and we can fall down a really deep hole if we start trying to treat those labels as the axioms from which a human is derived.
It also becomes clear, with the benefits of distance, that while a lot of my exertions in label-making felt like introspection at the time, they didn't really manage to be introspection. Introspection, I think, would have been a little more about my identity as a thing-in-itself; after all, it revolves around the question "who am I?" But a curious fact about these identity groups is that they're meant to be comprehensive; every single student at Hogwarts is placed within one of the four Houses. That is, playing around with these things isn't a matter of asking "who am I?", but rather, of describing the society in which we find ourselves, and our relationship to that society. Ruminating about the proper label for ourselves is asking a different question than introspection does: "where do I belong?"
A good chunk of what I thought was self-discovery was, in hindsight, something closer to self-consciousness. Trying to figure out how to be seen, how to be known, how to take up space in a social world where all of those things can be very high-stakes. But I seem to have stumbled in to a degree of equanimity with myself regardless, so I suppose no harm done. Probably you need to chase both lines of inquiry in parallel, but I think it would have helped me at the time to realize that they are fundamentally different questions.

I ALWAYS WANNA HEAR ABOUT YURI !! tell me of the siren au
Okay so i did a silly thing and tried to write this the first time when my phone was on 1% and you'll never believe it, but it died. :(
The meeting
After that:
It's weeks before Cleo returns
It's a burning curiosity they can't help. They know stories of sirens. Know that they don't let caught prey go. The idea of it turns in their head for nights on end. They want answers
Under cover of night, Cleo steals one of Joey's boats and rows off towards the Siren's Sea
It's unlikely that they'll find anything, really. It was a chance encounter, and the chance has long since passed. Besides. The chance of something they don't want to meet coming to kill them is far more likely than anything with answers is.
This was a bad idea
Cleo picks up her oar to row away, and immediately hits something with the paddle. From over the side of the boat, the same blue face, blue eyes, pink hair, peeks at her
"Oh," Cleo says. "Hello."
And then, out of habit: "I'm Cleo."
The siren pulls herself a little further out of the boat and grins.
Meetups happen only every couple weeks. When Joey is exhausted and they aren't out on an adventure, and no one is around to see, Cleo will take a boat out and meet the siren.
She doesn't talk, but she understands, clearly. She nods, and laughs a hissy sound when the situation calls for it, and though they're not talking, they're interacting, and Cleo finds they quite like it
It's probably about... The fourth or fifth meeting that the siren beckons Cleo closer and requests that they offer their ear
The siren immediately pulls them off the boat
of course
Cleo pulls to the surface and gasps for air, and then feels a tug on their foot. That's the only warning to breathe in deep before they're tugged underneath again, and they squint past the salt water between the siren and them.
"Hello," the siren says, voice clear and amused. "I'm Lizzie."
Cleo freezes for a moment, until Lizzie slowly lifts her to the surface, easily keeping Cleo's head afloat.
"Lizzie?" Cleo asks. Lizzie smiles and nods. "Well," Cleo says, a little lost for words. "It's nice to meet you, Lizzie."
Lizzie mimes taking a deep breath in, and Cleo copies. They dunk under the water, and Lizzie says, brightly, "it's nice to meet you too!"
It keeps going like this. Cleo starts storing towels on the boat, starts wearing lighter clothes, starts bringing a rope ladder
Switching between being above and below water to talk becomes habit. Lizzie starts climbing entirely into the ship. Cleo starts seeing how long they can hold their breath. They're trying to adapt to the other in a world they're not made for
At some point, Cleo starts teaching Lizzie sign language. They keep telling stories, just talking about anything and everything, but they're learning how to make communicating easier at the same time
Lizzie starts bringing little trinkets to their meetups. Cleo brings their own in turn
Nights turn to sunrises. Days turn to sunsets.
On a particularly purple sunset, Lizzie pulls Cleo into the water with a care that they've been practicing. They sink down, below, and Lizzie leans in, Cleo meeting her halfway.
It's not their last kiss.
They aren't sure how to describe what it is that's happening between them. Dating, maybe. Love, of course. What they have now is enough, though - Sharp teeth against lips, against skin, against tongue. Stitched hands in hair, caressing scales, pinning against wood.
(Lizzie brings a fruit, one day. Blue, round, a tough outer skin that Lizzie peels off for her. A sweet and tangy inside that runs juice down her mouth when she bites into it. Lizzie pulls her into the water and tells her, "breathe." Cleo inhales, and her lungs expand, and she's fine, and she isn't choking or dying or anything. Lizzie leads her down, down, to the sea floor, and commands: "Sleep.")
(Head resting against Lizzie's chest, her arms wrapped around their waist, tail acting as a blanket over their legs, Cleo can't even imagine saying no.)
It's probably about a year. A year and a half, even, when Cleo rows to their meeting spot and finds nothing. They wait, hours on end, and Lizzie isn't there
Again, the next day
Again, the next
Again
Lizzie?
Two weeks later, a siren comes up to talk to her
The face that climbs onto her boat and pulls her in is green, snarling, angry, sharp.
It isn't Lizzie.
"What have you done with her?" the siren growls. "With Lizzie. What have you done?"
Ah, Cleo thinks. Oh no.

Hey dude, what's the plot/a few plot points of your perfect hypothetical mission: Impossible movie? A specific action sequence you'd love to see? Or an entire arc? Or literally just describe the whole plot, go nuts.
oh whoop, this is a beautiful question. a doozy for sure. you've opened a pandora's box i know you're more than happy to stick your face in with this one.
cw: on the field emergency amputation
first off, they're back in colorful outfits like they are in rogue nation. at one point benji's got one of those gayass benoit blanc neck scarves. ethan can be in the occasional black t-shirt, as i know is his want, but he'e gotta be in some colorful patterned button-up tucked into some high-waisted black jeans at some point.
i'm thinking this is like, post-rogue nation but pre-fallout in time period.
the villain isn't aware of the imf but is expertly good at adapting, and has a special skill in reading people. the second she learns of the imf's existence when they almost thwart her first scheme of the movie and kill/capture a lot of her men, she immediately figures out all she can about them and hacks into cam footage to literally watch the team while they're not working to learn about them as people. she's able to quickly and conclusively gather that ethan cares a whole lot about benji; more than he really realizes.
somewhere around the middle of the movie, there's some building they're all in doing spy stuff. luther's out of the building, benji's doing server stuff inside, and ethan's running around the hallways, probably in a fancy white suit that turns inside out into a button-up or smth. stuff happens, and ethan discovers that the baddie planted a bomb that'll take the whole building and the ones next to it, and after communicating an abort to his team and pulling a fire alarm or smth to clear it of civilians, he makes his leave, turning the jacket into the button up as he does so. when he doesn't hear anything from benji through his earpiece, he asks luther, who tells him that trackers indicate benji's still in the building, so ethan rushes back in while luther looks for cam footage to confirm it.
while ethan's running so so fast to the room benji's in, luther tells him that he found benji on the cams, but something is very wrong. he's bleeding, struggling, and looking to the camera pleadingly. when ethan gets there, he figures out why. benji's lying on the floor— awake, but panicked— and there's a trail of blood from his ear and the side of his head; presumably why he couldn't call ethan, as whatever hit caused his bleeding also shattered his earpiece. more alarmingly, there's some sort of metal contraption attached to benji's leg right on his calf, and a pool of blood forming around it. benji tells him that right when he made the call to abort, a man came out of the shadows and knocked him out, and he woke up less than a minute ago, in tremendous pain and attached to this thing. further investigation reveals that the contraption is pierced all the way through his leg and attached at either side, making removal impossible without the proper instruments. worse, it's chained directly to the floor.
despite benji's desperate insistence that ethan leave him and get out of here before the building goes, that man is not having any of it. brandt is part of the team still btw, bc i think he's silly. the building they're in is next to a hospital, and ethan instructs brandt (who is being very argumentative) to gather a bunch of specific surgical equipment. benji realizes what's about to happen when ethan requests the bone saw.
yeah. that's right. ethan has to cut benji's leg off to save him. don't worry too much; julia taught him a thing or two because he asked a LOT of questions (even when he wasn't on the job, he was always on the job). m:i isn't known for being gory, so the camera probably wouldn't show the actual process, but you'd get to see a lot of ethan apologizing and reassuring benji and compartmentalizing his emotions and fears until he can get benji out of there. and so much benji crying. put that man in pain.
brandt and ethan barely get him out in time. benji passes out from blood loss as they're going through the hallways, and the explosion happens right behind them and takes ethan out. luther pulls up in the van as the dust settles and brandt takes the wheel after they get the two of them in the vehicle and to a different hospital since the explosion hit the one next to them (luther hacks all the traffic lights to get them there asap).
ethans first loopy thought after coming to is "not again," but then he goes completely fucking manic when he remembers Benji. he effortlessly rips his IV out (idiotically) and fumbles around the halls ignoring nurses trying to talk to him until he finds the rest of his team. luther is of course immediately concerned when he sees him up and limping (brandt only gives a shit in the "jesus christ, this fucking guy..." sorta way lmao) but also knows not to try and stop him, especially with benji involved.
benjamin dunn himself hasn't regained consciousness yet, but he's stable for now. after a short convo where ethan is doing a really good job pretending he's completely collected himself, luther and brandt give him some space, and ethan totally breaks down. watching who he thought was julia get killed right in front of him was one thing, y'know? but his own hand being forced to hurt and take from benji just at the mere chance he could get him out alive? the possibility he could have spent the last moments of life in agony at ethan's direct actions? that's affected him in a way he didn't realize was possible.
benji rouses to find himself down half a leg and with super spy extraordinaire ethan hunt crying against his chest. i could write some kick-ass dialog for this scene between them... maybe i will one day. needless to say, neither of them are all that good at emotional communication (luther has sole ownership of that braincell) so their talk is full of lots of difficult half-admissions and sly feeling-dodging. also benji cries again.
or maybe they have him on some crazy-ass pain meds and he comes too all loopy and says his feelings flat out and is just so silly and it gives ethan an open to be genuine and laugh at his teammate and maybe realize some stuff. y'know. maybe.
i guess this takes benji out of the action for the third act, but he can switch places with brandt and be the guy in the office reporting back. as long as brandt's very verbal about his distaste for benji's operating style. ethan has to keep reminding them to stop filling the coms with petty bickering.
i have no clue how the "final battle" would shake out. it is custom for ethan to be somewhere on his own, so probably that. the villain would actually be really good at besting him bc she can see through all his tricks and charisma, so he'd probably win through some brute-force insanity like crashing a helicopter into a famous landmark or smth; something she would not have time to adapt to that would get the imf in so much federal trouble.
at some point luther has one of those eye-opening discussions he's great at with benji, and a separate, more difficult one with ethan, about their importance to each other and how if they don't figure their shit out with each other, horrible people are just going to keep taking advantage of it and they're going to keep thinking they're hurting each other in an infinite spiral for the rest of time. neither of them are going to quit field duty, no matter how much the other one wants that, so they've got to come to some sort of understanding.
yadda yadda yadda, and then benji's got a mean-ass prosthetic for the foreseeable future. it's cool; they use it to sneak tech into places all the time in future movies.
tom cruise doesn't stand on a single out-of-frame box. most of the cast is repeatedly and unapologetically shown to be taller than ethan.
luther gets to kill a man. as a treat.
i'm about to drop this question in your inbox too, whoop. i'm sure your m:i ideas are mental, miss Whump.

