you and felix have been dating for awhile now and even moved in with each other. but lately, the two of you haven't been spending as much time with each other because of his hectic schedule and your crazy class schedule.

nonetheless, after every night class you came back to your shared apartment and made dinner for the two of you as you waited for your boyfriend to come back home. then the two of you would cuddle while a watching a movie for the rest of the night.

today, your classes were tiring as hell and you really didn't feel like making anything fancy so you settled for a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich which for sure would not fill you up at all but you couldn't care less at the moment.

you connected to a speaker and started playing some music that would keep you awake and entertained for time being. you started to sing softly to yourself to one of the songs playing which reminded you of the first time you met felix.

you worked at a cafe about a year ago before you quit so you could focus on your studies. it was a quiet night and no one was in the shop about an hour before you were closing. so you started to clean up a little earlier just to pass the time.

you changed the usual cafe playlist to your own since you were by yourself. "face to face" by ruel was playing and before you knew it you were singing along while wiping down a counter.

"i'm in my bed sitting, talking to screens all day but I can't seem to say what's on my brain but I wonder, I wonder."

you were far into your own world that you didn't even notice that a customer had walked in.

that customer turned out to be your future boyfriend, lee felix.

the boy was fascinated by your voice and didn't dare to interrupt your singing since he was basically getting a free concert.

once the song had ended the boy had finally spoken up, "you have an amazing voice."

you screamed and dropped your the rag that you were holding.

"oh my god, i am so sorry." the customer apologized after he scared the fuck out of you.

you bent down to pick up the rag and shot up quickly, "no, no it's not your fault. i wasn't paying attention at all. anyways, what would you like to-"

the two of you made eye contact and you swear your heart was racing once again. the customer that just accidentally scared you was very cute and the most precious freckles sprinkled across his face. now you were a blushing mess since, he caught you at one of your worst moments.

you coughed as a way to break out the trance, "sorry, what would you like to um order?"

you kicked yourself mentally for turning out to be an even more stuttering mess.

"just a large hot chocolate please." he answered shyly for ordering such a kiddie drink.

"of course, your total will be 3.45."

the boy paid and you went to work on his drink and even doubled the batch so you could have one as well. while you were waiting for the milk to warm up you turned back to the boy he was waiting patiently near the pick up counter.

"uh, how long were you waiting for me?" you asked the boy. you had already embarrassed yourself a lot so there was no way this interaction could go worse.

"not that long, i didn't want to interrupt your singing." he answered as he looked up from his phone. "you really do have an amazing voice. do you have any social media where you post singing videos or something?"

your blush returned once again, you were surprised someone was so interested in your singing. although, you never brought attention it except for the few people who had subscribed to your cover channel on youtube. you posted there every once in awhile just as a way to keep your creative side flowing while you worked and went to school. "thank you and i do actually."

you poured the hot milk into two cups and began mixing the coca powder in.

"really what is it?" he asked, his face brightening up.

"um, *whatever you want*." you answered shyly as you placed lids on the hot cocos. "here's your drink."

he thanked you and as you were giving him his drink you hands accidentally touched and you swear for a second time that night you felt sparks going off.

now, here you are making a pb&j sandwich in the house that you guys shared. the memory making you smile to yourself.

you were singing "close to you" by lacia and falling deep into your own world as you spread peanut butter on your toast.

you didn't even hear the door unlock.

felix had come home a photoshoot and was tired since he had to wake up extremely early this morning to go to the filming location. coming home to you singing was probably his favorite thing in the whole wide world. your voice was one of the reasons why he had fallen in love with you.

he quietly wrapped his arms around you while you were multitasking.

"i love your voice." he whispered into your ear, sending shivers down your back.

you stopped what you were doing and turned around to give felix a quick peck. you were wrapped in his arms and you studied his face.

"did you have another photoshoot today?" you asked, you noticed that he was wearing makeup and that foundation was covering his beautiful freckles.

"yeah, it took forever trying to get there." he ranted to you.

he saw you frowning and became worried, "what's wrong, love?"

"i don't like how they cover your freckles." you pouted. you licked your thumb and started smudging the makeup off his face.

"me too." he mumbled quietly.

"there that's more like it." you smiled brightly as you could see his cute freckles again.

felix blushed at how bright your smile was and pulled you in for a kiss.
