24 Poll Hour Challenge Results!
Tumblr media
You came, you voted, and now, the sentences for each fic! The results definitely surprised me, but hopefully this lives up to the hype! (I def just started writing and didn't count sooooo your votes counted!)
Here we go, in order from lowest to highest vote count!
Spoilers beneath the cut
Bad Blood
“Ah fuck, you two are banging again, aren’t you?”
Inuyasha was about to kill his only other friend in the world. He needed to remind himself how stupid his friend was–and–
“Oof,” Miroku groaned, as he smacked himself into Kagome’s barrier. Ha. Inuyasha almost hoped Miroku broke his nose. “Whyyyyy—”
“Because you annoy me,” Kagome said, sipping her tea as she read the paper on Inuyasha’s bed in his long tee-shirt.
Devil Devil
(Disclaimer: This is like 3 chapters ahead from my last post--sorry--I'll try to beta and read this week)
Brushing my teeth with the extra toiletries the hotel provided helped with the lingering headache and stomachache. We had gotten at least twelve hours of sleep from when we checked into the hotel room and laid down, minus the quick spat from my friend who was still convinced I had a death wish. The sleep had definitely helped my body and hopefully some food would be the final nail in the chiffon to whatever else seemed to be aching.
"You sure about this?" Inuyasha asked from the door as I spit the toothpaste into the sink and rinsed my mouth out with water.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I turned towards him, wiping my mouth off the bubbly white lining.
"You goin' with. I can handle the two that are after your other friends."
"While I'm sure you can, I want to be there and while I know you're nervous since I'm kinda beat up, we both know you're better with me nearer than away." Inuyasha didn’t deny nor confirm my haughty statement, which meant I was right.
“I don’t like it.”
“You don’t have to.”
“I hate all of this if anyone is asking for my opinion,” Shippo added.
“No one did,” Inuyasha growled.
I sighed. My head hurt. They were riding my last nerve. And I really just wanted a nap.
Head Above Water
The wedding went off without a hitch. Kikyo almost seemed happy to marry the stoic bastard, and Sesshomaru almost seemed relieved he was taking the figurative arrow in the chest. But ultimately, it didn’t matter; what did matter was how beautiful Kagome looked in his eyes… Sango had really done her job. She was wearing an aquamarine dress, one that made her eyes sparkle, and make-up that didn't hide her natural beauty, nor made her look like she belonged totally.
Kagome was born to stand out– she was a fucking mermaid!
After the wedding, his father and mother blocked him from making any advances like he wanted to and Kagome was whisked away. While it pissed Inuyasha off to no end, he imagined it was to protect her from Kikyo’s family wrath.
Kikyo and Sesshomaru immediately went to forge the bond (something the humans were uncomfortable with knowing) but moved the great hall for the food and to await to marking celebration. Inuyasha, however, had other ideas.
Dog Demon War
Kagome found it odd being home. She wanted so badly to try and use the well–try to desperately get back to her Inuyasha–her friends–her family–
But there was a tremendous fear of even trying to time travel after that experience.
Her friends have been killed.
Her friends died before her very eyes.
She had died.
Their child had been killed within her womb.
Her hands trembled as she brought them to cover her face, trying to block out all the memories of the alternate timeline, trying to escape into the peacefulness of the wind blowing gently as she sat on the stone bench beneath the sacred tree. The smell of green tea enter her nose and startled her, making her whip her head up and see the violet eyes of her future daughter.
“Here you go, Mama,” Izayoi said sweetly, handing her the cup before sitting down next to her.
The gentle draping of a blanket over her shoulders made her almost jump until Izayoi rested her hand on her shoulder. Two golden orbs appeared in front of her, blinking, making her giggle from the curiosity.
“Moroha, hi,” Kagome greeted.
Shelter
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
How was Naraku alive? How was he in their hut? How was that damn puppet surrounding them with his vines?
His evil laugh was menacing and shook him through his human body. Inuyasha had only one thing on his mind, even though his mind screamed to run and get away: protect Kagome.
Love Again
“So aside from animal cruelty, why don’t you eat meat?” Inuyasha asked as he bit into his hamburger.
“Personal choice, I guess. I never loved it–not really. Then I guess when I was out on my own I just made the decision to cut it out. If I was cooking for me or ordering for me, why did I have to have something I didn’t need or really want?”
“So, you can make decisions then.”
“Look here,” Kagome scoffed, narrowing her eyes to see the smirk in Inuyasha’s, glowing and making her heart do backflips and nearly come up her throat.
