Sims 2 Townie Data

After watching @anibats ' latest video on her setting up her Downtown by matching up townies by genes, it had me very curious about the genes of townies from other hoods. So I decided to spend a couple hours collecting data and made an Excel sheet with Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville, and Bluewater Village townies. It's just the basic stuff really, first and last name, age, main aspiration, hair, eye and skin color. In the end I found the data I collected very interesting (to me at least)

So here the link to the Excel spreadsheet if you want it so you can see the data yourself in it's entirety or want an easier way of pairing certain townies up into families. I'll consider about possibly doing the EP hoods later.

Bluewater Village 2024

I'm not going to be documenting every detail this time, but I am back in Bluewater! (I finally found a work/life balance that lets me play sims every once in a while!) I've played four rounds now, so maybe 15-20 years? Let's call it 20 because it's a nicer number.

I'm still playing with the basic rules I had all those years ago (2016!) but I focused more on gameplay than on storytelling and I've changed some of the challenges. I'll share more about each family and their challenges in individual posts. (Otherwise this one would get way too big!)

A quick introduction to all of the public lots in Bluewater Village. This is the lots that can't be owned by a sim.

There's currently 3 public community lots in Bluewater Village:

Bluewater Retirement Home Right in the middle of Bluewater Village, you'll find a big, but cozy, retirement home for those elder sims who seek a close-knit community.

Hunter's Park It's.... a park. lol.

1-2-3+ Gym A free to use gym for any sim who wants to. The gym features basic training equipment and a sauna. There's even talk about expanding with an indoor pool at some point!