OK so. Technap, that eventually becomes Dreamnonap upon more demons that Aspens decided to attack me with:
The conception of the AU was that Sapnap, wanting to learn about Dreams location/weaknesses/etc., goes to Techno to practice sparring, also hoping that he can learn some fighting techniques to use against Dream. He of course doesn't say that when asking Techno to spar, because Techno has very clearly made his allegiances regarding Dream clear: that's his best friend. So Sap is going with the Friendly Sparring Every Week To Improve Myself Option.
The result is: Techno absolutely wipes the floor with Sapnap, is extraordinary tight lipped about his dearest bestie, and Sapnap is really, really gay
When Aspens specifically talked about their relationship he described it as "a bond" and incited some level of not just romantic implications but platonic ones as well
Their Bond Grew, This Potential Bond
Which makes it really compelling. And also I think Sapnap is gay for a man who can beat his ass. It's a ruse at first but Techno's just charming, and ultimately Sapnap is a determined person, and I think Techno appreciates that
Slowly slides them together
And then of course while they're having a hot drink, Sapnap admits that Hey Actually This Was The Initial Reason I Came To Spar With You, But It Isn't Anymore
And Techno sits there's and untangles that complicated fuckery of "I was sortve used sortve not, to get to my bestie, and there were some bad intentions there that I can relate to, and oh god I have to find a way to respond to this he's looking at me like I have to respond"
And Sapnap assumes he's fucked everything up and just. Leaves. Thinks that no only has he lost his past bond with Dream, but he's lost any chance at a new bond with Techno.
Because he's started to accept, after spending time with Techno who pushes only a positive narrative of Dream, that maybe he's fucked up with Dream a little. Just a tiny bit.
And now he's just. Alone. Fuck.
And he doesn't come to their next sparring session that week. And Techno mopes about that until Phil pushes him out of the house to go talk to Sapnap
They're both really good at communicating
Totally
They promise
Techno totally didn't watch Sapnap leave after saying all that and just assume his silence would be fine
He's normal and good at feelings
But after Techno goes and searches the smp, and finds Sapnap when Enderboo shows up and directs him over to the area,
And Sapnap assumes Techno is here to kill him. His facial expression looked vaguely murder-y before Sapnap just up and left, and he Is carrying a big fuck off sword.
But they sort of talk. Badly. They figure it out and they're not good at communicating but they're sparring together again and sort of dating maybe???? Listen
They flirt and and clearly have Something going on but neither of them could tell you what it is
They're dating but neither of them will say dating out loud. There's something wrong with them.
And of course, meanwhile, The Egg Comes Back, and Red Punz is now happening. Dream would like his Punz back, and Technoblade is the most reliable person he has to get them back.
So he treks all the way to the arctic, gets all the way over, and Sapnap Is There
That's Not Normal
Dream messages Techno asking for a safe time to meet, because he has no idea why Sapnap is there, he's trying to avoid an ambush, maybe Sapnap decided to blame Techno for Dream escaping and decided Techno is bad now too???
Except Techno is reassuring him that Sapnap is Fine, Actually. Sapnap isn't hostile anymore. It's all cool. They can all work on taking care of the Egg together! Ignore that Sapnap is still grumbly to Dream and still saying 'I don't like you still this I'm just not gonna go after you anymore'
(Techno: you can't go after Dream, it would make me sad! You wouldn't do that to me right :(((
Sap: … goddamit stop making those eyes at me >:(
Techno: I win )
Sapnap is like, both not hunting Dream anymore because OK Maybe There's More Going On And I Fucked Up A Little
But also because he wouldn't hurt Techno. He is a grumble Panda
But then during a battle, Dream is in danger, and Sapnap protects him, and Now They're Tending To Each Others Wounds and
Dream: you wouldn't have been faulted if I died. No one would have blamed you
Sapnap:…..

Ask game! 5, 11, 19!
5. Do you have a favorite spell that you find particularly powerful?
Excluding healing arts (because I personally wouldn't consider them 'spells'), I think the most 'powerful', rather, shocking effect I've gotten was with one specific cleansing method I tried, not really expecting much of it, but with surprising results. In the weirdest way possible. I kid you not, I ended up waking up in the middle of the night to unknowingly summoned spirits manifest in physical form. That kind of weird. It's become my favorite way to remove unwanted spirits and things from the home ever since.
11. Do you have a favorite book or resource that has influenced your craft significantly?
Book, I don't think so. I do read witchcraft books but they're not deal breakers to me. What I read more often, and do end up adding up to become important references in my practice, are articles in anthropology, history, or similar publications. As a researcher, I'm more in sync with that kind of sources and they're easier for me to read and understand (and importantly, put weight on) than most 'witchy' books I read. Less mass-marketed, regurgitated, commonly misappropriated filler, less pseudohistory, more substantial data, in it's proper very specifically stated context and with all which that context entails taken into account in the writing and described, with further similar quality references at the end for me to continue digging. Those are things that I can actually work with. Picking one article to be my most influential source at the moment feels impossible to me, there isn't one. It's how all the little pieces from different sources (including many being personal experiences) add up to form the bigger picture that has meaning and influence to me.
There are good books out there, of course there are. But I don't really get 'influenced' by them because I was already brought up with a lot very clear answers to my questions, and those answers don't tend to agree a whole lot with what I read from other people. I read grimoires and 'classics' as what they are, an often embellished glimpse of what somebody else was thinking or doing at the time. I might compare ideas, practices, beliefs and conclusions, but I don't have a book (or books) that I can point to and say "this is where I got my beliefs/practice from!" or "this was my starting point". I would be pointing at my family's elders instead. There are books that I've found fascinating because they seem to have come to similar conclusions to my own but from a completely different angle, and from very different paths, but I don't think that's what the question was referring to? (is it really influential if you were already doing or thinking the same thing?) I consume a fair amount of books, articles, podcasts and videos from other practitioners, but frustratingly to me, most of the time what they talk about is either (a) while still interesting, exciting even, to hear and contemplate, old news to me, (b) factually wrong or misinformed and thus painful to hear, (c) simply something I already have formed ideas about and therefore something I simply have to disagree with the other person on. I deeply enjoy option (a), I also enjoy (c) because it puts my brain to work and challenges my beliefs in a healthy way, but I dread (b), and it breaks my heart when the hit comes from someone I respect. The influential break-throughs, twists and turns I take at this point are coming from personal experience, UPG becoming VPG, and various forms of communication with my Spirits, Deities and Ancestors.
19. What advice would you give to someone just starting their witchcraft journey?
Besides the obvious answer for me being "begin with your Ancestors" and seeking ancestral spirits in general, I'd say it's also important to figure out where your strengths lie and to nurture those gifts first. Sometimes people online make it seem like you have to know everything and be able to do everything to be a "real witch", and that's simply not true. It's even a harmful thing to believe. For starters, acknowledging that certain practices will absolutely be closed to you or out of your reach from the get-go, and there's certain things you will never be able to do for multiple reasons, is not an option, it's a fact, is a need. But even further, there's certain things that you simply will not be the best at, or not even be good at. And that's perfectly normal. Focus on your gifts instead. What can you do. What comes natural to you. How you can develop a full working skillset from the talents you were given at birth and the strengths you already have.
Thanks for asking!

This is a total long shot, but I'm looking for a series of Harringrove fics that appears to have been taken off AO3. The series is at least two fics, but may be more (I can't fully recall) and I think both parts were fairly long. I don't remember the titles of the individual stories or the series or the author, because my brain is a sieve, but I put a quick rundown of what plot/details I remember under a read more below. If anybody either has a download of this fic, knows where I can get one, or remembers the author/titles so I can try my hand with the Wayback Machine, I would really appreciate it. (Spoilers ahead, obviously, and caveat that there's a chance I may be misremembering some of these from other Harringrove fic I've read):
Billy meets Eleven fairly early on, and I believe that at first he mishears her name as Ellen, but he eventually moves into calling her Elijane. Later on, toward the end of the first story/beginning of the second, he runs into Eleven (on her way to Chicago/to find her mom, maybe?) and offers to take her because he needs to get out of town to clear his head after a fight with Steve (detailed later). Their car gets run off the road and they get kidnapped by lab people.
Midwayish through the first story, I want to say, Hopper or someone intervenes on behalf of Billy with Neil and he winds up in his own apartment. He buys a couch or a whole set of furniture or something that's red.
Billy and Steve have their first kiss after they get into an altercation with Tommy and either some of his friends or maybe cousins, where they're walking down the street and Tommy throws a beer can at them. They throw it back and hit Tommy in the face or something and then go running. They end up in an alley together late at night hiding and that's where they have their first kiss.
Billy catches Steve wearing glasses he doesn't normally wear in public and Steve gets super self-conscious about it at first. He also has two german shepherds named Luke and Leia. When Billy first meets them, while Steve is out walking them near the garage where Billy works, he plays with them and asks "Are you a puppy?"
At one point, Lucas sees Steve and Billy together before they're out, and Billy goes full rage mode on him like an asshole. Steve gets big mad for obvious reasons and they sort of separate until Billy apologizes and gets his shit together. He does eventually go to apologize to Lucas, after which he goes to apologize to Steve. Steve is hanging out at his place with Nancy, because he needs to talk to someone about stuff with Billy, and Billy mistakenly deduces that they're together. This is why he's driving along and sees El on her way to wherever she's going before they get kidnapped.
When Steve and Billy try to have penetrative sex the first time, it isn't very good. I believe because they'd been drinking and having a celebration of sometime and don't communicate well. They try again a second time and it goes way better.
Steve calls Billy "Bill" a fair amount and the author, while writing in Billy's voice, describes the kids as yapping pretty frequently. They also tend to write, 'says, "Ha ha ha!"' instead of 'laughs' which I thought was very endearing and delightful.
I don't remember the specific wording but at one point there's a bit that's sort of like, "Steve is a bitch but fuck yeah that's Billy's bitch."
I know it's not a ton to go on but I'm getting back into Stranger Things fandom recently and was so devastated the other day when I trolled through as many posted Harringrove fic over 80k as I could and didn't see it anywhere.