It sucked that she was…stuck. In her current predicament. Her shoulder hurt. She was constantly on too strong pain-killers. But she was pretty sure one good rub of the fabric between her legs would make her orgasm. Kagome wanted Inuyasha.
It had been a long time. A long time. She hadn’t lied or exaggerated about that. But she was just tired of dating–tired of screwing random people–an itch was better satisfied using a vibrator or her fingers than a stranger who clearly had no idea how to use his fingers.
But Inuyasha was too–protective. Genuine. Kind. Kagome was still pretty certain he was in denial and wanted to wait for things to evolve more after her shoulder was healed. But that didn’t kill her lady-boner.
Holding out for a Hero
They didn’t emerge from their room for a couple of days. Sango had taken to making sure they were getting meals, knocking the door and calling to them before disappearing. Kagome could only surmise that it was instinct pulling to bond over and over. She blushed, thinking it didn’t help how amazing it felt for him to make her release over and over, as well. She heard a chuckle, the slight exhale causing her ear to flicker (something she was still getting used to day in and day out), and turned her head to see him smiling down at her. He kissed her shoulder and heart fluttered in response.
They were married.
They were officially bonded.
“We probably need to show our faces, lord husband,” she purred (literally) and blushed at the sound coming from her chest. Again, she still wasn’t quite used to the changes within and around her body.
Inuyasha chuckled again and nuzzled his face against her back, “They woulda came knockin’ if things were fallin’ apart.”
“Inuyasha—”
“This is our room. This is our space. What if it’s different out there?”
His vulnerability surprised her. Turning in his arms so that she was cradled by him instead of being spooned, she brought her hands to his face and carefully traced his cheekbones in comfort before going straight to his ears. “Nothing is different here than out there. I am wedded to you–body and soul. Let us show them–show everyone how I have dedicated myself to you. Also, I think we need to let others know that we will not be taking over this region, do you not agree?”

(disclaimer--again, like 3 chapters ahead from my last post--another one I'm slowly getting through)
Kagome sighed and pouted a bit and he realized he was being a jackass. “Sorry, ‘Gome. I—I guess I just feel bad that you’re stuck there and you’re stressed out. It wasn’t supposed to be like this when you came. I–I let you down.”
“How did you do that?? You didn’t create the pandemic or this virus. This is just a tough spot,” Kagome tried to soothe. “I’m just being a baby and sensitive.”
“Keh. You have every right to be when you’re there with Emily.”
“Inuyasha, be nice. You know that she isn’t my main stressor. It’s been alright–just you know–a little weird since you’ve been gone for so long.”
“She still being fair?” Inuyasha asked, ears perked up and ready to jump through the screen if he had to in order to protect Kagome. Emily wasn’t mean or ill-spirited but he also wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from her either with him gone.
“Of course. She is still very grateful for the room and board.”
“Any word on her moving out?”
“No. None. But uh–about that–”
“What,” Inuyasha growled in annoyance.
Kagome scoffed and rolled her eyes. “I haven’t really pushed the idea on her just with everything going on.”
“Amazon packages still arriving?” Inuyasha questioned flatly and Kagome pursed her lips and nodded in response along with naming a couple of other different ones that had made their way to their doormat. “Yeah, she does that.”
“I just, uhm–I don’t know if it’s my place to say anything about it?”
“I guess if we want her out–”
“It’s fine for now!” Kagome cut him off, frantically, a forced smile on her face and turned away from the monitor. “Hey Em! Dinner??”
Kagome, still protecting people who didn’t deserve it. Typical. At least she was acting like her normal self. “Whatever. We don’t gotta talk about that. But go ahead and get food, I need to get myself something too.”
“Oh! By the way, did Miroku text you?” Kagome asked, turning back to him.
Inuyasha raised his eyebrow and looked down at his phone and realied that yes, the idiot had messaged him and he’d just ignored it. Talking to Kagome and playing Candy Crush just happened to be more important. He opened the text and it said ‘Game night?’ “I guess he means a virtual game night?”
“Yeah, Sango got an app for school to help everyone relax a little bit to get up and stretch so she has tons of online games we can play together.”
“Sure, why not. Not like you can throw the coffee-table when you get mad for losing and this time, you can’t accuse no one of cheatin;.”
“Don’t act like you know me,” Kagome said, sticking her tongue out. That’s the Kagome he knew.

Swimming in Jade
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes that I received when I went out for surgery and then had to focus on recovery and Inuspiration! :) I’m back in action and ready to get 2023 started with a bang! I was partnered with the amazing @otaku-108!
