What made you choose this url and whats the story behind it?

I don't know If you know this, but my og tumblr url was different. But I took a looong hiatus from social media and only came back thanks to my newfound love for writing so I adopted the username from AO3 as my new url on here too.

The actual meaning behind it is quite simple, Lavandula was the pseudonym of my friend I've beta-read for between 2013 and 2016 (I think those can still be found on aff lol). We sadly lost touch in recent years but her passion for writing left an impact on me and I decided to honour that by taking up the flower she chose. Cosmos, in turn, is my actual birth flower, so I made the name mine by combining the two - plus it can also mean the universe which is also a fun interpretation. This is the story behind my url.

I have to say this is super hard because I love so many fics. My number one is easy:

"Who in the Sunshine" by @nharidy – I feel like I've found so many words for it already I just?? My beloved ♥️

Then Cry Wolf by @roccinan – It gave me everything I ever wanted from Andrés getting hurt and also him getting comforted by Martín, just 🥰

And Yours Truly (they posted it on anon so I won't link their tumblr although I know everything 👀) – It was my Secret Santa gift and fulfilled all my Andrés getting railed dreams, thank you again <3

20. What’s your favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

I love when I'm editing and sudenly, I notice that transitions that haven't been smooth in the last 3 versions are turning smooth, and I finally manage to write that one introspection or conversation that seemed entirely impossible, and I realise it's not just all these loose points anymore, but really becoming a whole story. That's magical to me, I'll always be amazed that it's possible at all.

25. Do you listen to music as you write? If possible, link your writing playlist.

Sometimes I do! I don't have a writing playlist, I either listen to a song that matches the mood of the fic on repeat, or an album I currently vibe with (and that matches the mood of the fic), or just random different songs I feel like.

34. How much of yourself and your life experiences do you put into your writing? What do you think your readers’ image of you is?

This is a layered question I think. So of course I put all of myself into my writing, in a way, because it comes from my heart and I don't do it with half-passion. But in terms of projecting my own feelings onto characters? No, I don't do that (maybe I used to at some point, but definitely not anymore.). My life experience I use, of course, whether it is because I happen to be familiar with a setting or because I've been in a similar situation as a character/felt a similar thing – but the story always comes first, and then I see how my experiences might be useful. I truly don't know how people who read my fics who I don't talk to otherwise see me hmm. (Please if someone wants to tell me I'd be so curious!) Of course what I write about says something about my interests but apart from that, I try to stay hidden 🤫