Any help is appreciated! Feel free to shoot me a DM here on Tumblr/reply to this post. I don't usually see Tumblr messages but you can give that a shot too. Otherwise I'm on Discord as thrillingdetectivetales, too, and you can message me there as well.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

I've never really understood a lot of discourse around system spaces so I'm just shooting this ask to see if you wanted to answer some questions.
1.How are we defining traumagenic and endogenic spaces? There seems to be a lot of talk about these spaces and keeping them separate, but it's never really specified what or where these spaces are. If we're talking about Tumblr tags, I don't think you can get more refined anymore than they already are and it's also an open space.
2. And in what ways do you find that the communities are intertwined? Beyond the use of basic terminology, I feel that most endogenic and traumgenic spaces (Tumblr, websites, subreddits) have completely different "vibes" and terminology usage. From my perspective there is a thick line between endogenics and traumagenic spaces and I don't see the blurring of disordered and non-disordered. Not saying you're wrong /gen, I just don't understand.
3. I see a lot of people talking about endogenic systems entering traumagenic spaces, is this a problem that can't be solved by just blocking the endogenic tags or removing them from the servers? And, what is the severity of this issue in the first place? Are there flocks of endogenic systems overwhelming these spaces or a stray once in a while?
For sure! Keep in mind this is just my perspective, but here's my thoughts :)
1. I'm defining them mainly as stuff like group chats, support groups, servers, blogs, and other internet spaces that serve as places to talk about this stuff. You're right that Tumblr tags are pretty open lol. I'm talking more about the more designated discussion and support groups/spaces.
2. Essentially, it's the fact that endo and traumagenic systems are viewed as more or less the same thing with slight differences. (That's a little bit of an exaggeration but hopefully you get what I mean lol.) The same terms are used to describe different things. Even the "-genic" terms imply that we're basically the same/equatable. Of course there are similarities, but my main issue is the fact that the communities are viewed as two parts of a whole instead of different experiences with similarities. Hope that makes sense, I'm kinda tired rn and idk if I articulated that super well.
3. In some cases, yes, it can be. But half of the problem is that spaces are viewed as open to all origins by default. Spaces that designated themselves as traumagenic only are often harassed for not allowing endos, even if they haven't actually said anything against endos. There's very little recognition of the difference in the experiences. And as for the severity, it's in between. I'm not saying every space is being completely overrun, but it's difficult to see spaces harassed, crowded with people whose space it isn't, etc. when we just want to be recognized as what we are and have community.
I realize that last little bit could come across as antagonizing, so let me just say I'm not trying to blame all endos or say that they're, like, the root of all the problems in the community.
Anyways, I hope that clears things up! Thank you for the ask and for asking for clarification :) Again I'm a little tired so I hope this makes sense. Have a lovely day <3

tips to make your fanfic more accessible (1/?)
When it comes to writing reader insert characters, or even original characters that are meant to be broadly relevant to your audience, it's important to write in a way that doesn't exclude people with marginalized identities from reading and connecting with your work. Everyone deserves to feel loved and represented! Since fanfic is an escape for so many of us, it's so crucial that the language we use is accessible and embraces the variety of people who might be reading your fic.
Disclaimer! I am a white, cis, plus size woman, and I would hate to misrepresent something, or leave things out, so I would LOVE to hear from some Black, BIPOC, trans, and/or minority readers about things that make you uncomfy/take you out of the story. I can add them to this post w/ credit, or you can comment below :)
Physical appearance:
-A big one here is hair. Not everyone has a hair texture or style that someone can lovingly comb their fingers through. Some readers (for extremely valid reasons, including the fact that in some contexts it can be rooted in racism) might not like the idea of a fictional character putting their hands in the reader's hair!
-The fix: think about what you're trying to convey with the action of hair-touching. Is it affection? Closeness? Foreplay? Could the character stroke the reader's hair instead of running their fingers through it? Could they trace the reader's ears?
-Another big one! Body ody ody! There's so much to say here, but I'll start with shape and size. Not everyone will be able to fit into their favourite fictional character's clothes. And for some plus size folks, it is just not realistic for a character to pick them up and throw them around. I love my body, and I don't know a single fictional character who would be able to lift me! This isn't embarrassing or asking for compliments, it's just my bodily reality.
-The fix: what terms do you use to describe the reader's body? Are they exclusive or implicitly biased? Is your reader lithe, with long legs and "a handful" of breast tissue? Is someone throwing your reader around like a sack of potatoes, or pinning them up against a wall, with no additional support?
Ability:
-This is a self call-out as well, but I've noticed that there aren't a lot of multi-chapter fanfics which include characters with disabilities. This is tricky, as I think a lot of writers might not necessarily have lived experience with needing mobility aids, or things like blindness and deafness, etc. I don't necessarily think that able-bodied writers should be attempting this, but it's something to think about.
-The fix: Could your character achieve their movements with a prosthetic limb? How might they experience things differently if they're overstimulated? Uplift fic writers with disabilities and diverse lived experiences! Reblog their work!
Sex and gender:
-This one is also a bit complex because writers might not know exactly where to start when it comes to writing someone with a different gender identity, or mode of presentation. Especially when you're writing explicit sex scenes, I think it's okay to write things with a specific anatomy in mind, as long as you're clear about who you're writing for from the outset (e.g. character x fem!reader in the chapter notes or A/N).
-Not everyone who likes being called "good girl" has breasts and a vagina. Some men don't have penises. Trans and intersex people exist and are incredibly LOVED and CHERISHED on this blog. <3
-The fix: If you're writing a fic where anatomy is less important, go for gender neutral terms of endearment, and gender neutral pronouns. Maybe switch things up and try writing a reader character with a different gender identity to your own!
_________________________________________________
TL;DR- 1) Uplift fanfic by underrepresented communities (this can vary by fandom, but queer/LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, and neurodivergent authors are a great place to start!)
2) Do an accessibility proofread- does your reader have any characteristics that aren't broadly applicable to readers? Are these characteristics essential to the plot?
3) If you're part of a minority community, embrace the things that make you unique! Let writers know if they're excluding you. Or as a writer, write yourself down. Produce some of the representation that you can't find elsewhere (if you feel up to it).
4) Write from a place of love. We love what we write about, whether it's characters, story worlds, or one bed tropes. Extend that love to all of your readers :) <3

where do all these rules come from?? you weren't so strict when you started
Hi nonnie. So your ask sat in my inbox since yesterday and I thought about this statement a lot.
Answer under the cut. It's salty.
cw anon hate, cw roleplay etiquette, cw negativity.
I'm part of the RPC on Tumblr for maybe 1.5 years ... well since I started with Eskel in January 2022. I've been RPing on other social media for more than a decade now..but nothing could really compare to Tumblr.
The anonymity of this platform in particular is something that plays a huge part in why I started being very assertive of my boundaries.
I started out casually with a few rules here and there, but over the cause of over a year I learned a lot. Learned about the community works and what red flags to look out for. I learned how to improve my writing, how to spot partners who might be a good match. Learned how to tag, how to run a hub, how to run single blogs and multi blogs etc.
Through RPing on here I also realized a lot about what bothers me. Which wasn't all that clear to me. So over time I collected turn offs and turn ons, limits and likes.
That's a universal experience, a lot of RP partners told me the same.
As a people pleaser I tried to not be "weird" and have a whole set of rules and have potential partners jump through hoops. I tried to be as kind, benign and approachable as possible for new interactions, since RPing is just such a fulfilling hobby and I love making new friends and partners.
But as I started to be assertive about boundaries, I got hate.
And I wonder for what reason anyone would send a roleplayer hateful messages because they got more strict over time? Like?
Do I even want to have partners who don't respect m boundaries? I think not.
There has been drama, ghosting, hate, god modding, force shipping, mass dropping, vagueing, confronting me with my triggers over and over and over and at one point enough is enough and you rage type your rules down, sit on them for a week and then write them down again in a calm and neutral manner.
This is how my set of rules came to be.
Ngl when I joined and stumbled over the first rule docs with passwords in it, all cap pinned posts saying DON'T FOLLOW FIRST or NO OLD PEOPLE (they literally meant people over 21)—I scoffed. I thought, okay, some people are really full of themselves, huh?
But now I get it. Even all caps, red bold letters in bio and pinned post won't stop people from ignoring your boundaries completely and feel entitled to justifications of the other person's rules.
I described threads as a partner project and I mean it. That's why it's essential to know your own and the partner's boundaries. Boundaries are a good thing. Took me very long to understand that. And it's not a decision against someone else, it's a decision in your own favour and for your own comfort. Not everyone has to like or understand them but the demand to respect them isn't narcissistic, entitled, arrogant or whiny. It's basic human decency.
If someone thinks they're above you and your boundaries don't matter—screw them.

👐, 💋, 💫 , 🍭, 🎈
Thank you for so many!!! 💙💙💙 (for this ask game)
🤲 what do YOU get out of writing?
I mentioned the personal and creative fulfillment in the previous ask but the other thing is the community and immediate gratification of fic writing. I do write original fiction too and I miss the feedback I get when I post a new chapter in a fic. It's hard finishing something up without getting to hear people's favourite silly little joke, you know? I'm weak!!!
💋 when you leave comments on a fic, do you want to hear back from the writer?
Hmm I don't feel especially strongly one way or another 🤔 If I've asked a question then I suppose I like getting an answer. And there have been a couple of times I've left an author multiple comments and not gotten responses and I do slightly worry that it's because they hate me and want me to stop commenting but I recognize that my reaction is ridiculous and entirely in my head. In general I'm fine either way and if an author isn't replying because they're busy and/or overwhelmed I get it and I would never want to add any pressure to them!
💫 what is your favorite kind of comment/feedback?
It's probably a cop-out but I really do like most of them! Yeah the in-depth comments with theories and notes on characterization and stuff are incredible (and I am hugging everyone who has ever sent one of those) but I do enjoy the simple heart emojis or "kudos!" comments too.
I guess the only things I don't like are impatient demands for an update (believe me, I promise I feel bad enough about my WIPs already) or when people are very critical of a character or call them stupid in a non-affectionate way. Most of the time the vibe is "they're stupid because the pining is so obviously mutual!!!" but in a fun way because we know we're reading an idiots to lovers fic so obviously the pining is mutual but sometimes the tone is off or something and it feels like a criticism of my characterization because Obi-Wan is not that stupid in canon so why am I writing him like that? Idk, even when my characters are doing something dumb I want their actions to seem rational to them and it makes me worry I'm not accomplishing that. I'm probably being too sensitive but those comments do make me overthink (even more than usual).
🍭 why did you start writing?