She was incredible to work with and hammer out the ideas for this fic! I’ll be posting weekly updates and hopefully might be able to post some additional stuff during the week that’s been building up while I was out.
Happy 2023!

Summary:
“Whoa Entei,” I said, calming my flaming horse so he would slow as I hopped off, brushing his face gently in praise as I bent down to sift through some of the barren wasteland at our feet for what I thought I smelled were berries.
It was always hard to find food–like food food in the wild that wasn’t poisoned by other, greedy people only looking out for themselves, or that was just dead.
There’d been nothing for miles as we road over the plains–fields–whatever the fuck they used to be before everything went to shit.
Bet you’re wondering how the world ended, huh?
Bet you’re wondering exactly what it was–plague, famine, war, technology??
Nah.
None of that.
Trust.
That’s right.
Trust was what killed the world.
~~~~
Or, Inuyasha ended up on a mission to save the world by finding the hidden miko Kagome that had saved the world hundreds of years ago before disappearing. Once he finds her asleep in a well, he's in for a very big surprise to find out that the stories that were told weren't exactly entirely truthful. Now, he has to learn how to work together with someone he doesn't know, as well as learn to trust someone again.
InuKag Week 2022--Day 5: Parenting/ Moroha
Tumblr media
Day 5!!! We are just going here on @inukag-week
Rated T for language
READ HERE ON AO3
Tumblr media
Moroha splashed the water around her, giggling and screaming in an almost deafening screech of joy from her fun in the hot spring. How it didn’t bother her sensitive dog ears, Inuyasha had no idea.
“Do you like that Moroha?” Kagome laughed, holding their six month old baby under her arms to keep her shoulders up above the water, while she was turning her face away to try and shield herself from the flying water their daughter was flinging everywhere.
“Dadadadadadada!!” Moroha babbled, leaning forward away from Kagome as if she was about to just jump out of her mother’s hold, straight into the steaming water.
“No, it’s ‘Mama,’” Inuyasha tried to correct, offering his fingers for Moroha to take, which she did with a loud piercing squeal of excitement, trying to pull herself closer to him, away from Kagome.
“Dadadadadada!!!” Moroha said again in full giggles.
“It’s easier for her to say ‘Dada’ first,” Kagome explained, her face soft, loving, and beautiful. The way she looked at their daughter–the way she looked at him with her sparkling gray eyes made his heart race.
Never before Kagome had entered his life, had he thought he would not only be accepted, but that acceptance included a family. Friends. A home. A village that actually enjoyed him being around–a village that actually blessed his marriage to a miko, and then brought gifts to celebrate the birth of their daughter.
It was a strange feeling–a strange life in comparison to what he had been living…
A dream really.
Sometimes he wondered if he had ever woken up from when Kikyo shot him.
Or if he died on Kagome’s lap the first night he shared his secret with her.
Or if he died from heartbreak from their separation.
But then moments like these, moments alone with his wife–Inuyasha knew he could imagine shit, but damn. Even on their worst days, he could never have imagined being as happy as he was with Kagome and their beautiful shihanyou baby girl.
“You sure she don’t just like me better?” Inuyasha teased, taking Moroha from her, his initial smirk on his face spreading into a face splitting grin as their daughter cooed and kept up her jabbering as if she was telling him all about her long day of sleeping, eating, napping, and then eating some more.
“Mmmm, could be that too,” Kagome hummed, completely unaffected by his teasing as she moved to lean her head against his shoulder.
“I was just kiddin’, Kagome,” Inuyasha said gently, trying to comfort her even though he noticed she wasn’t phased in the slightest, but bringing their baby girl against his chest, splaying her hand against her belly to hold her up as she continued to play, he brought his other arm around his wife to have her in his embrace as well.
“Oh, I know,” Kagome replied, lifting her head so he could see the mischief in her eyes. “Unless your breasts make milk, I’m pretty sure we know exactly who her favorite person is at meal time.”
Inuyasha rolled his eyes, but leaned down to kiss his mate sweetly, earning him a very approving hum. “I’ll let you keep that skill.”
“Figures,” Kagome huffed, a smile still etched on her face as she turned her attention back to Moroha. “Should we wash your hair, baby?”
“Dadadadadada!!!” Moroha squealed happily, making Kagome laugh at her antics as she began to rinse her hair with water, cupping her hands to draw water into them and then dropping it over Moroha’s head. Their baby girl yipped and howled in laughter, shaking her hair and her fluffy ears to get some of the water off, and then began to pull to get into her mother’s hold again.
