talked w/ a friend about this and wanted to post something similar yesterday after a convo i saw also
about people criticizing ttcc / ttcc fans for just... being cog fans? being cog centric? usually coming from people who only like the toons.
and everyone likes what they like! it's okay! but saying that people who like the cogs are horrible and support the bad things they do, is just blatantly wrong. i thought we knew that enjoying villainous and morally Bad / grey characters is... okay? it doesn't mean you support what they do. it's interesting to explore these topics.
i've seen many people just... paint anyone who likes the cogs as horrible because they're "apologists of x and y" and... i dunno. rubs me the wrong way! you do have a point and recognize the cogs do bad things, but liking them as characters means nothing about who you are as a person.
and this is not to say that people who are in toontown for the toons are bad. hell! they are right this IS toontown. i may be on the cog liker side but i like the toons! maybe ocs more than the npcs - mostly because i like my friends and the sheer creativity the toons can bring out!!
SO what i wanna say... i dunno. let's not point fingers...? let's have fun in a goofy cartoon game together??? also complaining about people liking VILLAIN ROBOTS on TUMBLR is kind of funny to me. do you realize where you are. but then again a lot of this i see on discord and in-game as well since i avoid things on tumblr... i am a sensitive little fella i avoid misty fight bc of One Really mean "Critic" guy i saw there and i have been shivering in my bootsies since. so you get me
but like yes ttcc is more cog centric but... that's okay? things could be written better and i still wanna speak on it, and i do thing the toons deserve attention and better writing... but the fact it focuses on the cogs isn't... bad? if you don't like how con centric it is you can go play ttr...? god forbid people have fun and explore the villain's side of things...? i'm not saying either toontown server is better or worse than the other... and everyone can like their own things!!
but like... people will just like the cogs and that's okay and it doesn't make you bad. let's all be friends okay? both sides may be going at each other's necks in-game and the cogs in fact do horrible things - but it's what makes them fun, and it gives the toons things to do in the game!! but we don't gotta !!!!!!!! i may be really sarcastic and sometimes mean in private but like that's me just privately sassing, deep down i think people should just... y'know..? enjoy things.

#rolling with difficulty#vrla rwd#mrsn rwd#well not technically but close enough#asto stop drawing the same two goddamn characters challenge (difficulty: impossible)#technically the original line was 'i see mr-sn' but this way .. works better? flows better? its 4am words are failing me#also took some artistic liberties with the hypnagoug design bc i think austin's intention was that only its face changes#to match your nightmares#but everyone started describing stuff thats much more elaborate and he didnt stop them so#specifically he says the clawed arms and 'a large gaping mouth' stay constant but i am just gonna Choose Not To See that part#look theres no way for me to fit that into the design and make it work. its just not happening#i mean thank god for mr-sn's cape or else id have to figure out the logistics of attaching bony clawed arm to robot torso#(also why i strategically placed the rips on the cape so you cant see the arm underneath LMAO)#yeah after a certain point i was just like. ok how can i make the mr-sn hypnogoug as nasty and unpleasant to look at as possible#so please let me know if this made you upset/lh bc im the one who drew it and *i* was very upset when drawing this#in hindsight hypnagoug mr-sn has lowkey nightmare animatronic from fnaf energy and i've been fully over my fnaf phase for like 6 years so#not sure how to feel about that#art I made

I made some hard choices and I finished the Fires of Raven ending. I couldn’t let Arquebus have the Coral. Have Ayre. I didn’t see a choice. I had empowered Arquebus too much, in my mercenary greed, and my brand loyalty.
I had tears in my eyes as I brought down Arquebus. Fought Rusty with Cold Efficiency.
So I fought Ayre. To burn Rubicon so no one could have it.
I named my AC Snow Angel. So long ago. Right at the beginning of my career. Ayre, so clearly the Coral Angel. Two Angels locked in a battle with no victors at the Edge of the World.
My cannon fight is the one where we died and burned at the exact same time. (But the screen faded and brought up the fail screen…)
Rubicon burns. Humanity abandons her. And the Hope of Rubicon fades to nothing. And all anyone remembers is my name, in the Fires of Raven.
And then I wake. Right before my first mission as Raven. I don’t know why. Or how. Yet.
But what I do know. Piloting the Rubicon Angel, burning crimson with Coral Flames, I fight with cold fury of origin unknown
I will. Find the path to the future we both wanted.

i am so apathetic to popular male transformers characters, but i have a simple trick to make me care abt them: i turn them into robot women then i suddenly start seeing their appeal

Ok concept:
Blurr and Sideswipe watching a movie together and during the entire movie Side’s is fiddling with Blurr’s spoiler. Blurr falls asleep halfway through the movie and Sideswipe takes this opportunity to grab some fairy string lights and some other hanging trinkets from around the scrapyard and starts hangin them from Blurr’s spoiler (all the while Blurr’s passed tf out).
And then later the next day when Blurr goes back to his team he has NO IDEA about the lights and neat little pendants that are hanging from his spoiler until Salvage or Chase brings it up and asks why he has lights n stuff on his spoiler and Blurr’s just like ???? The fuck are you talking about?? What lights?? And he finally looks in a mirror and sees what Swipe did to his spoiler and he just immediately texts him like ??? I love you but wtf??? And Sideswipe’s dying laughing cus it took him that long to realize and then insists that he keeps it on cus he thinks it looks pretty on him <3