It's a bit silly in retrospect but I started writing obikin specifically because I'd been reading fics for a couple months (and loving them!) but it seemed to me that a lot of fics were about how handsome and amazing Obi-Wan is and there were fewer talking up Anakin. Which I do get a) because Anakin goes on multiple killing sprees and helps run a fascist dictatorship for 20 years and b) it's harder to write Obi-Wan pining over Anakin because of the power imbalance between them. Even I struggled with it when I wrote my one master/padawan fic and I made it extremely clear that Anakin had been in love with Obi-Wan for ages already.
But the first obikin fic I ever wrote was a 5+1 that could be summarized as "everyone thinks Anakin is extremely charming and pretty" and honestly I've never really strayed from that. I like to think there's more going on but whenever I write from Obi-Wan's POV I tend to go a bit overboard with the immediate attraction. In my defence Anakin is very cute.
🎈describe your style as a writer; is it fixed? does it change?
I'd say: not very poetic, lots of dialogue (I write dialogue first and fill in the gaps afterwards) and heavy on the POV character's internal monologue. I often struggle to describe what characters are doing and then I start making everyone shrug constantly to compensate. If I didn't find first person POV kind of annoying it would probably be a natural fit for my writing. I try to change things up occasionally especially if I'm writing in a different genre than usual but I feel like my style is still pretty consistent. But I could be wrong!

4th Heist - Kyoto
Tumblr media
Maria learns about culture. Fujiko makes a discovery. Lupin looks into the mirror.
[CW: Blood, Domestic Abuse, Police Violence]
We open on a very young Goemon Ishikawa XIII, watching a Kabuki play with his father. Goemon's father looks like an average, unsuspecting businessman. Combed hair, glasses, shirt and tie.
The play they're watching is Kinmon Gosan no Kiri, which is a telling of the legend of the historical Goemon Ishikawa. The current scene depicts Goemon on top of the Sanmon gate at Nanzen-ji, describing the beauty of the view surrounding him.
Young Goemon asks his father who this man is, and his father answers that's is an ancestor. When young Goemon asks if this man is his grandfather, his father laughs and says no, this person lived much, much farther back. He then checks his clock and tells his son that he needs to use the bathroom. Goemon's dad gets up and exits the row of seats, leaving his son behind.
We jump forward in time. The play has continued for quite a bit and the scene has grown dark and suspenseful. On stage, Goemon is now threatened by enemy general Mashiba Hisayoshi. Little Goemon XIII gets frightened, but his dad still isn't there. He gets up to go look for the bathroom.
He finds it. As he opens the door, he sees his dad- And in his hands the man he just killed. And he's not the only one. The bathroom is almost completely destroyed and six corpses are littered about. Goemon's father slashed the throat of the man he is currently choking out with a familiar sword, he turns around, just to meet his son's shocked gaze.
Tumblr media
This is actually the first piece of art I made for this series!
Goemon wakes up, but immediately recoils in pain. Lupin, Jigen and Mariya look down to him. Jigen tells Goemon to lay down still since he still needs to recover from the wounds he sustained from the fight in Lockwood Tower. Muscles in his arms and his abdomen were completely pierced. Despite the warnings, he gets up and stumbles to the window to see a familiar landscape outside: Kyoto, his home.
Lupin, who is pretty clearly in a foul mood, explains that after they escaped via helicopter, Lupin flew them to a hospital and then posed as a doctor to have him transported back here. He also explains that his injuries are so serious that Goemon won't be able to train or fight for at least eight weeks, dead minimum. Actually, Goemon shouldn't even be able to stand right now. In an off-handed comment he says that now, Goemon isn't really pulling any weight for the team right now and that Jigen made Lupin bring him here. "A waste of time", he scoffs, "You guys are just lucky that the next item for the competition is going to be a piece of cake." Goemon asks what the next piece of the hunt is- and Lupin smiles: It's the silver Kiseru-pipe of the Goemon clan.
Goemon is shocked and says that this is absolutely off the table. Lupin disagrees, saying that if they don't take it, someone else will. And besides, to the shock of everyone, Lupin has already send a calling card. Goemon makes it very clear that he intents to protect this precious heirloom. In return, Lupin swears to steal it, right from under his nose. He tells the rest of the room to come with him. Mariya, still content on finding out more about her father's death, joins him. Jigen just down and says nothing, but he's not moving. Feeling betrayed, Lupin leaves him.
After a while of standing strong, Goemon falls back down. Jigen puts him back onto the bed, where Goemon asks about Alice. Jigen explained that Lupin got into communication with Zenigata who promised that because of a lack of evidence, Alice was discharged and that because he was called to Japan anyways, he would drop her off close by, adding that this was "only a set-up to trap and catch you guys, so don't get any wrong ideas!". Goemon is relieved.
We jump to Zenigata at the Organized Crime Department of the Criminal Affairs Bureau, Interpol's headquaters in Tokyo. His superior seems annoyed but explains that he is being put on the Lupin case again since the DNA database in Lockwood Tower was destroyed. Zenigata nods on autopilot. Ever since Mariya's betrayal, he's been feeling blue. The police chief finishes by saying that while Zenigata seems to have the smarts and knowledge to find Lupin, he is missing the strength to actually catch him. So, another office is being assigned to the case with him.
Tumblr media
Meloi Burua, a.k.a. Melon Cop, an officer that makes it clear that he is willing to do everything to close a case.
Zenigata is appaled by his new colleague's aloof behaviour, but has no chance to interject. Melon Cop seems pretty adamant about getting started on the Lupin case and asks the police chief to keep Alice Cartwright a bit longer. He's sure that he can make her talk. Zenigata interjects that she has not seen her father in about twenty years and so it would be unlikely that she knows much, but the police chief gets hushy and says that as long as he gets results, M.C. is allowed to to whatever he wants with the woman. The Americans wants Lupin, and they want him quickly.
Lupin meanwhile seeks to get one up on the competition. He calls Fujiko. She explains that he is reportedly going up against Toyotomi Hideyoshi XIII, a descendant of a Samurai and feudal lord unified Japan and then invaded Korea. Apparently, he believes himself to be the rightful heir of the Emperor of Japan and has an obsession with melting down his opponents weapons into his own. Fujiko makes Lupin an offer: If he wants to know more, he should meet her at a rooftop bar in downtown Kyoto where she will explain more. Lupin agrees and brings Mariya with him.
Goemon meanwhile makes his way to the Gorokizu residence, Goemon Ishikawa's civillian name, before ascending to legendhood. Here, Jigen and Goemon meet Goemon's Grandfather. Goemon confesses about losing Zantezuken, but Goemon XI wants to hear nothing about it. He berates Goemon XIII and tells him that he's nothing but a disappointment, just like his father. After failing his first assassination job, killing Lupin The Third, Goemon XIII was banned from ever entering his home again. Now, he's come to return to beg on his hands and knees to be re-trained to find his way again. Jigen can do nothing but watch as Goemon XI gets up and beats his grandson over the head with his walking stick. Goemon XIII now lies flat on the ground. His grandfather says that he will resume his training and leaves the room, but the only way to welcomed back is if he completes the task he originally failed: Killing Lupin The Third.
Goemon begins training intensively, with inspiration from his training montage in Goemon's bloodspray. Jigen stays by his side but is unsure whether to try and stop him, singe Goemon's wounds start reopening. Meanwhile, Goemon explains the disappointment that his Goemon Ishikawa XII, his father.
Like all heirs to the Goemon name, his father was trained by his father to be an assassin. Operating globally to whoever pays most, Goemon Ishikawa XII was brutal, precise and discrete. That all changed when he met his mother, a politician in Senegal. The two fell in love and had a mad affair, but when his father found out about the two, he left his son two choices: Leave the woman he loves and be expelled from the family or marry a Japanese woman and retain the family name.
That year, he married the love of his life and soon later, his son was born, the Goemon Ishikawa XIII we know today, even though that was not his birth name. Our Goemon explains that his father continued his dangerous line of work. Bitter, he says that his love made him careless and soft. Goemon Ishikawa XII was killed on a job when our Goemon was eight years old.
The custody now fell to his grandfather who made Goemon disavow his father and swear to never see his mother again in exchange for rejoining the Goemon clan and getting trained in the art of assassination, like his father, and his father before him. Our Goemon, filled with anger at his father for leaving him all alone, agreed. Thus begun his training to become the deadliest assassin his family had ever known. He finally fought his way to getting the name Goemon Ishikawa passed down to him. His birthright. Finally, for his first job, killing Lupin The Third, he was gifted a family heirloom and the sharpest sword on the planet- Zantezuken. Goemon is angry at himself for failing this first task and his naiveté of getting roped into Lupin's gang. Jigen disagrees.
"You've got to give one thing to him though. Without that scumbad, we would've never met. And let me get this straight: What you're putting yourself through is insane. Listen. I care about you, and Daisuke Jigen doesn't care about anybody."
The gunslinger digs a little deeper. Goemon seems to still hold onto his belief of his father as a weakling but reveals that boyhood was hard for him. Being stoic and focused on his training, it was impossible for him to find any friends.
Tumblr media
An early concept. Since his childhood, he's been seen as nothing but a monster.
Meanwhile, Lupin and Mariya meet Fujiko. Lupin is stressed and wants to get down to business, but Fuijko insists of taking it easy first. They get drinks and sit down. After a while of flirting (which makes Mariya a bit uncomfortable), Lupin leaves to take a whizz.
Fujiko now sprints into action, telling Mariya to get up and follow her. When Mariya asks if Fujiko is abandoning Lupin here, she says yes. Fujiko explains that the person they both are looking for, Lockwood's second in command, Suzuki, is in a secret underground club in this very building. Since Suzuki had already seen Lupin he needs to stay out of this. In exchange for taking Mariya to see Suzuki, she wants some of the info extracted from the Lockwood HQ computer terminals. Mariya is shocked how Fujiko knows about her looking for Suzuki, but Fujiko explains that Lupin told her.
She explains: "I know what you want, and about your gift. I may not have future vision, but I know that you'll come along. You saw that Suzuki would be here. That's why you begged Jigen to bring Goemon to Kyoto. That's why you tagged along with Lupin. We want the same thing, right? So why not work together."
Mariya reluctantly agrees. Fujiko is happy and notes that Mariya seems like a young woman that reminds her of herself: willing to do whatever it takes.
In the elevator, Fujiko makes a deduction based on the data from the tower. Since the DNA stoles from thieves around the world was taken during deals with the people from the King of Thieves competition, there must be a link between it and Lockwood. While she notes that Lockwood could have simply bought the data from whoever runs the competition, she is sure that Mariya and her are about to meet the person that runs the competition.
Fujiko notes that whether or not she realizes or wants it, Mariya's power is an incredible tool for thieves.
