Lift You Up by Mr. PoetAll
If I were the world
Would you be my Atlas
A titan not afraid to hold the barriers
Of boundaries
Between
Gritted teeth and silly giggles of
Deafening challenges
Like I wish you would try me
A little harder.
This dare is the truth
I plead not to plead the fifth
On you.
So if the world crumbles
Under your arms
I will always
Be there
To catch
The weight of burdens
That clouds cannot even hold.
For they to
Cry.
Raining pain that only space
Will fill.
Can we not
Talk about
The times
You shattered me.
Instead
Let us divulge upon
The areas of gray
Yet
Unfulfilled.
Just as the waters
Have not all been claimed
The gripping tips of my fingers
Will n'er refrain
From restraining
Myself
From saving
You.
Thank you so much.
Inspired by your last poem title that I read and fell in love with the thought of ETERNAL LOVE / ENDLESS LOVE.
You are and will always be a great poet and inspiration to me.
Thank you @scatteredthoughts2

being Such A Little Guy has downsides including not feeling included in the conversation. fortunately, there is a very easy way to fix this.
it is important you hold your Chilchuck at eye level every once in awhile.

Lauren Waller’s New Synthpop Single is Lighthearted and Catchy
Lauren Waller is the Los Angeles pop artist who takes the sounds of 80’s darkwave and marries it with modern electro-textured indie pop to create a uniquely Lauren style of contemporary synthpop. Her voice is strong and captivating, like a KT Tunsil or even an Ingrid Michaelson meets a Regina Spektor. Lyrically speaking, her music is almost confessional and invites an intimacy with her listeners you won’t get with any other artist.
She just released her new synthpop single “Lift You Up.” It’s an upbeat and infectious song with a melody, beat, and vocals that’s reminiscent of Taylor Swift. This song is the ultimate "feel good pop" song. She sings “I’m head over heels for you/cross my heart and hope to die/in your arms tonight/ I feel safe and alright/ I lift you up,” which gets stuck in your head immediately.
“‘Lift You Up’ was largely influenced by the '80s and the energetic, fun sound of that era shines through in the production,” shares Lauren. “It's about love that is fun, happy, and lighthearted. I hope that ‘Lift You Up’ sparks a familiar feeling in listeners, whether that be nostalgia for the past or the joy of a current love.
