The Lamborghini Diablo SE 30 Jota was created to make something special even more special! 👌🏻 : © Fotos: @ns_images // Text: @lnd.media #lamborghini #diablo #se30 #jota __________ HISTORY: The goal during the development of the Lamborghini Diablo was not only to find a successor for the Countach, but also to build the fastest production car in the world. So the car had to be at least 320 km/h fast, even if no buyer could ever drive it out. The Diablo - internally called the P132 - is larger, heavier and much more powerful than the Countach. It is technically very different, but uses the same transmission upstream of the engine and the more advanced V12 from the Countach. The V12 has a displacement of 5707 cm³ instead of the 5167 cm³ of the Countach. The bore and stroke have been enlarged, increasing both engine power and torque. Thus the Diabolo engine already produced 492 PS. When it was presented in 1990, the Diablo was initially only offered with rear-wheel drive. In 1993, the four-wheel drive Diablo VT (for Visco Traction) was launched. To celebrate Lamborghini's 30th birthday the Special Edition SE 30 was built. Its V12 engine now produced 386 kW (525 PS). Apart from improved equipment and a rear wing, the special model could be recognized by a small badge at the rear. Only 150 pieces were built and offered from 1993 to 1995. In 1995 Lamborghini also offered the Jota package for the SE. Owners of the Special Edition could bring their vehicle to Lamborghini for conversion. The package included two air intakes on the roof, a reinforced gearbox and various measures to save weight by using lighter materials. In addition, the brakes were adapted to the increased engine power. The power increase to 438 kW (596 hp) was achieved by improved engine electronics, a higher speed limit and a special racing exhaust system. It is estimated that about 12 to 15 cars were converted.