The elevator ride is longer than expected. Fujiko asks Mariya what she wants to do with Suzuki wants she finds him. Mariya is frozen. She hadn't even thought that far. Fujiko winks at her and reassures that to just follow her example. Suzuki will be wrapped around their fingers in no time. Mariya notes that from what little time she had spend with Lupin, the two of them seem pretty similar. Fujiko laughs but then gets strangely serious and promises that that's not the case at all.
They arrive at the secret club. The atmosphere in here is thick. The air smells like smoke and perfume. Mariya and Fujiko take masks at the entrance and join the people.
Evening turns to night. Goemon, his grandfather and Jigen have turned in for the night. Then, the assault starts. The family residence is surrounded by men with guns. Goons, as it seems, of Toyotomi Hideyoshi XIII. They set fire to a part of the ancient building to distract the inhabitants and get access to the kiseru-pipe. The house's inhabitants wake up and Goemon's grandfather orders him to take care of the criminals and defend the heirloom. Without his sword and still badly wounded, Gomeon fights his way, fists versus guns, through the burning halls of the Goemon residence.
Jigen, thinking practically, wants to extinguish the fire first- but no modern extinguishers in sight. When he asks Goemon XI why there's no fire extinguishers in the house, "it's not the olden times anymore where you need a chain of buckets from the village well", the old man responds that the house doesn't need one because no-one would dare set fire to the residence of Goemon Ishikawa.
Meanwhile, Melon Cop has ordered the arrest of Alice Cartwright again, to "interrogate" her. So, she has been send to Kyoto prison. Melon Cop wants to be close to the residence of Lupin's frequent collaborator, Goemon Ishikawa XIII, just in case, despite Zenigata saying that Goemon has not been observed entering his home for years. Alice is obviously scared about being in prison in a foreign country, and Zenigata, who insisted on coming too, does his best to comfort her. He explains that his is all a misunderstanding, and that everything will be alright. Just then, one of Melon Cop's informants comes through, bringing the news that Lupin has been spotted in a club in downtown Kyoto. He tells Zenigata to come along and grabs his signature weapon- a baseball bat. Alice makes Zenigata promise to not hurt her dad. She's not seen him in years and despite him being a stubborn dirtbag, she's not ready to lose him again.
Back in the underground club, Fujiko has managed to loosen up Suzuki. By acting like a pretty thief out of her depth, Suzuki has spilled the beans on being the mastermind of the King of Thieves competition. He says that while Lockwood's business is war, the "true goals of the boss are way beyond that". Fuijko begins to ask more about the boss, but Suzuki doesn't break just yet. All he says is that thanks to the boss, he is as flawless as he is now. Without the boss, a woman like Fujiko wouldn't have even looked at him. They kiss.
Mariya breaks the kiss up by asking about the kind of soliders Lockwood Industries create. When asked how she knows all of this by a suddenly suspicious Suzuki, Fujiko interjects and explains that her friend is a scientist that is interested in working for Lockwood Industries. Suzuki laughs menacingly and explains that he hates leeches. He says that the last scientists that worked on Project Exodus did such solid work that they didn't even bother leaving them alive since they left such extensive notes on how the project worked.
Suzuki explains: "You only get deticated people like that once in a lifetime. These sick bastards were willing to experiment on their own children. Could you imagine? Yuck. Children, I mean. Not the experiments."
They laugh.
Just then, Lupin sneaks up behind them, in mask as well. He tells Mariya and Fujiko to leave since police are getting ready to raid the building. Before any of them can respond, the elevator arrives on their floor. Ding! The doors open and deafening gunfire starts.
We go back to the Goemon residence. A person stands hidden outside of the building. The man hiding out here checks his watch. What is taking them so long?
Out of nowhere, a shadow jumps out and slams the person to the ground. Goemon Ishikawa XIII, bloody, beaten and bruised, kneels over Toyotomi Hideyoshi XIII and begins choking him to death. Out of breath, Jigen arrives and begs Goemon to show mercy.
"Goemon, please! He's just a snot-nosed little shit. He's not worth it."
Goemon finally snaps out of his rage and looks at his opponent. Jigen is right. The person below him, dressed in a fine black suit and with a tacky pair of gold-rimmed glasses is a teenager, maybe nineteen years old at the maximum. The boy seems about ready to pee his pants and is squealing and begging for mercy. He just wanted to be emperor, king again, as is his right. He's screaming for his bodyguards and his daddy. Goemon let's go for a moment. Jigen breathes a sigh of relief, but then Goemon violently grabs the boy again and tells him that if the two of them ever meet again there will be no mercy. The boy agrees vehemently and runs off into the night.
Jigen and Goemon look back at the burning house. Jigen begins to speak.
"Shame about that house. Might've made for a nice vacationing spot."
Goemon responds. "If this was really meant to be, let it burn. Down to the soil."
Back in the underground club, a whole shootout between the cops and the murky customers has begun. Lupin sneaks ahead, Fujiko and Mariya behind him. He knocks one officer out and the group are now standing in front of the elevator. They get in and Lupin presses the UP-button, but Fujiko holds the door open. As Lupin asks what in the world Fujiko is doing, Suzuki calmly steps in. He thanks Fujiko for her services and says that he wasn't sure about the whole charade but that she has fulfilled her part of the deal- bringing him Lupin the Third. Both Mariya and Lupin are shocked at Fujiko's betrayal, but Suzuki uses the moment to punch Lupin in the face and drag him out of the elevator. As the doors close on a frozen-in-place Mariya, Fujiko tells her not to view her too harshly. They're both just woman doing what they have to, after all. Mariya stays in the elevator alone and in silence as it begins to move upwards.
After what feels like forever, the doors open back up. Out on the roof, talking to civilians, is Inspector Zenigata. He sees a the elevator open, and pulls his gun out- but as soon as he sees Mariya, tears in her eyes, he lets the gun fall and runs to her. They hug and Mariya says she's sorry for what she's done.
Under the dark night sky, Jigen and Goemon are watching the stars. Goemon is exhausted and rests his head on Jigen's shoulder. Their hands touch. Just then, Goemon's grandfather appears on the scene. He has rescued to pipe and says that Goemon still has to stop Lupin from getting it- and then kill him. Goemon, with help from Jigen, gets up. He says that yes, he will protect the heirloom. Yes, he will honor his forefathers. But no, he will not kill Lupin anymore. Or anyone, for that matter. He tells his grandfather straight into his face that he is sick of being used as a weapon. His grandfather gets furious. He berates him for having forgotten the true meaning of the outlaw Goemon Ishikawa, whose very name struck fear into the hearts of his enemies. Goemon responds that he finds it funny- the scene he remembers most from the legend of Goemon Ishikawa is when he sacrifices himself to save his son from getting boiled alive. He takes the pipe and leaves.
Suzuki and Fujiko use the chaos of the club raid to bring Lupin to a second service elevator. Lupin has his mouth taped over and can only stare angrily at Fujiko, who doesn't avert her gaze but tells Suzuki that she'll get herself a drink and will join her "boys" later. Suzuki is fascinated by Fujiko's carelessness.
"What a woman. You're a lucky guy, Lupin The Third. Well, were".
Just as Suzuki gets ready to leave, Melon Cop enters the frame. He says that he's been looking for Lupin and that he's under arrest. Suzuki pulls his gun and asks who the FUCK this guy is. Melon Cop responds.
"Hey now, I don't want you." And promptly shoots Suzuki straight in the head. He then grabs his bat and lightly pokes Lupin on the forehead. Lupin still has tape over his mouth but has managed to free his hands from the rope binding them. "Now- as for you..."
Melon Cop reels back- and swings at Lupin's head. He takes a step back- into the service elevator. Melon Cop follows, presses the UP-button, and the door close behind them.
We then see Suzuki's lifeless body laying on the ground. A pair of familiar high-heels step next to them. Fujiko leans down and grabs Suzuki's phone. There's a call incoming. The caller is someone called MAMO. She answers.
"Mr. Suzuki? No, I fear he's currently not available. That being said, I do think that I might still be able to help..."
Seemingly unbothered by the chaos and gunfire around her, she disappears into the smoke.
The two of them begin to fight in the elevator. Well, technically Lupin is just trying to survive until the elevator arrives at the ground floor. Melon Cop relentlessly attacks with his bat while Lupin evades. The small elevator room makes it more difficult for M.C. to get good swings in with his bat. Ding! The door opens. Lupin stops another swing with his hands, rips the bat out of Melon Cop's hands and beats him once right in the back of his knee- M.C. kneels down and yells out in pain. Lupin uses the moment to escape into the cool nights. He manages to steal a police car, but not before Melon Cop manages to shoot him into the leg. Lupin drives off.
Having bandaged his leg, Lupin, delirious from the blood loss, exits his stolen car and limps to the entrance of his hotel. Safety is within reach. Just then, a shadow reveals itself from under a tree, stepping into the moonlight. Goemon Ishikawa XIII. The two thieves stand opposite of each other in the middle of the parking lot. They both look like shit.
Lupin asks if Goemon still plans on stopping him, adding "I could still kick your ass, any day, even like this." Goemon declined the invitation to violence, adding that he just wants to talk.
The two of them sit down and leans against the street lamp and reminisce about the first time they met.
Tumblr media
Goemon's first assignment as after finishing his grandfather's assassin training was to kill Lupin the Third.
Tumblr media
While Goemon was showboating his new weapon, the Zantetsuken, Lupin swapped it out for a fake. Goemon had to swear his life to Lupin to get his sword back- after helping him in a heist, of course. And even though Lupin kept his promise and returned the sword, Goemon stayed with him- and Daisuke Jigen- for many adventures afterwards.
Goemon says that it's strange how much his family still clings to this historical figure that neither of them have met or even know someone that met them. As heir to the Lupin name, Arséne Lupin the Third understands this very well. What's even funnier to Goemon according to his family history, Goemon the first and his son were killed, leaving his daughter to carry on the family name and tradition. This isn't something his grandfather told him about. Lupin reveals that he is actually really the third male heir of the original Arséne Lupin, who lived in France during the Victorian Era. So, his family is actually a long line of female thieves, with only one other male heir, Lupin the Second, his grandfather. After bonding for a while over shared family pressure and trauma, Goemon goes back to business.
He reveals to Lupin that he has brought the family pipe with him, but that he's not planning to give it away. Despite everything that happened, he still wants to honor his ancestor- but in his way, as a thief that does good. Lupin says that it's fine, he can keep it. Goemon asks if that is really alright since that would mean Lupin not advancing to the next round of the King of Thieves tournament. Lupin says that he doesn't even care about that stupid competition anymore and that a true gentleman doesn't care about what other people think about his standing. And besides, he can always just steal the crown from whoever wins.
Goemon now gets serious. He reiterates that he is sick of being used as a tool and weapon- that goes for his family, but for Lupin as well. He says that the team dynamic needs to change. Lupin is silent and nods, saying that he needs some time to think. Goemon leaves for the hotel room.