“Well, hold on now!” Inuyasha warned, trying to keep her still so Kagome could wash her up with the soaps and oils she’d made. “After she’s done, kiddo! Hold still,” Inuyasha pleaded as she chuckled from their wild child's struggles to claw her way back to Kagome. His wife wasn’t phased in the least, and kept washing her as if she could predict exactly where their daughter would flail her arms next.
After returning to the past, Kagome had really taken to studying with Kaede and Sango more about this world and finding her place within it,
Although, Inuyasha made it clear her place was by his side, just like his was by her.
It didn’t take them long to be married, but they’d waited a while before talking about kids. Inuyasha felt a little selfish, just wanting Kagome all to himself, soaking in her presence again after she had been ripped away from him for years… But his wonderful wife and mate wanted to wait, as well.
Even after they did decide to try, Inuyasha found he was a little nervous about being a father–he was such a dick to Shippo, it was Kagome’s natural mothering skills that made up for his shittiness. Shippo didn’t really hold it against him as he had just joined a make-shift-forced-family when everyone was suffering with the hands they had been dealt.
Kagome had reassured him every step of the way, comforting him about Shippo and making him realize he did well and that Shippo loved them as a son would his parents. And when they finally succeeded in trying, a baby finally growing in her body, Kagome talked him through her pregnancy, even when he was a nervous goddamn wreck. Shippo was also oddly very supportive, excited for the new pup to spoil and pass down some of his he’d gotten from Kagome, and someone to play with who hopefully wouldn’t pull on his tail.
The birth of their daughter was probably the worst out of everything; typically men weren’t present during that time, but he demanded to be, and thankfully, his wife was alright and more than happy with his presence, pleading him to be there for her even with Kaede’s disagreements. There was just so much blood, and Kagome had been so strong, but he could smell her pain and she was just so weak after.
But the happiness that radiated from his wife, and the wonder that filled him, the love that was instantaneous the moment his infant daughter was placed in his arms–the perfect blend of him and his wife–black hair like her mother, black dog ears, amber eyes like him, and then youki and reiki from the both of them. Her name came so naturally–Moroha. Double-edged.
Inuyasha had vowed he would be there every step of the way for Kagome and Moroha: in the middle of the night when she cried and needed comfort, in the day when Kagome needed a moment to herself, during the evening so Kagome could cook dinner if she wanted a break, or even just emotional and physical support when she breast-fed their daughter, letting her lean back on him as he held them close and savored the moment as a family.
“Come here, Moroha,” Kagome cooed, holding her hands out for their freshly cleaned and lathered baby. Inuyasha let her go once Kagome had their girl in her grasp and Moroha giggled, making Kagome laugh as well, her gray eyes sparkling with joy looking at their baby girl. “You love baths, don’t you?”
“Just like her mother,” Inuyasha chuckled, sinking down into the water a little further, keeping his arm draped around his girls, bringing them closer to him.
“I think you like baths more now that we bathe together.”
“Fuck yeah I do, I get to see my mate naked and dripping wet with water,” Inuyasha joked and half-expected a slap from Kagome but she merely sighed happily and rubbed her head against his chest as Moroha continued to splash in the water.
“I have to admit, visiting hot springs after we got married definitely got better. I actually already thought that was the best treat the Feudal era had to offer, but you proved me wrong, husband.” Her words lingered and he wanted to steal another taste of her lips, but Moroha’s incessant babbling made her turn her head downward to see what their daughter was trying to say and sighed, realizing it was dinner time and that it was time to go. “One day you’ll let us enjoy this a little longer–you’ll appreciate the water for allllllll that it is, right, Moroha?”
“Come on, let’s get you girls home,” Inuyasha said, lifting them from the water and then taking Moroha so Kagome could dress. Once she was clothed, she took Moroha and dressed her as Inuyasha threw on his hakama and kosode, leaving his haori off and draping it over his wife to cover her and their daughter, shielding them from the chill the evening brought. The hanyou lifted his family in his arms and carried them home, walking in a slower pace initially, letting Kagome feed their baby girl. Moroha finished her hunger off quickly, and then began to murmur tiredly. Inuyasha moved quicker, so he and Kagome could lay their daughter down and snuggle her to sleep and let sleep take them as well, so when Moroha woke in the middle of the night, Inuyasha could take the first watch and feed her with the soft foods she was starting to try, and then Kagome could take the second and let her feed from her breast.
