to those who wanna catch up here are the other posts i made related to it : one // two // three

I have to say this escalated quickly. lol. in the same trajectory as the ximalaya clownery in 2021. One day we were just speculating about his Moon photo and what if he has a new camera then everyday from there is just a new clue being dropped on us. Today, we got loads of b&w photos from him, in case it wasn’t clear enough what camera he is using. We get it Bobo, you’re showing off! The aesthetic too! ZZ will be very proud 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 some people are even saying that if you share that and say that it’s XZ, they will believe you.

He is truly in his photographer era. He’s always been someone who appreciated it but this is the first time he is truly committing. It’s cute how in the show he loved the camera bags because he’s been so into it lately.

now onto some sugar for us….

• How the shots are centered. Lol. Between the two of them, we know who is the one with OCD tendency in making sure stuff are centered. Most importantly the photos.

and how the composition is so spot on. I won’t give all the credit to ZZ on this one tho, Bobo always had an eye for taking scenery photos. maybe ZZ also gave some pointers. 💕

• Also their similar taste is really showing in these shots. Some of these are published via XZS, but who’s to say they don’t mix in stuff taken by ZZ?

for example, (p1) WYB takes a photo of a lion for leo and then with ZZ the scale for Libra. (p2) showing the moon like that. (p4) dramatic view of winding stairs and so on. you get the point. 🤍

• How the photos show that he’s been places where XZ went to in his last visit. Like him reporting where he went and sharing what he saw. Tho I have to admit this can be easily washed, cause these are tourists spots. It’s like shipping XZ with everyone who took a photo with the Eiffel tower as the background kind of thing.

• In his set for Chanel’s apartment, he took two that featured the cat plushies (?) B&W combo is classic for Chanel but it could also be WYB ( white because of his hair ) and GG is black. Plus, a cat??? Is this for your daughter??? 🌰🌰🌰🌰

That’s all for now. I’m sure there are other interpretation and things you can add but these are the ones that stood out to me personally. If something comes up that’s really sus, I will make a separate post.

#ie they both have black vulcanite and are silver #the lens for the Leica arrived yesterday and I’m so excited to try it #I think it will take a while to get used to the Leica and the lens because the rollei is very different in terms of how you set the aperture #and how you focus it #with the rollei you just have to guess how far away from something you are #whereas the Leica is a rangefinder #these are like. my prized possessions honestly #have already had a lot of joy and use from the rollei so I hope I have the same with the Leica

i think film photography is a great creative outlet (or source of inspiration) for overthinkers and perfectionists because it strips your ability to overcorrect since you cant see what you're doing until you get the film developed and you have a limited amount of photos you can take at one time. you just have to do it and hope for the best. i think it's a good mentality to have sometimes when doing creative work because it's so easy to get caught up in the small details that don't really matter to the bigger picture

#i guess if you have bank you can get those screenless leica cameras or that fujifilm with the hidden screen #ive spent a decade on some of my songs and im still not happy with them but like. i hope i can apply what ive learned with film

started playing darkwood and it opens with you opening a bag that contains an old soviet zenit 35mm camera and something about it being the exact model (different color way) of a camera i own immedietly made me weirdly unsettled. It was like oh this is my world i live here.

Its not a very common camera you see now. Like if i know my history correctly i think they were a pretty big brand in russia back in the 70s cause the things are sturdy and built like a tank. But they're not popular collectors objects now. So running into it was very surprising.

i found this leica for about $100 five years ago (crazy!!!) and i am only just getting around to testing it now (*/ω＼*) i plan on wasting a whole roll of film in the city today. . .can’t wait to see how they turn out!!

#shrimply not to shit on lando because i have no idea how much or little he cares about photography #and this is more of a comment about wealthy people in general #especially actors etc #every celebrity i've seen who buys a camera gets a leica #which is their right and leica is a shrimply amazing brand with a lot of historical significnace #but once they use their leica they get like praised for photography etc etc #like this is to brooklyn beckham and jacob elordi (sort of) like their photography is not stellar #and i'm NOT great at photography either but i get the impression that they buy a leica in hopes that the photography will automatically look #like its beautiful etc #and it is to a degree because of the quality of the lenses and the color etc #but it's also not well composed or unique in any way #anyway this is to say i would love to have a leica #but i'm fucking in love with my fuji #i did so much fucking research and was between it and a sony and i really care about the colors and fuji is just better #ANYWAY rant over #i promise i'm not shitting on lando he can do what he wants it just made me think of the whole celebrities and their cameras deal #maddie posts