Meanwhile, inside, we see Jigen. He's waiting for a call from Zenigata. Finally, he picks up the phone and calls him. Zenigata answers, currently in a taxi with Mariya who is napping. Jigen asks about Alice, where she is and when he can see her. Zenigata seems confused and says that Jigen went to pick her up already.
We see a flashback as Zenigata describes to Jigen what happened when Mariya and him returned to the Kyoto police department.
Zenigata had entered the holding cell tract only to find Alice gone. The local officer (which Zenigata doesn't know and therefor doesn't further describe but the one that we know as Mr. Flinch) tells him that the woman's father came to pick her up. He shows Zenigata a still from the security tape on a computer that stands on the desk in front if him. Indeed, we can see Jigen- even though he is dressed differently from the one we know- leave the room with Alice. Zenigata nods and exits.
As he leaves, we can see the security video play in full. "Jigen" enters the prison block, shoots two of the security guards and grabs Alice, who he doesn't seem to recognize. With no regard for her disability, he pulls her out of her cell and exits. As we pan downwards- below the desk- we notice two bodies stuffed underneath. The officer (Mr. Flinch) presses a button on the keyboard- and the security tape is deleted.
We fade out over Jigen on the phone panicking as Zenigata's taxi drives into the sunset.

These radqueers disturb me. Some of them talk about wanting to 'transition' by removing body parts and blinding themselves. They're created this community where they all validate each other and don't even see what they want as a problem. They think it's something they need. They parade it as a good thing.
If you are fortunate enough to have a healthy body, please treasure it and appreciate it. You have no idea how much freedom you have. You can spend a day out without your joints hurting. You can go on hikes and experience beautiful nature. You can go to amusement parks without the pain of standing in lines being a problem. You don't have to worry about getting arthritis or whether an activity would be too hard on your joints. You should treasure that freedom.
I get it. You all believe if you make yourselves look sick enough then people will pay attention to you. But I want you to really think about what you're saying. The true reality of 'transitioning' to such a life would be painful, and it would make your life harder, not easier. You would have to completely change how you live. I know you think you'll have it easier and that everyone will take care of you, but that's a very naive way of thinking.
Making yourself helpless won't help you. Neither will inflicting more traumas on yourselves. Loving your body, and appreciating what it does for you is so important.
These people are so stupid! I hate them! They're so fucking stupid! I hate them, I hate them! Why are they so stupid?
When I was a teenager, I was obsessing over fandoms or daydreaming. Why can't they just do that? Why do they have to be such morons instead!
Because it's fucking moronic. To want to amputate yourself. To want yourself to be mind controlled. To want your life to be worse. Why? It'll just make it harder to achieve a good life. It'll make it harder to heal.
They are so fucking idiotic. I don't care how much they have allegedly suffered. Some things are just outright unhealthy and toxic.
I wish I could force them to see how stupid they're being. I wish I could say what I really want to say. Because having this type of trauma means I often cannot say what I want to say. But I will say this.
None of you have ever bothered to self reflect. You refuse to accknowledge any problem whatsoever with your behaviours or reflect on why you're doing them. But it's clear you want to feel special. You want to have suffered the most. You feel the pain you have experienced wasn't enough, so you strive for more.
Do you know how if feels to see people claiming they want my trauma. That they need to have experienced it? Do you know how angry it makes me feel? It's a cold, simmering anger.
By all means, yank the trauma out of my skull and take it for yourself. No take backs. 😊 Once you are hit with the flashbacks you'll understand. I've seen PTSD flashbacks described as feeling the past is happening in the present moment, but I feel that doesn't quite emphasise just how real those sensations feel. Just how much they really do feel like they are real physical sensations happening to you right now.
And don't foreget about the rules. Have fun navigating the rules. I certainly won't miss them. Good luck with feeling trapped in your own head, for years, unable to front. Unable to have any sense of ownership over your own life. Because news flash! You don't belong in the outside world. You must stay, hidden away. Unseen by even your own system.
And I, for one, will be glad to be able to freely speak of forbidden things. To finally feel like other people don't have control over the inner workings of my brain. I truly hope you enjoy feeling like that. Truly.
Because it's what you asked for, isn't it? It's exactly what you want. To feel like an object. To be humiliated. To be shamed. To be worthless.
You wouldn't be able to handle it. You wouldn't be able to survive it. You can't even imagine it.
Truly, I hope you grow up to feel deeply embarrassed of your actions. I hope you get no closure from it and have to live with that shame forever. You are all a blight on society.
You may call me cruel, you may call me mean, but that is how the lot of you make me feel. Your desire to have experienced my trauma is what sparks this deep anger within me. How dare you want this.
How dare you. Want this.

🦋 chart shape, dominants
your chart is a locomotive shape. this means that you're a very ambitious person, with a lot of energy. the moon has a big influence on you, and your life revolves around understanding your feelings and emotional growth. the empty part of your life is what you have to develop, hence your family, financial life and also your communication and thinking style.
your dominant planets are mars, venus and the you are probably quite creative, or at least you have a passion for creative outlets; you may like music, reading, cooking, etc. you may be a trendsetter among your peers, or you may even become pretty well-known in your field. you are very sensitive and empathic, it comes natural for you to understand and absorb others' feelings. as a result, you might be quite introverted, you get tired easily when in social contexts.
your dominant sign is pisces. you're a genuine, caring person who loves daydreaming. it's a sort of way to escape reality, but it gives you an enormous amount of creativity. you also possess a strong intuition, which can make you have a sort of sixth sense.
your dominant element is water. you're very intuitive and empathetic, you care a lot about others, and you may seem like a healer to people you know. in fact, you always try to help them if you can, almost in a therapeutic way. you're also very spiritual, and you're attracted to anything related to discovering your higher self and soul purpose.
🌎 ascendant in libra, 18° / 2nd decan ruled by venus and uranus
you're naturally likable, you have a particular charm to you that makes everyone drool over you. you're very nice and outgoing, you always try to make others feel at ease. you're very considerate of others' feelings. you strive for fairness and justice, it's the way you approach others and the world. basically, you treat others like they treat you: if they're kind with you, you'll be very sweet. otherwise, you'll turn very sarcastic and harsh, almost cold at a certain point. you're very opinionated, you always feel the need to express your thoughts as you're very proud of them. in addition, since you always decide whether something is right or not, you may come off as a know-it-all. on the other hand, you're very sociable and you enjoy being in company, doesn't matter whether you're with your family, friends, lover etc. you may get to know many people throughout your life, but your friendships may not be much stable. you are surrounded by people, but you could feel lonely particularly often. I also need to point out that libra is ruled by venus, the planet of beauty. you're most likely very attractive and magnetic. even if not necessarily conventionally, people find themselves attracted to you. you may have sparkling doe eyes, with also full lips and a defined cupid's bow. your face is more on the longer side, perhaps you have a heart-shaped face, with high cheekbones and a pointy chin. you may also have naturally amazing, fluffy and flowing hair. your body is also very feminine, with a lot of curves and softness to it. it's very romantic, to sum up. also, your hair is probably naturally beautiful; it could be curly, or at least it's very thick and healthy-looking, even if you don't take much care of it.
libra ascendant opposite aries venus: this aspect makes you more sociable and prone to interact with people. you’re also most probably very attractive, people are naturally drawn to you. the downside of this placement is that you may suffer from self-esteem issues, as you really care about others’ impression of you. maybe you’re a little bit clumsy too. it’s easy for you to gain popularity, but be careful as it’s not always good. popularity brings scandals too, so people you see in your everyday life could possibly start gossips around you. the good thing about this aspect is that you emanate loyalty, so you usually choose loyal and trust-worthy partners. this placement may also bring issues and problems in marriage with your future partner.
🌞 sun in pisces, 25° / 3rd decan ruled by neptune and pluto
this is the most intuitive pisces decan. you understand people’s thoughts just by looking at them, it’s like you’re staring at their souls. in fact, you’re extremely empathetic, you probably find yourself being a psychologist for your friends. or maybe, you’re actually a psychologist. you’re amazingly creative and imaginative, you have the ability to picture your ideas. this is an amazing talent, in fact most artists have pisces placements. the downside to pisces is that I’ve noticed that, since they know they’re vulnerable, they have the tendency to lie. they don’t do it out of cruelty of course, it’s a sort way to protect their ego. you could want to be seen as bolder than you are, hence you could struggle with identity crisis, especially during your teenage years. you have your own morals and beliefs, but you could feel influenced by others to change yours. luckily, this is something that gets better with time, as you start being more aware of your persona and you start loving yourself. you're most probably a very complex individual. after all, pisces is the most 'confusing' of all the signs. you're a sort of chameleon; you act differently based on where you are and who you're with. you could be a savage with someone, an introvert with someone else. you may even feel as if there's something wrong with your mind, as you just wish you could be like others. you should focus more on pisces' positive traits, though; you're extremely compassionate and considerate. you're emotionally intelligent, and this mutability of yours could make you succeed at many different jobs in your life, as it's very easy for you to adapt to and master new things, especially with your mutable dominance. if you work hard, you can surely succeed in anything you want.
pisces sun conjunct aries mercury: you express your ego and identity through your words and ideas. you’re very opinionated and you protect strongly your beliefs. after all, you probably came up with your ideals after thinking deeply about them, you were too precise to be wrong. you’re also probably an avid reader, and you could do well in writing yourself, as you’re able to properly convey your ideals with your words. your mind is very active, and you feel comfortable letting all your thoughts out. it’s actually a way to relieve stress. you also have a wide vocabulary, and you’re capable of making a formal speech if you have to. you have a memorable way of speaking, as your words are very sharp. it’s hard for you to be ignored for your intellect. the downside to this placement is that you may be a bit too stubborn, you struggle to accept advice as you prefer doing your thing instead.
