The Miura Jota is a well-known one-off in the world of Lamborghini. Sporting aluminum body panels, an upgraded dry-sump V-12 engine, wider wheels, a distinct front splitter, and a heavily retuned suspension, it was chief engineer Bob Wallance's crown jewel. Sadly, after Milanese businessman Walter Ronchi (one of the car's early private owners) sold the car, it was crashed and burned to the ground.In the quest to own yet another Miura Jota, Ronchi commissioned two ex-Lamborghini employees from Sant'Agata to modify a normal 1968 Miura P400 S to Jota specifications in 1975. The result is this car, the "Millechiodi," named after the rivet-heavy construction nature of the Jota and the limited run of Miura SVJs it inspired. The engine was retuned and equipped with a free-flowing exhaust, while Jota-inspired body work was applied. The car was repainted in British Racing Green, and given Plexiglass-covered headlights.

Lamborghini Miura P400 S Millechiodi, 1969. A Miura P400 S, chassis number 4302, that left Sant'Agata Bolognese in November 1969, painted Blu Notte (dark blue). Following a series of Italian owners, in 1975 it became the property of Giovanni Sotgiu and Walter Ronchi, two important names in Lamborghini history because, in addition to their work at the "Lamborcar" dealership in Milan, they were the first owners of Bob Wallace's Miura Jota. Precisely in the spirit of recreating the Jota, the two transform the 400 S, damaged in an accident, into something much more racer-like. After a huge investment their Miura, now painted in Verde Scuro (dark green), was finished. It used so many rivets to join the body panels that the name Millechiodi (a thousand nails), came naturally. The car was restored in 2018 and certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico in 2020.