Parenting was hard, tiring, but shit, it was the best fucking adventure Inuyasha had ever taken, and it was even fucking better with Kagome by his side, supporting him and their baby girl every step and misstep along the way.
Laying beside Inuyasha, Kagome could see how he glowed, illuminated by the stars and the moon that shone light through the window of their home. They’d just made love for the upteenth time. Originally, Kagome wanted to keep count of every time he loved her, but through all the pleasure and the countless times they filled each other night and day after they were wed, it became nearly impossible to remember.
There weren’t real ‘honeymoons’ in the Feudal era, but Kagome certainly felt like she had one and it was likely because her hanyou threatened to behead anyone who got too close too soon. Not that she was complaining–well, not at first. Initially, she chided him on manners and also wanted him to respect how things should work in the village.
But then he touched her. Again, again, and again.
No, she didn’t complain after that; Inuyasha kept her fed and loved and pleasured so much so, she’d nearly forgotten the time and day.
They barely even wore clothes, outside of the robe of the fire rat she would drape over her tiny body when she cooked the meals Inuyasha provided, so she didn’t get burned. The view she had at meal times as she ate some of the rabbit pieces she had roasted over the fire that he had caught was… delectable. And mesmerizing. So much so, it had taken them back to their futon again. And again.
Everything was on repeat.
And it was Kagome’s favorite song.
Replaying over and over again.
Gazing over at said husband, Kagome felt her face soften more, and her lips tilted up. She was jealous of him, really. After every battle, every fight, every hit, slash, bite, stabbing–Inuyasha remained scarless. His body was perfect, alluring, and beautiful. A faint blush covered her cheeks (and she was unsure how considering they had spent the last week naked) as she reached over and caressed her hand down his shoulders to his back and then back up again, revealing in his warmth, his softness, and how electrifying the feel of him–of how he felt beneath the palm of her hand.
How was it he drew out such desires from her?
“Enjoyin’ yourself?” Inuyasha mumbled in a low sultry tone. His words made her blush even brighter as she hadn’t realized he was awake. His glowing amber eyes were watching her, a gleam of the predator he was teasing her as his head resting on top of his crossed arms.
“Inuyasha!” she gasped.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to startle ya,” he smirked, one of his fangs peeking out of his stupid perfect lips that she wanted to brush against her neck, trailing hot kisses down her body to other sensual plains.
“Did you sleep at all?” Kagome asked, ignoring his teasing taunt.
“Yeah–I rested a bit. Did you?”
“N-No, not yet,” Kagome admitted shyly. Again, she was so stupid and confused and–and–
“What ya thinkin’ about?” Inuyasha questioned, rolling over onto his side to prompt himself up on his elbow, giving her a view of a certain piece of anatomy that was already standing tall, begging to be licked and touched.
“Nothing really,” Kagome said, only to have him reach through the scant distance between them and stroke her face gently.
“Something enough to keep ya from sleepin’.”
“Just how–” Kagome swallowed, biting her lip, trying to control her racing heart of excitement and love from his warm and soothing touch. “Just thinking about how beautiful you are.”
“Keh, you’re one to talk.” He smiled, a genuine, peaceful, and actually happy smile as he slowly began pulling her face closer as he leaned in to taste her, making her hum in approval as she moved her lips in tandem with his. Inuyasha pulled away, even though she wanted to continue their tranquil flow of kisses, and looked at her in seriousness but also sincerity. “Really, what were you thinkin’ about?”
“I wasn’t lying, Inuyasha,” Kagome countered, huffing even though she couldn’t contain her grin.
“Why you worryin’ about how I look then?”
Kagome’s eyes widened and her lip returned beneath her teeth as she didn’t want to reveal she was–well, a little self-conscious with her own looks in comparison. Her hair was curly and unruly most times (especially in the hot humid summer!). She had curves, she wasn’t just straight muscle, and her body was riddled in scars–some from their adventures, some from Buyo when he’d get mad at her, and even some from just falling on the ground. “Uh–I’m not–I was just–admiring–”
“Now you’re lyin’,” Inuyasha chuckled lightly, his mouth against the back of her ears, making her tremble in delight of the teasing breath that washed over her. “What’s wrong?”
“Well, I’m just not as–you know–and you’re like–you know,” Kagome finished lamely.
“I dunno, actually since that was gibberish.”
Kagome sighed as she leaned into his ministrations and nearly just let it go when suddenly the words just–flowed out, “Your body is just so–flawless. And mine–well mine–there’s just blemishes and scars and marks and I’m not–you know.”
