I’ve been wondering why these two hate each other so much. Like I get that radio was surpassed by TV as the medium of choice but it feels like there’s more going on than that.

Then I started looking at the character designs and costumes and noticed they look startlingly similar. Like copy-pasted similar minus the heads and colors.

Identical body composition, height, pinstripe suits, heels and cuffs, little shirt sticking out of the jacket, the works! They even have the same damn smile!! I couldn’t even circle the amount of similarities if I tried!

Plus in the season finale we got this snapshot of an old pic showing what used to be them standing next to each other.

My crack theory? Estranged twins who fell into hell and had a falling out.

Omg imagine it's researcher and filmmaker Rook with you as his assistant, and for each episode he quite literally transforms you into said creature (merfolk/beastfolk/fae/etc) just so the subject he's filming (Azul, Jade, Floyd, Leona, Ruggie, Jack, Malleus, Lilia, etc) will be more enticed to fuck you for ✨ 𝓈𝒸𝒾𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑒 ✨ you've tried to decline numerous times, but Rook always pays you so handsomely and he rescues you when certain creatures (ahem Azul ahem) try to keep you forever. I imagine Rook films you for the entirety of the pregnancy, so you're forced to spend the gestation period with said mer/beastman/fae until you give birth and can (hopefully) escape. But maybe there comes a time where you can't escape or Rook isn't able to rescue and protect you and so now you're trapped with the one who thinks of you as a treasured mate. >:)

By this I mean that our beloved cynic went in with just a cup of coffee in his system, proceeded to vomit on the floor after one and a half rounds due to exhaustion, and, finally, as the coup de grâce, as he’s trying to leave, avoiding onlookers asking if he’s okay, he accidentally gets pummeled with a stray punching bag, falls on the floor, and briefly passes out.
