LaTrevious of the Gargoyle Corps. He became King of the Gargoyles after the previous monarch was ascended. He is tasked with protecting the institute from "Higher Demons" while leaving the lesser demons to the Shadowhunters.

Civil Justice Alliance: An unjust Origin

As LaTrevious lies between Jacqueline’s legs his stomach grows. Jacqueline giggles “Someone is hungry” LaTrevious simply exhales knowing that should he acknowledge his hunger she’ll make him get up so she can make him something to eat. Jacqueline pats LaTrevious’ back “Let me up” she playfully whines. “Never!” he responds defiantly. Suddenly they hear a window crash in the front room. LaTrevious leaps up, cracks the kitchen door and peeks. There are two buglers entering thru the front window. “Call 911” LaTrevious tells Jacqueline silently nods as she hands him the aluminum Louisville Slugger that they keep by the back door to chase off raccoons.

LaTrevious puts on his pants and enters the front room sliding the kitchen door closed behind him. “Whoever you are, I assure you. You’ve picked the wrong house. Leave now while you can.” The burglars raise guns in LaTrevious’ direction. Instinctively, LaTrevious turns off the light and dives behind the couch as the burglars open fire. In the kitchen Jacqueline runs behind the island and covers her head.

The gunfire stops and LaTrevious rushes one bugler and knocks him out with the bat. The 2nd burglar raises his gun and LaTrevious smashes his forearm and hits him in the stomach. LaTrevious delivers a final blow as the burglar doubles over, knocking him out cold. LaTrevious looks towards the kitchen and yells “YOU ALRIGHT BABY?”. Jacqueline’s hand appears in a crack in the kitchen door giving an affirmative ‘thumb’s up’.  “They’re out, I need the duct tape”.

LaTrevious duct tapes the would-be-burglars, knocked out, in the middle of the floor as they hear a knock on the door.

LaTrevious goes to the door. “Yes”. The answer is loud “Police, someone made a call?” LaTrevious excitedly says yes and opens the door. The officers immediately draw their side arms “PUT YOUR HANDS UP!” LaTrevious is confused “What?”. “I SAID PUT YOUR HANDS UP! I’LL BLAST YOU BACK TO AFRICA!”.

LaTrevious, angered at this, yells “Hold up! This is MY House!”. Jacqueline races to the door “WAIT! WAIT! I made the call!”. The officers look at each other “ARE YOU SURE MA’AM?” Jacqueline responds with an exasperated “Yes”. The officers re holster their sidearms, “May we come in?”. LaTrevious angrily says “NO, you already pulled a gun on me you cannot come in to my house”.  Officer Monday says “Ma’am are you in danger?” LaTrevious says “so you just are going to talk right past me like I’m not here?”

Officer Cyan pats Officer Monday and brings his attention to the duct taped burglars. They re pull their sidearms “Step to the side, NOW!” LaTrevious responds “NO, I do not give you permission to enter my home” Officer Monday responds, “Move or I’m gonna take you out!” LaTrevious steps to the side as the Officers rush in. Officer Cyan stays next to LaTrevious as Officer Monday surveys the scene. Officer Monday instructs Officer Cyan to arrest LaTrevious. “Hey! What are you doing?” Officer Cyan smugly says “I’m arresting you for assault with a deadly weapon”. Officer Monday cuts the duct tape from the burglars and calls for the EMTs. 

The EMTs take the burglars, the Officers take LaTrevious and Jacqueline is left alone.

Jacqueline contacts the NAACP office where LaTrevious works and let them know what just transpired.

Tommy is the half demon half seelie guardian of the portal to Hell. Originally one of the 7 princes of Hell, he escaped during a great war 2,000 years ago, a war that claimed the life of the previous gargoyle monarch. He has an unlikely friendship with LaTrevious who's commission is to destroy Higher Demons. After the war he created the warlocks as a possible force to prevent war of that magnitude from ever occuring again.

Spring 2019 3v3 Basketball Championships

The air smelled of competition and all through the RWC spectators gathered to watch the commotion that was gathering on court 1.

The Rec B championship got off to a quick start between ‘Dwayne Wade is my Hero’ and ‘Boston 3 Party’. The two had been dominant thourhghout the playoffs reachin the championship game with a record of 5/5 and 7/3, respectively. Dwayne Wade is my Hero jumped off to a quick 5-2 lead thanks to flurry of buckets from Nick Serra. The dominance continued for until about the 10 minute mark when the lead had increased to 15-8. Then, like a 5 o’clock storm, Boston 3 Party responded with a flurry of deep shots to cut the lead to 2 points. Brent Hirsh tried to put the team on his back, however he was no match for the duo of Tyler Mullgrav and Latrevious Perry. The two combined for 10 points late in the clock including the game sealing 2 pointer to make the final score 26-22. The late game heroics of Boston 3 Party earned them a championship game and a spot on the Wall of Fame.

The Rec A championship featured two heavy hitters in ‘Hunter x Hunter’ and ‘High tier Rec; Low tier Comp’. Both teams reached the championship game easily by defeatning opponents by significant margins at all rounds. This matchup, however, would prove to be more difficult for both teams. Hunter x Hunter struggled to find a rhythm early on as they were missing their lead scorer Kevin Wilson. This forced team manager Olajuwon Theodore to play in his plays. The team’s struggles were apparent as Ivan Montero went on to easily score and push his team to an early 7-2 lead. But the Bat Signal was shining bright and the Kevin “The Dark Knight” Wilson showed to the game around the 20 minute mark. He went on to dominate the opposition on bothe the offensive and defensive sides of the ball hitting 4 two-pointers to lead Hunter x Hunter to a 17-16 win at the end of regulation.

The Women’s championship much like the Rec A championship was on the verge of being a quick game until some late game heroics. The Fazio twins had the Real Hittas spinning as they moved the ball quickly always knowing where the other was. You could call it twin telepathy! But just as the Fazios were starting to get fatigued, Cheyenne Brown arrived for Real Hittas a display of spectacular dribbling, driving, and shooting put Real Hittas back in the game. Then, just as the clock was about to expire a mistake by Tre Way lead to Real Hittas getting the ball. This allowed Brown to take the final shot of the game. All eyes followed the shot like slow motion, floating through the air. Splash!! She sunk the shot and gave Real Hittas the comeback win that none expected after the start had. Real Hittas claimed the title with final score of 19-18.

Finally, the Comp matchup between Chriscross and The Space Cadets. The game was close all thoughout as Chris Head and Michael Lay went back and forth. The crowd ooh’d and aah’d as the two put on a clinic. The physicality of the game was unlike any other as the teams pushed and held on to each other to prevent the opponent from scoring. But it was around the 12 minute mark that Chris Head hit another gear. With the game tied at 16, he went on to score or assist in the team’s next 9 points. Defensively, Chriscross limited The Space Cadets to just one point. By the time it was all said and done, Chriscross claimed the title by a final score of 25 to 17.