🌙 moon in pisces, 15° / 2nd decan ruled by neptune and the moon
hands down my favourite moon sign! you're extremely empathetic and sensitive, you care a lot about others and you treat others' problems as if they were yours, you get totally immersed in them. you have quite a vivid imagination, you're able to idealize and picture anything you want. while this placement gives you an incredible amount of creativity, it can also make you uncomfortable. in fact, you may actually find yourself imagining every detail of every situation, even the worst ones. let's suppose you hear of a rape at the news; you literally start imagining the scene detail by detail, and it makes you extremely uncomfortable. actually, it literally ruins your mood, as it's as if you actually lived that scene. going back to the creativity matter, you have the soul of an artist; you have very enhanced emotions, and you're able to express them through artistic outlets. you could be amazing at writing poetry, books, art, music... also, your particular empathy of human's intellect can also make you an amazing psychologist or actress, as you're able to understand others' feelings and make them your own. you're extremely spiritual, and if you don't feel like that, you just have yet to have your spiritual awakening. you may be able to talk to spirits, for example, or perhaps you have very meaningful dreams. or maybe, you could literally predict the future through them. you're also most probably an avid daydreamer, you tend to get distracted easily because you're too busy thinking about random scenarios in your head. seriously, you could even make a movie out of them. you're also an hopeless romantic, and you dream of finding not just your spouse, but your literal soulmate. to make it simple, you want all of your daydreams to become reality.
pisces moon square sagittarius pluto: your emotions are so intense that they almost scare those around you. in fact, you're prone to accentuated mood swings; when you're happy, you start smiling and laughing joyfully. when you're sad, you're the type to cry, scream, even throw up in some cases. that's how far you go with your emotions. maybe, you also feel repressed to express your feelings exactly for this reason. you probably also have a conservative/possessive mother (or just any member of your family), with whom you don't feel at ease expressing your emotions. or maybe, your mother was absent throughout your life. on the other hand, you can understand others' feelings, but be careful not to use it to manipulate others. you could also be very paranoid, and might develop addictions and anxiety disorders. if you don't feel comfortable speaking to someone you know and there's something you need to talk about, I'd suggest you to do it with a therapist. don't be afraid to face your emotions, you'll only be able to control them if you get know them.
🗣️ mercury in aries, 1° / 1st decan ruled by mars
you are a fast-thinker, even though that doesn't mean you always take the right choices. in fact, you can change your mind very often. you probably have a beautiful, melodic voice, even though it's likely very loud. you also speak as fast as you think, making it hard sometimes to keep up with you in a speech. you could also switch from a topic to another casually. you don't really enjoy thinking about the past nor the future, you only care about the present and you live it they way you feel; hence, you're not really the type to care about learning from your mistakes. you always see the positive side of them, which can be both good and bad actually. that's because you're quite stubborn, it's hard to make you change your mind. you're very straight-forward, and that could lead you to conflicts as you don't understand the impact your words have on others. your mercury is also retrograde, hence you're not much talkative, you're more on the introspective side. you may have troubles communicating your thoughts clearly, or maybe you're the one who may misunderstand/mishear what others say to you.
aries mercury conjunct aries jupiter: you say things impulsively, you're bluntly honest, and this could often hurt people around you. in addition, you like having the last word, despite being proven wrong sometimes. you have a knack for wisdom, you love being and looking smart. you're the type to spend the whole day reading and analyzing philosophical quotes and then make them your own, applying them to your life. you want to be and feel experienced, hence you may inform yourself about a variety of topics just for the sake of knowing them, perhaps you're not even that much interested in them. you could go from talking about politics to astrology, your mind is quite messy but still very full. you may possibly have a youthful voice, and sometimes you can speak in a loud volume without even realizing it. you may also exaggerate your words a lot, for example you might have got a single scratch on your cheek and call it a gash. you could possibly also be the type to joke over your own feelings, and then obviously get mad at others when they do the same with you.
❤️ venus in aries, 28° / 3rd decan ruled by mars and jupiter
with venus in aries, loving you is an adventure. you enjoy fun, exciting relationships. you're the type who's looking for a risktaker, even dangerous partner. you hate boredom, and this may be your weakness regarding this placement; that is, once the relationship starts getting more serious, you feel as if it's going down, when it's actually the opposite. hence, you just run towards a new adventure. this placement may even give you the reputation of being a player. you have to understand that relationships can get boring, but that's not necessarily a red flag. it just means you two are starting to feel comfortable together. you also enjoy physical contact, therefore cold partners are a no no for you. you need someone who's affectionate yet bold, and that would spoil you with attention and gifts. you enjoy the little things about love, such as remembering your anniversary or even giving you small presents, especially if they're homemade (like breakfast, poems etc.). you also try to avoid flaky people, as you don't like making relationships seem too light.
aries venus conjunct taurus saturn: you seem like the type of person who's not totally into the idea of love and relationships, especially in your early years. you find your individuality way more important, and you feel the need to establish your status in the world. yet, there's still a place in your heart that desires love, but it's quite hidden. maybe, you're actually afraid of falling in love; or perhaps, it's the opposite: you jump into relationships, even if they aren't actually your priority. it may be hard for you to fall for someone, but once you do, you're totally invested in them. you're quite of a traditionalist when it comes to love; you may the type that prefers being courted, rather than court yourself. you're also quite into clichés, and you're looking for a polite and ambitious partner. someone who has a stable job, and is also wealthy. basically, someone that looks (and possibly is) rich and noble. you may also have the tendency to date people that are older than you, and possibly also soulmates from your past lives. in fact, you attract many karmic partners that are here to teach you lessons. your relationships may be quite painful, or at least they're so intense that they are hard to forget. with this placement, it's also recommended to get married after your saturn return, hence after your 28-29 years old, to avoid any kind of challenges.
☄️ mars in scorpio, 12° / 2nd decan ruled by pluto and neptune
you’re an extremely goal-oriented person. you want to be the best at everything you do, not only to be better than others but also the best for yourself. you’re very astute, it’s impossible to trick you, and you always find a way to be in charge and get what you want. yet, you can get quite obsessed about your goals, that you could do extreme things to get what you want. in fact, people with this placement can even manipulate others, as they’re totally capable of doing that. people are naturally attracted to you, you have a way with words, and hence you’re always able to convince others into giving you what you want. but luckily, this doesn’t turn into manipulation, you probably don’t even realize this skill of yours, and hence you don’t use it to damage others. you are very persuasive, but you don't do it on purpose, you could actually be a little naive. when you get angry, you could actually get scary, though. your emotions are very intense, it’s hard to calm you down. you may be very sarcastic and aggressive with your words. you could hurt people, but you don’t do it on purpose. most of the time, you don’t even mean the things you say. you may also vent your anger with physical action, hence you could slam doors, punch or break things etc.
🏡 houses
your 1st house is in libra. your mars is also placed in this house. you have a peaceful approach to the world; you most likely don’t like conflicts, you prefer avoiding them, even though you may have some troubles with that due to your impulsive and fiery aries sun. you probably care a lot about your appearance, and because of that you could get insecure from time to time. usually, people with libra in their 1st house look for themselves in others, as their chart is basically upside down. yet, since you have mars in this house as well, you don’t depend on others as much as other libra risings. you’re still a free-spirit, you’re able to stand up and you come off as more fierce than the typical libra ascendant. physically, you may also have stronger features: you could have a strong jawline, a wide forehead, a distinctive nose and thinner lips than other libras.
your 2nd house is in scorpio. pluto is also sitting in this house. this placement can make you seem a bit selfish. in fact, you’re extremely possessive of your possessions, you don’t want to share them with others. there’s a lot of karma around your finances. in fact, if you’re too stingy, it may bite your butt. you need to give in order to receive, so I’d suggest you to share your things more with others. you could share a meal with a friend, for example. you’ll surely get something positive back from it. your finances may not be stable either; they are in constant change, and while this placement can make you earn quite a great amount of money, it can also make you lose everything you have. no inbetweens. the 2nd house is also about self-esteem, your relationship with your appearance. you have contrasting feelings about it; some days, you’re very confident. other days, you hate yourself. you may find flaws in every single picture you take or every pants you try on. it’s a very intense placement, as you may often feel as if you need to change your appearance in order to love yourself. based on other placements in your chart, it could manifest in spending money in a new wardrobe for example, as you feel like changing your style would help you boost your self-confidence.
your 3rd house is in sagittarius. this is an amazing placement for a writer! you’re extremely open-minded and philosophical. you’d probably do great at poetry or just literature in general. you’re thirsty for knowledge, you aspire to learn everything you can, you enjoy being smart and educated. you most likely love comedy, and you have an amazing sense of humor yourself, you’re able to light up the room and make everyone burst into laughter even if you don’t mean to. you’re also very intelligent, you’re able to memorize things fast and you’re also a fast-learner. even though you may be into gossip, you’re very benevolent and considerate of others’ feelings. in addition, you’re able to see the good in everyone, there’s no reason for you to talk behind someone’s back. actually, it’s the opposite. you’re quite impulsive, you say things as they are. if you feel sad or angry, people will most likely be able to tell. on the other hand, you’re particularly expressive, you’re able to convey all of your emotions into your words. that would make you an amazing writer, as well as an actress for example.
your 4th house is in capricorn, with the planets uranus and neptune placed there. I can tell that your childhood was quite complex. not necessarily bad, but there were a few things that you still remember to this day. your parents could have been very hard-working and focused on work, possibly wealthy too. they were very responsible and cared a lot about you, they always made sure you had everything you needed, even though they could have been slightly absent from time to time due to their jobs. people with a capricorn ic usually find something missing in their childhood, they had to deal with responsibilities from a young age. it could even be that you started working when you were still a teen. uranus indicates that there could have been a few unexpected events throughout your childhood, that could have even been quite painful. neptune, on the other hand, could have made you a bit more insecure as a child than other capricorn ics. you weren’t much extroverted, you preferred staying in, drawing, playing games etc. possibly, you were also close to arts.
your 5th house is in aquarius, with also the moon placed there. you’re extremely creative, your ideas are very innovative, and you may have particular hobbies, interests or taste than others. when you’re able to fully express yourself, you gain full security and you start experimenting and inventing new things. you could be the type to start new fashion trends, music styles, art styles… basically, you’re a creative genius. your hobbies may also involve astrology, as well as human studies like psychology, or also anything that has to do with technology. you may be into videogames for example, tv series, social media… they’re your way to spend your free-time and relax. your relationships may also be very unconventional; you could usually date people online, or perhaps you may have the potential to meet someone through dating apps. they’re quite unstable, they may end out of the blue for example. yet, the part of fortune here makes it better; in fact, you’ll be able to achieve the best of your luck through creative outlets. again, if I were in you I’d definitely try writing something! you may also dedicate yourself to fashion, art, music, etc., anything that stimulated your creativity.
your 6th house is in pisces. your sun, mercury and jupiter are also sitting there in a stellium. in your daily life, you hardly ever have a structured schedule. you go with the flow, you take things as they come. you may often have your head in the clouds, you could get distracted easily and you may literally create oscar-worthy movies in your head instead of doing what you need to do. your job may involve arts, images, possibly even fame. you should definitely use your creative talents for your possible career. also, you could benefit from helping others; you could be a psychologist or therapist of any kind, a nurse… any place where you’re able to help others. again, you could also help others through your art, hence with your lyrics, books, etc. when it comes to diets, workout routines, skincare routines etc. you could lack consistency, even though your scorpio and libra energy make you more motivated to take care of your appearance. you may sleep a lot, it’s easy for you to feel tired and stressed even when you’re not over-working yourself.