“Ya realize I’m just a hanyou, right? It doesn’t matter to anyone how I look outside my demonic features. Everyone knows you’re the one who settled for a half-demon, not the other way around,” Inuyasha said, the disdain in his voice thick, making her mentally recoil, but outwardly shift her body to push him down into the futon beneath him and straddle him.
His imperfections laid beneath the surface–in his mind. After years of berating, torture, and abuse, Inuyasha may not have had physical scars, but he had emotional ones. They were deeper and more noticeable, even though they couldn’t actually be seen. His attitude. His posture. His distance he maintained. Inuyasha had been hurt far worse by everyone than when Sesshomaru stabbed him through the gut.
Kagome took her hands, rubbing them against his pecs to his shoulders, down his strong, muscular arms to his hands and down to the tips of his claws, pricking her fingers with them. Picking up his hands, holding them tightly in hers, she brought them to her hips and rested them there, then shifted to feel his claws graze against her back, making her heart skip a beat, and her breath hitch. “A hanyou, who can make me feel alive in one touch?”
Gauging his reaction, she dropped her hands to his cheeks, pressing her thumbs where she knew his stripes would be when turned into a full demon and then wiped them beneath his radiant citrine eyes, and then moved back into his thick silver locks, letting the tendrils fall and weave between her fingers before she went for her favorite feature–his ears that she began rubbing sweetly. “A hanyou who can see and hear danger within a moment's notice?”
Kagome leaned down and let her nose nuzzle against his, and then kissed him deeply, stroking her tongue against his sharp fangs and savoring the rumble in his chest that vibrated beneath her. Pulling away, he whined, and looked defeated beneath her–weak for her–but it didn’t help that she was circling her hips against him–letting his length tickle her most intimate places. “A hanyou who can smell me within a mile? A hanyou who makes me cry out for no other with just a flick of his fangs?”
“Ka-Kagome–”
“I know I’m just as guilty but…insecurities don’t have a place here, within our home; these four walls were built to keep the world out, and let us be together, in peace. The only opinions that matter–the only feelings about us that matter–are our own.”
“Then you need to realize,” Inuyasha began, his breath unsteady, his hips restless beneath her, and his hands far from idle as they began moving around her body, “these marks only tell me stories of you, of us, and even our future.”
“Mmmm,” Kagome hummed as he brushed one hand against one of her knees up her thigh as he kneaded it.
“This tells me how klutzy you were as a kid.”
“Inuyasha,” Kagome sighed as his other hand brushed against her side where the scar from where the jewel was ripped from her body.
“This one reminds me of the day you came crashing into my life–waking me, saving me, and then ultimately, reminding me again and again how I’m not a complete waste of space.”
She huffed, although it wasn’t as strong as she wanted to show her distaste for how he was speaking about himself because the feel of his calloused hands against her skin made her keen and nearly mewl in delight. His thumb brushed over her stomach, making her jump as his claws trailed up to her breast and flick her nipple, “Inu–”
“Your body is perfect,” Inuyasha breathed as he sat up, quickly snatching her hips in his strong grip to steady her. “Your stomach will have marks from after having our pups, marks I will love every night and remind you how beautiful and amazing you are for even offering to carry my children.” His hands moved up her back and across her shoulders, lingering momentarily on the marks he left in Kaguya’s castle, and then sweeping down her arms, tracing the other scars from Kohaku’s scythe, and where Inuyasha had pushed her away when he lost control within Naraku’s body. “I’m reminded of these of even when I was stupid, uncontrollable, wrapped up in my own bullshit; you stayed with me and fought for me…”
“Don’t–”
“I’ve always been stupid, Kagome. And the fact you’re with me, helps ease the uncertainty I will always feel…”
“My body tells you a story,” Kagome explained peppering kisses on every inch of his face, “and your actions and your words will tell me yours.”
“What are they tellin’ you now?” Inuyasha whispered as his fangs brushed against her neck.
“How much you love me, and how you accept my love–”
“And how much I don’t give a fuck about anyone else when my wife deserves a full moon made of honey,” Inuyasha smirked kissing her fiercely, making her giggle from his missed phrasing but morphing into deep and pleading moans for more.
Haven't been doing very well health wise so, sorry this post isn't as sparkly as usual. I got this idea from @shinidamachu of inukag having to tell moroha about how they met and their adventures. I decided to gift it to the wonderful @thornedraven for her birthday 🎂
Thanks to @fawn-eyed-girl and @hnn-wnchstr for reading!
