Of course, to get Gabe's well meaning but increasingly annoying advice about going out more and meeting new people to stop, Leod headed out for the night. He heard an abandoned barn at the edge of town had been repurposed into a nightclub and figured that could be good place to pretend to socialize aka just sit at the bar, drink for a bit and then go home and tell Gabe he did the exact opposite the next morning.
Be honest: would you go home with this man?
Feeling buzzed, Leod headed up to the upper floor where met one Sharon Wirth. With the bit of liquid courage he had beforehand, it was no time at all before things started getting heated....
....which led to woohooing.
A lot of woohooing.
It got to the point where I just left them to do their own thing and went to go watch what the other sims on the lot were doing lol.
Suffice to say, Leod didn't get home until 7:30 AM the next morning. Not quite sure this is what Gabe meant when he said to go out and meet some new people but Leod's counting it anyways.

VeronaHills, Round Five: McGreggor
The leaves were beginning to rust as Leod McGreggor's barn doors cracked open.
Jonah hung up the string lights and bunched fresh flowers into vases for the final touches, and with that, the McGreggor Market was officially open for business. Leod had long lamented that he could turn more profit from his crops if the Town Centre Grocery middleman was cut out. With Jonah's help, the old barn became a tastefully rustic store spacer. A more profitable period was (theoretically) on the horizon.
Unfortunately for Jonah, his physical prowess didn't translate to operating the till efficiently. One of their first customers was sharp in every sense of the word - faced, dressed, and toned. Jonah doubted she had even touched a cash register in her life, but she scrunched up her face at him regardless, incredulous that he would even dare to be new at the counter... and nearly furious that he wasn't good with numbers!
"Hey Jonah, I'm proud of you," Leod said. "That wasn't just any lass. That was Cordelia Capp. Runs a vineyard on the edge of town, a fancy one. I'm sorry she was hard on you, but try to think of the others who thought we did alright today... alright?"
With these warm and gentle words, Jonah realised the gruff farmer vibe was just one part of Leod. He was also a great mate.

It's spring at McGreggor's farm, too. Georgia throws a party, but with Xander and Tina at college and Ginger and Isaiah grown up, there's a teen shortage, so she pads the numbers with relatives and juvenile friends. It's a great success, despite burning the chicken. Sharla and Gallagher tactfully removed themselves, though heaven knows what they found interesting to do in their room. (No double beds in the barn, alas.)
Now that it's spring they've enclosed part of the porch for a nursery, which should relieve some of the congestion. They're also planning to add a second floor on top of it, but that involves taking off the porch roof and is a bit tricky.
Oh, and I finally got a shot of Shep, the dog who enabled Gabriella to get a dog and LaShawn Roseland to bring home a cat.