your 7th house is in aries, with also saturn conjunct venus placed there. love is most likely not your priority in life. you need independence, and you’re able to stand up for yourself on your own. you don’t need someone else to help you. you tend to attract partners in your life that are hot-headed, stubborn, assertive and goal-oriented. they strive to be the best at everything they do, they’re extremely competitive and willing to do anything to achieve their goals. basically, you attract very dominant partners, but you don’t want to be dominated or controlled. you may often experience power struggles between you and your partner, which cause you issues in every relationship you get in. at the same time, you wouldn’t stand someone too submissive either, as you still need someone that would mentally stimulate you. they may actually be quite selfish and self-centered, they’ll care more about their own development rather than that of you two as a couple. an aries 7th house indicates that while you’ll have a very active, passionate spouse, you may also experience lots of arguments and discussions in your marriage life, perhaps even physical violence. saturn here makes things a little bit complicated, though; you’re probably attracted to partners that are older than you, or at least that are very mature. there is a lot of karma surrounding your relationships; a few unsolved issues from past lives may make them challenging. I feel like you probably don’t really date anyone. I assume that you dream of finding your true love, but at the same time you’re also extremely picky with who you date, you have high standards. even though it looks like the safest way, you should actually try to solve these issues. some hardships may arise, but what matters the most is that you learn from them. don’t be afraid to date people, and above all don’t expect every relationship to be good. it’s also recommended to get married after your saturn return with this placement, hence after your 27/28 years, as I've already mentioned above.
your 8th house is in taurus. you have the most stable, stubborn sign in a house that requires constant change. you probably hate changing your routine and stepping out of your comfort zone. changes are hard for you to accept; you find it hard to change job all of a sudden for example, or even letting go of a toxic friend of yours can be stressful for you. also, you could be quite materialistic and fond of material possessions, causing you to be a bit too stingy, which isn’t good for your karma. another reason that this house contrasts with your 2nd house in scorpio is that you feel like you constantly need to change, but ironically slow taurus makes your changes way slower than usual. sometimes, when they happen, they’re so subtle that you probably can’t even see them or at least notice them at first. this placement may also indicate that you could get an inheritance.
your 9th house is in gemini. gemini in the 9th house cusp usually makes people a bit close-minded, as they are very logical and careful in their approach to the world. you may change your ideas and opinions quite quickly, to the point that you could seem unconsistent. when learning new things, you like exploring different matters and subject, from maths to literature, but you may struggle to focus on only one. as a result, you may lack precision. you're probably a fast-learner and you're very witty and curious, you like learning about anything you can. you probably like studying, not necessarily at school but studying in general, and you may also be skilled at foreign languages. you could also be interested in foreign matters, such as cultures, music, etc.
your 10th house is in cancer. your career needs to be private. that doesn’t mean that you can’t become famous of course, but you prefer being more hidden at job, you may even work from home or from a young age. many celebrities with this placement, in fact, started working when they were still young. also, cancer indicates that your future job will give you the opportunity to express and / or deal with your / others’ feelings and emotions, and considering that the ruler of this house, the moon, is in the 5th house, I can see you working in the creative field. you could become a writer, a singer, an actress, as well as a nurse, a therapist… anything that allows you to express your emotions while also communicating something is suitable for you. you could possibly also choose the same career as your parents, or you may handle the family’s business for example. you could also end up doing the job of your childhood dreams. you feel the need to pursue a meaningful career in your life, you want to feel emotionally connected to it. you don’t only want something that allows you to earn money, you also want to gain wisdom and maturity from a job, and hence you could even be a bit picky in choosing your future career.
your 11th house is in leo. with this placement, you’re probably very popular among your friends, you’re most likely the most talkative or funniest member of your group. you may also attract very popular people yourself in your friendships, perhaps even celebrities. possibly, you could even make friends that allow you to gain recognition and / or popularity, doesn’t matter whether it’s in school, job, etc. this placement is common among some of the most famous, richest celebrities out there, like johnny depp, angelina jolie, kylie jenner, etc. mercury here also indicates that you could get famous through your words, your ideas, and again you could write, sing or talk about stuff that can make you achieve fame. obviously, this doesn’t mean that it’s exactly your fate! the choice is still up to you, but your chart indicates that you’d definitely do well as a famous singer, writer, comedian, etc.
your 12th house is in virgo. this is another placement that indicates that you are an amazing writer! in fact, the 12th house is about secret skills too, and virgo is ruled by mercury, the planet of communication. you do the math. with this placement, though, I feel like you may feel restricted from pursuing your goals, or even a career in the public eye, as you’re quite sensitive to others’ criticism about you. you strive to be perfect all the time, and your libra rising wants to constantly have a nice reputation. a scandal, or even simple haters, would probably be the end of you. deep down, you actually crave affection from someone else. yet, you may be afraid, or perhaps too shy to approach a possible partner. but remember, the 12th house is also the house of secret talents! in fact, especially with your libra rising, you’re extremely likeable. you shouldn’t be afraid of not being liked back, for example. remember that your love life will get better with time, as you become more mature in that field.
❤️ love life, soulmates
in love, you attract aries, capricorn, scorpio, aquarius, leo and virgo placements. your future spouse will most likely have leo and virgo traits placements, maybe a leo - virgo cusp. they’ll be very similiar to you: bold and confident, but also with a warm heart and a hidden insecurity to them. you may meet them during a fun situation, hence at a party, during a vacation, in a restaurant, at a concert, a social gathering… possibly, even online, as I’ve already mentioned before. also, your spouse will most likely be one of your soulmates, and hence once you meet them you’ll probably have this ‘I’ve already seen you before’ feeling. they’ll seem very familiar, and you’ll find emotional comfort in them. your children will have strong aquarius, possibly capricorn placements. they’ll be very dreamy, they’ll have big goals for their life, and they’ll also be extremely intelligent and creative as well.
👶🏻 family life
your father is probably a very caring person that knows how to stand up for himself when he has to, but he may struggle to do that. he’s very smart, caring and optimistic, and he could come from a different country from yours. maybe he’s of another religion, or he can speak other languages. he could have cancer placements in his chart, possibly sagittarius too. your mother, on the other hand, is a bit more serious and focused on work, but she always made sure you always had what you needed. she was probably the strict parent in the family, but she still has some sweetness and nice humor to her. also, she may have capricorn, aquarius, pisces or sagittarius placements in her chart. if you have siblings, they most likely have sagittarius, pisces and cancer placements in their chart. they could also be foreign or skilled at foreign languages, and you may feel very at ease with them. you have an amazing bond with them, you’re able to both relax and have fun together.
📊 career
as I've already mentioned above, your future career will most likely involve communication of any kind; you could have to interact with other people, and hence you may work in a place that allows you to communicate with others and that can get quite crowded, like a shop for example. you'll most likely start from these small jobs, like working in a cafe for example. above all, communication and creativity are the most indicated fields for you to be successful. you would do amazing as a writer for example, or perhaps you could even become an amazing teacher / professor. yet, you may even choose to pursue a more complex career, like a career in the med field. you could become a nurse for example, as it allows you to both help and communicate with other people, or even a surgeon, a doctor of any kind. you could even do well in politics or in a company, especially in marketing. last but not least, you also have many fame indicators in your chart. if you're planning to work in the entertainment industry, you could definitely succeed.
👚 fashion sense, style analysis
you probably love clothes that can show and enhance your body. you may love wearing crop tops, skirts, bralettes, shorts... anything that leaves a part of your body uncovered, yet that still looks elegant and classy. you could also enjoy baggy clothes, paired with fancy accessories and heels. for colors, you go from wearing bold colours like red, burgundy and neon, to darker shades like black, dark blue etc. you probably also love neutral shades, like kaki, beige and so on.
👁️ past life, life purpose
in your past existence, you were very in touch with your home, self, and probably marriage too. overall, your past life was very peaceful, especially when it comes to your family. this lifetime, though, you need to focus on letting the world know who you are. you have to build a reputation for your name and feel satisfied with your career, while still taking care of your family.
🤔 major transits analysis / october 21
pluto is currently transiting your 4th house of capricorn. this means that your home environment might be undergoing some changes in these years; for example, you may be moving out or change house. or perhaps, you're restyling it, you're doing something that makes it different. major changes could also occur to your family. in addition, chiron is also touching your descendant; this placement gives you trouble in your relationships, as you may meet people who hurt you deeply, leaving you a wound. however, chiron acts similarly to saturn, meaning that it can reward if you learn from your wounds.
🧿 manifest what you want, secret skills
with your water placements, you probably have a 6th sense. you’re able to manifest what you want if you subconsciously predict it, even though it may be hard. you’d have to get in touch with your higher self to do so, and hence I would suggest you to light up some candles and meditate for a bit before manifesting, in this way it will be way more effective. you may manifest something while daydreaming, for example. or perhaps, you can also try listening to your own affirmations while you sleep, as you won’t be consciously aware of that. it’s probably the most effective way.
this is the end! thank you again for booking a reading, hope it resonated with you :)

science classifications are used as if they are objective and not constructed by people
Today I overheard a conversation with someone trying to understand how to teach/communicate about the terms "weed" and "fruit." I shared that weed describes a behavior of a plant in relation to where it is growing and isn't a distinct category based on certain traits (other than growing quickly and easily and being undesired).
For fruit, it's complex because when most people say "fruit" they mean something that human can eat from a plant. But botanically, fruit means ovary. But sometimes, foods people consider firmly a fruit aren't even botanically fruit. And that isn't important-- as long as everyone involved knows what you're talking about.
I think part of what makes both of those terms difficult to explain and to communicate about is that we teach science classifications and nomenclature as if they're objective and not constructed ways to organize things. I think this is especially true with plants.
In science conversations, I think it is beneficial to emphasize that names exist so that people can talk about things with each other, and every name and classification is done with only people's most current understanding.
I wonder also how pedagogy and learning style affects people's understanding of what names and terms mean. It seems like the way nomenclature and classifications are taught may suggest they are facts. I'm not sure what the best way to communicate that idea would be though. It would need to not be lecture-based or rote memorization.
Honestly, an activity where you and a group of people have to look at like 12 items and sort them into 3 domains and 4 kingdoms based on listed traits for each item would be a really great example of how names are made. It's always just a bunch of people grouping stuff together and agreeing what makes sense to them. After, you could ask them a question that makes it clear how it's kind of silly to have someone memorize the categories instead of understand the logic for sorting which is def more important.

I know some people don’t like my stance on queer gender theory being “we need to figure our shit out and make one clear system that like.. functions” but I don’t think “it’s the cishets’ fault for not being educated, while we don’t need to a) help them or b) change anything about the way we communicate our experience to people who either don’t share it or don’t know enough about it to understand (whether they’re cishets or baby-queers)” is a much better one
